Villa Maria Tayrona, Jungle and Sea Experience

Todas las instalaciones están perfectamente integradas y en armonía con el entorno selvático . La comida en general el muy buena. La gente súper amable y servicial, Rubi, Anibal y todos en general. Los animales del hotel son un capitulo aparte , los papagallos , los monos , y hasta los gatos , se nos pego Paulina durante toda la estancia ; gran anfitriona. Muy recomendable

Lo único y que no tiene que ver con el establecimiento es que la playa es mar abierto y , muy peligrosa y no es recomendable para baño. Igualmente el hotel tiene una muy buena piscina.

I stayed at Villa Maria Tayrona for three nights and it is genuinely a paradise. Staff were very friendly and attentive - Andres was super helpful and made great travel recommendations. Front desk staff was very responsive on WhatsApp and answered so many of my questions. The property is superb, right in middle of the jungle with huge space and nature to explore. The hotel did have power outage once during my stay but it came back up within few minutes. The hotel also has two Macaws you can watch and interact with. The restaurant has great selection of food- and they are delicious! Parque Tayrona is nearby, very convenient to go for a hike from the hotel using taxi or bus. Enjoyed my stay, I can’t recommend enough. Gracias !

Because the hotel is situated in the mountains, wifi isn’t always consistent but a good reminder that you are meant to be there to disconnect .

Un lugar con encanto. El personal está super atento, muy educado y hacen su trabajo con amor. Todos fueron super amables con ganas de ayudar desde los chicos de mantenimiento y chicas de servicio de limpieza hasta personal de la cocina.Los camareros del restaurante todos son profesionales y personas que convierten un hotel a un lugar con Alma que te hace sentir bienvenida. Los chicos de la recepción están atentos todo el rato. Y me robaron el corazón dos pajaritos cacatúa Lila y Paco... Espero volver algún día para desconectar en este lugar maravilloso.

Me gustaría que el servicio de SPA tenga más tratamientos y más masajistas para poder elegir. Y si hubiera alguna tienda con artículos de la zona como café o cosméticos y cosas artesanales seguramente compraría algo.

Un site d’exception dans un immense parc à la végétation luxuriante. Superbe bungalow perché sur la colline accessible par un pont de singes. Beau lieu pour les repas et belle piscine. Un personnel particulièrement chaleureux. Accès très proche pour visiter le parc Tayrona et ses plages exceptionnelles.

Le prix reste élevé pour la Colombie. Pas d’eau chaude lors de notre séjour. Impossible de se baigner en mer lors de notre venue sur la plage Kokos à proximité de l’hôtel.

Nuestra estancia en Villa María fue una experiencia única e inolvidable, rodeados de naturaleza en un ambiente cómodo y relajante. Nos encantó la piscina, la comida y sobre todo el trato del personal. Mencionar en especial a Ruby, Kelly, Manuel y Ricardo, que sin duda consiguieron que nuestra visita pasara de muy buena a excelente. Todo el equipo es maravilloso y cuidan cada detalle para asegurarse de que te encuentras a gusto.

Es importante revisar las advertencias del hotel, ya que debido a su ubicación tienen algunos problemas técnicos que pueden ser poco agradables si te pillan por sorpresa. Por ejemplo, la luz se va de vez en cuando y por lo tanto no siempre hay aire acondicionado. Aún así, siempre hacen lo que pueden por arreglarlo cuanto antes.

La chambre sentait le renfermé , les équipements dans la chambres étaient de mauvaise qualité , sèche cheveux avec air froid uniquement , serviettes de bain déchirées , pas suffisamment de gel douche . Coupures d’électricité incessantes , petit déjeuner médiocre, restaurant médiocre.

Hotel incroyable avec des animaux partout et des fruits et légumes du jardin. Accès à une.plage sauvage incroyable. Personnel aux petits soins. Allez y les yeux fermés ! Logements vastes et de qualité en bambou. Et une vue incroyable de votre terrasse !

The beach, pool, hotel grounds, spa and restaurant were all amazing. The staff are absolutely lovely, too. The coastal jungle location is just spectacular - we saw monkeys, iguanas, and tons of gorgeous birds, and loved being in nature.

El entorno y la ubicación son increíbles,además el autobús al tayrona para justo en la puerta. Obviamente al estar en la selva no tiene muchos servicios alrededor pero puedes caminar 5 mins a la playa, hay piscina en el hotel y hay restaurante en el hotel, que está muy bien. Las cabañas son muy cómodas,con aire acondicionado, mosquiteras, ventilador y una hamaca en la terraza y la cama y l ducha muy cómodas. El personal muy amable y atento.

No es nada malo pero previamente te avisan de que puede haber pequeños cortes de luz (literalmente de segundos) y que el wifi no siempre llega a las habitaciones pero en las zonas comunes funciona perfecto. Pero es lógico y normal estando en la selva, a cambio puedes ver animalitos.

Beautiful property in the middle of the jungle with a short easy walk to the beach. The staff were all so lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect - they even helped us to spot animals and let us borrow some binoculars. The restaurant on site was great, we enjoyed all meals we had there, and the friendly parrots that hang out there add to the charm. The room was lovely, clean, comfy and air-conditioned, but next time we would book a room with a higher balcony so that we had more animal spotting opportunities as we were on a ground floor bungalow. One of our favourite stays, 10/10 recommend!!

Struttura meravigliosa, completamente immersa nel verde smeraldo della giungla lussureggiante. Il ponte tibetano per passare all’area delle stanze, o meglio comode cabane dava quel senso di avventura. Ottima la colazione e anche la cena consumata al loro ristorante la sera

Non facilissimo da raggiungere, inoltre pensavamo la struttura si trovasse all’interno del Parco Tayrona come anche altri clienti. Forse vale la pena chiarire sul sito per evitare fraintendimenti e aspettative deluse. Inoltre, se si hanno bagagli pesanti e ingombranti il ponte sospetto prima e la salita per raggiungere la camera poi potrebbe non essere il massimo… Comunque atmosfera stupenda, in mezzo alla natura, spendi da soprattutto la doccia immersa nella foresta schermata da una zanzariera. Staff estremamente gentile e cordiale

Nos gustó todo! El lugar un sueño! Dentro de la naturaleza, la cabaña super cómoda y limpia además de estética, tienes piscina para disfrutar, también caminar por toda la propiedad y escuchar el sonido de los pájaros, los árboles, los colibríes 🥰 el personal super amable, todo excelente, nos quedamos una noche más,gracias! Lo recomiendo muchísimo

L hotel est magnifique la seul ombre au tableau de la chambre 6 et 14 le bruit de la route gâche le décor du matin au soir .il faudrait rentrer plus dans les terre...Les perroquets bien dommage ils on les ailes coupées donc moins authentique....

Como bien indica su nombre, más que un alojamiento es toda una experiencia. Villa María es maravillosa en todos los sentidos. Su ubicación en la Selva te permite rodearte de una impresionante vegetación, despertar con el canto de los pájaros, esperar la visita de los monos, almorzar en el restaurante mientras vuelan colibríes detrás tuyo, compartir la fruta con Paco y Lila. Toda la Villa está cuidada hasta el último detalle, sus jardines, los caminos, las cabañas, la zona de la piscina, el restaurante. La comida es deliciosa, abundante, excelente relación calidad precio. Y mención especial a todo el personal, todas y cada una de las personas que trabajan en la Villa son tremendamente amables, atentos, resolutivos, hospitalarios, en definitiva, unos grandes profesionales. Inolvidable.

The way to the hotel is not that well marked. The uber drivers had struggles finding it but we managed it in the end.

Nuestra estadia en familia fue perfecta. Villa Maria es un lugar increible, pero sobre todo su gente que queremos resaltar, hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera aun mejor. Desde el check in con Manuel, el restaurante con Ruby, Naty, Don George, Andres, personal de cocina, personal de aseo y mantenimiento. Tienen un gran equipo y eso hace que la experiencia sea 10 de 10

Très bel hôtel!! Tout est parfait, le bungalow dans la jungle est d'une propreté exemplaire, la déco magnifique avec les bambous et le bois donne une belle ambiance et notre chambre spacieuse avec une salle de bain originale nous offrait une vue splendide entre mer et jungle. Toute l'équipe de l'hôtel est adorable, serviable et pleine d'attentions pour nous . Et les aras et colibris sont au rv! 4 nuits parfaites!!

Needs more lounge seating - there is no-where comfortable to sit outside your room, except for two small sofas by the pool. Also, they don't tell you that the accommodation isn't in the main house. All the accommodation is in bungalows

El servicio es excelente, sus instalaciones están muy bien cuidadas y organizadas, el lugar es de ensueño pero el staff, todo el equipo de Villa María lo hace aún mejor, definitivamente la atención con ese paisaje, la comida de excelente calidad y su servicio acogedor lo hace el lugar perfecto y preferido para vacacionar, ultra recomendado y volveremos.

Wunderschöne Anlage um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Wir hatten 5 Nächte dort und waren am letzten Tag immer noch begeistert. Die Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Dschungeltraum. Wer mit Papageien und Kolibris frühstücken möchte, sollte unbedingt hier buchen. Der Weg zum Strand ist ebenfalls ein absoluter Traum! Der Weg ist einfach nur wunderschön und unvergesslich. Es gibt einige Bungalows, mal mit besserer/schlechter Aussicht, alle sind aus Bambus gebaut und wurden täglich gereinigt, inkl. frischen Handtüchern und kleinen Wasserflaschen im Kühlschrank. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, professionell und entgegenkommend. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen, auch was die Essensauswahl betrifft. Ich bin selbst Vegetarierin und habe immer was gefunden.

Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir nach einem anderen Bungalow gefragt, da wir ein Standard Doppelzimmer gebucht hatten und wir im Erdgeschoss untergebracht waren, während bei noch sehr vielen freien Bungalows ein weiteres Paar über uns ins Dachgeschoss im selben Bungalow untergebracht wurde. Es war daher sehr laut, da man Schritte von oben eben hörte. Auf Nachfrage wurden wir erstmal vertröstet mit der Antwort, dass sie sich was überlegen. Das ist leider innerhalb 5 Tagen nicht passiert. Gerne hätten wir uns eine Rückmeldung gewünscht. Da die Anlage sehr groß ist und sich die Bungalows verteilen, gab es bei uns viel zu Laufen. Unser Bungalow war ziemlich weit hinten. Jedes Mal musste man Stufen hoch und runter laufen als auch die Hängebrücke überqueren, was durchaus ein Erlebnis ist. Sollte man nicht so gut zu Fuß sein, sollte man dies direkt anmerken bei der Wahl der Bungalows. Was das vegetarische essen betrifft, hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass es sowas wie Tofu zur Auswahl gibt oder generell mehr Auswahl und Abwechslung bei den vegetarischen Gerichten. Wir hatten einmal das Curry (mit und ohne Fleisch). Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass wir wirklich noch nie so ein schlechtes Curry gegessen hatten. Es bestand nur aus gelben und grünen Zucchini und Zwiebeln, der Reis war viel zu wenig und es war geschmacklos. Die Pasta Alfredo hingegen war hervorragend, sodass wir sie gleich 2x bestellten, allerdings von der Portion her viel zu wenig. Das Personal kam uns aber entgegen, was uns gefreut hat. Die Küche ist gut, doch mit Potenzial nach oben. Zuletzt wäre es toll, wenn es Seifenspender in den Bungalows gibt, so wie auf den Toiletten bei der Rezeption oder am Pool.

I cottage nella natura e la posizione.

We stayed here twice. Surrounded by beautiful jungle and views of the Caribbean. Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good food, parrots and humming birds.

The only slight problem is the the reception can be disorganised (though very friendly) . On both stays, we arrived a little early, so checked in and relaxed by the pool - fair enough. Unfortunately, despite the rooms being ready, I had to ask a few times well after the usual check in time if we could eventually have our room. I guess this is the definition of a 'first world problem' but we were keen for a shower after a long journey.

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de plage sécurisée

Heerlijk hotel om tot rust te komen. Mooie bungalows omgeven door groen en sommige met uitzicht op zee (ver in de horizon). Beste bed waar ik in Colombia heb geslapen met fijne kussens. Bungalow is van alle gemakken voorzien, er is een fijn zwembad en vriendelijk personeel. Via een pad dat grotendeels binnen het complex ligt ben je in tien minuutjes op het strand. Bonuspunten dat er zoveel opties zijn voor het ontbijt en je ook eens wat anders kunt eten dan ei, zoals een paar lokale opties. Ik had veel insecten en muggen verwacht in dit groene gebied, maar heb daar totaal geen last van gehad.

Het leek erop dat het restaurant een personeelstekort had, want je moest soms vrij lang wachten. Niet echt een probleem, want op een plek als deze telt de tijd even niet, maar goed om rekening mee te houden.

The view from our room to the sea was gorgeous . Our room was very comfortable. Staff were really friendly. And dinner was really tasty and in a lovely setting.

L’endroit, le calme

Villa Maria is such a beautiful place located in the middle of the jungle. It offers the comfort, the location, the kindness of the staff and the amazing experience to be in the middle of the trees. You will love seeing the humming birds fly by the restaurant. The pool is a great plus and the restaurant offers very delish dishes. The staff's attention to details makes you feel like royalty (thanks again for my birthday cakes ;o)

A lovely bungalow in a quiet position

Hôtel situé à 4 km de l'entrée principale du parc Tayrona. Les bungalows sont grands, très confortables et correctement équipés. Il y a un immense terrain autour de L’hôtel, qu’on peut visiter avec un guide. Le restaurant est correct mais pas exceptionnel. Le personnel charmant et efficace. Il y a une petite piscine, suffisante pour se refroidir un peu car il fait chaud et humide.

On peut comprendre que le prix soit un peu plus élevé qu'ailleurs en raison de l'emplacement, mais je le trouve vraiment excessif par rapport au niveau de qualité globale.

Établissement idéalement situé avec une vue superbe sur Tayrona, le restaurant était excellent et le personnel aux petits soin. Nous avons pu profiter des super activités qui nous ont été proposées (massage , balade à cheval, transfert privé)

Les chambres manquent un peu de mobilier

L’hotel est trés confortable. Les personnels trés agréables également. Deux jours suffisent. Nous dommes restés 4 jours.méfiez vous des périodes ou le parc est fermé. Cela restreint énormément l’intérêt de la région

Exceptionnel

La gentillesse du personnel. La beauté du site: c'est vraiment tres charmant - notre bungalow avait vue sur la mer avec aucun vis a vis donc parfait pour l'intimité. On est dans la jungle c'est magnifique : colibris, capucins, iguane font partis des animaux que nous avons pu observer. Et on est tout proche de la plage aussi a pied. Pour nous c'etait le paradis car c'est très calme et la période faisait en sorte que c'etait moins achalandé donc un vrai moment de détente. Les jus de mangues !! Un vrai regal. Pour le restaurant c'etait bien aussi. Pas aussi exceptionnel que ce a quoi nous nous attendions vu les commentaires mais c'etait quand meme convenable. Pour conclure, on a adoré notre expérience et on envisage fortement d'y revenir lors d'un prochain séjour.

El trato del personal, todos era muy amables y atentos, tenían un corazón hermoso. Desde la recepción, el restaurante y el señor que nos dio el tour, no hay palabras para describirlos. La comida deliciosa con una carta variada…todo esto, el trato amable, entraba perfectamente en armonía con el paisaje del hotel, los animales, las guacamayas, los colibríes nos regalaron los recuerdos más increíbles en nuestro viaje.

Amazing views from beautiful, spacious, clean, comfy cabins. Very large and well maintained grounds, with a direct path to the beach. Nice pool, friendly staff, close to Tayrona National Park.

Dinner and breakfast food slightly boring

@Rubi: Die Kellnerin war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und stets gut gelaunt. Unsere Bestellungen wurden zügig aufgenommen und korrekt serviert. Man merkt, dass sie ihren Job mit Leidenschaft macht. Ein großes Lob!

Absolutamente todo. Se encuentra en un entorno hermoso y muy cuidado. En armonía y respeto con la naturaleza y fauna del lugar. Nos gustó tanto que extendimos nuestra estancia! Tienen para hacer senderismo dentro del lugar, y un camino privado hasta la playa. Viven dos estupendos guacamayos que son muy anfitriones. La comida muy rica, y el staff SUPER amables. Altamente recomendable

Nada. Pero comentar que las habitaciones son bastante alejadas y hay que subir y bajar varias escaleras por colinas. Quizás no tan recomendable para personas que requieren accesibilidad o muy mayores.

My room was very nice and private, with a balcony looking out on the jungle. A variety of birds were singing during the day, and insects and geckos were chirping after dark. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. The food is good, although mostly international options. There are also cats and talking parrots around, which add some character. There is warm water for the showers, it just takes a couple of minutes to arrive. The pool is warm and clean. The grounds are very large and well-kept. There is a beautiful beach about 5 mins walk away, mostly through a private walkway on the hotel grounds. My stay was during low season, and there were only a handful of others staying there, so it was very relaxed and quiet. If you are looking to meet people it's probably not the place, but if you want to relax in a jungle setting, with the sea nearby, it's perfect.

L'hôtel se situe dans la forêt, nous avons pu observer des colibris , des petits singes , des perroquets.... Le personnel est très au prés de ces clients, la nourritures a répondu à nos attente. Le séjour est très vite passé.... Hotel à recommander !!!!

Séjour magnifique ! Dépaysement total au milieu de la jungle ! Chambre très confortable, piscine superbe avec hamac à disposition ! Merci au personnel également de faire de cet endroit un havre de paix en harmonie avec la nature

Herrlich im Dschungel gelegen umgeben von vielen Tieren. Gutes Restaurant mit gutem Frühstück, Mittag und Abendbrot. 6-7 Minuten über einen Privatweg vom Strand entfernt (der zwar schön, aber nicht außergewöhnlich ist). Die Zimmer waren geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Der Nationalpark ist sehr nah dran und unbedingt einen Besuch wert!

Kein Luxus, muss man bei dem Preis aber auch nicht erwarten. Gerade im Poolbereich könnte man noch ein bisschen mehr rausholen, was Sauberkeit und Qualität angeht.
