Hotel Babula am Augarten

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The Ukrainian girl at the reception was especially nice and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. There is also a lovely cafe at the hotel where you can have a really tasty meal. Everything was delicious!

The restaurant and breakfast that we tried was very good, the staff were friendly. The room was big and clean.

The room was half-dark and stuffy, because the window was looking to the airshaft. The location was not convenient. For most of the places to go via public transportation, you needed transfers. It is walkable to the staatsoper and cathedral though. We walked a lot (same amount of time as public transport). Bike rental would be a good idea, next time!

Very reasonably priced. A bit spartan, just the essentials, but all the essentials are there. Location is very practical near Praterstern and Tabor gasse. The staff is friendly and responds to my needs. I had lunch after checkout at the restaurant in the lobby, an omelette on rye bread with some greens and white cheese. Yummy and healthy.

The shower was not as well equipped as more sxpensive hotels in Vienna and nearby. The shower head was rudimentary by comparison, the bathtub sink water flow was ok but slow, there were no tissues offered, and the shower liquid soap was rudimentary.

La ubicación, cerca de todo. La habitación era grande con mobiliario adecuado. Por suerte tenía Aire acondicionado. El personal muy atento.

Pulizia non adeguata, nonostante gli asciugamani venissero cambiati ogni qual volta si rifaceva la camera, non veniva passato l'aspirapolvere o la scopa perciò la camera nel complesso risultava non particolarmente pulita, impossibilità di oscurare la grande finestra presente sul soffitto pertanto già dalla mattina presto entrava troppa luce

Mi e piaciuto la cortesia del personale ma anche farci trovare gli asciugamani puliti tutte le mattine, la stanza e il bagno puliti e inoltre si trova in una zona ben servita sia dai mezzi di trasporto ma anche per i supermercati .

Sicuramente la moquette nella stanza e il fatto che non ci fosse un minifrigo visto il caldo avere la possibilità di conservare acqua in frigo fa la differenza

Camera grande ed accogliente, bagno con vasca, letto comodissimo, aria condizionata, minimal ma con tutto il necessario a disposizione. Receptionist cordiali e disponibili. Hotel pulito, in posizione ottimale a pochi minuti dalla metro e con tram e autobus che passano proprio difronte. Se tornerò a Vienna, pernotterò sicuramente li.

The room was large, beautiful and spacious. The linens actually smelled so good. It’s not every day you go to bed that smells so nice and inviting.

Room was not particularly quiet. Soundproofing was not so good as the next door guests were very loud until very late.

We went during heatwave period, there was a fan but we didn’t feel the air, so was very difficult to stay in the room. For 3 people the room was so small. It maybe I chose the wrong room. No cupboards, Tea/coffee or Kattle but there were 3 bottles of water for 2 nights

Nice design, room had windows with normal view. Bed was comfortable and room was spacious. Bathroom was nice. I liked the free bubbled water in the fridge. Nice and quiet area. Location was very convenient for me.

There were a few times during my weekend stay that the elevator wasn't accessible. Either cause there were other people waiting in front of me (elevator is small) or someone was using it on another floor or I don't know why. I had my room on 3rd floor so it was ok, had I had it on 6th I would be super annoyed. I would appreciate hair conditioner and slippers (they were supposed to be in the room). My breakfast experience was so-so. I waited 25 min for my egg Benedict, even though it was only me and some other table that already had their food. And it was a bit too salty and egg was done too hard - the yolk was not liquid. And it was quite expensive and small. So in the end Lidl was a better choice for breakfast :<

Bardzo duszno w pokoju. Okna nie można otworzyć bo widok z niego na komin wentylacyjny z kuchni oraz śmietnik. Pizza którą zamówiliśmy dla dzieci była tak ostra że nie nadawała się do jedzenia. Brak czajnika w pokoju.

La habitación tenía aire acondicionado pero no enfriaba, a pesar de estar puesto toda la noche hacía mucho calor en la habitación, por lo demás bien.

La struttura e in un punto strategico, vicino alla metro,zona tranquilla. Non hanno parcheggio, ma si trova facilmente in zona.

Le camere del hotel NON sono insonorizzate e si sentiva tutto dalla camera adiacente con rumori poco "racomandabili' alle 3 di notte, che e molto sgradevole generalmente, ma per una famiglia con bambini ancora di più 😒 La pulizia lascia a desiderare .

Nada, reservé dos noches y la primera tuve que dormir en la entrada del Hotel, por que el recepcionista se marchó antes de la hora. Después de reclamar esto, me engañaron, diciendo que me devolverían el importe correspondiente a esa noche, cosa que nunca hicieron y tanto Booking como Paypal, se lavaron las manos, dejándome por tonto. No volveré a usar Booking ni volveré a pagar con Paypal y mucho menos volvería a este hotel, sucio, viejo y con mala gestión y condición humana.

No respondieron a mis mensajes informando de que llegaría tarde. Te dicen que la recepción abre hasta las 04:00h p.m , pero es mentira y te dejan en la calle. Luego reclamas y te mienten diciendo que te reembolsaran, cosa que no sucede...en fin, no se trata así al turista. Lo único destacable es la actitud del joven recepcionista. El Hotel es viejo, el personal maleducado, no limpian y está todo sucio...no lo recomiendo y viajo mucho con mochila, así que no soy quisquilloso. En fin, si te hospedas aquí suerte.

Radiátor poros, rég nem takarították, ágy alatt sok kosz volt, a szőnyegpadló nagyon elavult, cserére szorul. A tér tiszta, a fürdő tiszta, de a felújítás időszerű.

Estado de la habitación, una alfombra en muy mal estado, paredes sucias y bastante telarañas. La puerta de la habitación no cerraba bien. El baño no estaba bien limpio cuando llegamos. Los colchones también, muy viejos.

I had a really good stay and I’m very happy with the experience. The room was really clean and well looked after, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. I also really liked the location. The area is quiet and peaceful, but very well connected to the city centre. In my opinion, it’s actually a much better option than staying right in the centre of Vienna, as you get a quieter place to stay while still being able to get everywhere easily. We also had a problem with our bus during the trip, and the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and did everything they could to sort it out for us. We really appreciated that! Overall, I’m very happy with the hotel and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

All'arrivo il personale è stato accogliente e disponibile dandoci tutte le informazioni necessarie. L'hotel molto carino e pulito, ottimo l'asciugacapelli funzionante in bagno. Il ristorante per colazione e pizza alla sera un ottimo punto a loro favore perché alla colazione ci sono anche sconti per gli ospiti dell'hotel e la pizza alla sera è davvero ottima (utile se si fa il check in tardi- ricordarsi che a Vienna molti ristoranti chiudono alle 22). Ventilatore in camera che può aiutare con il caldo.

Tappeti poco puliti nei corridoi. La vista inesistente visto che dava sul retro dell'hotel.

The location is on point, short walk to the U bahn and trams. Rooms are clean and well fitted. Staff are attentive but not intrusive. My go to hotel in Vienna

- Quarto espaçoso - Bom banheiro - Ótima limpeza

A hospedagem falhou em atender as necessidades dos hóspedes diante das condições meteorológicas. Pouco antes da nossa estadia, uma onda forte de calor passou pela Europa, o que acontece com cada vez mais frequência e maior intensidade. A temperatura da região estava altíssima, outras hospedagens entenderam isso e fizeram as acomodações necessárias para o conforto dos hóspedes, menos o Hotel Babula. Primeiro, nós tentamos mudar para um quarto com ar condicionado, mas os funcionários disseram que não havia disponibilidade, sendo que eu vi no site que havia pelo menos um quarto disponível no momento do pedido. Se foi má-vontade ou falha no gerenciamento das plataformas de reserva, eu não sei, de qualquer forma houve uma falha. A segunda falha foi não ter ventiladores suficientes para oferecer o mínimo de conforto. Em outra hospedagem que ficamos antes dessa, sabendo que se fazia necessário, colocaram 3 ventiladores no quarto, nem foi necessário pedir por isso. O Hotel Babula nos deixou com apenas um, que ainda era fraco. Foi extremamente desconfortável dormir ali. A terceira situação negativa foi que o quarto não dispunha de um frigobar, então não tínhamos como manter geladas as nossas garrafas de água, algo essencial para nos mantermos hidratados diante de temperaturas tão altas; por conta disso, pedimos gelo, mas os funcionários do hotel e do café da recepção disseram que não tinha gelo. Mais uma vez, se foi má-vontade ou falha de gestão, não sei, mas foi outra falha. Nós sabemos perfeitamente que o hotel não é responsável pelo clima da cidade no período da nossa estadia, mas ele é sim responsável por se adaptar ao clima e às necessidades dos hóspedes quando esse clima é algo recorrente, é responsável pela forma como lida com os hóspedes e pelo que faz para atenuar o problema e oferecer algum conforto. E, nesse aspecto, o hotel Babula falhou. Foi incrivelmente decepcionante.

Sehr gerümiges Zimmer, sowie Badezimmer. Würde ich empfehlen auch für mehrere Nächte

Ganz schwer einen Parkplatz zu finden, mann mus sehr doll aufpassen, sonst wird man abgeschleppt. Fahrstuhl ist sehr klein, steht für 3 Personen aber denke eher für 2 (Platzmangel).

Útulný, čistý pokoj, krásně voňavé ložní prádlo. Ručníky i mýdlo k dispozici. Skvělá dostupnost do centra metrem, stanice metra cca 5 minut chůze. Možnost snídaní přímo v hotelu.

Škoda, že pokoj nemá klimatizaci. Na pokoji jsou větráky, ale v horkém letním počasí nemusí stačit.

L'hotel stava in una buona posizione ed era collegato con molti bus/tram/metro per poi andare verso il centro città. All'entrata era possibile usufruire di bottigliette d'acqua gratuitamente.

Dopo che abbiamo fatto il check-in e abbiamo visto le condizioni della nostra stanza siamo rimaste un po' sconcertate. la stanza aveva un odore chiuso di polvere, le pareti erano sporche e agli angoli dei muri c'era un po' di muffa, anche le prese si vedeva che erano un po' vecchie ed erano piene di polvere. In generale la pulizia non era il loro forte. Anche il bagno non era dei migliori ma era passabile. Abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile cambiare la stanza e per fortuna la ragazza presente alla reception è stata gentile da offrirci un'altra stanza messa un po' meglio e un po' più grande. L'unica nota negativa della seconda stanza era il rumore del parquet (nonostante fosse coperto da moquette) che ogni volta che facevi un passo faceva tanto baccano.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was spacious and everything was clean and fresh. The location is convenient and quiet. The staff are very nice, polite, and helpful.

The only day we stayed the elevator was not working, so going up all the stairs was a bit tiresome, but they worked hard to solve it as soon as possible.

La posizione e il prezzo sono sicuramente i punti di forza della struttura. Inoltre, la vicinanza alla metropolitana rende molto comodi e veloci gli spostamenti.

La moquette della stanza, però, era sporca in diversi punti, tanto che non me la sono mai sentita di camminarci a piedi nudi. Anche il bagno risulta un po’ datato: il piatto doccia presentava alcune macchie qua e là che, più che alla scarsa pulizia, sembravano dovute all’usura e all’età.

El servicio- personal , pedimos un cambio de habitación por un problema de alergia a los ácaros porque la habitación estaba moquetada y sin ningún problema nos la cambiaron y desde aquí comunicarles que estamos muy agradecidos.

The rooms are awful. The floor is terrible—it creaks so much that you feel like it’s going to break. The carpet is old and dirty. There is no air conditioning, and the bathroom is very small.

Stile molto particolare e connessa con pizzeria molto famosa e sembra buona. Reception chiarissima e gentilissima, ha spiegato tutto e perfino suggerito come e dove parcheggiare. Posizione ideale per muoversi senza dover prendere la macchina.

La stanza era stata preparata ma non era abbastanza pulita. Sulla moquette appena entrati e per tutta la stanza erano presenti evidenti macchie di liquidi di vario tipo, resti di cibo e altre briciole erano presenti vicino ai letti. Il bagno soddisfava le necessità ma la vasca è danneggiata, il muro anche presenta macchie: il bagno puzzava di qualcosa chimico e ciliegia che invadeva nella stanza. L'aerazione della stanza è pessima, anche con il ventilatore in dotazione non si muoveva un filo d'aria e nei giorni di heatwave proprio Una tortura dormire. Se fossi un manager dell' albergo mi vergognerei a permettere che venga assegnata una stanza in condizioni simili.

Es war soweit alles gut, die Lage auch und der Prater ist schnell zu erreichen. Sauberkeit der Sanitären anlage und die Zimmer sind ok. Gegen die Hitze wurden Ventilatoren berreit gestellt.

Keine Klimaanlage gegen die Hitze im Zimmer. Schimmel in der Dusche. Preis und leistung ist nicht gerechtfertigt

The room was spacious and had everything we’d need. Room was serviced even if we only stayed two nights, so we apologize to the person who cleaned it, as they must have found it a total mess. New towels were also provided. We tried the pizza restaurant and pizza was fabulous. Location is great, especially if you have a car.
