Chambre propre, personnel réactif, petit déjeuner varié

Notre chambre etait tres calme, pas des bruits qui affectes notre sommeil. Personnel trea supportif, le petit dejeuner excellant! Une detail etait negative, je vous conseille de nettoyer le toit du building derriere l'hotel parce-que clients(?) ont fume et ont jete des centaines des bouts de cigarettes sur ce toit.

Arrivée tardive mais personnel présent et à l'écoute. Bon établissement.

I booked this hotel solely due to the location near the train station. This was our first time in France and I didn’t want to be wandering the streets of Dunkirk looking for my hotel. Also my French sucks. The pros: incredibly close to the train & bus station which was surprisingly quiet it was at night. The added bonus is that the bus system in Dunkerque is free, and once we figured out what bus we needed to get on to get to the plage & museum, we were golden. We also paid additional for the breakfast, which I compared to what you would pay in the States, was well worth it. We were given hot options (the eggs seemed like they were actually cooked- not that gross stuff from a bag you see in many American hotels) and my son was very pleased. And though we were surprised by three separate twin beds, they were indeed comfortable, so I can’t complain there. CONS: our shower. The drain was clogged up and since it was a walk in, you had to shower, turn off the water, let it drain, and then continue. We were only there one night, and we had already had a bit of a snafu with the language barrier when we checked in, so I didn’t want to complain. At breakfast I realized we were not only the oldest people there, but only one traveling with a kid. I felt like this hotel was one step above a hostel, and had to double check that wasn’t what I booked.

The stay was compared with the price. Not wrong at all

Pros: Across the street from the train station and free city buses. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options. We loved the coffee making machine. Cons: Super small room. We could barely turn around. Room was hot!!! We had the leave all the windows open and deal with the bugs. I did get a small fan from the front desk. But too hot anyhow. I wouldn't stay there during the summer.

The rooms were very small. We had one on the main floor and it was very noisy. You would expect this to happen across the street from the train station. However, a small, small room and noisy noisy.

Hotel très à agréable mais il n'y avait qu'une seule chaise dans la chambre pour deux personnes. Il n'y avait qu'une seule serviette pour deux personnes également. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, le personnel est très agréable et l'hôtel est très calme.

Very convenient position near the train station.

The breakfast area was rather small and packed. Besides the many sweet breadspreads there were only 2 types of cheese to choose, no other charcuterie to choose from.

Hôtel situé en face de la gare, bien insonorisé, propre et en bon état. Petit déjeuner basique. Quartier fréquentation moyen (devant la gare...). Personnel efficace et sympathique.

Très bon emplacement, chambre très calme. Proche du centre-ville, du port et des bus gratuits. Pas loin de la mer (bus ou à pied).

Nous avons eu quelques difficultés d'accès avec une arrivée de la police. Le GPS n'a pas été mis à jour suite aux travaux. Jeunes bruyants sur la place

Chambre quadruple : on dort à 20 cm des enfants on était alignés à 4 comme dans un dortoir, le prix était bien celui d'une chambre familiale pourtant... Petit déjeuner : brioche sèche, craquottes molles, viennoiseries immangeables et trop cuites (dures, décongelées au four peut être ?).

Hôtel convenable pour une nuit n'en demande pas plus , le seul bémol c'était le lit un peu dur , et qui grince beaucoup .le petit-déjeuner en buffet à volonté était correct (bacon ,œuf brouillé, viennoiserie un peu sèche quand même mais bon ,café ...)

Room was supposed to have coffee machine and for boiling water, but ours certainly did not. It was dirty, from floors, to dust and doors, with some fluids visible. For 3 days, the floor was not cleaned once. Breakfast did not have warm food as their grill was not working, but they suggested to use microwave to warm up cooked eggs and bacon. Localization is quite central, but sometimes, as it is on the bus station and next to train station there were homless people next to entrance.

Staff very helpful, had bikes and was able to keep in room, good continental breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful but the room was not as I would expect. I didn‘t like the stains on the floor and on the shower curtain and the broken soap dispenser. The area around the hotel was quiet noisy. Also the possibilities for getting any snacks or drinks were quiet spare. There was a snack vending machine with sweets and drinks but it didn’t work or the staff hadn’t any key. All in all the stay didn‘t fit the price.

Really nice and friendly economy hotel situated right opposite the bus and train station and a short walk to the marina. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were really good considering the price. I would definitely stay again.

Le personnel (surtout Astrid) a été d'une gentillesse énorme. Le seul point négatif a été que la chambre n' a pas été faite le samedi, quand je suis rentrée le samedi soir, le lit n'avait pas été fait ni la poubelle vidée.C'est inadmissible. J'espère un dédommagement. D'avance merci. Nelly Sikora

Das Zimmer war schön etwas runtergekommen. Für 1 Nacht war es OK.

Chambre confortable et au calme. Très proche des bus gratuits. Port, plage et centre-ville accessibles à pied en marchant un peu. Seul bémol: vue sur la cour pas terrible.

Le personnel est souriant, très accueillant, les chambres sont propres. Parfait pour passer une nuit avant de prendre le train le lendemain. Je le recommande

Thank you for make the stay great, it was a stop over to go to disney, the hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly. The train station is over the road from the hotel that took us to disney. There is a free car park which i stayed in for 4 days with no issues for free, there is plenty of takeaways around the hotels, i would stay here again 😀

Que la chambre en soit ça va, aucun gant de toilette a notre disposition, l’acceuil pas ouf, nous devons censée rendre la chambre pour 12h00 et à 11h30 on n’a été mit dehors par la femme de ménage.

La chambre était grande ainsi que la salle de bain

El lavabo estaba en muy malas condiciones.

Personnel très accueillant et très avenant. Petit couac pour les gobelets dans la chambre (1 on était 2) et manque de viennoiseries le dimanche (juste un petit détail, rien de méchant) sinon, super séjour et hôtel bien calme.

Séjour plutôt satisfaisant à part le faites que les des personnes on toquer à la porte vers 10h alors que le départ était à 12h si on super séjour personnel agréable etc

Fenêtre cassée, on entend les trains ainsi que les gens qui sont alcoolisés et sdf enfin pas un bon souvenir pour un secteur comme celui-ci

Beaucoup de flux pour l'enregistrement. Accueil très petit et beaucoup de temps d'attente. Cela mériterait une 2e personne aux enregistrement. Un peu déçue du petit déjeuner qui reste très minimaliste en choix. Hôtel propre.

Nouveau séjour dans cet hôtel face à la gare et vraiment très facile d'accès. Les chambres sont rénovées et agréables. Le service tient compte des demandes faites en amont, et c'est vraiment appréciable. distributeurs de friandises et autres disponibles avec micro onde, ce qui est bien pratique lorsque le train arrive tard.

The place is very clean. Good location as well. It's just across the train station + city bus station

Hotel is not air conditioned, rooms are very hot, windows only open 4" and its right next to the central station which means that through that 4" window gap that does not allow enough air circulation to cool the room, you hear the noisy drunk locals fighting and braking into the cars left overnight.

Goed hotel, ligging in het centrum direct bij het station. Ontbijt was goed, maar niet overdadig.

Stayed for one night before returning to the tunnel after a week touring Belgium and northern France, great location near station and free parking nearby, breakfast very limited but ok would probably stay again

Great location central friendly staff all spoilt by the disappearance of something from the room, reported straight away but by the time I was contacted I was back in the UK to be told I need to report to the police in France various e mails but the hotel have been unhelpful. Never again sorry

Front desk attendant was extremely helpful, she went out of her way to help us navigate about town. Awesome

It was very central for my needs and the car parking was free. The staff were extremely good and helpful.

Hotel was well positioned and comfortable. The shower was also good! It was difficult to find parking initially and the room would benefit from hot drinks facilities

very disappointed in this hotel, very poor location, very spartan rooms, no wardrobe, no tea and coffee facilities, machine in the hall with coffee for 2 euro pp but only ever gave half a cup ! one pillow each and just a lump of something in a pillow case but bedding and towels clean and a very good breakfast .

The location was perfect for our one night stay. The room was clean, spacious and light with a nice view of the square. The bed was somewhat harder than we are used to, but we slept well. If we ever stay there again, we will bring hand towels, wash cloths, kleenex and toilet paper. We did not run out of toilet paper, but it was dispensed from a small box and we couldn't tell how much was left. The bath towels were small, but adequate for the shower. The staff members were very pleasant and the desk was manned 24 hours. (The confirmation we had from the hotel told us that the desk was only manned from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM and if you came outside those hours you should arrange for special entrance to the hotel or wait until morning. Since our train was on time and got there at 7:30 we were OK with that time, but happy that it was actually manned all the time.) The breakfast was quite good even had some hot sausages and eggs plus croissants, yogurt, cereal, milk etc. If we had a short stay in Dunkirk we might stay there again.

Right next to railway station but no noise. Had room 203 which was spacious. Always felt safe and restaurants 5 minutes walk at mall. Breakfast was good. This hotel is perfect for an overnight stay

Nice hotel very clean rooms friendly helpful staff, English spoken to a good degree. Breakfast very nice, very reasonably priced.

arrived mid afternoon ,loads of building work going on around the hotel, reception staff very help full about parking in the free P+R parking at the station opposite. Room very nice and basic was not a problem for us but the way it reads their is air con in the room but its down stairs in the reception/dinning area. The work-men started work at 7am so a nice alarm call.Breakfast basic continental , but no ham or cheese . but had scrambled egg and bacon.

Small family rooms, bathroom didn’t look very clean.

A down to earth property with basic amenities, courteous staff very helpful. Unfortunately the Gare/Railway hub upgrade currently underway leaves the property in the debris of a construction site in current heatwave conditions we would have likes an air flow/breeze opportunity. Noise of railway not as bad as distressed locals(?) screaming at their companions between construction hours! Maybe worth revisiting in 2019 or when fitted with air conditioning.

bathroon stank of urine like a poorly cleaned public bathroom. A dirty shower curtain etc. We couldnt keep the door to the bathroom open. In this heat (july 2018) room had no A/C. There is also construction going on around the train station spreading to the hotel entrance so there was no pavement leading to the hotel. Major inconvenience not being able to pull auitcases ip to the entrance plus clothes and luggage got really dusty. How hard can it be for the staff to hose down the entrance a feelw times a day to get the dust to settle...

Friendly staff, clean hotel, location great. Only thing i would suggest is tea/coffee facilities in the room would be a good idea.

This 2 star hotel is closer to a 3. The breakfast is worth the addon.

Massive redevelopement of bus station around hotel causing multiple road closures, making it very difficult to find hotel in a vehicle. Free parking was 500m away, but because of road closures, getting close to drop off passengers and luggage involved parking illegally in the half completed bus station, before negotiating a way back to the parking. Hotel a little tired, but reception staff friendly enough. Room facilities were basic, with uncomfortable beds.

My wife and I have stayed in your hotel many times and can not fault it. The rooms are great and the breakfast is very good as is the civility of your staff

A reasonably priced budget B&B just opposite the Dunkerque Railway Station. Spoiled a bit by the massive roadworks being carried out and the nearby roads with deviation signs was a but chaotic.

The hotel is surrounded by construction you have to ride through bus station which is illegal to reach hotel you need to warn guests as sat nav won’t get you their.

Straightforward and business like. Everything went very smoothly. Sensibly priced breakfast. No frills but functional.

Why oh why can't they provide pillows?! The pillows privided(one each) were flat worn and uncomfortable. I did not sleep because of the discomfort. When asking for an extra Ollie I was treated with disdain. However the breakfast was fine.

Staff was friendly, and rooms suited our needs. It's right next to the bus/train station and to be honest as we walked to our restaurant later that night, the neighborhood felt a tad sketchy.

Free parking (Only parking) is over a block away, through a construction area. Across the street from the train station and a Bus Depot. Very noisy in the evening but does quiet down late at night. Wifi shuts off if phone goes to sleep.....if you aren't continuously using it.

Near everything, lovely staff especially Clement. Spotlessly clean quiet despite being opposite the station loved this place and really really comfy beds.

Overnight stay. Staff more than helpful. Opposite station but no noise problem. The whole area is being regenerated, roads up etc. Few minutes walk to shops and restaurants.

Stayed for one night on our way to ferry, from Dunkirk to Dover, to break the journey.

Rooms have a good sized ensuite and are comfortable if a little spartan, but for the prix this is more than acceptable. The shower was excellent, the view not so much - but then again this hotel does not claim to be anything more than functional. Smartly presented, don't come much better for the money.

Very convenient location within easy walking distance of the centre of Dunkirk. Cheap room cost. Room was adequate in all respects. Specific comments: 1) Our room was at the front of the hotel, so lots of noise from the street and the railway station opposite. There was no air conditioning, so we couldn't leave the windows closed. 2) The hotel had no parking, but the station car park opposite was free between 6pm and 9am. 3) The breakfast included bacon and scrambled egg, so was better than the continental breakfast advertised and very good value.
