Same dirty sheets daily even after we stripped the bed. Sewer gases gurgling into bathroom and no response from 'maintenance' kid. Horrible wifi that cut out often every day. No lights in hall some nights, didnt get 'full breakfast' as listed.

The hotel was nice in a convenient area. It was right on the ocean and had an incredible view from the room and common areas.

Stay was great except that in can get too crowded and hard to relax. Food service takes longer as they accept walk ins and diners. Very nice resort perfect for photos. Breakfast buffet has a lot of options. I’d still recommend this resort but maybe pick a better location your room

Though located on the main circumferential road it’s in a great spot, with a good view of Bohol sea and panglao. The dining was great. Sea views from pools and surrounding area are great for relaxing.

We chose this hotel because of the pictures, but in reality, it was very disappointing. The rooms were spacious but had a strong musty smell. We asked to change rooms, and while the smell was less intense, there was no water pressure, and the water barely trickled from the showerhead. The entire hotel was dirty, a big poorly managed building. The breakfast was the same story – if you arrived early, you could eat, but by 7:45 AM, there was almost nothing left. Tea wasn’t even served. We booked this place thinking it would be more convenient for excursions in the northern part of the island, but in reality, they can be easily arranged from anywhere on the island. I absolutely do not recommend it.

This hotel was a complete disappointment. The room was nothing like the pictures online, and when we arrived, we were horrified to find many huge lizards in the hotel. Suprisingly, I have not seen any one mention this in the review, which makes me wonder if all the positive comments are fake. The smell of pesticide was so overpowering that we couldn’t sleep at all, it felt like being trapped in a chemical cloud. We expected a relaxing stay, but instead, we had an uncomfortable and unsettling experience. Definitely the worst hotel I have ever booked. I decided to go to another hotel, but this one refused to give me a refund. However, it was definitely better to leave and lose the money rather than sleep in this horrible hotel.

The family room is nice especially if there’s 4 or more people . Make sure you get the one with 4 beds as they made mistake assigning us to the room with only 2 beds. It’s good it was not too late to rectify as the original room I booked was still available. There is no water except for few drops the night before we left until our day of departure. My friends and I did not have any shower , even the toilet won’t flush! We reported it but they could not do anything to fix the problem.

Good hotel to stay some days. Very kindly people working there. We had a deluxe room with seaview, and loved it, with our big terrace looking out over the sea and the Blood Compact Shrine that is next to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and the 2 swimming pools with loungers. are lovely. Breakfast is sufficient. Some more choices would be fine. We had a great Christmas party at the hotel, with free drinks and food. Thank you so much. The hotel arranged our trip to the Chocolate Mountains, the Loboc River, the Tarsiers, the hanging bridges, the man-made forest and the Baclayon church, and it was good. We went with tuktuk. In the environment are not much shops and restaurants. Chido Café is close tot the hotel and has good food and a nice terrace with sea view. It is a nice walk from the hotel, over the bridge to Dauis where you find shops. Or take a tuktuk to Tagbilaran. The hotel arranged our taxi to go to the airport. Good price/quality. Good service. Recommended.

No telephone to call the front desk, we stayed 3 nights, they only clean the room once. We always had to ask for toilet paper

Booked 2 premier rooms & stayed with family. The view is amazing however birds are po**ing in the patio so upon waking up, you'll see it really messy. The patio doors are a bit hard maybe because they lack oil idk Buffet breakfast was good, the pools were alright although there's no lifeguard so not a bit kid-friendly. Also, no elevators so I suggest getting the rooms above ( premier /oceanview) Location is a bit far from the city center and public transport isn't readily available.

The property is just out of town, but close enough to go in anytime. It is on a busy road, but once on the property you are sheltered from most of the noise. The facilities and environment are lovely. However, some property maintenance is needed to keep it looking amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is no lift, but staff are willing and able to assist with baggage. The pools were lovely, but need a little maintenance. Breakfast was limited for an Aussie, but sufficient. Restaurant and cafe were great. Best coffee we’ve had on our trip so far.

- On the bright side, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Special shoutouts to John Michael for his delicious breakfast eggs, the attentive dining area manager (forgot her name), the guy and very helpful nighttime receptionist, and the approachable security guard - The hotel's two pools were clean and inviting - the ocean view from my room was breathtaking However, there were some drawbacks. Here are my feedback: - I was disappointed to be transferred to a different room on my second night due to a "schedule conflict" without prior notice. This inconvenience could have been avoided with better communication. On the second day, I was asked to wait in the lobby while they cleaned both my current room and the one I was being moved to. I found it surprising that I had to suggest prioritizing the cleaning of the room I was moving into before cleaning my old room. I had expected the hotel staff to be aware of this plan and to organize accordingly, rather than advising me to wait in the lobby. - the difficulty in opening my room's veranda sliding door was quite frustrating. - I had to request bath towels in my first room, which was unexpected for a hotel of this caliber - The slippery shower area in my initial room raised safety concerns. This should be checked - the fluctuating wifi was forgivable since i use data connection of my phone instead - While the breakfast was enjoyable, there is room for improvement. but i love it - my toilet is not totally clean when i moved in on my first room. needed to call their attention on that Despite these shortcomings, my overall stay was pleasant, but attention to these details could enhance the experience for future guests.

the view here is amazing and enjoyable. Didn't think there was a place with this kind of view in Bohol. Food is a little expensive but affordable. Pizza is very yummy and good. I will be back to experience the nigh time

Came to stay for three nights, first day we put in three complaints about our bedding and towels being unclean. Was told they would change it however when we went back to our room it was the same bedding they just made up the bed instead. Third time telling them they came into the room and apologised said they would change it. After changing the bedding the pillow was still dirty, took it to reception and they changed it again. Our shower was absolutely terrible, complained about that twice which they fixed. Had two cockroaches in our bathroom 🤮 Food is ok however having about 5 restaurant staff hanging around just staring wasn’t appealing. Ordered room service and wasn’t given cutlery, the bowl of rice I had was also dirty. Swimming pool on the lower level had no atmosphere, no music, no pillows on the loungers. Overall wouldn’t recommend, photos were deceiving, staff were friendly and tried to help resolve our issues.

Nice hotel. Far from town or restaurants. Noisy from other guests and staff. Breakfast only sweet Philippines food. Toaster for sweet bread was very slow. Staff was very nice. Clean. Towels were well used. No beach. Nice view.

For its price rate, the hotel provides a nice accommodation. Geanna, Anna, Ian, Cheche, etc. are quick to respond to our needs or requests that are reasonable. The hotel has excellent ocean view of sunrise to sunset and located next to Blood Compact Shrine. Room is reasonably clean. The security guards, Medel and Jimmy are always helpful when you have heavy stuff. Easy access to public transportation at the same time expect to hear street noise but it did not bother my family. There is no elevator but there are couple of rooms in the first floor for wheelchair access with a ramp to enter the lobby. Highly recommend this hotel for its customer service with leadership of Geann. If you expect 5 star hotel with 5 star price, this hotel may not be for you but for its reasonable price and courteous employees, I would not hesitate to come back if I am in the area.

Very nice hotel with a fantastic view and clean, comfortable rooms. Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and made arrangements for tours and travel connections. Would definitely stay there again!

Booked a nice room, I really thought it was a good deal, but when we arrive at the room there were no toiletries, no floor mats or rags, no in-room slippers, service incomplete, internet connection unreliable and lost in the middle of the night. Food is good, location is on the cliff with wide views. But please improve services.

Loved the views over the ocean. Two lovely outdoor areas. Infinity pool fantastic. Room basic but grand. Had mini kettle for making tea. You can use their filtered water to bring into your room. Soap provided so don’t expect those Henann free treats… lol Nice vibe. Nice paintings. Breakfast great. I went for American breakfast, eggs, bacon, toast, ham, some fruit, marmalade, coffee or iced tea. Breakfast overlooks the infinity pool. Good vibe. Some funky art. Staff were friendly and helpful ordering our cabs. Apart from a gecko jumping on my shoulder when I was relaxing on my balcony, I had a great time here. Air con good. Bit remote but we knew that before we booked. Just get a taxi to wherever u want to go. Behol Bee Farm for dinner is a 15 min and 800peso taxi ride away and there are other nearer places. Also it is literally right beside the Blood Compact monument and 5 mins away by car from Baclayon Church. Totally enjoyed my one night stay here.

The exclusiveness of the property but parking is hard

When you first arrive at the hotel, you notice the beautiful sorroundings, two pools with ocean views, decorated with flowers and plants. Nice decorations and modern looks. They really catfished us with nice pictures of what looked like a dream! However when we opened our room, it was more like a nightmare, 3 beds crammed into a tiny room, dirty bedsheets covered in stains, there was a bug on my moms pillow, and the window with the ocean view that we were promised, had a view of the hotels gym instead. We went to complain to the staff, they wouldn’t know what service was even if it was written on their foreheads. Overall a terrible experience of broken promises, this hotel had potential, but the disappointing service and terrible staff make it a hotel nightmare.

We love Ocean Suites. Yummie food and the best coffee in Bohol. Very affordable. Great owners and wonderful staff. Great place for a morning cup of coffee while you enjoy the sunrise, or a cold beer to watch the sunset Great for couples or families.

It’s my first time to write this kind of review.I would like to express my disappointment from your unsatisfactory level of service. I have expected much! the breakfast was free but who wants to eat their food.! It’s not so happy birthday anymore. The staff was not even considerate. We try to ask them if ever we can avail the complementary cake for my mom birthday , they said no because they separate the restaurant already and we understand but this morning we try to ask them again if ever we can take out our 2 free breakfast because my mom have a early schedule to the hospital today. And again they even allowed us.

The maintance is terrible, we stayed one night in two rooms. Both rooms the aircon was noisy making it hard to sleep. The hot water is broken with multiple guests having the same issue. The is no toilet host bidet to wash your bits in room 103. The rooms were dirty they need to buy a vaccum. The roof leaks in multiple locations making all the tiles throughout the hotel very slippery and very dangerous. The meals and drinks in the resturaunt are nice but are abit on the expensive side. The view from the pool over looking the ocean was beautiful. good design for a hotel but they really need to perform a better maintance and cleaning scedule.

I have stayed at Ocean Suites for at leat 4 times now and l h ave not considered going elsewhere.

The hotel is ok. We had 3 rooms. Two of them were on the bottom floor and looked kind of like concrete boxes with beds. Hot or warm water was an issue in all 3 rooms. The 3rd room was great but the hotel staff camped outside of the room every evening. It was rather invasive for my girlfriend and myself to hear them talking and their music right outside of the door. Not a lot of privacy.

This is my third visit here and honestly it is my "go to" place to stay when visiting Bolhol. I enjoy the pools and breakfast, as well as the regular menu. It is a great place to relax or to provide a starting point for day tours. This was my first time staying in one of the rooms with direct pool access and I would do so again.

If you need the tricycle or car pick-up by asking receptionists' help, you might get the higher transportation fee than the average.

WE UNFORTUNATELY FACED THE STREET, THE WATER VIEW SUITES WOULD HAVE BEEN AMAZING. STAFF WAS REALLY NICE, THE TWO POOLS WERE GREAT. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. I WOULD MAKE SURE I HAVE AN OCEAN VIEW UNIT.

Very good hotel. It’s a long way to Alona beach. WiFi not at all good unless you go down to the Lobby. Staff are fantastic and it’s very quiet in the area.

Slow Check in . Had to ask room service to clean room further . Shower water flow adequate but hard to figure how to get warm water . Questionable security , sometimes there and sometimes not . Eating area needs updating . The food was good but breakfast buffet limited .

Very nice small hotel with everything you need if you don't what to leave. i.e. Coffee Café, 2 kid friendly infinity swimming pools, beautiful view from the balcony (sea side), Live band and buffet BBQ on Friday nights, Great buffet/cook to order breakfast also. Really enjoy the atmosphere and our stay!!

it was very nice overall. the breakfast was good and the pools and room were very clean and nice. but during our 4 day stay, the pipe under the sink burst and our room flooded so we had to change rooms. the hotel, however, did not try to make for this and the counter staff only apologized, which was a little disppointing

The hotel has four level but no elevator ..the view is fantastic the restaurant serve good breakfast buffet butl limited menu selection for lunch and dinner...the server needs training for service..

Don't stay here the pictures are deceiving. The owner has no appreciation for his customers.The owner and his wife took our van we waited on for 45 min's, right in front of us. We were told he has priority. Never bite the hand that feeds you, unless you don't appreciate your customers or respect them. The staff has a few good people but there are some that are worthless. Half the things in the room don't work right the TV, TOILET, AC. Never again will i stay here

For the price we paid for a premier suite room, the facilities and services are definitely not worth it. For one, there is no wifi internet in the topmost room where we stayed at (which is the most expensive room in the hotel). However, my sister and her family who stayed in the lower level of the hotel and paid a cheaper price had internet working in their room. The bidet was not working, the blockout curtain roller fell, there were a lot dead insects in the hallway (which were not cleaned even if it was already late in the morning) and the water dispenser was empty (we had to inform the receptionist to fill it up). Our experience during the buffet dinner was also bad - food was less than average and the wait staff had to ask me twice for my room number even though I already signed up the receipt on the first instance (considering also that there was not a lot of new people who came in to dine - in fact it was just our family who were new). I hope they improve the facilities and services.

Comfy and Cool. Staff are responsove. The place is clean. You can eat inside your room. Everything you need is provided. Fresh towels every day. The clean up your room everyday. PBiffet breakfast. Peace and quiet. Chess, pingpong, lounges, and extra avtivities

I don't know where to start. Out of 3 nights spent only had lukewarm shower once after many complaints. TV the first night had 3 bright spots on it so they switched us to another room with a correctly working TV. Free breakfast was worth what was paid. Rancid bacon, eggs barely cooked and a mango juice that was mostly water. Mango flavored water was more accurate. Twin beds pushed together so one party was always falling through the crack. Hotel is a long way from almost everything so cab rides everywhere were required. We would not stay there again on a bet.

Room is clean and comfortable( except water from shower wasn't hot) and staff are nice. View is relaxing and food at the restaurant is good. It's quite far from the seaport (~20-30mins by motor) but close to the city. Would recommend if you spend time around that part of the island instead of short stopover for water tours.

Entire family stay here for few days.. place has a great view and infinity pool just love it. Staff are friendly except we deal with some little bugs in the room. I think that's normal because the country is tropical. But over all we have a good time.

weekend visit

Loved the view from the room(s). Staff are great and they take care of all your requests. Free breakfast is limited but not bad. However there is absolutely nothing nearby to even buy a coffee. You will sendup paying "tourist" prices for everything that is available at hotel restaurant. Getting transportation to go to the city centre is not easy after 6 pm should you want to buy your dinner from somewhere else.

We really enjoyed our stay here. If you have the time, I highly recommend the lunch on the hidden beach for 300 peso per person. It was such a nice little spot, and a yummy lunch of traditional Filipino food. Nice quiet little spot to relax in for a few hours. The hotel itself was very nice, very clean. Only issue was it's a ways away from the actual city of Tagbilaran, so if you're interested in exploring by foot in the thick of the city you have a ways to go. Staff were all great and the in house restaurant was good with lots of options ranging from Western to traditional Filipino, to some international dishes as well. The portions are huge so you can often split a dish with someone else. Breakfast buffet was simple but good enough for a free breakfast. Pools are really nice with lots of spots to sit and relax. Right beside the Blood Pact Memorial which is neat to see, however if you stand outside the hotel for too long, the people selling things to the tourists start to hassle you.

*In the middle of no where. *Dishonest staffs. *Very bad wifi connection. *Over price in house dining. *Prohibit guest to bring in outside meals, otherwise FINE 500 PHP. Do yourself a favor and Not to spoil your vacation, choose other hotels please.

We booked this hotel to be near the airport on our last day because our flight was too early. They did not give us the room that we reserved. Their reason was because they overbooked. Other guests had to be transferred to another resort which was far and old. Also, there was no wifi. They told us it was under repair. No free water. Will never come back. This hotel is overpriced.

We chose this hotel as a compromise between the beach and the mountains. While the view and pool are great the hotel is definitely starting to show it's age and lack of upkeep. I would strongly recommend paying more for a superior or delux room as standard rooms are right on the highway and extremely noisy. The bed was very hard and we had to pay for extra pillows.

Absolutely amazing, new hotel. Pools are breathtaking and so are the (deluxe) rooms. The breakfast was ok, but the a la carte restaurant was very good too.

Excellent swimming pool warm water... Me and my husband want to stay one more night but the room already book online so sad we need to check out and find other hotel.

Nice hotel with two pools. The good thing about it is they have a good restaurant and a little bar right there. Beautiful views. And a tiny store right across the street. I'd stay there again.

The hotel in general was great. The staff are polite and accommodating. No need to remind the housekeeping to clean the room instead they call your attention if we wanted to clean it.

Cons: WiFi only works in reception but not always and slow. Safe not fitted to anything and doesn't work anyway. No hot water, balcony door broken, breakfast options poor. Lied about our airport transport waiting for us so we rushed for nothing. Pros: Great view, pools excellent, dinner meals good, looks great, Repairs, where done, were quick.

I loved the infinity pool and the staff. Everyone was super nice and helpful. However, I requested that our bed sheets be cleaned because I noticed that for the three days I was there they were never changed.

We stayed for four nights whilst visiting Bohol. Our overall stay was very comfortable - with helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, two gorgeous infinity pools with a view and easy access to the Tagbilaran town proper, and Panglao island. The breakfast buffet is not extravagant but simple and filling ... the egg station was a hit for us! Pros - Helpful, friendly staff - A la carte restaurant food was reasonably priced and tasted good! They were even willing to alter dishes for vegetarians which we appreciated. - Clean rooms with balcony, quiet AC - Games area with table tennis - Good location - Hotel organised a competitively priced private Bohol tour (cheaper than the quotes we got from in town!) - Free shuttle to sister resort on Bikini beach (although it would be great if they could extend this to Alona beach, as Bikini beach is not very big or clean..!) Cons - Our "queen size bed" was actually two single mattresses put together... so I kept falling down the middle!! - Showers were always tepid - Noise control/sound proofing issues in the hotel when there are families with lots of children/large groups

Worst experience of my holidays. Even if we arrange collection from seaport, nobody picked us. After waiting 50 min we decided to go by car, paying obviously. Room really small and noisy, not only die to road views but also bathroom leaking an water drops were annoying. No options given by staff but paying double for another room.

Short stay, beautifully appointed hotel situated well out of the city. Pros beautiful pools and views. Shuttle to airport. They call a taxi if required. Cons: breakfast was a buffet ,but not a good choice. Check in and check out process was very long and flawed. On check in they asked us to pay when we had already paid and they could not find our reservation. On check out they tried to charge us for stuff that we had not had. Also,the room had a strange damp smell.

This hotel is fantastic the staff is pleasant, friendly and professional. I enjoy that the hotel is close to all of the activities in Bohol and just a few minutes to drive to the beach via hotel shuttle. Delicious breakfast and beautiful sunshine what more can a girl ask for.

Overall our stay was very good. We only stayed one night, however the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The immediate vicinity is without much to do, but the view from the hotel restaurant and pool are great. If you just need to relax, the hotel is a great place to do so.

After a long trip to bohol the first thing we wanted to do is get a shower: and then we realized that there is NO HOT WATER!! After a small not pleasent talk with the front desk manager they moved us room, that has hot water just one they... So the other 2 days of our stay at the hotel we get only cold showers. The staff at the hotel are not professional, they don't know anything. They don't know a out activities to do at the island, don't know about theit own menu! The double bed is very small!! There was plenty of insects. The housekeeping girl just knock at hour door at 7:30 am!!! For a couple on vacation is too early in the morning. There is no elevator at the hotel! The breakfast is very poor The food at their restaurant is average but expensive. The good things: 2 pools with excelent view Their Oreo cake! They have water dispensers in each level.

i arrived a noon but they gave me my room at 2 pm even if it was ready nice pools WI-FI is good but there is nothing around you have to take taxi or tricycle to go in town

The location of the hotel next to the main street are in question. The noise is loud due to the motorbike or tricycle constantly passing. The hotel needs sound proofing badly, the rest of the stay are all satisfactory..

I arrived at 130 in the afternoon. Ocean view room was not ready. I was able to get to my room at exactly 2pm check in time. Deluxe ocean view room has comfortable bed, small bathroom, the basin is located outside the bathroom. It has a safety deposit box that is very confusing to use. It's not user friendly. It has a bedside led lamp that does not have an electrical socket . Only USB. You can use the led lamp if you have your powerbank with you. Fortunately, I had my powerbank with me. It has 2 swimming pools. The pool at the ground level is slimmy & has a slippery surface. The color of the pool has turned green. The smaller pool at the lobby lounge is relaxing & clean. It has a nice ocean view. There is no pool attendant on both pools. Breakfast needs improvement.

it was good. the staff was very polite and kindly helped us With what was needed. one of the bedsheets was dirty, we got it changed. the breakfast was good With a chief doing different kinds of eggs, but as in most asian hotels, not to much offering. but oh, one very important thing. THE ICE CREAM! it was soo good, but because it wasnt in a separate freezer it was totally melted. such a sham! but overall: a Nice stay.

Me& My wife we are really enjoyed with 2 days stay in your hotel specially my son really enjoyed the pool the food and the view...your staff is very friendly and i will recommend to all my friends your hotel.

We stayed in bohol for 2 nights. Straight from airport we proceed to the land tour and check in around 5pm. Check in process was fast and staff was responsive and efficient with our inquiries and request. White furnished hotel looks bright and clean with ocean view. There's 2 separate swimming pools at different level, we had a private pool in the late afternoon. Room was clean with comfortable bed and pillow, spacious too. Note wash up basin and mirror are outside the toilet. Cafe food is nice with attentive staff services. Breakfast facing the pool and ocean view, what else can we asked for. Great music and live band in the evening. City is a distance away about 60p by tricycle, ~15mins (Negotiable). Panglao island approximately 30mins where we headed for dolphins watching and island hoping. Packet breakfast is prepared at 530am upon request. We had teriyaki chicken and fries, tasty and hot. Excellent place and service, we just roam around inside the hotel after a day tour, relax.
