We have just returned home from 5 nights at the Hotel Fanis in Agia Anna. We had an absolutely wonderful time at the hotel. Thank you to Katerina and her family for a looking after us to the highest standard, from the moment we arrived in Naxos to when we departed. We highly recommend the sea front rooms for the 5 star luxury experience. Great outside space on the large balcony, amazing sea views and the hot tub is the perfect way to relax as the sun sets. The room is tastefully decorated, spacious and had everything we needed during our stay. There is a large shower with powerful hot water supply. Bar Bloom is also the perfect place for brunch, lunch, afternoon snacks and refreshments throughout the day. We are already planning a return visit!

This is an absolute gem of a hotel. We have stayed in Agia Anna on Naxos, several times, but hotel Fanis is by far the best. We had an amazing see view room with jacuzzi hot tub. The hotel is ideally located for days on the wonderful beach at Anna. The room was spacious, clean and has great design features. The pool is a peaceful place to relax away from the beach. The staff really make the whole hotel experience special. Bar Bloom has a great selection of drinks and menu is perfect.

We loved having a pool that we could escape to when the beach was too busy or windy. The owner was incredible with communication and friendliness, they picked us up and dropped us to the port. The rooms were comfortable and pretty large.

Pool hours only start from 10am, shower doesn’t drain very quickly

Hotel Fanis is in a great location , just steps from the beach and in the middle of resort . The room was large and spacious and very clean . There is a fridge and area to prepare light snacks if needed . The host Katerina welcomed us and and made sure we got to our ferry in good time . Greek hospitality at its best

Our studio was modern and exactly like the pictures. Katerina was a wonderful host, very accommodating and ready to help in any situation.

Good location

Hotel Fanis offers clean, comfortable, and nicely sized rooms. The rooms are newly renovated, though there are a few small issues—for example, the hand sink is located outside the bathroom, which isn’t very convenient. Some additional touches, like a luggage stand or a full-length mirror, would enhance the experience. Our host was very hospitable and always available, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk to one of Naxos’s best beaches, Agia Anna.

That there is no stand for luggages

We had a fabulous time at Hotel Fanis. The hotel is situated right on Agia Anna beach which has so many restaurants and cafes nearby. Breakfast was not included but we found some lovely local spots very close by to enjoy breakfast each morning. We booked a mix of rooms and they were all excellent value for money. All rooms were cleaned every day and the pool was also very clean. Katerina our host was so helpful with everything and we look forward to coming back again soon!

The host and cleaning staff is very friendly! They help you with everything and we got new towels and a cleaned room each day. Free transfer to the ferry was arranged. We had the biggest balcony and that was a great asset. The pool and shower is salt water. Very nearby the beach and restaurants (2min walk). It is really a great pool and own spacious parking

The beach is very crowded and all next to a busy street, nothing the accomodation can do about but we were a bit surprised by it. Very clear sea water but the beach is not so clean.

First of all Katerina was extremely friendly and sweet, she made our whole stay so much better! She had us picked up from the port and dropped us off when we were departing. We stayed in both of the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and Sea View rooms and they were both so comfortable and we loved the decor in the room. The terrace and view for both of the rooms were great! The only thing that was missing was a full body mirror, I can't think of anything else. The proximity to the beach was amazing, you just cross the road and the beach is right there, only a 2 minute walk. The hotel had it's own beach loungers and service from the hotel and the food and drinks were great. The young guys that were serving us on the beach were extremely friendly and funny and very attentive, we enjoyed our time on the beach. When we are back in Naxos, we definitely will be staying here again. Thank you once again for giving us a memorable beach vacation.

Can't think of anything significant. If you aren't in your room, the AC won't work but this is common in Europe and is done for Energy conservation. When you first go into your room it is hot but the AC cools the room pretty quickly.

Exactly like the pictures. Staff very kind and offered to pick us up at the port! Location perfect between Agios and Plaka and bus stop 2 minutes away, no car needed but we did rent bikes to go to Mikri Vigla

The kitchen could have more tools for cooking and the ac is a bit noisy but overall is great for the money

Amazing hotel at a beautiful and less crowded spot along Agia Anna beach. Our luxury suite was picture perfect, we enjoyed every moment that we spent there. The hotel reservations manager Katerina was such a sweet person, helping us with a lot of details in order to make our holiday perfect. Will return here one day!

Some of the hotel rooms were a bit outdated (not ours), but it does not come as a suprise as you can clearly see that in pictures. I highly recommend the suite!

It was a very beautiful stay. The hotel is very close to the beach. The pool is magnificent, just a bit cool in September. The staff was very nice.

The shower was very small and spilled on to the bathroom floor. Also there wasn’t a bracket to hold the shower head which was awkward to use.

Everything! It is a very quiet place, near to the beach, maybe 3-5 minute far from it and the restaurants, mini market. The host is super nice woman, as well as the other stuff. They have daily room cleaning service. The pool is also nice, clean and good temperature. Room had everything, it was super clean and calm. Also, before coming in the hotel i read that WIFI was bad, but during our visit it was quiet strong while the hotel had a lot of guests. There was no issue in this hotel, which felt very comfortable.

The host was amazing and organized a free transfer from the port and then we got early access to our room. The pool was also amazing! Finally, the housekeeping was very detailed and thorough!

The location was unbeatable! On one of the best beaches on Naxos! And Katarina is the best! She was helpful in every way possible! She made our stay magical.

My kids room was a little on the older side and there were issues with WiFi connectivity there which made it difficult for them to get some work done. The bathroom in that unit was on the older side.

Very sweet hotel owner. Everything was clean, we are satisfied. We will surely come there someday.

Convenient location near restaurants, close to a mini mart and bus stop. beautiful pool area and the room was a nice size for three people. Staff were absolutely fantastic with rooms cleaned daily, transport from port, laundry service offered (additional fee), beach towel provided upon request and able to provide recommendations on local sites and attractions. Katerina was an absolute star and was super lovely and helpful throughout our stay.

Everything was fantastic. note the shower is small and shower curtain - as per typical European accomodation, may be a problem for larger guests/males however was fine for us adult females.

The Fanis provided pick up at check in from the ferry port also dropped off early the day of check out to meet our next ferry destination at no cost. (5 Stars and Thank you)

The WiFi signal the Fanis Hotel provided was very weak and signal dropped out every couple of minutes. We had to get closer to the front desk check in office for a stronger signal. The Hanis Hotel office was always closed and no immediate and or physical contact was rendered. We had to look for host or call for immediate concerns or assistance. Complimentary breakfast should be included or at least a continental breakfast all for the price of the room. The amenities were poor and did not replace. Towels were very hard and coursed. Swimming pool towels were frayed and of poor quality. No trash can on main room, there was a small trash can in bathroom and no extra bags. The whole Fanis Hotel complex lost power for an hour and a few minutes. It became very stuffy, very hot and sticky very quickly due to the was no a/c. The Fanis Hotel should have on site a backup generator unit(s) should the power goes out for whatever reason. Or perhaps have a comfortable large space/room which is has a generator linked for comfort. Then offer patron(customers) a space for comfortability during such an event transpired.

Facilities were extremely clean and beautiful hotel grounds. Pool is lovely. So close to the beach. My room was very spacious and comfortable. Katerina was extremely hospitable and kind, good communication and helpful.

Wifi in my room didn’t work very well, to get reception I had to leave my room. Blanket provided was a bit stiff and uncomfortable.

Quick service tasty menu for the beach, sun-beds and all in reasonable prices We will visit again for sure !

Everything was extremely good. Very nice, cosy, clear and well equipped room with balcony faced to swimming pool. The center is 5 minutes on walk with very friendly and unique restaurants, coffees, shops, scooter/quad rental. The closest minimarket, restaurant, coffee, beach 50 m from accomodation. Katerina and her husband were very polite and helpful, they've served free transfer from and to the harbor. Thanks everything, we enjoyed our staying in Naxos and in Hotel Fanis. It was one of our best vacation! Excellent, definitely we will go back!

We had an amazing time in Naxos thanks largely to the wonderful stay at the Fanis Hotel. Katerina, the owner, was very helpful with lifts to and from the port and nothing was ever a problem for her. Beautiful apartments were cleaned every day and towels/bedding replaced. Location perfect for beaches, taverns, markets. Bus stop is also nearby for trips around Naxos. Can't wait to return again soon!

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Fanis. Katerina and her family were so helpful and considerate. We loved our Seaview room with the outdoor tub. The breakfast was fabulous every morning and transport to and from the port was complimentary and really appreciated. Hotel Fanis is the perfect place for couples and families to enjoy Agia Anna.

WiFi and phone connection wasn't very strong in our room.

The bed was very uncomfortable, the air conditioning didn’t work properly ,no garbage in kitchen except for the bags we got buying groceries. It was listed as family friendly but I did not experience that feeling. Would not stay there again.

Awesome location and staff. Close to the beach, super market, and several restaurants. We were transported to/from the port upon arrival/departure (incl. in the price).

The beds are extremely hard and short. My husband is 192cm and had a hard time sleiping. The Wi-Fi was also of poor quality.

We had 12 wonderful nights here in August, there were four of us in a family room, which was very comfortable and nicely furnished, and cleaned everyday. We had a lovely balcony with view of sea, pool, mountains. Pool itself is beautiful and never too busy. Overall layout of the studios is very attractive and there is a very welcoming, friendly atmosphere and the owners are extremely helpful. The location is also fantastic, right on a lovely stretch of beach, and the area generally is nice and laid back, plenty catering for holiday makers but still quiet and not too touristy. Overall, highly recommended.

We spent 10 days in this hotel and everything was perfect during our staying. The hotel is practically on to the fantastic Agis Ana beach, the room was very comfortable, with a direct view of the internal pool and of the sea, and as well it was cleaned every day including the towels change. We also appreciated the kindness and attention of Katerina and his family, owners of the hotel, towards the guests, and definitely this is an hotel that I would recommend for spending your holidays.

You've read it all before this review but I'll just emphasis what has been said. We literally just left and I can't recommend the place enough. The rooms are absolutely sparkling clean and cleaned every day with fresh towels and sheets. Air con in the room too which was brilliant. We didn't even use the pool but it was clean with sun beds. Why use the pool Though if the beach was arms length away. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and transported us from port and back again on the day we were leaving. Everything on your door step. Bus stop bout 100m away to travel around the island. Location is excellent if you want away from port. On the beach front in Agia Anna. Hustle and bustle of port is really good but we thoroughly enjoyed Agia Anna. Couldn't recommend this place enough. If you stay you won't regret it!!! Thanks to everyone there too that made our stay so enjoyable.

Fanis was shocking at first, since our family had just come from a very fancy hotel in another island. There are no amenities in your room, the water isn't drinkable and we had to buy beach towels. However, the hotel grow on us after one night! It was extremely peaceful and took us back to a simpler life. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff was very attentive. The pool was very nice and the magnificent beach was across the street. A lot of restaurants within walking distance in Agia Anna and neighboring towns. Pick up and drop off at the port are included and the owner's son booked us a rental car to visit Naxos.

One of the most VFM hotels I've ever been, just 30 meters away from Agia Anna beach. The pool was in front of our room! Clean room with plenty of space. The beds were comfortable.The stuff was very friendly. WiFi signal was excellent. It's what a hotel should be. Top spot to stay.

Stayed for 2 nights with my partner this summer and what a great place it turned out to be! Fanis was very friendly and helpful with giving us a ride to the hotel room from the local port which is just a few minutes away! The room and bathroom was spotless and the aircondition system effective and quiet at night which helped us get one of the best night sleeps this summer :) the pool was well looked after with crystal clear water and comfortable loungers to relax when needed, although the beach is just 1 minute walk from the room which of course was always our preference during our stay. The bus stop was just outside the hotel with the local bus running every 15 minutes to the town centre for a great night out! All in all, great place to stay and had a wonderful experience. Will be certainly coming back next year for more of everything!

I stayed in Naxos for 3 night at Fanis hotel and I had an amazing time in Naxos. The room was very clean with air conditioning, very near the beach with plenty of restaurants around also very close to the bus stop into town. The pool is very clean and pleasant to hang around if you don't fancy going to the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family.
