Location was very good. Facilities like swimming pool and spa were good. Staff were congenial in general.

Was given a room that was smelling of cigarettes. Didn't provide alternatives. They said all they could do at that time was reduce the charges at the time of checkout. Finally reduced the charges by 300 INR only. It makes no sense to adjust after paying so much for the stay.

We liked the location of the resort, it was at the prime location near Fewa lake. Resort staff was helpful, the dining experience with local folk dance was very good.

The room was very old, the AC didn't have horizontal blades to adjust the air flow, the TV was not having Youtube or smart functions, the wifi in the room was very poor. The restaurant was taking more than 20-25 minutes to serve a single cup of tea. The need to improve all above mentioned issues.

Schone, ruime kamers. Mooi en schoon zwembad met erg fijne ligbedden. Heerlijk om te ontspannen na een hike! Lekker en ruim ontbijt, erg vriendelijke medewerkers!

We upgraded our room so new room in new building was very good. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room we booked in the beginning we didn’t like much (deluxe room) seems like renovation was long ago. But we didn’t upgrade so new room was good.

The staff was cooperative and well trained.

Rooms were overpriced, the shower doesn't had pressure at all , if you ask me the tarrif should be half the price i was charged.

I think there could be more service at the pool. The people were very friendly but the resort could profit more if they actively asked if you want something to drink or eat (espacially at lunch time). Just a recommondation, but furthermore out stay was perfect!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. What we liked the most was the location — it is situated away from the busy areas, offering a peaceful atmosphere. We also thoroughly enjoyed the local cultural performance program.

I found the room a bit stuffy and outdated. The lighting inside both the room and the bathroom was quite dim. Additionally, the single bed was smaller than the standard single-bed size.

The Location and the Food

There are 2 areas- the older rustic rooms ( deluxe) in the older building & the absolutely brand new fabulous luxury rooms in the new building. The older rustic room has dated bathrooms but is generally comfortable. However there are no shower curtains in the bathroom- so you invariably have a slippery wet bathroom floor which is a real risk. I would give this room only a 2 star. We requested an upgrade to the luxury room & the wonderful staff kindly accommodated when they could ( after 2 nights in the older room) The newer ( luxury ) rooms are absolutely fabulous & 5 star rating. It It’s right by the Phewa lake & it’s stunning. The delicious breakfast & the evening cultural dance & music are a delight. The staff are fantastic. Will definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

Garden huts could do with a little updating

The location was right on lakeside and close to most things. Breakfast tasted good with a mixture of eastern and western food. A highlight of the hotel is the pool. The pool was clean, good for swimming laps and good for kids.

When we arrived the hotel bathtub was not very clean. It was easily rinsed off but did not leave us wanting to take a nice bath. Thant being said the room was otherwise clean and spacious.

The food was delicious. We had nanglo thali . It was sooo soo good. The staffs were very polite and very sweet especially Rujan and smriti . The F&B supervisor was helpful too. Thank you for making our night wonderful. Will certainly visit again.

Nice swimming pool and breakfast. The balcony of the room is great. Location is good, just at the south of the lakeside, I stayed here because it’s close to the mountain at the south of the lake, I ran up to the mountain for exercise. Also you can walk to the shops in the main street. And nice environment overall.

I stayed there for two nights. The first night I booked a basic room , it was on the second floor. But there were hairs on the bed and some dust at the edge and corner of the bed. So I informed the team and they changed and upgraded the room for me. I was happy about this room and extended one more day for this upgraded room. Also, facilities need a bit improvement. There are two parts of the hotel, one is the new building, near the pool, but the other is older which is near the garden ( I lived there). overall it is a great stay

This is a hotel where I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. It's very clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need and more. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. It's located by the lake and has a balcony with lake views. The location is excellent. Every evening you have the chance to dine accompanied by Nepalese music and dances. The breakfast is also very good, with a rich menu. The price-performance ratio is very good, in fact, the performance is very high quality. I especially want to praise the hotel staff. The employees are very friendly and helpful. A big thank you to the waiters, the cleaning staff, the chef who makes wonderful omelets every morning, but especially to the hotel manager, Mr. Puran Paudel. Mr. Paudel is very polite, helpful, and finds solutions to all your needs quickly. I left the hotel very satisfied. I recommend it to everyone.

There's nothing I dislike. Everything is perfect.

The enviroment is good . The location quiet and perfect for everything . I believe there is an old building and a new one with swimming . I stayed in the old side where the rooms lacks little bit of resort peculiarity . But nothing bad just a little bit lower then i expected . Ims ure the new building is much more comfortable .

The room was a little bit old included doors and furniture . The bathroom was a bit old too and there was no place to put your personal belongings , i needed to keep it on the desk in the room. There was no water the first day and there is not refrigerator . The bathroom is very cold duo the window that can not be closed . The water need 10 minutes to cme out hot .

The locating was perfect. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was exceptional!. They were so accommodating and helpful. They provided assistance with a side trip we took to Gandruk. They also held our luggage while we were in Gandruk for a night. They went above and beyond.

It was a great experience for my whole family, and the best part is their food, live music and cultural dances. Plus it is opposite to the lake, therefore the location itself suits the ambiance. Cheers.

We were upgraded upon arrival to a poolside room and our stay was absolutely perfect from there. Warm, welcoming and efficient staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious food, freshly cooked omelettes for breakfast. Music and cultural dancing at dinner. This hotel has everything and we were very sad to leave.

Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or as a couple, Lake View Resort is the perfect choice for a rejuvenating and memorable stay. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Very good location close to the tourist's main street by the lakeside. Extremely helpful and very professional manager on the afternoon shift 23 Dec! He helped us to get one of the last night buses back to Kathmandu when our next morning flight was cancelled - organised tickets, taxi, contact person at the bus station. We only had 15 minutes to leave the hotel to catch the bus, but ended up with success. He made our stay memories enjoyable - BIG thank you! Overall hotel positive, good food service, cultural program in the evenings.

Nice rooms and good resort facilities. Well located on lakeside with short walk into main part of town to organise trekking. Far enough away too as Main Street is very busy and noisy. Fewa Lake directly across the road which was awesome as well.

Live cultural music was very loud from the resort stage area.

The location was super nice, the nice view of Fewa lake. Food taste amazing I had almost all of my meals there. Staff was very friendly , helpful. I spent my new year there. It was awesome

Beds need to be more comfortable

Only the breakfast. Breakfast is good and with lots of food varieties.

Exterior of the hotel is nice but the room is very primitive. I cannot imagine the bathroom without any hanger to hang your cloth or tower. Furthermore, no place to put your shower amenities. The room is very poor in sound and light proof. The curtain material is not light proof and imagine when the lights from outside still switched on during the midnight, this was definitely impacted your sleeping quality. We purposely change to this resort after trekking thinking to have better environment to relax and rejuvenate after the trekking. But this proved we made a very wrong decision.

Our stay at Lake View Resort was amazing. The room was very big and clean. The views were spectacular. The food was amazing and value for money. The service from staff was more than excellent, especially Rituka, Manisha, Somer, Puran, Pawan & Sanjay who al went out of their way to make our stay amazing! The location of the hotel is perfect. You can travel around Pokorah with ease and all local amenities are accessible. I would highly recommend the Lake View Resort and we will be back again.

It was a lovely, quiet location across from the river. It was only a 5 minute walk to the lake, along the river. Much preferred it here to the loud music and noise of the lake foreshore. Beds and rooms were super comfortable. They organised an early check in because rooms were available - very thankful.

La habitación estaba muy bien, amplia y muy limpia. Hay que tener en cuenta que estoy hablando de la habitación con acceso directo a la piscina que está en el edificio nuevo, porque hay otras habitaciones que están en otro edificio más antiguo que se veían desde fuera pequeñas y oscuras. La ubicación es muy buena, justo enfrente del lago Fewa. cerca de restaurantes y tiendas y desde la azotea del hotel se veía la cordillera del Himalaya (los Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri y Fish tail)

El desayuno podría mejorarse, hay poca variedad, la bollería estaba muy seca, pero comprobamos que esto ocurre en la mayoría de los hoteles de Nepal.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Good location close to the lake and main tourist shopping area with lots of bars and restaurants. Staff were great, Wi Fi worked well, plenty of hot water and air con if needed. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was terrific with lots of choice. Evening meals mostly good. Swimming pool was lovely but sadly too cold to use when we stayed. The overall ambiance of the hotel is good but there is a road between the property and the lake which we were not aware of. There is live music on the weekends and cultural shows most nights...its a popular hotel with good reason.

The rooms are in need of some repairs and decoration especially the bathrooms. For that reason we thought it a little on the expensive side.....both the room costs and the food and drink. Although there is a discount if 15% in the restaurant for guests staying.. Overall a good place to stay and we would certainly stay again.
