Everything…. From the rooms to the food, there is nothing to dislike…. It is also close to shopping mall where one can easily get food

Everything, stayed here many times over the last 30 years.

Only two cooking hobs in the apartment we had in the old block.

Great value for money, with spacious grounds, good facilities, and a very strategic location. The gym is especially impressive and well equipped.

Although everything was functional, some areas feel dated and could benefit from renovation.

Feels like home from home. Comfortable room and bed. Attentive staff and very well located. Have stayed before and will do so again.

In het algemeen is de personeel heel erg aardig en behulpzaam. En rustig omgeving buiten lawaaierig verkeer.

De kamers en faciliteiten is nodig voor onderhouden om frisse gevoel te krijgen. Het ontbijt mag meer keuze bieden.

we travelled in a large group so this was a great hotel for that. the rooms were simple and comfortable, and the restaurant and bar on site was also a good place to go.

It’s aged, needs upgrading, it seems like it was the place to be 15 years ago however it’s just spacious but not great. I would say the best feature are the staff but for the room prices I would choose another location

Features seem low, breakfast unfortunately not fantastic, then dinner in the evening unevenly cooked. Genuinely it has low standard budget hotel chain. Marriott Europe Hotel room sizes, old Ibis style decor with abandoned low traffic city hotel feel.

Spacious rooms and very caring staff. Everything worked and it felt like home.

Traffic jams to go anywhere. Not unique to this hotel.

I like the Swimming pool and Frienly Stuff .

The Room need a big TLC ( Especially the Decor Bathroom has Stain in Bath Tub , Kitchen look and little bit Old . And The Gym need upgrade

The stay was mostly good once the initial issues were settled, and was a very good value for a specious suite. Ample free parking. I didn't use the pool but it looked decent.

The entire property is past its prime and in need of a renovation. Tower 1 seemed nicer than tower 2, which also had an odor in the lobby. When we arrived the power was out to the unit and I had to go downstairs to get them to flip the breaker. This also meant it was hot and muggy inside. It took the AC a good while to cool off like it hadn't been run for a while. The room was decent for the money, though worn out and not exactly clean, but very spacious. The beds were quite firm, which is fine if that's your preference. The WiFi was not great.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast variety and the hotel location was fantastic. Easy to walk to places or order gojek.

Could use some better sound proofing between the older apartments/hallway. But the soundproofing to outside was great.

Pictures do not represent the current state of the hotel. It is an excellent location if attending events at JIS, but it is old and not like the pictures anymore.

Room very old and doesn’t look like the pictures showed in Expedia.

Ruim en schoon appartement. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het eten in het restaurant was heerlijk. Locatie oke. Prijs kwaliteit prima. Aanrader. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

1ste appartement het kookstel was wat verpuderd. 2de appartement prima alleen lekte de koelkast. Achter de nachtkastjes en dressoir mag wel wat beter schoongemaakt worden

Das Hotel bietet Luxus zum günstigen Preis. Die Austattung des Apartments (mit Herd, Badewanne, und großem Wohn-und Essbereich), das zuvorkommende und zahlreiche Personal, die grünen und fischreichen Außenbereiche, die vielen Extras (Massage, Gym, Pool, Spa etc) vermitteln das Gefühl von Luxus. Vor allem der Pool mit Kinderbereich und ausrangierter Poolbar hat uns sehr gefallen.

Das Hotel wirkt teilweise als hätte es seine besten Tage schon hinter sich. Die Poolbar war geschlossen und es sah so aus, als wär das schon länger so. Der Spielraum für die Kinder war fast das gesamte Wochenende zu. Auch in unseren Räumen gab es einige Hinweise darauf, dass der Service höhere Priorität hat als die Instandhaltung (Flecken in der Badewanne zB).

I came with 3 kids to the hotel for a 3 nights transit in Jakarta. Was surprised there were several kids activity arranged during those days. Kids really enjoyed it. The hotel is also strategically situated close to Pondok Indah Mall and Cilandak Town Square avoiding long traffic jam when having some appointment with friends.

The Hotel Kristal is still one of my favorite places to stay. I've been traveling to Indonesia for work for over 20 years. For all my Jakarta trips, I stay at the Kristal. In the past it has been a bit of an icon for the expat community (Satu Lagi bar, close to JIS, etc). But overall there is a very relaxed vibe, good food, terrific staff, and excellent guest care that has made the hotel 'my home away from home' for all these years. The hotel is in need of a refresher, but it remains a very clean and good value hotel - for short or long stay; 3.5/5 Stars. It is in S.Jakarta but close to two MRT stations - so easy access to SCBD etc....and you avoid the dreaded traffic 'macet' of getting into central Jakarta. But where the hotel scores 5/5, is it's staff - always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Special mention to some staff for being so kind and attentive over many years: the ladies in the Deli Cafe (Rini, Elsa, Kiki and Tri), front desk (Dwi and Bella), and front lobby (Indra, Taufik & Yusuf). So, if you want a very good stay in Jakarta at a local hotel - give the Kristal a try.
