Heritage Inn & Suites

Stayed here for a hockey tournament Nov 28–30. Rooms are dated but fine—except ours (and several others) had NO heat during -27°C weather. No alternate rooms were available, so we used a space heater. Night staff were kind, but management (Eric) never returned calls despite multiple calls. Customer service is poor. You might pay for a room and not get heat. Hockey tournament coordinators: book elsewhere! Try the Days Inn across the street instead. Avoid this hotel.

Great place to stay, nice clean rooms and early check in was no problem and a very quiet hotel.

Room and bathroom were dated and had a stale smell. Had to tell a family that their kids shouldn't be playing in the hallways one evening. They thought it was ok as it wasn't 'quiet time'. Really?? Take them to a playground!! Outside door didn't close properly - great security!!

We rented a room from this hotel as it was a reasonable price but we were more than pleased. The hotel was very clean, we were greeted with a smile. It was a great stay.

We were travelling across the country staying in moderate motel accommodations to economize. This was the nicest place we stayed in for one of the lowest price points. Had everything we needed, a spacious room, with tiny kitchenette, included breakfast and friendly staff.

Great place to stay the staff is very nice and friendly. Pool is always clean and the breakfast is great and the rooms are very clean.

A pass key like the rooms for pool would be better as the key is difficult at times to get it to unlock door. A great place to stay with food options close by

The building is really nice and the breakfast was good even though there were no hot items offered. A nice touch was fresh fruit cups. There was a restaurant next door but not open for supper.

The beds are starting to sag. Bad for your back. The exercise bike electrical readout was dead. Bad breakfast

We stayed in a double queen room for 2 nights. We usually stay there twice a year but we will no longer be staying there. The mattresses have not been replaced, probably since they opened. They were saggy and we both ended up with very sore backs. The cleaners do not leave you any dish soap or dish cloths but they also did not leave us with any clean dishes - we had to ask for clean items. They also did not replenish the coffee and supplies - we also asked for but did not ever receive.

Front desk was unattended at times making you have to wait for check in and check out. Also, you can to go to the front desk for a physical key to the pool which was inconvenient especially when you are in a swim suit.

Well run with the friendliest staff. Always willing to help. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Our two day stay was really pleasant. Every kind of restaurant fast food to great steak was within a few miles .

Jersey at the front desk was absolutely wonderful to work with. Everything was great.

I did not receive the room I booked. They eventually put me into the room that I booked but told me that there was an up charge on it. Not happy.

It's clean, pool and hot tub are small and we could hear people in the room above is at 2am stomping around. Other than that for the price it's a decent place to stay.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Dealt with two people at the front desk. They were fine but not overly friendly. They were helpful with a couple of questions.

Rooms were large, it was nice to have housekeeping, travel a lot and usually need to stay 2days before the room is cleaned but here they cleaned the first night. Staff helpful and welcoming

Hotel was fine

Though the pool was a bit harder to enjoy due to the recklessness of other patrons. The placr was well kept and the breakfast was good.

The pool/hottub area was immaculate. Inconvenient to ask for a key everytime and no towels in the pool area. Breakfast was ok, nothing hot offered, had to be heated up. Staff was not overly friendly. One was borderline rude about pool use

The continental breakfast had a fair amount of variety. They had like breakfast wraps you can microwave but no hot & ready food. Real dishes & cutlery. Comfortable chairs & tables to eat at. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean & quiet.

Overall good stay and great value. Friendly staff and restaurant options nearby.

Same breakfast choices during our stay. Would have given 4 stars if there is variety. There are days the lobby and hallways have that strong farm odour.

Really loved our stay here. The beds were very comfortable. The room and the rest of the hotel were very clean. Staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good with lots of choices. In a really good location, easy to find. The sister hotel next door had a fantastic restaurant. Special thank you to the lady at the front desk( I didn't catch her name) who had a mechanic at the hotel within 10 minutes when my car battery died! The only thing missing from the hotel was an outdoor seating area.

I like the location. Price is reasonable. The room is spacious with good amenities. Small pool with nice hot tub (working jets and hot). Breakfast is better than average. Will stay at this hotel again.

Lots of space in room with 2 queen beds. Good. 1 set of toiletries for a 2 bed room. Not good. Workout area and pool. Good. No foot cover at end of bed for bright white duvet cover. Not good. Elevator. Good. Elevator that shook and moved around as it got to the 3rd floor. Not good. Looks like a nice and open breakfast area. Good. Lots of parking. Good. Not overly secure parking. Not good.

The property is close to many other hotels and restaurants such as McDonald’s and Tim Hortons - there is a smell right outside the place but overall the hotel was near many stuff including a gas station.

Staff was patient and friendly. The hotel was clearly well taken care of and the breakfast was wonderful.

Hotel staff where a little unreasonable, our kid was swimming in the pool and they wouldn't even allow us to enjoy a coffee while we watched him they made us drink it outside, breakfast wasn't very good and elevator will scare the sh!t right out of you

A comfortable stay with good prices and friendly staff

Decently healthy breakfast. The only thing I would change about it would be to serve the omelettes hot, not cold on ice. What an odd thing to do. The hotel itself was good and the staff were helpful and friendly. The elevator, however, needs to have a sign posted explaining that the extreme jolt of the braking system is normal. The only reason we knew it was was because our last hotel had the same system and had a sign posted in the elevator. Someone who doesn't know it's normal would most likely be quite concerned with the abrupt stop and bang of the elevator.

Our stay was pleasant, beds were comfortable and cozy. Hotel was quiet and room clean.

Clean and big rooms. I’m always unsure about glass mugs and glasses as to how they were washed. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was all individually wrapped and was sufficient. We’d stay here again.

The rooms are spacious, nice and clean. Breakfast is decent. But if you want something more then Tim Horton’s is nearby.

Overall the stay was good it’s a little outdated but clean. The only thing that was bad was the service. We walked in and walked up to the counter the lady looked at me through the glass from the room behind the counter. There was a bell saying ring for service. Which I did not ring since she looked right at me standing there. Well needless to say we waited and waited and then finally pushed the bell and she came out right away. I’m sorry but that is just weird why wouldn’t you just great the customer right away or at least acknowledge us if you are busy and need to finish up what you are doing.

Very good hotel - they even allowed a 2 hour early checkin which allowed us to attend a funeral. Highly recommend staying there.

Very convenient and easy. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed and linen very good. TV channels just so so. Could not move the screen. Washroom and shower very good.

Lots of bugs crawling on us in our beds. They looked like carpet beetles. Hardly slept. It was so gross.

The front desk receptionists was polite, helpful, quick and efficient.

Our stay at the Heritage Inn snd Suites was amazing. A very clean property. The staff were wonderful. Very clean and quiet. The breakfast was ample with a good variety of things to eat and drink drink. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you all for a most enjoyable stay. 😊

Chantelle, front desk, was welcoming, pleasant and a wonderful personality. Chantel is definitely a great asset to your company and your guests.

Excellent choices for breakfast. Hot tub was not switching off, but got repaired next day. Only real problem was noise generated around 9pm by a lacrosse team which concided with our 8 yr old grandson trying to sleep. Checkin check out quick and efficient.
