La douche bouchée ce qui implique un manque de suivi de l’état de propreté du personnel. Accumulation de cheveux dans la grille d’évacuation et remontée d’odeurs a la fin d’une douche. J’ai du déboucher par manque de personnel, en repos a ce moment là.

A great spot with a nice relaxing view and friendly staff. This is the 2nd time we have stayed and its a great spot just out of Kaikoura town.

The lady who booked us in was very helpful. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The view s are amazing. Snow on the mountains as you drive in and the sea and golf course outside your bedroom door!

It backed on to rhe golf course, so the boyfriend was happy. It had great views all around.

Its a 10ish min drive in to town, but not really a problem as we already knew that

When we booked, it indicated that the cost included my child., but when we checked in to pay, the staff tried to charge extra for my child. I need to find my booking information to tell them that is wrong.

Great location on nine hole golf course

Our room had a ranch slider but no windows that could open and no air con so we had to sleep with the ranch slider open for ventilation

We had a lovely stay. Rooms were comfortable and very quiet. Slept in as the blockout curtains were too good! Great for bike riding and hiking around the area. We are not keen golfers, but for anyone who is, the course looks great and well kept.

Only a small thing, but would have preferred a small couch rather than the two chairs, but that's just our preference!

Dinner was superb. Great location.

Bedroom french doors needed net curtains so people outside cannot see in when the blackout curtains are open.

Quiet location outside Kaikoura, with lovely views across the golf course and out to the ocean. Good that they provided bowls and cutlery /toaster etc, albeit limited, for a an element of self catering if needed.

Limited facilities on site, shower over bath, room a bit small.

Absolutely amazing accommodation! The room was very spacious and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly on an extremely hot day. We really enjoyed our stay — thank you so much! Would definitely recommend.

There was nothing to like

The website is wholly embellished for something that is no better than a concrete block motel. We paid $270 for a superior king - which was 2singles pushed together. They can’t even be bothered to put a queen or king mattress on these 2 singles .. The ‘kitchenette’ is a crappy shelf over a small fridge which doesn’t fit properly. No bench or sink at all. The room was a dark hole, with in room lightening inadequate for normal requirements. We were kept waiting for 15mins at reception with no apology when she did arrive, not content with overcharging (the website quotes $199) they also wanted $20 each for any golf we may have wanted to play. When we requested to see the room first she was very ticked off and responded with a sigh and the comment ‘it’s a done deal’ - clearly not interested in customer service if any kind. The shower is a built in cubbyhole and the bath looked to be for children. The bathroom cabinet door does not close properly and the main power knob on the heater fell off when moved - so no way to regulate the temperature except the on off switch. Outdoor furniture broken 2 seater with a dirty small squab on it.

Koura Bay Golf Resort is a very quiet place inside a golf course, with a beautiful and relaxing view. The staff were warm and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Parking was easy and convenient. A great choice if you want to relax.

I don't remember nothing of unpleasure.

Beautiful situation and views. Very helpful wonderful staff. Lovely tricky 9 hole gold course. Really comfortable bed. Absolutely amazing meal in the on-site restaurant.

The restaurant wasn’t opened one of the nights we thought it was going to be. No lounging area in room, just a wee dining area, small kitchenette, and bed. Had to look out for a bit of 🦆💩 so didn’t stand in it!

The view and proximity to Kaikoura

Een prachtige locatie midden in de natuur met uitzicht over golf baan en daarachter de baai van Kaikoura. Totale stilte en rust. Slechts 10 kamers. Kosten nog moeite is gespaard qua gebruik van mooie materialen. Inrichting was zeer modern en smaakvol. Alles was nieuw en schoon. Wij kwamen hier echt tot rust.

Beautiful place. The golf field and at the same time the view from the window is gorgeous. Good room, nice bathroom. Location is outside the city but honestly I think this is a plus.

Check in process was slightly more problematic than in other hotels/stays in New Zealand. Other hotels are more elastic and more thinking of guests comfort in this matter than we experienced here. But this doesn't change the fact that we still recommend stayig here!

Quiet. Close to amenities. Comfortable for hotel/motel style accommodation. Separate larger lounge space if required. Restaurant only open on certain days during our stay. Found alternate close by - Donegals - and would highly recommend. Lovely outlook.

The location between the mountains and the coast was absolutely amazing. The staff member we saw onsite was so friendly and gave great local recommendations.

There wasn't anything to dislike really, I think some other reviewers need to realize this isn't an inner city hotel with 24hour facilities. The club offers a limited menu but the food is really good and the hours reflect the remote location.
