Located in the heart of busy Sandton - arriving by car was hectic, but one inside, it was nice. Clean rooms - great amenities - quiet sleep. It is connected to Sandon Malls so shopping & meeting friends for dinner was very easy.. Wonderful breakfast.

Simply during my stay, my Home in Joburg for the last 14 years. Fabulous location with a Secure straight accès to the Santon City Mall and clos to all major Brands for shopping and all kinds of restaurants.

I would not hesitate walking through the lobby in pyjama and gown - it feels to me so much like home

I did not think twice before selecting Davinci for my third trip to SA as the last experience was top notch. Thankfully, I enjoyed every bit of my stay just like the last time. The property is well cleaned and always sparkling with good fragrance. The location at the heart of Sandton City will always make your stay in Jo'burg absolutely worth the while.

Back to Sandton, had to stay at Da Vinci again, never disappoints. The staff are great, the room is predictably comfortable with great amenities. It was pretty nice to be sat on the balcony having a coffee first thing in the morning.

Hotel pictures state an indoor and outdoor pool. Indoor heated. This is factually incorrect. THere isnt any indoor pool at all for use. The rooms photgraph well the actual rooms look dated and well worn. Staff management I found to be dismissive. The bed is very comfortable However outside of the bed sheets being clean. The blanket and covers smelled bad and defiantly unwashed. Stay at the Maslow or hilton near by

The best place to lodge in Sandton. Proximity to the mall and restaurants as well as attraction spots. Excellent service experience from staff and very cosy room with really nice pillows that helps you sleep fine with no pain.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful.

The property is good I can’t fault it in anyway. However I would like to comment on the fact that over the years I have stayed there a number of times and not once has the management acknowledged to upgrade or to give me some sort of appreciation. I have been there several even for my birthday and there was no acknowledgment. Which of course is not a must but it would be a good thing to have some sort of appreciation too.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. Walking distance to the Nelson Mandela square. The facilities and amenities are excellent, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you arrive. I had the indulgence package at the DaVinci and it blew my mind. 10/10 for everything. So much value for money and real 5 star treatment.

Really well appointed hotel, great location and fantastic service. The hotel also has dedicated parking which was super convenient as we rented a car. It is literally connected to the shopping centre and the rooms and service were great. We even had a choice of pillow type which makes all the difference. We used the gym which was well appointed and if we ever do go back we’ll use the spa next time too as we didn’t get around to it this time.

fantastic location. bit of a drive from airport. safe, comfortable, very nice rooms and great staff. connected to nearby mega shopping mall with everything you need. picked over the internet for safety and location, and it delivered. breakfast is very layback, so don't be in a rush, but Capsicum, the chef, will do anything within his power to accommodate you. oh, um, l picked up a new habit for this lovely hotel... breakfast mimosas.... cheers

It is a spacious room and is located in the heart of the city. While the staff are being pleasant, by and large, cleanliness and responsiveness are beyond comprehension.

I had a wonderful stay and the place is very clean and it smells good. I had a great experience overall.

We had a wonderful time there; the room was beautiful and very well equipped with everything one usually needs when traveling: all the amenities, bottled water, a hair dryer, very comfortable beds and pillows, and a good-sized desk. In addition, the room and bathroom were very clean, which is important. Breakfast at the restaurant was great; the buffet offered a wide variety of options, and there was also a menu with several hot breakfast choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful, both at the hotel and in the breakfast restaurant. And the fact that the hotel is located inside the shopping center is definitely a plus.

We only had an overnight scheduled as it was part of a tour package, but it was a very nice place to stay. If we were to stay longer, would definitely stay there again.

The place is very clean, staff is friendly and willing to assist. There was a gentleman who came into our room to ask if we needed room service (he had knocked and we did not hear him) - I think the best mode of communication would be to call? Overall it was amazing and the food was the best part!

Da Vinci is the perfect stop for a business trip overnight stop. Gautrain in and out of Sandton, with free shuttle pickup from station. Shopping centre is an elevator trip away.

DaVinci Hotel is very conveniently located and directly connected to Sandton City Square, which is a real advantage for both business and leisure travellers. However, the overall service experience did not meet expectations. The attitude and approach of staff at the restaurant, as well as in the lobby area on 5th Street, came across as lacking politeness and customer focus. Interactions felt unnecessarily argumentative rather than solution-oriented. In addition, breakfast service could benefit from greater attentiveness and responsiveness from staff, particularly during busier periods. This is a well-located property, but the hotel would greatly benefit from further staff training focused on professionalism, courtesy, and a more customer-centric approach, which is essential for a hotel of this standing.

The toilet in our apartment was constantly leaking and wasn't fixed throughout our stay.

Positive: location, friendly concierge and reception staff, lovely spa, thoughful birthday balloons and cake for my daughter’s birthday. Room was nice enough Negative: breakfast was appalling, staff at breakfast were unhelpful and unfriendly, buffet was underwhelming and al la carte was very disappointing, lacking flavour and finesse. Not a nice experience at all!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, and comfortable, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was excellent, and the bottomless mimosas were such a great touch. A special mention to Thuso, who served us so well. He was incredibly pleasant, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Overall, a wonderful experience.

The apartment is good, the second room has small bed.

The bar service very poor, the waiter always take a while to come. Every time have to rise hand and no one see if you are there. Many waiters, but poor service.

Once in lifetime experience stay in JHB. The staff from receiving us at the airport to the driver the reception staff and all general staff were extraordinary in all aspects. We can only recommend to anybody going to JHB to stay at the Da Vinci Hotel and Suites, I know that we will be doing it again and again.

My first visit to SA and Johannesburg. Good location and comfy rooms and beds. Friendly staff, 24 hour Gym. Spa. Next to nelson Mandela Shopping Mall and Trumps Grill defienitely worth a visit! hope to come back soon1

The apartment needed a lot of maintenance. From the second bedroom toilet which had to be fixed twice. To the AC in the lounge and second bedroom which was old and made noise. The shower head in bedroom one needed replacing. The toaster and fridge that wasn’t working properly. We got given new toaster and new fridge.

Part of a shopping mall in a suburb of Johannesburg which is surposed to be quite safe (though we never left the hotel). Service, room and food in the restaurant excellent. Staff very friendly. Would recommend
