Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet, nettes Personal und es hat alles im Zimmer, was man braucht.

Wir haben das Hotel extra gebucht, weil es eine Sauna hat. Leider steht auf booking.com in keinem Satz, dass diese nur im Winter zur Verfügung steht, resp. im Sommer nur gegen Extragebühr verwendet werden kann. Hätten wir das gewusst, wären wir einfach in die Jugendherberge gegangen, denn so stimmte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nicht.

Central gelegen, Privat Parkplatz neben dem Hotel , sehr Freundliches Personal.

Good location. Bus and train stops nearby. Many restaurants and shops a short walk away. No car needed during your stay. Plenty of food options for breakfast at the hotel.

The room is fine for one person, but would be too small for two people and two suitcases.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, wij mochten al zeer vroeg op de kamer. Wij hadden een kamer met kitchenette, ruime kamer, meer dan voldoende aanwezig in de kitchenette, kleine maar zeer hygienische badkamer, veel handdoeken, rolluiken om te verduisteren een groot balcon met mooi uitzicht. Het ontbijt was voldoende. Wij hadden een gerenoveerde kamer, die was dus prima in orde.

wij verbleven maar 1 nacht maar moesten toch voor 2 dagen parking betalen (10chf) Ik vind dit toch wel een beetje overdreven. Er was naast het hotel een bouwwerf (daar kunnen zij niets aan doen) maar dan zou ik toch bv de parking gratis gegeven hebben of voor maar 5chf ter compensatie van het lawaai.

Hotel war sehr gut , Lage war sehr gut zur Innenstadt und ist direkt am Bahnhof. Frühstück war auch gut und ausreichend. Personal sehr freundlich.

Es gibt kein Kretikt Punkt. Es war alles Okay.

Very nice and small hotel in the town center

Shower was extremely small

We had a bad experience: we booked a room with balcony and we received one without. The received room was on the ground floor, it had a terase, in front of a construction site. When we asked for changing the room because we paid for the balcony, the receptionist, it seems it was the owner, said that they dont have other room, and the terase is like a balcony 😂. It made our stay very unpleasant. Also very basic breakfast, without vegetarian option, without vegetables.

Schönes kleines Hotel an guter Lage (Bahnhof in Gehdistanz) mit herziger Dekoration. Feines reichhaltiges Frühstück. Zimmer war sauber.

Zimmer war nett und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war freundlich, soweit vorhanden. Frühstück war OK, aber doch ein Stück weg von "ausgezeichnetes Frühstück" wie in der Beschreibung angegeben.

Der Charakter des Hauses war eher eine Pension als ein Hotel. Abends ist kein Personal mehr vorhanden. Es gibt einen Getränkekühlschrank zur Selbstbedienung. Hatten ein Zimmer mit Terrasse, allerdings war die Aussicht direkt auf den Bauzaun und den Rohbau mit Arbeitsaktivitäten eher unterirdisch.

The fact that it had a kitchenette.

The location is awful, it is right next to the railway track with trains coming into Engelberg, added to which their is major construction on the building next door that starts just before 7.30am.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Der Hotelbesitzer war sehr zuvorkommend.

Das Einzelzimmer war klein und hatte wegen eines überdimensionalen Bettes wenig Bewegungsraum. So fehlte mir eine etwas größere Schreibmöglichkeit und vielleicht ein bequemer Stuhl zum Fernsehen.

Nice Hotel, nice room and friendly staff

Construction of 3 new buildings just next door, will end in 1-2 month. But not a plesent view from our room. Strange that you pay for parking the day you arrive and also for the day that you leave.

The location which was very very close to engelberg station and city centre and also other activities. Breakfast was not diverse but good. Enough parking.

Not worth the price. I guess we're paying for the location and the peak season. But apart from that, it was too warm for the summer. With no AC or fan, then the pillows were not good. Overall we didn't have a good sleep. Another strange thing, Parking you have to pay for per day and not per night, which includes both check in and check out days, which means 1 day extra. So that was the first time we have seen such ways of counting for parking. Basically we parked for less than 72 hours but paid for 96. Also only the parking in the front seemed to be the one from the hotel, but only on the day of leaving, we were informed that there was other parking which was marked with white (similar to a public paid parking) is also theirs. Could have informed us that before pointing towards the fact that we parked at a spot reserved for bikes (which looked similar to a parking spot with yellow markings and cars were also parked there at other times) , and we parked there cause no other yellow parking spots were available (for which we paid extra)

O quarto é bem confortável

Ein schönes Hotel mit einem Auge für die Dekoration. Das Zimmer war für mich etwas klein aber sehr zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit sticht ins Auge und war hervorragend. Ich kann es gerne weiter Empfehlen.

Goed bed en zeer schoon

Naast het hotel 1 grote bouwput,ons balkon zat 5 meter van de steiger van de bouw. Gevraagd of er geen andere kamer was,die was er niet en de eigenaar had geen zin om verder te praten. Verontschuldiging of iets wat er op leek was ook niet aan de orde. Het hotel was mooi schoon,het geweten van de eigenaar kan dat niet zijn lijkt mij. Jammer dat deze kerel met zijn arrogante houding het verprutst voor zijn vrouw en andere werknemers die wel vriendelijk zijn!

Sauna erst ab 4 Pers. Offen gegen Aufpreis. :-(

Locatie in dit geweldige dal. Vanaf ons balkonnetje zagen we de besneeuwde toppen. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Klein familiehotel met persoonlijke aandacht van eigenaren.

My booking was made for 2 adults and 2 children . On the booking.com website also it showed the same. But when I was at the reception , I was asked to pay additionaly for one kid. I tried to show the same to the receptionist but he refused to proceed. I believe he is the owner of the property. He was very rude and when my wife tried to explain the same , he started using abusive language towards her in front of the children yelling on top of his voice. His wife was in front and she did not interfer. We decided not to stay at such a place where the host doesnt know how to speak. I would have paid and let go , but for such an attitude we decide to forfeit it.
