Au Coeur de Magog B&B

The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Location was great for cycling and walking to dinner and shopping. Nathalie was very accommodating. An added bonus was the electric car charging!

Ratings for this property were inaccurate. Property is on a busy street with lots of noise. This property was so disappointing that we left 20 minutes after arriving and went to a downtown hotel that was excellent. It was the last stay of an otherwise enjoyable trip.

Loved our two bedroom suite with our own bathroom as well as a living room to watch tv and/or have coffee in! Breakfast was amazing!! 3 course, very filling and delicious! I would definitely recommend this place! Natalie is a gem of a host!!

I can be skeptical of 5 star ratings, but this is it. The owners are so nice. The breakfasts were so good. The town is very walkable and has some really nice restaurants. Stay here if you can.

We had a wonderful stay at Au Coeur de Magog B&B. We booked the Memphre Suite, and it was the perfect size for our group of four. The suite was so cozy, the rooms/beds were very comfortable, and there was a great family room for our wine/cheese/game night. Breakfast in the morning was thoughtful and delicious. We will absolutely return in the future!

Best breakfast I’ve had in years all three mornings

Bonjour, Je recommande grandement ce gîte. Les hôtes sont très gentils, le déjeuné est délicieux, le parking est facile d’accès, beaucoup de restaurants sont à 5 minutes a pied. Le gîte est propre (même la salle de bain ☺️). Pour toutes ces raisons… qu’attendez-vous? Allez-y!

Perfect place to stay. Our room was quiet, clean more than comfortable. Proprietors could not have made us feel more welcomed. Breakfast was simply amazing. Highly recommend staying.

Beauté de la maison, Avions l'impression que nous avions un appartement juste à nous avec une porte d'entrée directe sur L'extérieur. Ce dit appartement est coquet et chaleureux, divisé en petites pièces: Chambre à coucher, petit salon, bloc d'entrée et salle de bain. Nous n,avions pas l'impression d'être tout simplement dans une chambre d'hôtel.

Both Nicole and Michel were great hosts. Their 5-course breakfast was amazing! Loved the rooms and the interior was very comfortable. Spacious terrasse for outdoor dining, covered in case of rain. Would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a get-a-way! Julia and Tom

Et que dire du déjeuner 5 services. préparés par Michel et servi par Nicole. Nous avions l'impression d'être à la maison avec services inclus. Nous recommandons fortement ce B & B.

Very accommodating hosts that have adapted well to the Covid sanitary requirements. The outside door of our Magog suite was handy, the room super-clean and quiet, the bedding was sumptuous and the 5-course breakfast was over the top. Bravo!

I have been in many hotels around the world for my business trips and for leisure, but this was my first time experience with B&B. This place has full set of amenities that is on par with the top hotels, both chains like Hilton and Marriott, and even on par with boutique hotels I have experienced. And all this in a very warm and comfortable room with a lot of personal touch which make the experience unmatched by any hotel. I liked spacious king-size bed, large chest of drawers, comfortable armchairs. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was really exceptional. Free and convenient parking was very helpful. And now the main attraction - the Breakfast! I have enjoyed every bit of 5 course (!) breakfast for 2 days, and I must say that chef's skills of Michel are over all expectations. It was culinary feast and it made significant part in my feeling of rest and joy that filled both days I stayed in Au Couer de Magog. It is no doubt I will try to stay with Nicole and Michel whenever I will decide to visit Magog again.

We rarely stay in B&B but after this one, we will try more.

Clean comfortable room, thoughtful amenities. Top-notch breakfast and hospitality. Highly professional and highly friendly, wouldn’t hesitate to return.

It was lovely to sit on our own private front porch and watch the wedding comings and goings at the church across the street. The B+B is well placed for walking to restaurants, cycling paths by the lake, etc. Nicole was super helpful, And breakfast was delicious!

I stayed there with a few friends for an overnight trip in March. The owners are very nice and friendly, and breakfast was amazing! It's within easy walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants, stores. The room was very comfortable and clean. I absolutely recommend this place.

It was very clean. Private entrance and bathroom. Filling 5 course breakfast pleasantly and artistically prepared. Friendliness of hosts.

Our stay was short but we appreciated the care and attention displayed in this BandB. Easy to find, parking available, wifi, lovely town, and , best of all, an amazing breakfast. Would recommend this place without reservation.

Everything about our stay with Michel and Nicole exceeded our expecatations. The room was clean and comfortable. The location near to the lake and the old town was brilliant and the breakfasts were superb. Both Michel and Nicole were very friendly and happy to share local knowledge and places to visit. We felt really and personally looked after.

We only stayed for one night, and it was a wonderful experience. The room has its own separate entrance, and is well equipped inside. It has many little touches that reflect the owner’s thoughtfulness. The 5 course breakfast is super delicious- it could easily cost $20 at a restaurant. Definitely recommend this BnB!

Our hosts, Nicole and Michel, were very welcoming and their facilities were very nice. We stayed in the Magog room, which was cozy and extremely clean! The highlight of our visit was the delightful breakfast from Chef Michel. The 5 course breakfast included a local cheese selection, muffins, fresh fruits, yogurt, berries and granola, French toast (eggs cooked perfectly to order for my husband) and a tasty mousse to finish. We doubt we will ever see a more beautifully plated or more delicious breakfast in all our travels.

Walk to the beach. Very central to city center. The breakfast as amazing.

Nicole and Michel were warm, welcoming hosts. Our room was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was outstanding. Michel is clearly a very talented chef and we enjoyed all six courses very much. We plan to return on our next trip to Magog and will recommend Au Coeur de Magog to our family and friends!

After many years travelling in N. America and Europe.. at Au Coeur has by far the best B&B breakfast we have ever experienced! Room may be a little small for some but the attention to detail more than makes up for it.

Hotel staff was great and breakfast were amazing and made by a chef. The were also able to make delicious gluten free breakfast for me. The entrance to our room was private which was nice. Overall a fantastic value, close to everything. Thank you.

I was greeted warmly and shown to my room. Nicole assisted me with restaurant ideas and invited me for breakfast anytime after 8am. My breakfast was wonderful. The food and conversation could have kept me there all day. I told them about my concerns with the street light keeping the room so bright and they were grateful for my telling them and it was going to be addressed. I will stay there again no doubt.

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. Found it cozy and in walking distance to shopping and site seeing places. They spoke English The beds were comfortable. The big breakfast was delicious starting with a smoothy and muffin. We chose bacon and eggs cooked how we wanted them. Plenty of coffee. The host and hostess were very friendly The entrance to our rooms was private from outside. They provide bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, umbrellas, bottled water, coffee/tea maker, fridge, TV , wifi. magazines, travel information. We had 2 bedrooms and a livingroom and private bathroom. Some of the restaurants give a 10% discount for staying there. In the summer they have a spa.

Very cozy suite. Walking distance to shopping, things to see such as a marsh and beach. We enjoyed ourselves just relaxing in our rooms with a livingroom, WIFI, TV. Very clean. Breakfast was delicious--choice of how you wanted your eggs cooked. bacon and attractive arrangement of fruit. Very filling breakfast! We enjoyed the antique décor and atmosphere. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We did not use the bar-b-que, but was available for other meals with an outside terrace. Found it quite quiet so close to middle of town. We hope to go there again sometime.

A charming little B&B. Each room has it's own private entrance. The proprietors are equally charming. We instantly became friends! Everyone has breakfast together in the dining room, and you are given 3 choices: omellette, frenchtoast or eggs, fresh juice and plenty of coffee. Each breakfast is complemented with fresh fruit and vegetables also. While your breakfast is being cooked right in front of you, you are offered homemade fruitbread with your coffee. My roon was nice with wifi and satellite tv. The main street of the village of Magog is one block away. It has many choices for dining and shopping. The lake is a very shortvwalk also, just stunning!

We have been many times in Magog, in hotels, motels, this time we decided to try a B&B and we loved it. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was first class and the room was a dream. The little details that made the stay wonderful. We will be going there again that is for sure.

Christiane was so nice and went out of her way to provide champagne, a rose and chocolate for our room when I told her it was our anniversary and I wanted to surprise my wife with this in the room. She just added the extra cost to our invoice; it was easy and more romantic. The room was super comfy, and every room has its OWN INDEPENDANT ENTRANCE, so we liked this idea of not sharing a bathroom or worried about coming in late or whatever. Breakfast was fantastic!

This b&b is definitely a secret treasure! Each room has individual access, so no stomping through someone's hallway to go for a 5am stroll. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Don't expect the decor of the Hyatt - this is cosy, warm stuff your mom has in her house. The location was absolutely perfect. We could walk anywhere within the town. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so so lovely. We are keeping this one in out back pockets for future visits!
