Mountain View Hope Motel

Beds super comfy, shower super strong! Best motel ever stayed in!

Comodità e pulizia e certamente la gentilezza dello staff

Nulla

Friendly, lots of extras, the resident cat!

Nothing

Location, cleanliness

Location was great, comfy, good value, all was good. The best was the front desk man, he was very welcoming, nice and helpful. Best front desk person I've met in a long time that was just so great in everything he did!!

can't think of a thing I didn't like. For a smaller sized room it was newly reno'd and even had room for a glass tabletop and 2 chairs!

Excellent location! Clean.

Beds could have been comfier

This motel is a little gem. The rooms contain many surprises, such as slippers, an apartment sized fridge, and many, many complementary items. They provide real glasses and mugs--no paper or plastic. Even though the motel is right on the main road, there is little noise during the night. There is a nice but small lawn for children to play on while parents watch from the picnic tables or lawn chairs. Good value for the money.

The bed

Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Lage, Unterkunft gepflegt und sauber

Nah an einer Hauptstraße, allerdings wenig Verkehr und so gut wie keine Geräusche

Very clean . Smelled fresh . Bed was very comfortable. A little bit of noise from traffic but otherwise this is a great little motel with great value for your money . I would certainly stay again . Owner was very pleasant .

Last minute booking on our road trip for a one night stop over. Great location, although it is near the road there wasn't any traffic noise. The room was spotless, great extras, and a really comfy bed. The guy on reception was lovely! Will definitely stop over again.

Nothing.

Good value for the price. Clean and quiet. Front desk friendly and helpful. Full sized fridge !

Een hartelijk welkom. Een verrassend leuke en ruime kamer en badkamer.

Het keukentje was erg klein. Maar verder okay.

The beds were comfortable, the tub was nice and new

It was old, needs a good paint job, looks like it was only half way renovated

Simple yet clean. All the amenities were available . Friendly and helpful staff. Good location.

Very modern and new too much stuff given away and I loved it.

Nothing

Comfortable bed

Parking was limited

Perfect for our one night layover. Cozy, comfortable and very clean. Surprisingly was very quiet being just off the highway.

Great stop over. They have thought of everything you could want. It felt like they wanted us to have a nice stay and put effort into that. They even helped us with our laundry. Would recommend

Nothing

The property was well maintained. Location was very easy to find and in close walking distance for stores and restaurants. The owner brought me to the room and opened the door and what a lovely little room. It has absolutely everything you could ever need and more. It has a small little kitchen with a fridge, stove microwave etc. Comfortable bed, little table to sit at and have your morning coffee. Super super clean and the attention to detail with all the extras if you’ve forgotten something. Slippers, earplugs, sleep mask, toothbrush, comb, shaving kit, sewing kit, loofa sponge… so great. 👏❤️

All great..no complaints at all.

Well kept property

We liked everything nothing to complain about

clean room

heater was not working

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff are always cheerful and helpful.

Pleasant staff, clean well situated

The shower was not working properly. Manager was notified, he said he would look into it.

Dog friendly, clean, comfortable and great for a nights stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Full size fridge and kitchenette.

Great value for the cost! Very clean and comfortable!

Personnel aux petits soins et la propreté du lieu!

Le réveil de la chambre qui sonne tout seul à 6h 😅

The room setting and decor was very homey, making for a good spot to spend the night in. On the outside of the apartment there’s a nice little garden area with benches and nice almost fairy lights to illuminate the area in a subtle colourful but not intruding glow.

There was a piece of trim missing from a window cell but quite frankly who cares when the property aside from that one detail is extremely cleanly and well kept.

Danke.

Es gibt nichts zu kritisieren. Nichts.

I really enjoyed my stay at this motel. The price-to-quality ratio is honestly 10/10. The room was very clean, which is always a big plus for me. It also felt cozy and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The TV was large and worked perfectly, and the room had everything you might need during your stay — all the essentials were provided, which made it very convenient. You can also see that the place has been recently renovated, and they did a great job — everything feels fresh and well maintained. Overall, a great experience for the price. I would definitely stay here again!

A very clean room and newly renovated. Someone spent a lot of money with new furnishings and it was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend. We would stay here again.

Very clean comfortable and inviting. The staff member I dealt with was polite and friendly, he knew who I was and helped us get to our room quickly.

Loved the location love all the swag in the room. We dind not use it...but they have everything from disposable slipper,so Dominic sewing kit, toothbrush, ear plugs, night mask. Andso much more! Comfy beds.

The 29.00 petfeefor our 5.5lb dog

Pleasantly surprised

The staff was very accommodating about my very late check-in, remembered my circumstances during checkout the next morning and asked how my trip went. The staff showed an interest in my travel experience and were very accommodating with regard to my pets.

The unit was very clean, but as it was a designated pet room, it may not have been used for a few days and the sheets smell a bit stale. The bed was very comfortable, but it would have been an excellent stay if the sheets had smelled fresh.

Clean & comfortable

Tax on pet price $25 plus tax. I have a small dog who hardly barks and doesn’t destroy anything. Maybe small dogs should cost less?

Cheap, large smart TV, great front desk staff

Pillows and bed if I had to pick

Exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable bedding- full size fridge. Very kind manager who suggested a travel route to avoid bad weather. Lots of fast food and grocery nearby.

My room 9 was near the road- traffic noise but less at night If you’re a light sleeper ask for a room at the back of the property- 1- and 12 , I think

The greeting from the front desk was really lovely and he showed us right to our room.

My only complaint is that the laundry soap is heavily scented. I’m not sensitive to scent, however I did find the smell overpowering.

Big room with two comfortable beds with good separation that allowed for a very peaceful sleep for two people

Coffee maker was a little finicky It was a single serving Keruig that had to be initiated several times before the process would start up

Exceptionally helpful staff.Great location.Clean rooms.

Nothing loved it

Friendly staff, clean and well maintained room, good price. Great service. They even provided a bed for our dog.

Great location and quiet

Affordable and comfy bed

The room was large, very clean, had a small full kitchen. Shower was great with excellent water pressure. Beds were incredibly comfortable!

New decor, clean, friendly, has everything you need including toiletries, full size fridge, new appliances, Netflix, good coffee, great shower. Exceptional value

Bed very comfortable Liked the renovations

bathroom walls could be redone

Our room was very very clean. It is nice to have fresh sheets and a spotless bathroom when staying at a roadside motel. Effort is obviously put in to the housekeeping by the owner/operator. The rooms smart TV was huge, also. Which was appreciated as the rain kept us inside during our stay.

Did not like the difficult TV remote controls- 2 for 1 TV and hard to find lived TV Channels.

Parking lot was a little small but doable

Good place !

Nothing. It was super !

Staff was great and the room was very clean.

Location and staff

It is extremely old apartment partially refurbished, with main bed in the kitchen living area and 2nd bed in a creepy room. For the price paid its very poor value.

Staff was so welcoming and friendly. It was very safe, I felt comfortable there! Would stay there again! Staff made me feel so comfortable!

Ther was no breakfast. The location was good.

The room was a little small.

Great price.

The linnens and room were so steeped in fragrances I could barely stand it.

No time had to catch ferry

No complaints , our stay was overnight & up very early to continue over to Vanc. Island.
