Pedro was so helpful and explained the history of the house as part of our visit. House was quiet, clean, steeped in history, friendly dog and cat , excellent breakfast served at the table all together.

A wee bit off the camino so had to walk into town to start camino. We arrived during the annual festival in September so no uber or taxi available. C’est la vie!

Leuke plek dicht bij stadje ponte lima. Quinta oogt beetje rommelig maar dat heeft juist zijn charme. Mooie tuin met zwembad. Aardige en gezellige gastheer.

Los jardines y la piscina, y por supuesto Pedro un buen anfitrión.

Pequeno almoço continental muito bom, o facto de se fazer uma refeição em mesa comum tornou a experiência bastante familiar e muito agradável, proporcionando uma troca de experiencias entre várias culturas

Viajo mucho y en pocos sitios me he encontrado tan bien como en este. Es muy íntimo, con muchos espacios donde cenar tranquilamente, tomar el sol y leer, descansar. Es un modo diferente de estar en casa, muy buena acogida y en un país estupendo. Calidad de diez en todo. Muchas gracias a Pedro y Daniela, han construido un paraíso muy especial y muy difícil de encontrar en ningún sitio

Quinta da Agra is a little corner of paradise, beautifully restored with lovely grounds and pool, ideal for relaxing and admiring the views or exploring, if you have curious children who love nature! Pedro is the most welcoming and charming host, who makes you feel at home with his local knowledge and generosity, nothing is too much trouble…we hope to return soon!

Es un sitio precioso, cuidado, que se nota que está hecho con mimo. Pedro es un anfitrión encantador que te hace sentir como en casa, atento y muy amable. Daniela, que trabaja en la casa ayudando a Pedro, lleva toda la vida cuidando los detalles, desde la limpieza hasta las mermeladas del desayuno. La casa está restaurada exquisitamente y rodeada de viñedos y un jardín que componen un paisaje super bonito. La piscina es muy agradable y tienen una casa especial que da servicio a esta, con un salón, servicios, toallas, gimnasio y todo lo necesario. Los desayunos son muy ricos, en una cocina centenaria muy acogedora. Hemos estado de maravilla y volveremos. Es un sitio que invita a pasar días disfrutando del arte de no hacer nada. An incredible and extraordinary property in a beautiful location. Pedro, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful, one could sense his passion for being a host and owner of this beautifully restored farm. The location is perfect, one can easily reach ponte lima and other northern destinations, and it is lile a refugee, beautifully done. The room was a large suite, huge bathroom with bathrub, the amazing exterior with heaps of places to chill and even a great pool. We want to come again as a couple, this time was to relax and do home office after a business deal in Portugal, which was also perfectly doable from here.

It could be cleaner under sinks and in corners. Apart from that perfect, 11/10

La casa es maravillosa. Una casona antigua remodelada muy bien. Los terrenos de la propiedad muy bien cuidados y unas vistas muy lindas. La alberca es lo mejor.

Durante mi estancia habia una onda de calor y evidentemente hacia calor dentro de la habitacion.

Superbe accueil du propriétaire qui nous a fait visiter son magnifique jardin ainsi que la quinta qu'il a depuis des années restaurée et maintenue dans son jus (quel boulot!). Grande chambre avec, en plus, un grand salon intérieur meublé à l'ancienne et une terrasse sous les fleurs. Très bon petit déjeuner. Et parking gratuit bien sûr.

A beautiful property.

La casa es preciosa, decorada de forma encantadora y elegante. Las vistas de los cultivos que la rodean es preciosa. Tiene piscina y es muy agradable. El desayuno es excelente: casero, abundante y muy sabroso. Incluye mermeladas caseras, bizcochos y fruta

Se echa de menos algo más de luz para leer

Pedro fue un maravilloso anfitrión, la Quinta de Agra, es una maravilla, lo tiene muy cuidado, lleno de flores y de plantas. Los desayunos con los que nos obsequiaba Pedro eran maravillosos, frutas recién cogidas de sus frutales, mermeladas hechas por ellos, y sus agradables conversaciones y recomendaciones. Mi hijo Nicolás fue feliz allí. ¡Muchas gracias por todo Pedro, ha sido un placer conocer tu Quinta! Volveremos

Estuvimos muy contentos allí, no hubo nada que no nos gustará

Un lieu exceptionnel et paisible, chambre confortable,petit déjeuner excellent et copieux, Monsieur Pedro ,un hôte bienveillant,toujours à l'écoute et disponible, amoureux de sa région qu'il connaît très bien....une parenthèse enchantée,merci beaucoup pour ce très bel endroit que vous entretenez avec passion.

Ottima accoglienza, con una breve storia sull'origine della villa. Tutto ben pulito e estremamente curato. Colazione squisita con prodotti locali e fatti in casa. Avremmo voluto stare piu giorni.

Dalle finestre entra qualche spiraglio di luce. Però credetemi, sto veramente cercando il pelo nell'uovo. Tutto ottimo!

The swiming pool

The host met us early to let us check in because we were walking the Camino and it was a very warm day so we were grateful that he accommodated our arrival. It's located on beautiful land, beautiful house. We loved the turkeys and geese.

For us, it was just a bit too far from the Camino but we managed ok.

Amazing old farmhouse from the 17th Century, beautiful restored. Our host Pedro looked after us amazingly . Great Swimmingpool , great room with direct access to a huge garden , great breakfast .. what else could you want after a day of biking .

Wasn’t as convenient to the camino as we had hoped. Also challenging to get to a restaurant unless you have a car. Taxis are not plentiful.

Pedro is great host. Farm House, garden and pool area are amazing.

A rural hotel is not a city hotel. The Quinta has a charm and host Pedro made us all feel at home. Fellow guests felt at eade and talked around a communal table and tasted his wines.

Pedro was an amazing host. His property is beautiful and well maintained. The room was clean comfortable and satisfying in all respects. We plan to visits there again some day.

Pedro, our host, met us on arrival and immediately made us feel at home in this beautiful old house which has been sympathetically restored. We were allowed to help ourselves to tea and were able to wander around the beautiful gardens and use the swimming pool. Breakfast was really delicious and included freshly baked cakes. We plan to return!

Staying at Quinta Da Agra was a very different but delightful experience. It was difficult to find (address on Hotel.com was incorrect) but we met some lovely locals who tried patiently to help us ignorant people who don't speak Spanish! Pedro's pride in his farmhouse is infectious and he is a wealth of information. We loved our stay and particularly enjoyed sitting in the quiet of the backyard in the shade of the olive tree, overlooking the fields and the swimming pool. However, there were a couple of things that slightly detracted from our experience; the bed was just a little uncomfortable and it was quite warm in the room overnight - a fan would have been nice but Pedro wasn't onsite to ask. Breakfast was good and we shared with one other couple but were told that there had been 14 people staying the night before which may have detracted from our peaceful overall experience! We would definitely stay here again, it was a unique and authentic experience and we loved it!
