The refrigerator in our room was leaking water, and the bedding blanket the feathers was coming out of It. And was not comfortable at all to sleep in. Breakfast was terrible, too much grease in the bacon, and watery eggs. And also I was charged for the water bottles in my room, it being my first time staying at this hotel,I thought that it was a complements to room I did not know until I seen a $12 feet pending on my card.

No back up toilet paper or Kleenex - Kleenex was out and 1/4 roll of toilet paper when I checked in. Also the drawers kept opening throughout my stay -

Do not stay here. They do not have a good reputation with regard to treating all patrons equally. I am working on encouraging my place of employment to severe their contract with them.

This Hyatt has a wonderful location. Close to shopping, numerous restaurants, campus, golf courses and more. The property was clean, so was the room. Beds were comfortable. All the staff was great. Breakfast was included and had a good selection of items. This will be my go to place when staying in East Lansing.

Check in processing took 25 min. Therr is a parking garage and its free if they code your room key but they didnt. Rooms had stains on carpet and couches. Room was quiet though, tv didnt work. They had a breakfast which was good.

It’s ridiculous that you have to pay $10 per car to park in there parking garage over night! The breakfast was horrible also!

This hotel is a great hotel for the value. It is clean, has a small bar, pool, breakfast included and in a great location. I've stayed here quite a few times and have always had a positive experience. Their staff is friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We didn't think the room was as clean as when we had stayed at the property in the past. The sheets smelled dirty, the shower wasn't clean, and the wardrobe smelled like mold. We also had to pay for parking, which we have never done in the past.

Hotel was nice. Lobby is new. Parking is $10/d for overnight. Outdoor parking free short term. Room shows hotels age. Design is nice but the popcorn ceiling and fixtures show age. Near shopping and restaurants and EV charging.

This hotel is in a great location. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and close to the highway. The rooms are large and clean. The gym is a typical hotel gym but open 24 hours. There is a good breakfast provided (included) and also a bar with some food choices. Great lobby space too.

Bad service, pool closed entire stay and front desk as well as online customer service could not have cared in the least. Breakfast was not good at all. How can you screw up coffee to make it undrinkable? Room was falling apart with rusty bathroom door and refrigerator not working as well as doors falling off hinges. Elevator was slower than walking down the stairs.

The staff is very welcoming. Nyla and Mr. Willis were wonderful to talk with! Food, movies, shopping, and Planet Fitness all in walking distance.

Pool was closed and it wasn't mentioned on the site. And, there was no popcorn in the sundry. 😄

overnight stay to visit MSU next day. Easy access. Family friendly environment. travelled from Spain and stopped for the night heading back to Grand Rapids area after MSU visit.

We chose this property using points for an early morning soccer tournament, and the location couldn’t have been better. It’s in a newer shopping area with Sam’s Club, Walmart, plenty of restaurants, and even a Planet Fitness nearby. The area felt safe and a bit more upscale than expected. The hotel itself was very clean—noticeably nicer than several other recent Hyatt Place stays we’ve had. Everything was well-maintained, and there wasn’t any trash or signs of wear. The property overall felt tight, organized, and in great shape. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I also appreciated that we weren’t charged the $10 parking fee—I mentioned we were parking outside and it was never brought up again. We left just as breakfast was being set up, but it appeared to be the standard Hyatt breakfast offering. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would absolutely return to this location.

I came to this hotel on accident. I actually booked a different hotel and then ended up with this hotel. Thank God this hotel has exceeded every expectation I have ever had in my entire life about any hotels. I was in the Navy and I have traveled around the world and stayed in many, many, many many, many many hotels and I can tell you that this is the absolute best hotel I've ever been to!!! The staff was absolutely phenomenal! They treat you literally like family. They're kind and sweet and they listen to you and your needs. They go way beyond I don't know what you would say. Scope of practice lol for example, Willie the front receptionist everybody's friend made balloons for everybody for Easter for free. He literally gave out Easter bunnies and poodles and whatever you wanted for any guess that wanted them for free and it really made my mother's Day because she is on hospice and we spent Easter there for a week. My dog Roxy passed away while I was staying there and we had to let her go on FaceTime and it was super sad and the staff is completely like family. I would never recommend another hotel. This hotel is the best hotel in the entire world. Hands down the breakfast is absolutely amazing. The housekeeping staff is amazing. Everything is amazing. This place is run perfectly. Such a family vibe. Such a safe environment. The quality is uncomparable. The pool area is very nice and the gym is outstanding with upgraded amazing equipment. I would highly recommend this hotel to absolutely anybody for any reason anytime anywhere. They were super busy with college bowling championships and softball and there was women everywhere lol and they acted like themselves they they were still family to everybody. They were so kind and so professional and so amazing and I watched them cater to everybody's needs. The rooms are incredible. They're spacious. Their showers are great. They provide you a shampoo and conditioner and body wash that actually make you feel good! Their breakfast is incredible. They changed it up everyday too. Their eggs or the best eggs ever. You would not know it was from a hotel. This is five star food and they're coffee. I can't even go on and on and on and on and on about everything is so amazing. I would definitely stay here again and I will stay here again. And I would definitely tell all my friends to stay here again and family because this play is really treats you like you are their number one. And it shows and they work together so much like a family. It's incredible. Best hotel on Earth!

Had a beautiful room and great options for breakfast.

The pool was closed the entire time we were there they told us on three separate occasions that it would be open at a certain time and never opened the whole time we stayed.

We spent very little time in the hotel. We were only there for 1 night(arrived late in evening) and left the next morning, but the hotel was as expected for a Hyatt. Our room was the exactly the same as our room at the Hyatt in Verona, WI. Room was clean and quiet. It's right next to a mall, which we didn't have time to go check out, but definitely a bonus. Would recommend and I would stay here again.

The staff was amazing, super friendly. I feel like customer service is a thing of the past and most businesses do not care. Your staff was top notch and wanted to make sure we were happy checking in, checking out, at breakfast and when we came back from dinner.

The pool area seemed a little run down. I also felt like there was too much chlorine. My son started choking and had to get out at one point after multiple coughing fits. My eyes burned and I wasn’t even in the pool. Also the bed skirt for lack of words looked dirty on both beds. I also felt like their mattresses are ready to replace.

Staff are not helpful. My room was double booked and they charged me twice then told me to dispute the charge through my bank.

Didn’t like the one elevator being shut down in the morning while everyone is trying to leave. Ik it can’t be helped all the time but it was a horrible experience waiting 30 mins while children were riding up and down the elevators . Not to mention they told my family to take the stairs while we were standing there with a whole cart with luggage.

The people, the breakfast and the room were great.

It was very disappointing that the pool was closed for our entire stay. No apologies were made for the inconvenience, in fact, one of the staff almost considered it a joke. When traveling with children, a pool is one of the primary considerations in choosing a hotel!

My check-in process was fast and online. The parking options were great. I chose the lot, but next time, if it is snowing, I will choose the parking garage option. The room was clean. Breakfast had a lot of variety to choose from and was good. They have a restaurant, so if you don't want to go out to get dinner, you have options to stay in and eat. The staff was polite and accommodating.

The hotel was overall very clean and enjoyable. Front lobby is welcoming. Our room was inviting and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed there being a bar and restaurant on site and the complimentary breakfast offered more than the typical.

The room was nice. Hotel was clean. Staff was rude to my wife. Girl at the front desk was worried more about talking to a cowork than taking my wife coffee order rite.

Hotel was fine but be aware that there is a $10 charge for parking, not just in the garage but they are claiming that the parking lot across the street from them also belongs to them and they charge for it.

The hotel is good, but the charge for paying $10/night for parking was ridiculous, considering the hotel sits adjacent to a huge parking lot in a commercial area.

Very clean and comfortable beds. The staff were amazing! We checked in late and they were right at the front desk ready to greet us and help! The staff were so incredibly friendly!

The room was nice but the bedding was not great and the pillows were disappointing. I was told on check-in that a card I was given would let me park in a 'structure' next door and avoid the $10 charge...OR I could park in one of the few spots in the front. That is what I chose and was surprised to find a $10 a day parking charge for using ANY 'self-parking' spot....even across the street! I don't like feeling taken advantage of. I travel a lot and there are a lot of nice hotels in this price range that don't act like you are an annoyance. I won't be back.

The breakfast was warm and fresh, we saw food being replaced often, and the bar was attended to. It wasnt just doughnuts and coffee so i was super happy to see that. Beds where warm and clean, shower and bathrooms where nice. View was AMAZING.

Everyone at the Hotel is very professional and helpful. A special thank you to Ashley, Claudia, Tracy and Emily for always helping out when we needed anything. . We were always greeted when we came into the Hotel. They made our long term stay very comfortable. It is very clean and comfortable and a great location. We would recommend this Hotel to anyone!
