Hotel Baja del Sol Inn

secure parking, friendly staff

Everything is good

pay one night extra and not refund 😡

The only thing I wouldn't change was not having a fridge or microwave, but we just loved their property. It's very welcoming and compared to other properties for rent, this was perfect for me, for someone who's going to have to come down once a month. I can't wait for next month. The mosaics are stunning.

One place very nice!!!

we loved the place we wouldn’t mind staying here again

Was my first time I liked was so nice service thank you

The staff is the worst. Didn’t let me stay the night when my itinerary was already paid for.

Didn’t have my room!

Everything was decent all around, the carpets are old and ugly but atleast clean.

Internet didn’t work, not only the day I stayed there but in general they don’t have good internet connection according to the cashier. Other than that, is worth the price of the night.

Sheets and towels dirty and to old duren like

Staff was great. Place was clean.

I was pleased on how clean and big the room was . Need better connection with tv and more channels other than sexual rated ones prize was excellent. I would stay again.

Beach view

It was located in the wrong address.

When we open the door to go into the room, there’s a heavy, small table that would prevent us of going inside the room with our luggage. The second thing is that why we went inside to shower the water was more cold than hot. The hot water was barely warm. There was only one toilet paper roll that was more than half used already, and the worst thing was that we could not figure out where a very bad smell was coming from, but I think it was the rug that smelled really bad so we kept the air conditioner on at all times to help with the smell, but we need to keep the covers on our head as well as as our body. We did not request another room because we were told that they did not have any more rooms available when we got there.

Nice ubicación!

The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet.

i liked the clean rooms, the safety of my vehicle, the staff was kind and helpful, the food a couple shops away was amazing. overall perfect

Todo

Spacious room, but WiFi did not work and each time we had to go out we needed to leave key at reception . Staff friendly and had a new pool

This place was the perfect stay for a weeklong business trip.

Motel Castillos Del Mar is the correct place on gps

This was not the location listed on maps.

It was great for the price

All good

Excelente atención a huéspedes. Limpio y bonito por el precio.

They were super helpful and thoughtful

Great customer service

Friendly staff. Very informative on their amenities. Didn’t really see if it was eco-friendly, but it did look like it had enough parking spots/car ports for guests. I would stay here again for the affordability and cleanliness of the location.

This is the best deal in Rosarito. Comfortable beds, hot water with strong pressure, super clean and somewhat modernized. Plus the rooms have a/c and a lot of them have beach view!

Cerca de la playa y el centro de Rosarito

The blowdryer did not work and when I called if they had an extra one but they did not. Also, the sheets were not very clean because it had some stains and also the towels were old and discolored. Plus, when I first arrived inside my room, it smelled like wet dog, mildew like. I had to use my car refresher to make the room more stay able.

Is motel

It’s a little noisy with cars driving by

No bueno

Beach view

.

Clean friendly staff and few blocks away from the beach

Adult hotel...not for childrens ears...restroom had an order to it.

Close to the beach

This was actually pretty nice. I was surprised because of previ6re idea, but for the cost I took it anyways. The room was clean, bathroom sanitized with label on the lid, and soap, shampoo, and towels were new. TV works and has premium channels, AC, window, queen or king size bed, can't tell but it was big. No deposit, no key issues, and very big 3 lane roads outside. Now, it's all cement, so noise in the hallways do echo, and they start working early so you won't sleep in after 9 am, but that Mexico for you. Your windows are thin, and you will here traffic in the morning. Nice restaurants across the street.

good customer service room was clean and easy parking

Asen mucho ruido en la noche y madrugada los uespedes y personal de aseo

Motel by the hour not family friendly.

Bed was comfortable... Room next to main street, didn't like noise... 2 drunk guys fighting next to my room and hallway from 2 am to 5 am.

We weren't expecting it to be as comfy and nice but it was awesome. Very comfortable bed and the rainfall shower with the strong pressure was the cherry on top!

Poor TV reception. No chair in the room No shampoo available Lots of Noice ourside.

The water was super hot and had strong pressure. The room was huge and fully renovated (it looked so much newer than the hotel did on the outside) and the furniture was super comfortable. ALSO, you can hear the ocean all night long, it's absolutely gorgeous! I can't believe how little they charge in comparison to the hotels at the same price all over Baja California!

Great

We found this little place as a last minute resort to avoid waiting in the long border crossing line. It’s was very clean and secure.

Older hotel with nice essence and genuine Mexican feel. Clean rooms with ac/ heat very efficient. Great price. Note: no coffee pot or refrigerator as a heads up.

They were not able to find out reservations and made us wait 20 minutes outside in the cold while they tried to contact hotels.com cs. I showed confirmation but still wanted to wait to hear from hotels.com. Finally decided to give us the key and deal with at check out

We checked in really late and we were woken up at 4 am by 3 ladies that were talking so loud in front of our room.

Excellent service

The room was surprisingly very clean. I don't like their policy that you have to submit your room key and tv remote to the front when every times you leave the property.

MISLEADING LOCATION IT'S 2 MILES AWAY FROM BEACH. IM DISAPPOINTED HOTELS.COM ENTERTAINS SUCH BAIT-AND-SWITCH.

Great experience. Affordable. Clean. Friendly staff. On site parking. Comfortable bed. Good location.

This hotel is actually a motel that also rents rooms by the hour to prostitutes from across the street at the strip club. It is not located where they claim to be located. You CANNOT walk to Rosarito beach from here because it is very unsafe. Please do NOT stay here with women or children as it is unsafe to do so, they will be thought of as prostitutes. I had to spend additional money to stay at the actual Hotel Del Sol in Rosarito Beach, the hotel that they claim to be. Once again, the photos and the location that they [post are NOT the actual photos or the actual location.

This was a nice little hotel close to Rosarito, Popotla, and Puerto Nuevo, just perfect for a get away weekend

I could barely sleep during my stay here. At three in the morning I heard moaning and yelling which startled me and my 14 year old daughter awake. We did not enjoy this experience and will not be planning on returning here.

Muy limpio

The address you have is the wrong address to this hotel, they use the pictures of another hotel to use as there own. Had to book another hotel.

The hot water wasn't real hot..and the clean services peoples was walking around and talking loud...we really can't sleep one hour without interruption...yo recomiendo pongan su tarjeta en la aplicacion para,q el hotel respete el precio y la reservacion:)

Way Too expensive for what it is,

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Great location will definitely be back.

Paid $50 on the app, in person is $70. Kind of far from downtown, about 10 minutes but an uber charges $2 dollars so not bad. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. A good stay :)

Pay b4 you get there or they will charge u more than expedia.

Friendly , and most important clean , well sanitize, and secure safe place to be

The employees were very friendly. The bathroom was not clean. It had mold on the corners.

I liked the quiteness of the area. Didnt like that doesn't have a fridge to keep drinks cold

I like the bargain. It really needs some mayor repairs The cleanning crew do their best. But cleanimg a broken heather/ac it's not gonna make work.

Issue with the water couldn’t get hot water called they tried to fix it, something the next day called expedia they didn’t help much either

We feel comfortable there that's why we keep goin to this hotel and I like that it's not so close to all the traffic.

Extremely noisy, not good privacy because all the noises from next door i was earing, and uncomfortable bed, bad matres, really bad service.

It was for my birthday

Horrible experience going to this type of place , I was told to leave the place with no firm reason why when I had done nothing there . My guest for the second room wasn’t even allowed to go into his room . Costumer service was so bad I’d never like to stay at a place like that . People have no personality and don’t know how to assist or serve their costumers .

Couldn’t stay because they said do not accept reservation with you as provider any more they said they been calling you to take them away from Your list but you still advertising

Arrived at hotel they didn't honor this Wed site. That I payed in full. Call this web site an got transfer around on the phone for an hour. Hung up went some were else an paid with my own money. The place on Google map is the wrong location. It's not across from th el nido restaurant 2 miles down the street were there not much this is place u whant if u whant be across the street from restuarnt8 is del sol inn. This place is in the location of Baja del sol inn claiming to be .I told the web site they need to put the right info .

The girl in the front desk said the check in is only before 5pm, and that she did not have any more rooms available, and I told her we reserved online, in Expedia, and there was not specification of check in before 5pm. She said, then talk to them to give you your money back, she was rude.

Got to hotel had 2 room reserved, hotel did not honor reservations, had to pay 3 times the price in another city Playas De Tijuana. took us 3 hours to find another room.

Not bad i recomend if your on a saving budget

I went to the hotel to check in as I go to the desk the people there tell me that this is the wrong hotel at the hotel down the street is the one I was supposed to go to that they keep using the images of this hotel I don’t know if it’s true or otherwise nevertheless I won’t go to either hotel something fishy is going on here in Expedia needs to figure it out or just drop By the way this is the kind a motel the rents rooms by the hour

It was fine - we've stayed here before with decent experience for the price but have noticed that the price has gone up. Nice staff but they don't speak English and do not seem prepared for online reservations. the air conditioning in our room on this trip smelled a bit. There was barely any water pressure. The hotel is old, not sure we will stay again for the new price.

Overall it was good. I was a bit worried that it was going to be gross. But surprisingly it was clean and the service was good.

It was good the place is clean people friendly. Its my new favorite place

We did not stayed very nasty and request u not to charge any money. Thanks.

Ok People smoking in the rooms and hallways 1 cocoroch on the floor

MOTEL, not hotel. NOT family friendly. CASH ONLY if paying upon arrival vs paying on line. Walls are thin and you can hear "everything" that goes on. Roach infested, not the small kind either. Expensive for location. Would not recommend for long family stay. Keep kids away from remote of TV if you decide to stay.

This place was available on short notice during a big booked up weekend in Rosarito. 4th of July weekend we needed a place and were able to secure a room here during the last week before the trip. The room was pretty much what we expected, pretty big. Not east to find at night because there are no signs off the street. Just look for a big sign that says 250 and that is right in front. Otherwise it was right for the price and right considering the timing of the booking. Expect to pay cash, they do not accept cards of any kind. The lady in front was nice about things, make sure you have a copy of your reservation on your phone because I don't think they have a working computer that can save those things, she had to go off the information that was on my phone.

Far from everything, dirty ,old, smelly, i wish you could the the towels,,,,,, expedia chraged me 38 dls, and the motel cost 250 mx pesos around 18 dls, to stay that crapy motel i soon as i saw the motel i knew my day was ruined by the way there is a hotel named del sol inn... i tough i was reserving in that hotel. I know im not the only one that will be confused on that.what a shame

I would never go to this place!!!! They are basically using other hotels pictures on hotel.com go to booking & you'll the real hotel . They

The place is ok. Pretty clean. The only bad part is the shower. Low water pressure and temperature either cold or scalding hot.

It was in such a bad part of town that we went and got another hotel the hotel that you actually have pictures of that we thought we were staying in

Good overall. My room overlooked noisy main Street. Front desk made no attempt to speak English. TV had limited channels. Room and bed were nice. Staff was helpful.

Owner was pleasant, helpful. Other staff no. On a busy highway. Room as dark and tired.

The staff was amazing. Always willing to help and please the customer. My husband and I stayed in the room with hot tub (jacuzzi). It was comfortable and service was great. The girls there work very hard to keep our room tidy when we would head out for breakfast. Heater, fan, hair dryer, double bed, and parking is some of their features. I will be returning here. Price very accessible, only half of what the big resorts charge. Rooms are private and quiet. We loved it!
