Good location
I was informed an excess amount was charged. But no further communication regarding refund
I love this property and its amenities , value for money !! Loved the pool villa , had a great stay with my family !
Location & staff’s service were really good .
Food options weren’t much and it was not worth for money what they were offering.
We had a wonderful stay at Xandari Pearl Beach Resort. The place is calm, green and beautifully maintained. Villa was spacious with a lovely open shower and a plunge pool that made the stay even more relaxing. Resort has its own private beach access which cleaned and peaceful. They offered many complimentary activities like kayaking and paddling in a small pond, cycling around the property, kite flying near the beach, yoga sessions in the morning and cultural programs in the evening..The restaurant served the delicious food as well.More importantly all the staffs go went above to make our stay more enjoyable and memorable.Highly Recommended.
Nothing
Had a really lovely stay here with the family. The property was great, and every staff member we came across, from the front desk to the maintenance team, was polite, friendly, and welcoming. There were plenty of activities at the resort, and we really appreciated the staff helping look after our baby while we went for a short kayaking session. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and definitely money well spent. We’d love to come back again for a few days on our next holiday.
Nothing major to complain about, but just a couple of areas that could be improved. The Wi-Fi was down on our first night and only got fixed the next day, so that’s something that could probably be checked before guests check in. The other was the food - it was decent, but for a 5-star resort we were expecting a bit more. It wasn’t bad, but just not something that really stood out for us. That said, these were only minor points and didn’t take away from what was otherwise a truly exceptional stay.
Really beautiful rustic hotel. Friendly staff and lovely rooms. Really enjoyed the quiet and calm of the resort. The pool was great too - especially for small children as it had a nice sized toddler area which they can walk about in. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Responsive to our needs. Good was delicious too. The hotel have access to the beach which is beautiful and clean. The grounds are lovely too - lots to do - feeding cattle and fish.
There could have been more choice of snacks throughout the day available to cook. And food preparation times were quite slow.
What a beautiful and special place! We LOVED our stay, the rooms, facilities, and staff were all incredible! A special mention to: Chef - Kishor Manager - Chandralekha Waiter staff - Vishanth / Firoz Dr - Seethal Therapist - Agnes/ Sharanya / Jordhin! Each of these people truly looked after us and made sure our stay was incredible!
Everything was perfect!
The layer out of the villas, the quietness, the nature and the location. And not to forget the staff who makes the place a heaven on hearth , Angel (waiter) Grace (gardener) stood out 🙏🙏
Honestly I couldn’t find anything wrong with the property. Just take those plastic covers on top of the restaurant roof away , they spoil the beauty of the building
Property location. Overall look and feel of the resort.
Food is just average or below. Seafood is frozen and not fresh according to the Head Chef. Not something one would expect at a beach resort.
Lovely garden and restaurant area, nice food, friendly staff and atmosphere. Rooms are in attractive separate villas, spacious and well-equipped. Open air bathrooms but plenty of mosquito sticks provided to keep the mosquitoes away (which worked). The beach is a couple of 100 metres along a grassy path and is beautiful and largely empty.
There was very little beach seating. More comfortable seating and sun loungers on the beach would have been welcome. The villas are all enclosed within a walled off garden, which makes them very private but also no view from the room.
The resort is a stone throw away from the beach. Beach is clean and well maintained sandy beach. Resort itself is is very well maintained and great ambience in the middle of greenery and well maintained gardens. Kids had lot of fun doing palm leaf crafts , cycling , kayak and paddle boating. The kite flying in the beach kept them engaged. The common swimming pool was very clean and great for the kids. They really enjoyed it. Food was great. Chef personally greeted us to understand our preferences as we are vegetarians. He tried to accomodate as much as possible. Breakfast was brilliant as well with local food to continental. Staff were very courteous and helpful and kept good care ofnthe guests. Overall a great experience and we would definitely love to visit again in future.
Option for vegetarian food could have been better. But they clearly explained that this is because of the contingency measures taken due to LPG shortage as a result of the war.
This is an outstanding place to stay. We absolutely loved it. Everything is wonderful - the lovely staff, the relaxing and beautiful resort, the access to a very clean beach which is good to relax on with sea safe to swim in, really great food and beautiful villas to wake up in. We will be back and will stay for longer than 2 nights next time!
Nothing
Small luxurious resort set in beautiful gardens with access to clean beach. Very close to Kochi airport. Fabulous, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food and cocktails. Private plunge pool in villa a big bonus.

The service was excellent. Gorgeous location and great food.!
Mattresses. Soft and lumpy.
I cant praise this place enough. The staff are amazing. The rooms are huge and our own pool was an added bonus. The outisde bathrooms are really private and worked very well. The grounds and shared pool are stunning with copious butterflies stunning plants and birdlife. The beach is unspoilt and very quiet. The food was amazing. Plenty of à la carte choices as well as a nightly buffet. Daily tea and snacks are a lovely touch. The massage and facials are excellent and half hour treatments are offered at a very reasonable price. A perfect place to relax by the beach after hectic travelling
The only thing was that it may have been better to have yoga a little later than 7 but i suppose it would be too hot to have it later
The food was exceptional
The room decor. Large enough but with one chair! Very basic and the concrete base for the mattress spoiled the stay
Resort with amazing tropical gardens, birds and butterflies everywhere. Beautiful villas with original design, well furnisched and cofortable. Attentive staff members, excellent food and early morning yoga classes very relaxing. We loved it.
Nothing
Beautiful hotel. The grounds are a haven of tropical plants, butterflies and numerous birds. The staff cannot so enough for you. We loved it!
Nothing.
Great location and very nice staff. Villa is very spacious
Food can be better
Very cooperative staff
Very few selections of food
Prompt Courteous Services from front office to watchmen.
Not much not to like.
Love the property and the villas were the best! The pool, the sit out was absolutely perfect!
Na
Great resort, attentive staff, excellent food. Unique rooms with outdoor showers and private backyard
The beach was not clean. Lots of stray dogs and trash. Locals milling about and leaving trash behind. Barely any chairs provided, no umbrellas provided. The stray dogs really ruined the beach experience, some were aggressive.
“My three days in Alleppey, Kerala were simply magical. The hotel gave me not just comfort but a feeling of warmth and care that touched my heart. Everything was peaceful, beautiful, and full of gentle energy – the perfect place to rest deeply and feel embraced by nature. The staff’s kindness made me feel truly welcome. I left with a heart full of gratitude and beautiful memories, and I know I will return.”
We loved everything , their service , the food , the pool , the beach and everything else. Personally , it was one of the most best resorts ever. They have very good breakfast and can get fresh vegetables and plants too. Best service from all people.
Nothing, everything was super.
Loved the ambience and the facilities that were provided.
Food was expensive
Everything about this property is lovely, I am unofficially marketing about this property as me and my family really felt welcomed. The staff is lovely, always smiling and pleasant. Really felt relaxed and looked after!!
There’s nothing to not like about this property. One of the best place in the world to spend time with your loved one’s
Location is very good. Access to the beach is wonderful. Received good service from staff.
Mosquitoes 😊
Beautiful resort
Few issues with making payment. And with air-conditioning over night
The property was lovely with many activities, especially to keep the kids busy.
Good food worth the wait, they understand your needs and are resposive , they provided a buggy and wheel chair for my mother who had operated both her knees and we were able to take her around wherever we went around the property,. we literally explored all the featers of xandari, starting from yoga at the beach, kite flying, watering the organic garden, , cycling, massage at the spa, volley ball, visit to their dairy farm, paddle boating & kayaking at their pond and watching the sunset at the beach .it was an wonderful experience. wishing the entire team at xandari the very best!
The hotel has a beautiful garden, which is lovingly and extensively maintained every day. The swimming pool is very nice and there are many and comfortable sunbed at the pool. The food in the hotel is very tasty and the rooms are very large and spacious. There is free tea/coffee and a snack at the pool every day. The staff are friendly.
The beach is public and the hotel does not provide sunbeds, only 4 camping chairs with parasols - a pity for a beach hotel. The waves are very strong - this should be better signposted by the hotel. The hotel's live guard sits far away from the sea and you have to be very careful when swimming in the sea. The staff were very friendly, but there were regularly 4 service staff standing together in a group and chatting, so that if, for example, a fork was missing or you wanted a refill of water, you had to wait a very long time and gesticulate wildly until someone responded at all, which should not be the case in an, by Indian standards, very expensive hotel. The prices for alcohol are considerable, and you pay about three times the price for a beer in the hotel complex as you would if you could enjoy it in a local beach restaurant with much more attentive service. The hotel once lent us 5 euros in cash from its till to pay the tuk tuk driver and insisted that we pay this amount back in cash on departure. From a hotel of this class, you would expect the hotel to be able to add such a ridiculous amount to the hotel bill. However, this was not possible. Massage took 45 instead of paid 60 minutes. Yoga only at 7am, teacher does not participate herself, but only talks to guests. What disappointed us the most, was that the hotel did not let our Uber driver in the hotel area when we left, but had him wait on the street outside the gate. We were approached by a very aggressive, wildly talking alleged taxi driver who claimed that Uber was illegal in Kerala and that we had to travel to the airport with him for double the price. We found the situation extremely unpleasant and went back to the hotel to ask for help. We were not offered any assistance and the hotel staff remained passive. This is particularly disappointing as we had already read the identical scenario in another booking review and the hotel promised not to let such a scenario happen again.
Peaceful
Uneven walking path.
The plunge pool room was good.
Not much activities were there. Only beach.
The serenity, the location next to the beach, the pool area (that was kind of empty), the food (although it differed between room service and in the restaurant ), the outdoor shower, the staff
The spa (had a very mediocre massage and very low standard face treatment), the open bodies of waters brings a lot of mosquitoes (not the fault of the hotel), room service
great breakfast choices and lovely place to sit outside, near garden; very relaxing
nothing really!
Excellent ambience, private beach access was a highlight
Plunge pool and Ayurvedic spa had truly rejuvenated both body and mind
Thoroughly enjoyed the room
Can have some more quality for food. Options are enough.
swimming pool and activities timings conflict with each other.not able to engage in all due to timings.
The resort is very beautiful . It is very peaceful and calm. Very beautiful views.
Complimentary Breakfast was average. But if you order the food was good.
Beautiful calm place to relax
Restaurant and Staff.
Sports Facilities
The hotel was excellent! Clean, eco friendly, staff very polite, and wonderful location. We wish we could stayed longer. We had yoga class in the morning, massage and breakfast, then we had to go to our next destination. Check in could have been a little faster.
Loved the room, it was very spacious and comfortable. Spent most of our stay there. Had a great time with friends. The herb garden was very lovely, enjoyed the property. Pleasant staff.
Water in the pools was very warm, didn’t feel refreshing. We were asked to walk around with our card and pay for everything as we went due to their financial year end. Following day as we were due to celebrate, found alcohol wasn’t allowed on that day only. None communicated to us ahead of time. River in the middle of the property full of rubbish.
Good location in close proximity to the beach. Good grounds
The rooms were very tired looking. The air conditioning was very inefficient in the room. Restaurant and bar poorly stocked. Inadequate WiFi. The food was well prepared but almost always cold on arrival.
Breakfast was great. Dinner and lunch options were dull. For dinner buffet was more encouraged than providing other options.
They didn’t have traditional South Indian filter coffee instead was served instant coffee. Limited two devices for the WiFi connection.
Everything was wonderful
They nearly ran out of beer
Xandari Pearl at Maraari is a gem of a place. We are a family of 4 and stayed for 2 nights during October, 2023. Beautiful and well-blended with the natural habitat, extremely clean with large open areas, the resort is the perfect place for a peaceful vacation. Cottages are very good and spacious, the staff behaviour stands out for their courtesy, and positive energy. They have a small natural lake inside the property, where we tried paddle boats and kayaking. Another surprise was the food on offer. All the meals were excellent, tasty. Try out their salads, yum. Kudos to the chef and the kitchen team. The beach access is a pleasant add-on. I would definitely go back for more.
Nothing much to complain about. The cycles on offer were a bit run down, especially the kids ones. If that can be taken care, would be great.
Good spread. Nice taste
Nothing really
Great rooms, lovely staff, well maintained. Free yoga with Jessy :-)
A bit quiet
Loved the rustic vibe, food from the restaurant is the best ever- the fish curry is so delicious. Staff are so humble, friendly and lovely. The plunge pool within the villa is well maintained. There is a cattle farm, veggie garden, play area and bikes within the property, kids will love it! Private beach access is perfect!
The room lacks character, it’s massive and sort of empty but it’s no problem. The real let down is the lack of branded toiletries and bed sheets in the room. For a premium hotel with steep prices, you would expect that they would supply some good quality toiletries, premium bed sheets and pillow cases. Sheets were yellow and not fresh smelling.
We stayed four nights at Xandari and really enjoyed the tranquil environment. Rooms very comfortable with nice outdoor shower. Very good experience with Shimla and his team at the restaurant. The spa was very nice, too.
We called an Uber to leave the hotel. Upon arriving, the hotel’s gate keeper would not open for our car. Within moments a taxi approached and the driver started intimidating us claiming that Uber was illegal in the area and would not let us board the vehicle. We used Uber all over India, including Kerala, and did not have similar issues before. We explained that we can take any vehicle of our choice and that we prefer Uber for its safety features. The driver would not let go, and the hotel security guard remained inactive. The situation felt very intimidating and threatening and there was zero support from the hotel staff. We asked the uber driver to cancel the trip since the situation felt very unsafe and intimidating. Shame that this hotel colludes with the local taxi mafia and doesn’t have its backyard under control. This incidence killed the otherwise pleasant experience.
Really awesome
Neat and Clean and staff’s attitude is really appreciated
Easily one of the best rooms i have ever stayed in. Very spacious and amazing comfort. Food was good. The sell out factor was the proximity to the beach and safe to say we had a wonderful experience at the beach. The roofless bathrooms are underrated, calming.
The common bathroom near the swimming pool was not maintained well and it was mood killer when we visited as that was the first thing we entered even before going into our rooms. A mouse came into our bathroom during the visit but the staff were able to remove.
The stay was lovely, the staffs were very courteous. The facilities exceeded our expectations. The place was well-kept and stocked.
Some more options for Non-veg, otherwise no complaints.
private pool villa has good privacy
staff response could be improved when requesting for facilities
