Goldcity Hotel

We had a wonderful stay with my family and truly enjoyed every moment. The food was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the hammam and massage experience. A special thank you to all the spa staff, especially Arslan, Bayram, Hulya, and Ahmet, for their kindness and professionalism.

A room with a really great view. Huge family room! Special thanks to the hotel manager who took care of us with a very personal service ♥️ 🇫🇮Huone todella upealla näköalalla. Valtava perhehuone! Erityiskiitokset hotellinjohtajalle, joka piti meistä huolta erittäin henkilökohtaisella palvelulla ♥️

Overall very pleasant environment, very friendly staff all around especially at dinning hall. Good selection of food every day different maneu, loads of desert , home grown fruits , room big clean with fresh water bottles etc. Free shuttle service to beach and Alanya town. Night time entertainment good! Hotel is on hill top with panoramic view of sea, mountain and land. Low noise , again excellent value in terms of costs I recommend and will visit again hopefully!

the girls on the bar in the day were beyond amazing so quick at serving yet funny and interpersonal but that’s where the customer service ended, the 3 girls on the “ customer services “ were the furthest from their job description as you could imagine and on one of the nights a man was knocking and i mean knocking on our door and when i asked who he was he said house keeping i got dressed opened the door any nobody was there when i went down to reception i was told its a big hotel it’s kids ( a kid with a man’s voice banging that hard at 4am? ) the food was so hit and miss one morning there will be nothing edible the next it’s lovely same with dinner the drinks were lovely the room is amazing the views beautiful but this is an honest asssessment oh and the entertainment unless your under ten is excruciating to the point it’s that loud and childish you need ear muffs

Hotel is a 4/5 star. Food was one of the best all inclusive hotels I have been too, lots of different choices each day! Hotel was very clean and rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday. Pool was quite cold, and there is no where near enough sunbeds to accommodate the size of the hotel, we came out of season so I can’t imagine what it would be like in the height of summer. Water slides are an added bonus although there were only 3 rubber rings to be used on some of the slides again no where near enough. We hired a car for the duration of our holiday and I’m so glad we did as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Overall very happy with our stay and I would return here.

Room is good, thé food is good but not many variation, animation is super, bedo is amazing, services are good and gentle people.

Room: big, but not very clean Activities: good animation Hotel: Good Restaurant: not many variation in the food Bedo is a legend!!

Hotel, food and all entertainment have been really good. I would like to highlight Bedo in entertainment as a very positive and proactive person who always went above and beyond for everyone involved.

really good experience all staff is very nice i would recommend very funny and very friendly i would recommend bring your children as it is a family hotel

Great stay! Excellent service, clean rooms, and perfect location. Highly recommend! Fantastic experience! The staff was friendly, the amenities were top-notch, and the view was stunning. A truly memorable stay!

Fantastic place for families.. and great entertainment, plenty of sun lounges and lots todo food is ok plenty of options

We stayed at Gold City in Alanya and had such a lovely experience. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area a bit outside the busy center, which was exactly what we needed. From the very first moment we arrived, we felt welcome. The check-in was smooth, well-organized, and they had everything under control. Our superior room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a beautiful view. It felt comfortable and well taken care of. The hotel in general was very clean, including the pool areas which were always tidy. The only small challenge was finding the right spots by the pools, and I did notice that near the slides there weren’t too many seats available. One of the biggest highlights for us was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, understanding, and service minded throughout our stay. Guest relations, especially Eda the manager and the staff Busra, and Uulzhan really stood out with their kindness and professionalism. They were always quick to answer questions, solve problems, and made sure we felt looked after. The atmosphere at the hotel was very positive, and you could feel that the staff cared about the guests. The buffet was another great part of the stay. There was always a big variety of food, fresh and well presented. It was clear that the buffet management was running things very well. A special thanks to manager Ramazan, and the waiters GulMariam Pinar and Hussain, who showed true hospitality and made sure everything was in order, clean, and ready. They worked hard to make the meals feel both comfortable and enjoyable. All in all, it was a safe, cozy, and memorable stay for us. The all-inclusive really lived up to our expectations, and we are already looking forward to coming back. Gold City truly gave us a holiday where we could relax and feel at home, and we would happily recommend it to others.

I had a great time in Goldcity hotel, the food was very good, and the parties with mr Bedo made our trip even better. Sunday pool party is a must. You have to try aquapark aswell especially the yellow slide! ;)

All is ok, perfect and beautiful view. The all animators are very funny and friendly. Bedo and mr ozan are cool and amazing person and i realy pike they.

Very good experience, including good food. Especially the entertainment team with Bedo is very good! The swimming pools are also very good.

Upon arrival there was no sign of any bell boy or any person to great us we had drag all our sutecasse off the bus and than found a trolly put push in to the recption. We were told it beach fornt hotel with sea view but that was far from the truth we were on top of a mountain. Beach is 30 minutes down. We were given a room a premium room on b block away from the recption it was down hill and it was away from the buffet so if ur hungry u need make sure get bus that runs every hour one time or ur left hungry if u miss it which happened to us many times the bus either left early or showed up late so no dinner finished at 9 o'clock. In b block there is small pool and drink bar very small no food no snack with young child I had buy food amd snack so we would go hungry if we missed the bus. The room was so small a box room and the smell was horrible drain issues made it impossible to sit in the room or use the bath room. The first day cleaner walked in and saw us sleep as we came in early morning she swore who the fucx sleep at this time we were fuming as my little one was there and the was no need for foul language we took it up with the receptionists who apologised. I feel so bad for the staff at the bar they sit all day waiting for customer also they wait for there food to come from the main building and they can eat many times they were left with out food and u can see they were unhappy and hungry They was no music in b block we had play our own music which got the ppl dancing and coming next to the bar and thanking us as saying now feels like holiday. Now the prices are crazy in the hotel a packet of biscuits was 10 pounds which was ridiculous. Also be ready for racesim which we faced on daily that became the normal. I would do full research before u go to this hotel it is not 5 star but 3 star i been on many holidays and this was bad misinformation by our travel company telly text and on the beach. Also the food is alot but it's the same thing agian and agian no taste no flavour had go out and eat taxi was 15 pound to get down and 15 pound to get up so be ready for expensive trip the beach was far down and not sandy at all .

Very good photographer took many different types of photos to how we wanted, very happy at all times, very good communication, overall very good person.

First time staying at this hotel. Very clean hotel. Us as a family had a great time. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool entertainment was fun- especially Bedo he was so friendly and happy, great entertainer 👌, night time entertainment was very good also. The main restaurant was good but think it needs a better selection for children. Shop at the hotel very expensive.

Firstly, we had a good holiday, we made sure of that. The buffet food was really excellent at breakfast, lunch, snacks & evening. The special restaurant meals & service were not so. The pools are great. We enjoyed the water park, albeit there are very limited places to sit while the kids play, and the area is smaller than expected. One big selling point for Goldcity was the entertainment, sports & kids activities. Mis-sold! The evening entertainment was poor. The sports (apart from an hour a day water polo) were none existent and we never found the facilities pictured. Suspect they were where they are building now. The most disappointing thing was there was no kids activities run by the complex. There is a room, open at 4pm and everything in there cost extra money via tokens. And most of the games & amusements are old & outdated. Cables across walkways, it was a bit of a dump and would not pass H&S in the UK. Twenty Euros a time gone in an hour! Bars were good, all inclusive drinks sufficient. There is an Irish Pub (so called) that did not have any Guinness and was selling the same drinks available for free elsewhere!! Our suite was good, well serviced and the staff everywhere were good - apart from those trying to sell, sell, sell. Speaking of which a photographer goes around site, taking pictures. You go to the store to find they sell photos at 10 Euros each. Ludicrous! We booked some excursions ourselves online at a fraction of the cost sold via the agents in the hotel. Less than half the price! Boat trips & jeep into the mountains are well recommended - if not the highlight of our holiday. The Goldcity private beach is a packed shuttle ride away. I doubt anybody does it more than once, no sand, all pebbles & stones, choppy & deep, no good for children. A trip to Alanya is definitely worth it, we used taxis. We met some lovely people and enjoyed Goldcity because we made the most of the pools, slides, bars and not forgetting meal times. But it is not quite as marketed - and be prepared to spend beyond the all inclusive investment. We would not return, especially for the cost. It is too far from the airport, for another downside (took three hours on the return, and then the security in the airport was horrendous, adding another hour before we pretty much boarded straight away and just in time to depart).

Very good entertainment. Water volleyball led by Bardo is fun and I recommend everyone try it.:)))))))))))))))))))))

Will recommend, good food, restaurants offer difrent dishes very nice hotel and entertainment team, Bedo great job!!

honest review Pros: •hotel was lovely and clean • staff were very helpful and friendly. •The entertainment whilst repetitive through the day was good if you were involved. •The water park was great for the kids. • sun beds aplenty if you can’t find a bed just ask the pool guy and he’ll find you one. •pizza oven and pancake station was fantastic and the people working were lovely. • Beach - more stones than sand but the jetty was great fun to jump off and the food was great. Two Busses arrive and leave on time so no waiting around. Cons Main restaurant food: Do not eat any food without checking if it’s cooked, the hotel will deny any claim of food poisoning, with proof of pink chicken and fish that’s soggy inside and waffles that weren’t cooked which is very dangerous. Myself and a family member plus another 3 families with a couple of them that all had the Tom tits and very painful stomach aches. It ruined the whole holiday. We stayed for 10 nights only to spend 3 in my room. The hotel offered a free of charge meal in the paid Turkish restaurant which you won’t be able to eat being so ill. We sat down with the manager and she said they’d “check the cooking equipment”. Seems nothings probed before being put out. • poo in the pool staff just got some ribbon out and threw chlorine in without shutting the pool. This happens twice in the Olympic pool and once in the baby pool. And three of five the slides were shut for a day for the same issue (guessing they had the chicken or fish) • this isn’t an all inclusive hotel You need to pay for Irish bar and other bars within the hotel, if you arrive late night / early morning you’ll have to pay for pizza. Wasn’t expensive around £6. •the shop Some stuffs expensive like shower gel suncream and floats etc but mostly a fair price. Hanggle on price and they’ll knock some money off. Depends who’s working. We got uno for £5 but was quoted £13 the day before. Bag shops pretty good and can grab a deal along with the cloths shop. Whilst cheaper in Alanya still a good price. Excursions Do your research Pink safari trucks not all inclusive You’ll be asked to pay for water guns these range from €10 to €25. the inclusive drinks you get a shot glass but can pay for a soft drinks glass €5 or a beers €8 Pirate boat Again was promised multiple drop off and the cave but another boat was in there so they moved on and again the meal would feed a 5 year old, rice and chicken with some salad. Was quoted €240 through the hotel but you can get a cab to Alanya and sort yourself for a fraction of the cost. Again you can haggle the price at the hotel. Music around the pool Wow, just wow. One day was Shocking, the amount of swearing in the music was unreal. Have a listen to the artist 6ix9ine - Kika (be warned it’s very explicit) They don’t see the issue with playing it either when asked to turn it off. Playing snoop dog and jay z. Really bad with younger kids around. I’ll add 95% of the time it was tailored for all with a lot of older English songs. Travel time to the hotel On the way there via private transfer was 2hrs Back to the airport it was 3hr 20mins due to traffic. Book a private transfer through the hotel return was €170. Overall would I come here again….. Sort the food and pool cleaning yes I’d recommend to other families. Unfortunately there’s a lot of reviews with the same issues so it really lets it down. With so many people ill and poo in the pool, we can’t all be wrong.

Arrived early in the morning turkey time , no water , no food , rude service!!!! Some of the staff were rude , I have never experienced this before in turkey & have been loads over the years!!! Food was good, great selection for an all inclusive!! Whatever u do don’t buy from the onsite shop, all water toys are cheap & nasty !! They won’t refund or replace them !!! Great hotel , just not worth the 2-3 hrs private transportation from the airport!!!

Currently staying on an 11 day holiday , Family of 4 , 2 kids aged 14 and 17 , the location is worth the 2 hour drive from airport, 1 of the most stunning locations you can ask for and my 17 year old has had 'so many amazing photos ops'!!!! Staff so hard working and loads of them , Went on 2 excursion from hotel pink safari and pirate ship boat , loads of hidden costs on both of trips so take your cash with you but both good days out just alot of money for what they are . Rooms decent on 2nd floor so not too far away, 2 shower in room a jacuzzi bath which I have freezing cold before we go out, no mini bar in room that was s bit disappointing, room cleaned daily with new towels every day . Slides great for family, entertainment decent will never be bored . Food just average buffet as all holidays lots to choose from but other than a sushi night all but the same every day , went 2 fish bar restaurant which was fantastic, and paid for roof top restaurant, again unreal but could be part of all inclusive as well as irish bar only ever max 10 people in there but have to pay for drinks in there which if was all inclusive would be used alot more , in my opinion had this whole place everything included in all inclusive and no hidden costs would be 5 star unbeatable place to go , but as always just greed of trying to make money off people that's already paid a premium to go on holiday. As not enough places to go get drinks apart from the very few places with big queues on a evening or even at pool side during the day , the soup after 12pm is pretty weak if hungry after dinner should be more availability for other things to eat as when everyone had a few bevys during night they want something to soak alcohol up not bloody soup and bread!!!! Also, the shop onsite is a complete rip-off paid €40 for a lilo, which is unbelievable, and all food and drinks in there are at dubai prices!! The hotel should take stock of this as their guests are just getting ripped right off in there , I know it's independent and not part of the hotel, but again, it just gives a bad vibe of goldcity . I've given a four star review as is a stunning place would recommend but just lots of hidden costs in hotel that dont usually have in a five-star hotel

Very valuable hotel July 2025 Gold City Hotel has wonderful concepts. The fact that the hotel has a piano, as well as a concert and sports hall, shows that it is a hotel that values art and sports. During the week, concerts and shows are held at the hotel, and at the same time, a man named Bedo organizes enjoyable water gymnastics sessions for hotel guests in the pool, accompanied by music. In short, time is spent meaningfully in this hotel. As someone from Azerbaijan, I recommend you to come.

Everything was fantastic especially entertainment. Bedo from entertainment really made our trip. Amazing options for transport to beach and mid city. Really good service all around. See picture from show

We have been to this hotel for 6 times now. A view things changed since the last time we been here (2023) the sunset bar is new and provides ice coffee's which are delicous and very good! The animation is great we especially found bedo ( mr animation motivation) the best one of the animation team he came to our beds on our first day to talk to us, his aquagym is full of energy and 1 of the best i have seen in this hotel. We hope to see him again next year. The hillside alacart was amazing the man who works there really tries to make your dinner there the best you can have and also the girl who serves drinks there. (The one with the pretty eyelashes) Then the up hill restaurant, even though it costs money (with all inclusive) it's worth the money! The food is amazing and taste so good! All the food was great and we loved it I want to thank all the staff! They all did their best to make sure we had a great holiday. I want to especially thank Eda from guest relations because she is the best and anwsered all my questions, i also want to thank the guy on the roller skates he is also one of the best he made us laugh! And ofcourse bedo, for making our holiday at goldcity unforgettable.

entertainment team were amazing, really friendly and good planning. Shuttle bus to illusion club and beach club on a Sunday, really cheap and a good experience. Hotel as a whole is brilliant and really good hospitality. In the entertainment team, Angel and Bedo were very funny, really nice people and good to go out with.

Entertainers are all very nice. Transport to clubs is good. Bedo and mr ozan highlight of the holiday very funny. Drink service is good very generous with portions.

Amazing family holiday. There is so much to like about this hotel. It’s set at the top of a hill which gives so many opportunities for beautiful views. The sunsets in the evening are stunning. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and it has lots of different areas which helps spread everyone out so no where feels too crowded or busy. We went in July and there were still sun beds available after 10am and when they got busy, staff would bring out more. It was nice not having to get up too early to grab a spot by the pool. There were two pools and a water park to enjoy. The pool temperatures were lovely. Always warm and clean. We loved the range of slides at the water park and there were hardly ever any queues for the slides although the double boat slide had many people who held onto their raft and did repeat riding which made it hard to access that ride. It would be nice if the lifeguards stopped people doing that. Sometimes they did but not consistently. The staff on the whole were great. Our favourite was Huseyin who works in the main buffet. He went over and above to make our holiday special and the service he gave was exceptional. Bedo from the entertainment team was also brilliant. He was full of energy and his aqua gym session each morning was the best fun. Loved it. The evening entertainment was really good too with some great acrobatic and dance shows at the big amphitheater. We never had any problems getting a seat there. Some entertainment was at the sunset bar and we found we could never get a seat there but it didn’t bother us too much. The daytime entertainment is limited to water polo (way too competitive and limited to adults only), aqua gym and darts. All of which were aimed at adults. We had a young teenager with us so there wasn’t too much aimed at his age range although he loved the games room with billiards/bowling and arcades. It would be nice to have other family based entertainment during the day. There was a really lovely quiet relaxation pool but we couldn’t use it as it was for 16+. It would have been nice to be able to take our teenager there for a quiet swim but he wasn’t allowed in. The website I booked on also said mini golf was available but there was none. The food was good and the all inclusive drinks were branded which was a bonus but the mixers were a bit of a let down. Just too sweet for our personal tastes. The beer and wine were good. The hotel is very remote and you need to take a shuttle bus to get to the beach but the bus service was great and we enjoyed going to the beach a few times. There is a pier that you can jump off into the sea which was fun. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely consider going back again. The only other point to note is that the hotel is very smoke friendly. No exaggeration when I say that I did not see a single other non-smoking family. There was smoke everywhere-even the staff smoked all the time. There was no escape. It would be nice if the hotel dedicated a few non smoking areas so non smokers could enjoy some fresh air!! Hopefully this is something the hotel could consider as we really liked the place but the level of smoking really was off putting.

Excellent holiday in a wonderful place. Great animation especially yoga with Gulden and water gym with Bedo. Excellent animators, thanks a lot to banu and Mr.Ozan

Was really excited for this trip, going by pics and positive reviews (ignored any bad ones, as most of the time, people just like a whine). With the hotel appearing in the distance at 4am (long transfer from airport, definitely choose private transfer), it looked spectacular up on the mountain! Check in was perfect, all done in minutes. Large superior room 10/10 on 5th floor with hot-tub, although not working. Quick mention to reception in morning and it was fixed immediately. Reception staff 10/10 good English speaking and answered all of our questions about resort. Breakfast 10/10 was varied and plentiful, not much wait other than waffle and omlette queue. My only gripe was ran out of oranges last few days. Husseyn an amazing guy, very friendly, gets to know your name, what you eat/drink and an informative local who knows his stuff, definitely helps with the dining experience. All buffet restaurant staff do a great job, all efficient. Pool areas 10/10 are very clean and we rarely had issue with beds. Snack Bar food and staff 10/10, never much wait and decent food served quickly. Sunset bar, pool bar, coffee bar, ice cream bar, pizza bar, wrap bar all great 10/10. Never done anything with entertainment team, so can't rate activities, but staff seemed to do their job and drum up competitors. Bedo was very friendly with guests. Spa facilities 10/10, booked 3 massages, Turkish baths, sauna/steamroom, nice indoor pool. Aslam is a nice chill guy. Gym facilities 6/10. I used most days, bit dated and in need of upheaval. Closed on Sunday for deep clean, which was good. Water Park 10/10, good variety of slides. Indoor games arcade 7/10. Great for bowling, pool, outdated/overused arcade games (comment from 13yo Son) and all paid extras not part of all inclusive. Hillside Restaurant 9/10, great views, quick service, can book 1 per 5 days, didn't book other fish restaurant. I personally liked buffet restaurant too much. Evening entertainment 8/10. Plenty seats at amphitheatre, shows a hit or miss, some very good, some average, none too bad, hence score. Now for improvements, number 1 being outdoor sports facilities 0/10. They have a large complex about 25 minute walk away, I know, as I walked it, but its closed. I deem myself sporty and my 13yo son loves football, but no facilities anywhere. A bunch of kids around 12 x 5-15yo) including my Son, would kick a ball about with water polo goals, but got told off by staff/security, so only lasted couple nights. For majority of holiday, they would just hang about at night with not much to do. No cinema-closed 0/10. No nightclub-closed 0/10. Supermarket 3/10, a little overpriced. My Son bought small pool ball for 10 euros, lasted 2 days. Went to exchange, and rudely ignored after staff using Google translate. Told hotel reception about experience and mentioned I would add to review, but in no way does this reflect hotel rating, as independent market renting space. Evening drinks bars staff 10/10, but overworked, hotel not providing enough staff, so actual score for bars 7/10, as sometimes long queues, especially all the cocktails being requested. An improvement could be separated queue for cocktails, or more of the premade cocktails near the Sunset Bar. Forgot about beach 9/10. Buses regular and on time. Lots of beds, great bar for food and drink, couple different height piers to jump off. -1 point off for lack of sand, but no big deal. Would I return..........with cinema, night club, gym upgrade, sports facilities (all of which were part of hotel at one stage), I would be there every year.

Relax Pool is perfect for people who like it a little bit calmer. Food tastes very good and you have a big choice. The Aqua park has amazing slides, kids going to love it!

the food was nice the staff was also nice but the room was not cleaned properly the trash was not taken away and the ashtray was overfull and was only emptied 2 times in a week for the rest I really liked my stay here and maybe we will come back next year

The beds are good, the food is good and the employees are really nice and I loved it but sometimes the rooms aren’t always getting cleaned as good (mostly they are) the view is really pretty. I had a good fist holiday. There were also very good shows in the theatre

the food was good , the snack bar was not oure best choises , the burgers were dissapointing for us the pool was verry good the rooms, we had a standart room 1 pers bed en 1 double bed . they were verry good Good room for 3 people The hairdryer dosent work properley! The cleaning of the room can do so much better !!!! the last 2 days were a disastor . The waterpark . we dident get the chance to go because we were here for 7 days and did some excursions Book Youre Excursions With NASA Tours ! they are the best and have the best prices. we booked the jeep excursion and the sunset boat tour . we have taken the transferbus to alanya from the hotel only 3€ p.p. oneway ticket . the bus is at 9 or 13 and commes back on the meetingpoint around 19h there is a free bus tot the beach the animators are soooo great and doing there best sooo much !!! we love them. the hotel is verry good , verry friendly staf , they help every time you need them . you can not get any money in the hotel only in the city . Do Not Buy Stuff in the shops of the hotel !!! They are sooooo EXPENSIVE !!! 18€ voor bar of choclat , 3,5 € voor 1L water !! BUY all stuff on the local market on saterday in mamutlar

The hotel is absolutely amazing with amazing standards and I loved every single moment the hotel has amazing staff with the entrainment team Angel and Bedo and the bar staff with every single member of staff absolutely lovely and good fun would 100% come back and recommend to a friend

Me and my family stayed in this amazing hotel for two weeks, we had a great holiday and played darts everyday with Angel who has been super. The rest of the entertainment team, Bedo, Banu and Ozge especially, are amazing too ensuring me and my sister had a great time at night bringing us on 4 nights out to 2 different clubs. The lobby and sunset bar staff are also amazing working super hard, special mention to Nuri who is amazing on his roller blades, Mustafa who always ensured we had drinks and especially Kursat who made the best mojitos ever. The snack bars have great variety and i especially liked that you order off of a menu and not from a buffet. The hillside restaurant was great as well with fantastic staff and a great menu! One of my favourite things about the hotel had to be the water park with amazing slides to choose from I loved it.

Great hotel. Lovely holiday. Food good. Plenty for kids to do. Have been staying in this hotel since 2008. Some updating needed at this stage but still very nice

The best barmaid in gold city and you put her on the 16th floor!!! Bring this chick back down!!! Cause the boys are ok but not no where as good as eylul. She is missed downstairs!!!! Tesekkur ederim

Great hotel great staff. Angel on entertainment is excellent, good fun, hillside restaurant is fab , Main restaurant is also good staff are really friendly and helpful, especially round by the tables at the bread , Room is fantastic two bedrooms and a living/ kitchen area 2 bathrooms and a hairdryer and washing machine. Also lovely big balcony and brilliant view

What can I say? Travelled at the start of June with the wife and 2 kids and family friends. On arrival (which was late) we had a very plesant staff take all our luggage for us to our rooms. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Toilets were good size with some nice touches and oh what a shower. Plenty wardrope space for our 10 day stay. The view from room 117 in the south side was absolutely sublime. The food was great with a large variety on offer and the desserts, i think i put on 2 stone lol. The snack bar was open 1230-4 where you could get burgers and drinks etc. most drinks incuding cocktails were all inclusive but drinks like jack daniels understandibly cost. There was a member of staff delivering drinks while wearing rollerblades which was a touch of class and he would often go around with drinks to make sure people were hydrated. Angel was an absolute joy when doing darts. Plenty to do in the hotel with bowling and a massive pool with plenty loungers. After 5 nights you get treated to a free A La Carte meal at the waterfall bar. Nothing says bliss like a fantastic meal with family and friends while the sun sets on spectacular views. There was a free shuttle service to the beach where there was a goldcity kiosk that you got all inclusive food and drink and again plenty sunloungers or for a couple of euros a bus to the markets. In the hotel there was also a clothes shop with an absolute gentleman who was so polite and friendly and then there was the Goldcity professional photography by Ümit Eren who took absolutely amazing photography (and big celtic fan like me) and great prices. Be sure to get photos from him you wont regret it. Then there was one of the bar staff in particular (see photos) he was an absolute joy and an expert at mixing the most fantastic drinks and never a nicer man met. So polite and very well mannered. And last but not least a big thank you to the housekeepers for excellent service. The kitchen staff for excellent food. All the staff for an excellent stay. My wife and I are already booked for october 2026. See you then.....

The hotel is huge! It has a main pool area, a quieter pool (over 16's as it is deeper), spa, hamam, some evening entertainment and if you're all inclusive, tons of food choices at the buffet (surprisingly mixed reviews but I really enjoyed the sheer choice of stuff). The hotel is 2 and a quarter hours from Antalya airport. We had prebooked a hire car - I would highly recommend this, read on. Firstly, the road from the airport to the hotel is a fairly straight drive along the coast. For cheaper data (needed it to sat nav my phone), I bought 20gb with Global y/o for 12 euros. I barely used 5gb as the hotel has wifi but it was handy for getting about during day trips. The hotel is situated on the hill above Mahmutlar, about 15-20 mins from Alanya. With a hire car, the drive from the beach to the hotel front door is 10 mins. So it would take up to an hour walking as it's mainly uphill! Hence a hire car was amazing to have. Most of the guests are Russian or speak Russian. I also found most of the shops in Alanya also speak Russian. I quite enjoyed an environment with less fellow Brits. The staff were busy but friendly. One lady at the pool bar appeared grumpy a lot but after speaking to her in basic Turkish (hi, how are you, can I please have) she was lovely. She probably just gets asked for drinks without any pleasantries. Same with the hotel staff. Learning a few basic greetings, hello, thank you, how are you and they were amenable to most things. The food - I really enjoyed the buffet style meals. The choice is vast; for breakfast, everything you could think of, especially eggs, pastries, breads but they would make you fresh waffles or omelettes too. There was always a salad area for every meal of the day too. The main meals had a lot of chicken, some other meat options, veg options and fish. The desserts had lots of choice; I'd recommend the baclava. The only thing it didn't have were fresh spices to add but a small gripe. It's quite nice not having to wait for a dish but have food instantly! The rooms - we were upgraded, not sure if it was bringing them shortbread as a hello gift but we had 3 rooms on the same floor. Huge, amazing big balconies too. The toiletries, there weren't any, which might have annoyed some people but we had our own with us so it didn't become an issue. There's rudimentary coffee and tea options in the room and they keep you well stocked with water bottles each time you run low (2 x 1.5 ltr ones). I had a main living area, large bathroom and large bedroom. The bath is also a jacuzzi but it is so noisy, so we didn't really use it. I'm aware that there are other rooms which are not in the main hotel. I'd say unless you have a hire car, try and get the main hotel. Pools - the quiet pool is brilliant and gets the sun later. The main pool is a kids one then a fun area in the main pool and lane swimming area too. Water seemed clean. There's also a water park. There are a couple of lifeguards but they're at the bottom. So on the slides, if your kid is younger, maybe go up with them. Or just make sure they wait before going down straight after someone else. Great fun there but the water is cold. Entertainment - one night they had a dance troupe, who were really good. Another night, they had a fire thing which was decent, both in the ampitheatre near the water park. The bingo was pretty boring and a bit expensive (6 tickets for 15 euros) then they had a karaoke. Overall, the entertainment was 'okay'. Cleanliness - can't think of anything I'd fault here. I would say that the facade, ie the main pics etc showcase all the stunning parts. For example, if I put the shower on too powerfully, it would leak and soak a chunk of the bathroom floor, so I used one of the towels to protect the area there. But the bathroom itself was nice. The cleaning staff would do stuff like make the hand towel into a swan or something most mornings, a nice little touch. Getting around and the beach - Hire a car! We would zip down the hill and turn left to drive about 2 mins along the main road to the private beach area. The beach was great, the water was amazing. Also, because it's private, and all the other people are also guests at the same hotel, you feel less paranoid about leaving your bag while you swim etc. Although one of us was usually on a lounger. The food bar isn't as good here but I don't blame the staff. For example, if you order chips/fries, you get about 10. Better off ordering a burger if you eat meat. Or the pasta as I did. Alanya is a really easy drive along the main road. If you want to clothes shop, I'd recommend going. We also went to Damlatas Cave, the beach here is terrific too. Alanya is a pretty town. Overall, I'd recommend the hotel, especially for families. Like most hotels, the rooms are not soundproof. So one night I heard a baby cr;ying very loudly. But I'm not blaming the baby! I also found as most of the guests are European, mostly Russian, Ukranian, Germans and some Dutch (and a few from England), overall, it wasn't like you're hearing partygoers coming in at 5am etc, not that type of hotel. Other things that might annoy someone are lack of toiletries; it didn't bother us, as we always bring stuff on holiday (surely most people do?). If you learn hello, and thankyou, they appreciate it Merhaba - Hello / nasilsin - how are you / Tejekur Ederum - thankyou (spelt phonetically) As the hotel is up a hill, and you want to go to the shops down the hill in town or to the beach, you either have to get the shuttle bus or go in a hire car. Without either, you'll get knackered and won't enjoy it as much. If you're happy staying in the huge hotel complex for amenities, no issues. There is one thing I felt was inaccurate. There is no gym! There's a room with about 7 exercise bikes, which look old and are noisy when using. But if there was an actual gym, I never found it. Maybe they are planning on a full gym in time but at present, there isn't one. I found the room clean and bedding comfortable. Overall, I'd say the hotel is great. But if you want to get around outside of it, you need transport or a lift. It's a lovely spot for a break, with clean beaches too and good ambience. Family friendly

Food is oké view is nice The best receptionist is baris hè helpt us with everything we need The city is 25 minutes from The hotel and The spa en haman is super i would recomend This more fore familie Holiday then friends cant wait to come back again

This hotel is disgustingly bad, it’s dirty wall paper hanging off , furniture is ripped , rooms are dirty and tired, most of the facilities are not open, I saw people saying you get what you pay for , this was not cheap when we booked it and pictures look fabulous, but these are old and dated and looks nothing like this anymore, we complained about facilities not being open but they don’t won’t to know ! Please don’t waste your money there far better hotels out there , plus it’s a 3 hr trip from airport then they stop to try get you to buy from shop ! Everyone has different taste I get that but this is on another level !

The hotel was lovely! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hasan was brilliant, super chatty and gave us plenty of different entertainment options. We stayed for 10 nights and didn’t get bored of the all inclusive as the food was amazing. There’s lots of activities and entertainment through your the day and on the evenings. Would definitely recommend if you’re thinking about visiting Turkey!

We took our grandkids for one week in August and were pleasantly surprised. We had a three bedroom, two bathroom apt in the main building, with fabulous sea and mountain views. The rooms were huge, very clean, excellent air conditioning, huge balcony, fully kitchen, we could not fault it. The waterpark is amazing, and the food there was really nice, we spent most of our days there.'' The main pool was also great though very busy in August, but that didn't bother us. The indoor pool was good as it was cooler and refreshing. The food in our opinion, was good, having a large variety from lamb, fish, chicken, duck, sushi and more. We also ate at the A La Carte restaurant, where we sat on the outside terrace with fantastic views. The food there was delicious, the even made a special birthday cake for my granddaughter on her 10th birthday. I really loved Goldcity and will definitely be visiting again. There was only negative for me, and that was the lack of air conditioning in public areas of the hotel, especially the restaurant. The weather in August was extremely hot and humid, so air con was needed in all areas. We could not sit indoors as it was unbearable, it was obvious they were trying to save money, which is not acceptable. If the air con in main building had been on I would have given this hotel a 10/10. A bid thank you to Eda in customer relations for making this a fab holiday, see you next time

Too many people that

Odalar harika diyebilirim. Her türlü ihtiyacınızı karşılayabileceğiniz bir otel. Aileniz ile gidecekseniz tavsiye ederim.

Well this year has been a year of many firsts and different experiences. After a world wide lockdown and different ways of living, I think most of us were in need of a quality holiday. After mulling over options with all the restrictions in place. Will it be statycation or risk going abroad with everchanging rules. We put our trust in Allah and decided to go Turkey and chose Gold City as our resort. Totally feel it was a blessed choice that was guided by Ar Rahman niRaheem. We took the risk and booked individually through websites on our own and got a deal of the century to start with. On Arrival The looming complex on top of a hill did really look majestic. We arrived at this sprawling complex of a grand hotel and surrounding villas and first impressions were spectacular. Due to Covid the complex was pretty empty We were given a pool facing apartment with a superb view of the sea as well. Apartment was Great. Pluses=Bath with a Jacuzzi, WASHING MACHINE,Balcony with superb views. Comfortable beds. Bath was leaking but we reported it and they repaired the issue so all was fine. There are lots of facilities at the hotel. about 5 restaurants, all were closed due to Covid. They had a burger bar on Lower floors, Enjoy Burger semi Gourmet, type burgers for around £4 to £5 pounds with Chips, Absolutely delish and totally reasonable prices for Hotel of this calibre. Loved the burgers here, ordered quite a few... just call us Elvis. They have a cinema, nightclub, spa and massage facil

Havuzlar, aqua park, yemekler çok güzeldi. Animasyon da fena değildi. Ailelere tavsiye ederim.

Not every staff's personel were kind, sometimes even unpollite and don't speak Engilish (only Russian); hotel situated very fram from city; simply rooms need some renewal; very noisy animations on the pool; take care of the rooms with view to main pool; very long waiting for elevators; otherwise everything excellent - foods, aqua park, design of hotel;

It was a very nice Hotel. The staff were very friendly and spoke very good English. The beach is very close and the hotel provided transport to and from the beach. There is also transport to the centre at a good price. You can also rent a car from the hotel and there is free parking. The food was delicious and there is a wide selection of different dishes. The room was very spacious! Provided a safe, a washing machine and even a Jacuzzi!! There was amazing views from the balcony. The hotel provided for our needsand provided us with the extra bed. There are lots of swimming pools and the waterpark was amazing the entertainment program at night was very nice.I highly recommend this hotel thank you Gold City!

Realy bad hotel. No service, No wifi No tv No aircondition and No personal taking anything seriosly. Stay away. Var rental whit defekt cars. And No refunds.

The resort had guests mainly from Russia (or formerly Russian States) and hence most of the food were catered to their taste robbing my enthusiasm for authentic Turkish food. 2. Announcements, live entertainment and kids activities were all spoken in Russian and hosts were speaking in foreign language(Russian) which meant my kid was alienated completely from the group. 3. very few staff spoke English making it very difficult for me to ask for basics 4. On the day of check out, my 4yr daughter was stopped getting into the restaurant because she didn't have wrist band (the fact is she never had it from day one). Staff's attitude changed completely when I checked out which was hard to digest and made me more eager to get out of the place. Definitely not recommended for British tourists.

Hieno paikka, sopii perheille. Altaalla musiikki aika kovalla kun on paljon ohjelmaa. Todella ystävällistä henkilökuntaa. Siisti.

Aqua parkı çok kısa açık Elemanların hiç biri turk misafirler le ilgilenmiyor bile

All positives, everything was good other than the following although food was ok, it was repetitive. The snack bar food was really nice thr staff at the sheesha bar arent the nicest. All other staff were really nice After asking several times for the A.C to be sorted because the room was without a remote, they never sorted it accomodated more for russians. when speaking to agents or shop staff they said their brochures were designed for russians which automatically made me not purchase anything / arrange any activities with them.

This is the best hotel you can choose. Shuttme to the beach free every two hours, and even shuttle to Alanya centrum. I give this hotel 5 stars for everything, even the food and security.

this hotel is excellent I am so happy all things is very good

We had a lovely time at the hotel. The All inclusive service was excellent and all the staff were great especially the staff at the buffet restaurant and snack bar. We were disappointed with the heat in the reception and lobby area. The air conditioning was not on although I was told it was on but cos doors are open it was not effective, but I went under the air con and could not feel any cold air coming out. The room was very good but mattress and pillow were too soft. Location of hotel was far out and taxi was expensive but we knew about this before we left and also our plan was to spend most of our holiday at the hotel Entertainment was good

Otel temizlik olarak fena değildi yemekler lezzetliydi ama bi konuyu geçemicem hijyen konusunda sıkıntı var havuzda pis bi lahım kokusu geliyor hamburger tabagınının içinde ufak bi böcek cıktı onun dısında yer olarak merkeze uzak cok uzak ama her hotelde olabilecek seyler gibi geliyor bana genel itibariyle fena degildi aile ile güzel tatil gecirilebilecek otellerden biri

Det var en toppen semester i alanya

Öncelikle otelin konumu çok iyi alanyanın en iyisi oldugunu düşünüyorum ( otel gözlemimde bay personelin egitimsiz oldugunu bütün alanlarda anlaşılıyor buda bizler için çok üzücüdür otelin şeflerinden ömer bey ve burak bey dışında egitimli bir turizimci göremedim eyer kendisi olmasaydı iletişim kurabilecek kimseyi görmek mümkün olmayacaktı yerli ve yabancı misafirlere davranış ilgi alaka kesinlikle kabul edilebilir deyildi daha önce rixos mgc lıfe vb otellerde misafir olarak bulundum gözlem olarak otelinizin tüm personelini acil olarak misafir ilişkilerini anlatılması egitime tabi tutulmasını öneririm bukadar güzelbir otelin bukadar egitimsiz personel olması ciddi bir kayıp ülkemiz ve turizmin bukadar sıkıntı oldugu bir dönemde misafirlere bukadar itici bir agırlama kabul edilemez sizlerin bu konuyu deyerlendir menizi rica ederiz yakın Zaman da tekrar misafir olmak istiyoruz esenle kalınız herşey için tşk ederiz

We were kindly upgraded to a deluxe from a villa, and the room was generally excellent. We had a huge jacuzzi and Internet and A/C worked perfectly, but only in the room. Everywhere else, the A/C and Internet hardly works. You spent hours a day trying to connect to wifi when In reception or by the pool while sweating because the A/C doesn't work anywhere in the hotel except for your room. Also, the food got extremely boring over the 7 days and could generally have been better. Apart from that, I and my kids had a nice time. The gym and pool facilities were decent.

no body speaks English , house keeping is terrible and if they come they are selecting in cleaning it is rates five star should be 3 3.5 star

Hienolla paikalla ja upeat näköalat. Perhesviitti todella iso ja hyvinvarusteltu.

Staff are very welcoming and polite, impressive facilities, pools, entertainment, food everything makes it a perfect package..

Had a excellent time - when the weather was bad we had things to do inside the hotel as they had a lot of facilities and entertainment. Liked the free shuttle to the beach and the bus in to town was cheap.

Short stay in a Family size room. Everything was nice. Furniture and things looked a little worn, no surprise. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel was banana farms and shacks. But overall, they had descent food and good service.
