If you want to rest, relax, enjoy nature, ayurveda treatments, this is the right place. The property is beautiful, the people very nice and helpful, always there is you need something. I loved the food in the restaurant, the care for every single guest. Special thanks to the manager, Vinish, which helped with everything I needed, special thanks to Vismaya and the team in the ayurveda team.

Il mio soggiorno è stato purtroppo breve, solo una notte, ma sufficiente per capire che questo luogo merita una permanenza più lunga. Il resort è immerso in un autentico giardino botanico, con fattoria e orto da cui provengono i prodotti utilizzati in cucina. C’è persino un incantevole giardino delle farfalle. La spiaggia è meravigliosa: al mattino appare incontaminata e deserta, mentre al tramonto si anima di persone, restando comunque piacevole e sicura grazie alla presenza del guardaspiaggia. Il ristorante è eccellente: se si chiede di evitare spezie e peperoncino, riescono davvero a preparare piatti delicati e gustosi. Il pesce è freschissimo e cucinato alla perfezione. Lo staff è di una gentilezza rara, ben oltre gli standard abituali. Nel complesso, il miglior posto in cui ho soggiornato in India: natura, comfort e ospitalità si fondono in un’esperienza indimenticabile. ---------- My stay was unfortunately short, just one night, but enough to realize that this place truly deserves a longer visit. The resort is set in a beautiful botanical garden, complete with a farm and a vegetable garden that supplies the kitchen. There is even a charming butterfly garden. The beach is stunning: in the morning it feels pristine and deserted, while at sunset it becomes livelier yet remains pleasant and safe thanks to the lifeguard on duty. The restaurant is excellent: if you ask for no spices and no chili, they really manage to prepare tasty dishes without them. The fish is fresh and perfectly cooked. The staff is exceptionally kind, far beyond the usual standards. Overall, the best place I have stayed in India: nature, comfort, and hospitality come together in an unforgettable experience.

Beautiful Beachfront location but with easy access to Tuk Tuks for exploring. We stayed in a gorgeous pool villa which was private and great for relaxing. Restaurant was gorgeous and really good value for money.

No bar however 5minute Tuk Tuk ride to a local store. Fridge in room kept it cool.

The greenery and the surroundings

A huge thank you to the team for their amazing personal attitude and for being there for us every step of the way! If you want special and personal treatment, this is the place—they treat you like royalty and make you feel right at home. We also want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for allowing an early check-in before 2:00 PM and for the lovely compliments/treats they prepared for us. I recommend this resort with both hands up for anyone wanting to disconnect and feel the purity, freedom, and tranquility of Kerala. It’s a wonderful place for families! The villas are super cozy, and the tree in the bathroom that gets watered by the rain is such a cool and unique touch. The food in the restaurant was absolutely fantastic; we enjoyed every single meal. Even though we visited during the monsoons, swimming in the pool was a great experience. We also tried the Ayurveda massages—the therapists are top-level, and we believe they did a top-notch job. We would definitely visit this place again!

There is absolutely nothing to dislike! Everything was perfect and we enjoyed every single moment of our stay.

The stay was excellent. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom amenities were well-stocked and replenished generously. The staff were friendly, attentive, and responded promptly whenever we needed assistance. The food was exceptional, especially the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety of delicious options. The beach was clean and well-maintained, and having a lifeguard on duty at all times made us feel safe and relaxed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this place.

The staff went above beyond especially the reception and restaurant team. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so welcome.

The bathrooms are part open air which took a bit of getting use to but it added to the natural charm of the property.

Time frame

A lovely quiet getaway after travelling the rest of Kerala and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed the peace of the beach, the beautiful gardens and hotel surroundings. The children particularly enjoyed the pool, and seeing the animals around the gardens, the fish in the ponds etc. We ate in the restaurant for dinner, though each meal can take up to 30 mins to come, the result was always worth the wait. Each dish is cooked freshly for you and is delicious, with both western and local plates available. We can’t fault the service here either; staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

Villa with private pool was very good. Very close to the beach. Kids enjoyed the swings and badminton court.

The evening snack bar can be more lively and include a bit more options to choose. Tea was good.

Set in a beautiful location, we booked a pool villa. Totally worth the money.

1. Room was not ready for check in when I arrived . 2. I asked the staff for a simple surprise welcome for my child celebrating his bday. I was expecting a property like this to provide a complimentary pastry and maybe a card. But they called me and convinced me to buy a 1/2kg cake , and had it in my room, with no decor, and nothing else done. I could have bought a much better cake and gone to my room bcoz the whole point was to have a small celebration. 3. Restaurant is really overpriced . You have a great property, but the staff need better training and professional training . I wouldn’t recommend this property just bcoz it service

Staff were polite. Location is prime and the private beach is easily accessible.

Cleanliness is subpar. Doesn't live up to the 4 star rating or the big name. Hospitality can be better.

Resort in charge Ratheesh and Thomas was very receptive . They kept on checking whether we require any support. They took care of us well. Staff at restaurant were also really good .

Amazing customer service by Vinis and his team…they took care of everything that was required for our stay.

fantastic service start to end of holidays. The called to check in on our arrival ETA on the day, the local dishes were very good. some of the north indian curries which we requested lower spice for kids was sweet which didnt feel authentic but was enjoyed by child. we exclusively ate at restaurant during our 5 night stay and were happy with quality of food . room service was generally good. we went shopping for local stuff like sari, spices etc and boat tide through hotel - these were very good recommendations and not expensive- in fact the hotel provided better options than ones on viator,etc. spa is incredible, doctor and masseuse were great. I tried shirodhara treatment and cant recommend it enough - had best sleep in a long time. my child enjoyed checking out the cows, veg garden. property is well maintained and staff is regularly seen cleaning the property - the staff is very kind, many offered us fruits from the trees. The beach is tranquil, parts of beach is dirty but overall quite clean . the sea is rough, although we are good swimmers we didnt dare to venture in. there were some that went in . lifeguard is fabulous - was stood right at the beach entire evening keeping a watchful eye. restaurant staff is also very kind and helpful. we will be back. A special shoutout to Nicy and the other gentleman at reception who checked us in- they were ever so helpful with our queries and getting our outings organised.

Dinner starts at 7:30 pm which was late for our 4.5 YO . I wished for a gym as sometimes the weather was brutally humid to step out

Stay was really comfortable. Very neat and tidy rooms. Private beach and vast green lush of the property was awesome. Food was really tasty yummy 😋. Service and staff were really superb.

The quality of service was truly excellent. Special thanks go to the kind and diligent receptionist, Augustine the attentive lifeguard, the knowledgeable therapist at the spa and many others! You give Abad Turtle Beach real character and make your guests feel welcome. The room was large and comfortable. The food and drink was exceptional throughout the entire stay. Sunset on the beach itself is a spectacular experience that simply cannot be missed! I'd recommend the resort's other locations including the tranquil butterfly garden. Plenty of activities were on offer, both around the resort and in the vicinity. The entire visit to Abad Turtle Beach was a pure delight.

We had a wonderful stay at Abad Turtle Beach Resort in Kerala. The resort is beautifully spread out in a lush park-like setting and offers direct access to a private beach, making it a perfect place to relax. The staff provided exceptional service and were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the Indian cuisine was excellent, and we truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.

Abad Turtle is a well-maintained property where I was able to experience authentic Keralan culture. The main attractions are the private beach, the clean and spacious pool, and the pleasant, approachable staff. The cottages offer great privacy from other guests. The grounds are vast and quiet, providing many ways to connect with nature. I felt completely relaxed and stress-free, enjoying a wonderful and memorable time with my family.

We stayed at this beautiful property for a quick one-day staycation, and it turned out to be an absolutely delightful experience 🌿✨ The rooms and overall property are clean, well-maintained, and truly charming. The villa-style rooms reflect authentic Kerala architecture🏡🌴 What we loved the most was the serene natural environment,lush greenery everywhere, a cattle farm, birds, butterfly park and plenty of mango trees with ripe mangoes hanging around 🥭🐄🐦 It felt peaceful and refreshing, perfect for families looking to unwind in nature. Each room also has a swing, which was such a lovely addition to relax and enjoy the surroundings 🌼 For activities, there’s a badminton court if you feel like playing, and a well-maintained swimming pool to cool off 🏸🏊‍♀️ The highlight of the stay was definitely the private beach 🌊❤️ Open from 6:30 AM to 7 PM, it felt incredibly exclusive since we mostly had it to ourselves. It’s also very safe, with a lifeguard present, making it ideal even for families. Coming to the food — both breakfast and dinner were complimentary, which was a great bonus 🍽️ The spread had a decent variety and everything tasted good. A special mention to the staff 🙌 they were incredibly warm, welcoming, and hospitable. Everyone randomly came and spoke to us. Their genuine smiles and kindness made us feel right at home. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful getaway 🌟 Only one small suggestion: The check-in/check-out timing is 2 PM to 11 AM. It would be even better if it could be extended to a 24-hour slot (2 PM to 2 PM) and include lunch as well.

Where do I start! This was an amazing resort which was made special by all the staff - from housekeeping to management. We cannot fault the exceptional high standards received. Rooms and facilities were clean and had everything we needed. Nicey the customer relations manager was absolutely amazing- she made our stay perfect in every way. She attended to our requests without hesitation and always with smile. Subesh and his team in the restaurant were awesome. Again service with a smile and always ensuring he made restaurant experience wonderful. The food was fantastic everyday and we ended up eating here every day. Augustine the life guard was attentive every time we visited the beach. He made us feel safe and taken care of. The resort is well suited for children with many activities on offer

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Abad Turtle Beach Resort. The resort is beautiful, Nicy and all the staff, including the front of house reception, restaurant, gardeners, housekeeping, and security staff are all amazing, lovely, friendly people, with big smiles and warm hearts, and the food was delicious. Thank you all so much for our stay. It's our first time in Kerala and id definately stay again the next time I visit. My 2 friends and my mother loved it too. Thanks again to Nicy and the whole team.

Our favourite thing about this place was the location. It’s close to a whole lot of small lovely little places to eat on the beach and obviously to the beach itself. It’s not too far from the madness of the town and backwater boats but quiet. Staff are all lovely and have that personal touch. The villas are dotted around the property in a pleasing and aesthetically appealing way. The rooms themselves are pretty basic but fine. It’s a great place for a gentle beach holiday. Also it’s quite a nice pool and pool area and the food in the restaurant is good. Delicious masala dosas for breakfast.

It would be great if they provided beach umbrellas to go with the lounge chairs on the beach. The plumbing in our bathroom was a bit smelly. When we told them they put something nice smelling in the bathroom room and that really helped. By the time we were leaving the smell was back and Im sure they would have given us the same again. Maybe it’s all they can do.

Struttura molto curata con uno splendido giardino tropicale che affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia. Immerso nel silenzio e nella tranquillità è il posto ideale per rilassarsi. Si possono fare ottimi massaggi ayurvedici. Ottimo anche il livello del cibo servito nel ristorante a prezzi molto competitivi. Le stanze sono grandi e accoglienti e i letti comodi.

La pulizia è buona per gli standard indiani ma con un pochino più di attenzione ai particolari potrebbe migliorare ulteriormente.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The property led directly onto the beach. There was spa treatment available at the property.

We were met at reception by Nicey we were only staying for one day and she and her colleagues made us feel very welcome. They took on board and facilitated any concerns we had and provided us with all the relevant information needed for us to enjoy our stay in a clear and professional manner. One is surrounded by nature with well maintained grounds. Staff are friendly and courteous. The out door pool is lovely over looking a place where egrets hang out. The beach location is fabulous. We had the beach chalet overlooking the beach it was lovely.

Quality of food for buffet and breakfast could be be improved.
