The building is old. It needs renovation. Friendly staff. Coming and going is hard because you have to climb down and climb up very steep road, almost 45 degrees incline. Otherwise it's not a bad place. Lots of restaurants and convenient stores nearby.

Everything was good, except the way that leads you to taksım meydanı, was very exhausted to us, it it was only five minutes of walking, but it was the hardest 😂

I was in this hotel about 5 days December 7 2024. The room was clean and receptionist were so nice. Near the Taksim square. I also used the safe box it was fine . The breakfast was the same thing for everyday I was there but there are lots of shops and bakery near the hotel. The man in kitchen was so kind also receptionist. I recommend u to so stay in hotel if u are coming to this travel very economic. it's such a cozy place.

Small hotel conveniently located near Taksim.

Habíamos reservado la habitación con desayuno incluido y cuando llegamos al hotel nos dijeron que no incluía de malas formas. Nos pusimos en contacto con Expedia y nos confirmó que si nos incluía en la reserva per el hotel nunca dio respuesta. El hotel es bastante ruidoso, se escuchaba prácticamente todo, el baño sin intimidad ya que las paredes del baño eran de cristal o similar.

Big room, friendly staff

I booked the place from expedia where it was said breakfast is available but it was not. Also, there is a big steep to the main road and taxies do not come to the hotel. So you have to climb all the way up to get to the main street to get a taxi.

I stayed in Oriella hotel in one day. In google has written that it is a 5 star hotel but in my opinion it has no star. The image of hotel in googel is not real, the hotel is not similar to these picture. when I stayed here, the money of an Iranian family was lost in the room and the reception did not give them access to the camera. I do not recommend this hotel at all to stay even for 1 day

Wir hatten drei Zimmer. In Zimmer 1 war das Bad mit Schimmel an der Decke besetzt, die Wand zum Schlafzimmer war im unterem Bereich durchnässt, beim Duschen lief das Wasser durch die Wand ins Schlafzimmer. Der Raum roch schon sehr muffig. Zimmer 2 und 3: naja, Dusch- und Waschbereich sind sehr sehr verkalkt und unsauber. Also die gammelige Version von Kalk. Ob in den Zimmern mal gewischt wurde? Ich glaube nicht. Irgendwie wurde ständig das Klopapier vergessen aufzufüllen. Armaturen sind lose, Leuchtmittel defekt. Immerhin wurden der Müll und Handtücher getauscht. Eines Abends kam ein anderer Gast mit seiner Karte in unserem Zimmer. Er hat sich im Zimmer geirrt. Es gab Klima und gutes Wlan. Naja, dafür es günstig. Zum Schlafen und Duschen hat es gereicht. Achja, es gibt Zimmer, da sind Zimmer und Bad räumlich nicht getrennt. Dusche und WC sind lediglich durch eine Glaswand vom Raum getrennt.

Staff were nice except the guy working at the restaurant. He was not polite with the guests. I observed that he rudely told a family to leave the restaurant aftet they finished their breakfast. The location of the hotel is near to Taksim but the hotel is located in a downhill which was difficult to climb specially with baggages. In google it is writen that the hotel is 5 star but you can not find any star.

Small and beautiful hotel , lovely breakfast and the host was amazing, highly recommend as this is very close to taskim square and have lots of eatery nearby. they don't have lunch and dinner options this is something that need to be improved. I enjoyed my stay

The hotel has a very good location ,comfortable rooms.I will definately come again to this hotel.some small things were not perfect like tissue paper in room or toothbrush.beds were comfortable.rooms were cleaned everyday.thanks to hotel staff .

The front desk is not caring for passengers' demands, the weather is cold and the rooms are not warm, during my 5 days stay, I asked them to clean my room several times but they didn't pay any attention but the location is near the train.

small hotel about 25 rooms with no safe box and very very small room , in too sloopy street with cold small lobby, its just waste of your money. breakfast is same evry day in a plate and contains of very simple things. the positive thing about this hotel is just quite rooms and nothing else

The Hotel is old and it doesn't have modern building. The furniture of the rooms aren't modern and beautiful. Most of the staffs aren't polite. Cleaning services are very poor. The hotel is not an appropriate Avenue. It has good availability to supermarkets, laundry and restaurants. The lobby is very small and not neat. Rooms have normal facilities like safe box, refrigerator and hair dryer.

we stayed in oriella hotel for one week . our room was very good . big enough and comfortable . and the owner bahadir was a great person who helped me a lot to surprise my girlfriend . very good breakfast . and daily cleaning. really recommended .

Great value! Room was clean but small. Very close to Taksim. Again, great value for what you pay for.

Location of the hotel is very good, Very near to Taksim square. but the room service was so poor, it just involved arranging beds and it's not even everyday service. they didn't change the towels for 3 days or take out garbage. room's temperature was so hot, we asked them to cool down the room a little bit but they didn't.

I advise you not to go to this hotel. Accommodation in this place for 4 nights was a total nightmare. Apparently the location is good but in fact a 5 minute walk up the Taksim square was a big challenge because the hotel is located in an unsafe area and terrible neighborhood on a narrow and steep alley. Neighbors were weird and noisy and also were gazing at us along the way. After arrival showed us a dirty old room in the opposite building with outdated furniture (that was not part of the hotel) and trying to convince us to stay there. Receptionist lady was not honest and polite at all and after facing our anger and opposition we were given a room on the 6th floor. The room was big enough but dirty. Every day room service was just involved arranging beds and they didn’t even take out garbage. Breakfast was awful too insofar as the breads were moldy.

it is one of worst hotel in Istanbul. its not a hotel, its apart, they can put the guest in different buildings, the building could be next or the opposite one, staff are nice however the hotel is awful...

Spent 5 nights at this nice hotel where we felt at home. The hotel room was clean comfortable and convenienly spacious with TV , wardrobe, safe refrigerator, boiler and coffee and tea. The breakfast was good enough The hotel staff speak excellent English especially the lady at the reception who was very helpful at all times.

Overally it was a good experience We booked a deluxe room for three person which was clean and comfortable The breakfast is considerably fine and the staff are kinda friendly. The problem was they dont clean the rooms frequently and i think that was the only problem we faced through out our 6days trip.the location is amazing and saves you alot of time for transportation.

Great welcome! Front office staff very friendly. That's where it ends. Transferred to another apartment block with different name, two buildings down (not part of the hotel). Very disappointing. Room inferior & not as advertised. Really old, dated furniture & mattress worn through & uncomfortable to sleep on with springs poking you through the night. Not well equipped. The bathroom and shower were dirty when I arrived, sand in the shower. I told Management, they did not send anyone to clean. Only 1 plug point to charge cel phone in the room, placed in the middle of a wall not close to anything, not sure how one is supposed to charge a mobile phone for instance, perhaps hanging from the wall on its cord? Similarly to charge a laptop? Very loud neighbourhood, locals sit in street & speak loudly, play music till early house of morning. Had a knock on my door at 1:30am second night there & didn't open it. Not sure why there is no security, felt exposed after that as main door from the road to the apartments is left open all night seems. The staff were helpful for ideas on tours and arranged a cruise one evening for me. I wouldn't go back, strongly feel that if you are going to sub-let another place & move guests to somewhere which is different from what is booked ahead, should be a explanation at least. To be told they are full when I have a confirmed booking is not good enough, its greedy and opportunistic.

2-night stay with my friend(2 people) I highly advise everyone not to go this hell, it’s a waste of time and it’s beyond hell, I regret to booking it. The service was very poor. we told the reception about our problem with the room and services several times, but they didn't care. It’s beyond worst. Terrible stay. The staff behaved stubbornly. This hotel can not be rated as 4star, it looked like a lodging house! because the hotel was very small and old with a few rooms and no hotel facilities required by the standards. The rooms were very outdated and uncomfortable, dirty. the room was very stuffy with bad enviroment view. The matress was dirty and old, the pillows were also dirty and stinky with smelling bad, they were so dirty that their white color had turned into yellow, it was unbelievable. After we left the hotel, we were dealing with skin problems for one month, it seems like we were bitten or something and we had to cure for one month after returning to our country. Wall, furniture , Shower, Toilet , carpet and everythings were dirty. Everything else we were not happy with and our stay were miserable. We booked a room with two separate beds with breakfast, but they were delivered to a very small room with a double bed that was not comfortable with mattresses and did not have breakfast daily at 7 or 8 or9 o'clock morning and no Restaurant or Coffee shop/café and Room service. Hotel location is in the narrow streets and have a steep slope. Also, the alley is not suitable for tourists, and bad girls and bad men, especially bisexuals, are in it.

The hotel is 10 minutos walking from Taksim square but pay attention, the streets are really dark and strange, not in a safe area. Besides that, our Room wasn't clean, our bad stinks and we found some pizza boxes on the top of the closed. The good point is that besides this, the room was nice, large bathroom, and they let us to make a earlier check in and also schedule a taxi for us. But unfortunately I wouldn't recommend it.

حالة الغرف جيدة جدا كما بالصور. طاقم العمل اكثر من رائع بل ممتاز جدا، ومعاملتهم طيبة جدا. نزلت في غرفتين، الواي فاي سريع في واحدة وبطيء جدا في الأخرى. الغرف ضيقة نوعا ما. شارع الفندق سيء، لا يناسب الاسرة، مليء بالملاهي الليلية، والشارع منحني جدا صعب في المشي صعودا وهبوطا.

I had booked three rooms for the New Year's holidays by Hostelworld , and my reservation was confirmed and my money was withdrawn , but the hotel did not send me voucher , and I called the hotel and they told me because the prices are higher, your reservation will be difficult and cancel. I'm very upset and worried, even though I paid the money. This behavior of the hotel is very unprofessional and non-honest.

Located within walking distance of Taksim square in a fairly quiet zone, however, the shortest route involves going up two sloped paths. Quite pleased with the condition and functionality of the economy room (includes double bed) I stayed in, as well as the hospitality demonstrated by the male receptionist.

Sehr schlechtes Hotel bzw ist für mich kein Hotel Hier ist nicht für menschen geignet.

We spend there 4 nights in april. The hotel is small nice, freshly renovated. The staff is friendly always greeting. The rooms are big enoguh with comfortable bed with nice bathroom. The view from the windows was not really nice and we were forced not to lift the blinds. The minus in the hotel was that for 4 days no one clean our room and on our departure day early in the morning was no one at the reception desk to call us taxi. The location is great just 5min. walking to Taksim square but the neighborhood was terrible. It is noisy 24 hours, dirty you can meet prostitutes, transvestites and see a female fight.

We needed one of the bigger rooms as we had a rollaway bed for a child. It's clean, nice decor, lovely area. A fridge in the room to have cold water, TV and good air-conditioning (We were there in the summer). The walking distance to Taksim square was easy even with a stroller however the hill can be steep for some. We could easy catch a taxi from Taksim square to go into the old town. The hosts were lovely and would call for taxis if needed. Only negative thing is no breakfast, but who want's breakfast when opposite this boutique hotel is a bakery with fresh bread. Walk up to Taksim square to have breakfast or catch a cab to the Grand Bazaar to enjoy it there.

Very happy with my stay. No complains. Big thanks to friendly staff! Good location
