Beautiful surroundings! Very peaceful. Be sure to request a winery tour!!

Superb views, bungalow was good. Eat in the restaurant two nights which was good value. Lovely swimming pool.

Some attention needed to the balcony decking needed. Ok for us but very narrow steep approach if anyone unsure of driving and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Not very much going on in Provesende.

It actually looks better than in the photos. The panorama is great from the small houses. Everything looks very nice and clean. It's also very convenient to have dinner there and really enjoy the quiet atmosphere and the great view.

Espaço, limpeza, pequeno almoço muito bom.

Jantar muito banal. Foi servido um prato de bacalhau assado de fraca qualidade. Batatas assadas servidas com muita gordura. Sobremesa foi uma porção muita pequena de bolo de bolacha gelado, inferior a um bolo de supermercado.

Aparte mooie kamers. . Ontbijt is prima.

The view from the property was amazing, it was very clean, a good breakfast and great value for money

The rooms were small

The trip from the train- about 20 minutes- is spectacular and worth the 20 euro taxi fare. I don' t think you grasp the full beauty of the area unless you go high up . The trip to this hotel provides that and then you get to experience it as a gorgeous backdrop, especially from the lovely covered veranda. Dinner was excellent- the best cod with cream I have ever had. Breakfast was equally amazing-a bountiful spread of cheeses, pastries, rolls, juices and every other imaginable detail. I still think about the perfect fresh figs. Everything at the hotel is beautifullydesigned; the staff is the best. It deserves the highest rating.

Tout était parfait : endroit calme, très belle vue, le repas servi par l’hôtel était très bon et la chambre était très bien. Parfait pour ceux qui recherchent un endroit calme pour se reposer ou se promener dans les vignes. :)

C’est un village très calme, donc pas forcément pour ceux qui sont à la recherche de beaucoup d’animation, il faut savoir apprécier le calme :)

Wonderful accommodation with incredible views and all the amenities you need to make your stay truly unforgettable. Fillipe does everything possible to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. A big plus is the on-site restaurant, where you can enjoy dinner. They also cooperate with a nearby quinta, where you can experience a wonderful wine tasting. We definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Location at the edge of the small village providense. Spectacular view across the Douro Valley. Nice new bungalows with balconies. Great swimming pool and grounds. Great breakfast.

The staff are a little unfriendly and very strict and rule oriented. There are about 6 rooms and a little Portuguese hospitality would turn this into a spectacular property. Veranda doors do not lock. Seems to be an issue with all rooms. We only are one evening meal as it was poor value. One glass of wine served and out of a box! Yes!! We are in the Douro Valley and they serve box wine!!

La chambre très spacieuse avec vue imprenable sur les vignes, la belle piscine, le petit déjeuner avec fruits frais et pasteis de nata , l'environnement magnifique.

J'aurais bien aimé prendre le petit déjeuner à l'extérieur, mais cela est peut-être difficile pour le service. Le paysage pour aller à Pinhao est splendide, mais la route est un peu difficile si on rentre de nuit .

We loved absolutely everything. The views are amazing, room super comfortable and beautifully decorated. I would recommend having dinner at the Quinta since it’s convenient, you can try excellent wine and the food is delicious. The breakfast is a buffet style with lots of different options for all tastes. We have been here 10 years ago, returned this year and if we ever get back to the region we will definitely come back :)

Die Lage, die Quinta, das Pool, das freundliche Personal und dann noch das wunderbare Abendessen, gekocht von "Mama". Es ist dort wirklich wie im Paradies, am Pool hört man außer Vogelgezwitscher und dem bezaubernden Kirchengeläut nur mehr das Rauschen der Blätter im Wind.

A Tv não funcionava…não é essencial…mas no fim do dia…ao chegar ao quarto saberia bem ver algo antes de deitar.

Die Lage der Quinta hat uns sehr gefallen. Da es sehr heiß war, konnten wir den Pool als Erfrischung nutzen und am Abend auf der Terrasse ein Glas Wein trinken. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker.

Wir hatten nur eine Übernachtung und wären gerne länger geblieben.

We very much enjoyed the setting with the beautiful gardens, pool, and patio/terrace views of the valley. It was convenient that meals were offered, as the Village of Provesende itself had limited options.

The mattress seemed almost due for replacement.

Funcionárias muito simpáticas e extremamente prestaveis! Pequeno-almoço variado e muito bom. Local muito calmo, excelente para um pequeno retiro, para relaxar.

O que mais gostei foi, sem dúvida, a vista incrível de todos os pontos do hotel. Para além disso, o quarto é bastante espaçoso. O pequeno-almoço foi excelente, com muita variedade e qualidade, e o jantar também superou as expectativas (recomendo o jantar no hotel, até porque não há muitas opções nas redondezas). Além disso, destaco a simpatia e profissionalismo do staff, que foi sempre muito atencioso e cumpriu todos os meus pedidos, sem falhas.

O que menos gostei, sendo a minha única sugestão de melhoria, foi o colchão da cama, que não achei muito confortável.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft in den Weinbergen. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und wurden bestens versorgt. Das Frühstück ließ keinerlei Wünsche offen. Frisches Obst, eine große Auswahl und liebevoll zubereitet. Wir übernachteten in einem der Bungalows und dieser war sehr geräumig, tolle Aussicht und auch die Ausstattung war perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man die Ruhe wie wir mag und weg von allen Touristen sein möchte. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Pequeno almoço muito bom e os anfitriões eram cordiais e muito simpáticos. Os jantares eram excelentes.

Ontbijt was geweldig. De zwembad was ook lekker. Met een uitstekend uitzicht. De kamer was goed, geen uitzicht,. De badkamer was ook goed. De receptionisten waren heel vriendelijk. Genoeg parkeerplaatsen.

Avondeten was niet echt geweldig. Ze zeiden aardappel en we kregen rijst. Was eigenlijk heel simpel eten. De wijn was ook niet echt lekker als je van zoete wijn houd. Maar goed dat apart de rest was goed.

Sugiro o chalé, que tem vista maravilhosa. Ótima Privacidade, pois não são muito próximos um ao outro. Muito bom espaço e com varanda. Ótimo chuveiro.

Perfekt läge i Duoro-dalen, nära vingårdar. Vi tog taxi från Pinhao, det fungerade bra. Fina, bekväma, rymliga rum. Fin swimmingpool. Bra frukost.

Middagarna på kvällen var inte lika imponerande som frukosten. Bra service generellt, men den blonda kvinnan i receptionen var lite stressad i vissa situationer. Vi blev konstigt bemötta vid ett tillfälle, vilket dock reddes ut till full belåtenhet senare.

Une chambre très petite ainsi que le lit. Pas de vue. Un check-in très long. Les bruits du RdC qui résonnent dans l'escalier vers les chambres. Un repas du soir quelconque. Bref, un séjour très moyen. Choix décevant.

Personnel sympa, bonne nourriture quoique un peu chère, petit déj très correct.

La taille de ma chambre, trop petite, et le fait qu'elle ne dispose pas de la vue sur le paysage. Cette chambre n'était pas d'un bon rapport qualité/prix. Ma soeur et mon beau-frère bénéficiaient eux d'une chambre bien meilleure: plus pacieuse et avec une vue magnifique

Etwas abgelegen, keine Möglichkeit in einem Restaurant zu essen. Abendessen wird erst ab 19:30 angeboten. Kaffee zum Frühstück ist nicht genießbar.

As the dining options in the immediate area are limited a choice of options for dinner would be appreciated, as would a wider selection of beverages at the bar.

Everything. The bedroom with balcony overlooking the pool. Lovely figs free from the trees and apples and pears too in season. All areas beautifully designed. The staff were so welcoming and friendly.

Not keen on the restaurant. Veal roast was a huge portion but wasn’t appetizing. We wound up buying supplies and having a picnic dinner on the terrace the next night. A little information about Provesende and a map with suggested shops and wineries would have been helpful.

Es hatte einen Pool, und es war sehr gut zum entspannen. Man konnte den hausgemachten Portwein probieren und der war sehr lecker. Das Frühstück war Mega, alles was das Herz begehrte.

Die Bedienung war wirklich sehr freundlich allerdings war sie sehr hektisch. Das Menü wurde sehr schnell abgefertigt.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Da die Quinta erhöht liegt, gute Aussicht in die Ferne. Schön gelegener Pool mit Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus.

Die Ausstattung ist einfach - angefangen an der Bauweise bis zur Ausstattung. Sehr steile Auffahrt zur Quinta. Man kann in der Quinta zu Abend essen, was auch wichtig ist, da diese außerhalb des Dorfes liegt, wo auch keine nennenswerte Infrastruktur vorhanden ist. Das Abendessen bestand aus Suppe, Hauptgang (Tellergericht) und Nachtisch - Hausmannskost und das für 30 Euro/Person - das ist zu teuer für Portugal und diese Quinta.
