Everything....breakfasts were great... bed and sheets excellent.... amenities offered are beyond expectation from winw glasses to ice machine to access to extra towels....the host was fantastic and her decor so loving guy displayed.

All was very good...nothing to complain about.

Each day it was exceptional….thanks chef!

The breakfast was prepared by the proprietor Chris everyday. Delicious eggs, French toast, croissants, berry jams. Everyone congregates at breakfast and leisurely conversation ensue.

Nothing could have improved on our stay.

The setting was beautiful with water all around. The hosts were lovely and made us feel welcome. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

Beautiful old world charm in a gloriously quiet location My room was in the house and although decor a bit twee I had a very comfortable 3 nights stay. I was a solo traveller and glad of that as would have been cramped. Excess bedding (pillows, blankets etc) immediately went into the wardrobe for additional breathing space. The bed and linens were lovely. Communal fridge with cold water and kettle and coffee maker much appreciated Breakfast was amazing! My best during my 20 nights on NS. Amazing hosts with impeccable recall of guests names

Exceptional breakfast. Lovely hosts. Great location with panoramic views of the Bay.

Didn't realize there would be stairs. Room was smaller than expected with limited drawer space for belongings, though plenty of closet space for hanging items.

Reizende, familiäre Unterkunft. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wichtig, man benötigt ein Auto. Sehr nette Eigentümer, hilfsbereit und sehr persönlich. Können es nur weiterempfelhen.

Mit Stil geführt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ziemlich Britisch ( aus Deutscher Sichtweise ) aber sehr gut.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, alllerdings für aktive Gäste knapp gehalten. Die Zimmer sind nicht klimatisiert. Wir hat durchschnittlich 26‘ im Zimmer bei über 80% LF. Die Handtücher wurden nicht trocken. Ab dem 3. u. 4. Tag trocknet man sich mit nassen Handtüchern ab. Ist aber sprichwörtlich kein Beinbruch.

The loft apt was comfortable. A bit hot in the loft bedroom but the AC handled it well. Made a number of meals in the well equipped kitchen. Wifi and TV suited our needs.

Superb self catering accomodation right overlooking the coastline and countryside. The accomodation is split with a bedroom upstairs with a huge bed, and the remaining living area, kitchen and bathroom on the lower level. There is also a good balcony for just sitting and admiring the view, and hopefully the passing family of deer! The kitchen is fully equipped to cook full meals, and the living area is also a good size with a separate dining table. Ideal location for visiting lots of Nova Scotia, and certainly close to many highlights. Joanna and Chris made you feel most welcome with hints and tips for visiting the area, thankyou to both of you (and to Tony) for a wonderful stay! Would not hesitate recommending, or booking again if visiting the area in the future.

Joanna and Chris are wonderful hosts. We felt very welcome and at ease from the moment we arrived. The view of the Bay makes the location extra special. It was lovely to return to the Inn each evening, after a full days in the nearby towns, and take in the view from the front porch. Breakfast was perfect, with choices to suit our appetite and plans for the day.

Sehr nette Gastgeber, großes Apartment, schöne Lage mit toller Aussicht, kurze Fahrzeit nach Mahone Bay. Gute Küchenausstattung. Wir hatten ein Apartment mit Küche, können daher nichts zum angebotenen Frühstück sagen.

Es hätte ein bisschen sauberer sein können. Auf dem Boden lagen z.B. recht viele Haare, obwohl dieser gereinigt wurde.

The breakfast was delicious, and there were options every day. The room was spacious, clean and cleverly appointed with coffee machines, fresh drinking water, a mini fridge, and access to other amenities.

Friendly, helpful hosts, great location, views amazing, short drive to town. Loved Mahone Bay. Room comfy and had everything we needed. Great breakfasts. Highly recommend.

Joanna and Chris are very warm and their property and rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious, with extra room in lounges, on the porches and at the waters edge.

Joanna and Chris were excellent and knowledgeable hosts. Homely accommodation and nothing was too much trouble. They were also able to adjust our stay at short notice and move us to a bigger room after the first night.

Great location a 5-min drive from Mahone Bay and 15 minutes from Lunenberg. Stunning views. Lovely well maintained rooms and a fabulous homemade breakfast.

We were there during a ridiculously hot week. Some rooms don't have AC. Thankfully it cooled off at night.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Bayview Pines Country Inn B&B with our child. The bed was very clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the little touches like the robes provided in the room. The washroom was located across the hallway, but it honestly didn't bother us at all. The bedroom has a charming rustic cottage design that made our stay extra special. Our child, who is on the autism spectrum, absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere and felt very comfortable there. The towels were also exceptionally clean you know when towels are truly fresh and soft, unlike some hotel towels we've experienced! Our first night was quite warm due to a heat warning, but thankfully the second night was much cooler and more comfortable. Breakfast was included, and we loved the setup. Everything was thoughtfully prepared by Joanne and Chris, and it was such a lovely way to start our mornings. We actually would have stayed another night if we hadn't needed to move our flight earlier than planned. The location is also excellent, with an easy drive to both Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend Bayview Pines Country Inn B&B to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay.

Nous étions dans la dépendance, surpris que notre chambre ne soit dans la très belle maison vu photos booking, description de booking deluxe vue mer. Belle chambre vue paysage, on aperçoit la mer à la différence des chambres dans la maison principale.

Beautiful location, peaceful and tranquil. Views were spectacular. Hosts were kind and friendly, full of knowledge about the area. Rooms were perfect and the breakfasts were fabulous.

There was nothing not to like

It was so quiet and peaceful. Perfect if you like to have a quiet glass of wine on your deck at the end of the day. Joanna and Chris couldn't do enough to make our stay wonderful from providing cream in the room to lending us a cold pack for our cooler and allowing us to take out the kayak. They are wonderful hosts.

Het uitzicht was prachtig, de hosts erg vriendelijk en het ontbijt was goed. Geweldige uitzichtplek op de waranda. Prettige kamer met privébadkamer op de gang. Fijn dat er ook een woonkamer was en mogelijkheid voor koffie en thee maken.

Warm friendly welcome, fantastic lakeside location and a just a short drive to shops and restaurants. Lots of parking and our room was very clean and in the old barn, which had a very much appreciated area to make drinks 24/7. Breakfast was very nice, which varied each day and offered an opportunity to meet other guests. Our hosts could not have been more friendly or welcoming.

We loved the location and quiet country setting. Hosts were friendly, knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. Breakfast was a delight in a charming breakfast room with attention to detail. Rooms were comfortable and very clean with great views of the countryside. We would highly recommend a stay.

Nothing we didn’t like.

The inn is located off the main road and is a bit of a drive but the area is quiet and idyllic. Great views of the water since it is located at the top of a hill. There is parking for every room. The rooms themselves are nicely appointed and spacious enough. Our bed was very comfortable. There is a coffee machine, kettle for tea and water near the rooms on both floors. The breakfasts were really good and the breakfast room located in the main inn was bright and cheery. The inn's hosts are wonderful!

A good breakfast, a comfortable room, and a great outlook across the bay. Joanna is a great host, and was very helpful sending on something I left behind.

The room wifi was patchy, but it was much faster in the lounge. A simple wifi repeater would probably fix that.

they had a beautiful quiet location with a water view from almost every window (I think), they are on a point so lots of beautiful views.

it is quite out of the way so if you have a tour or arrangement the breakfast time is very late (8:00 - 9:30). That is far too late if you want or need to have an early start. if you spoke with Joanne the earliest you could have breakfast (that is included) is 7:45, still way too late if you really wanted to leave by 7:30. if you talk to Chris he will prep a tray but its really unclear when you can eat and it is a really long drive if you need to be anywhere by 8 or 8:30. Also - there was a miss understanding about my bathroom. The bathroom i had at the end of the hall was exclusively for me but not exactly private because i had to be dressed to leave it. also the sink in there was ridiculously tiny, I couldn't wash my face without water splashing everywhere.

The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were helpful with activity suggestions, and were very pleasant . I loved the location, and particularly the B &B property itself. It was very peaceful , quiet , and relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I was sad to leave. Mahone Bay is a great town.

If I was staying more nights.

Breakfast was fresh and hearty, the room and bed was perfect, hosts were lovely - especially Harriet!

The room and the entire property are very clean. The breakfasts were awesome. The view is amazing. The location is good for visiting all of Nova Scotia on day trips. The hosts are extremely gracious and add the little extra touches that make everything special.

Excellent breakfasts and bathroom essentials

The property was well situated in Mahone Bay and the perfect base for our adventures in the neighboring area. Breakfasts were varied and excellent.

Quiet, clean and beautiful scenery. The breakfasts were good and the owners were very gracious.

Enjoyed breakfast gatherings each morning, meeting the other guests who were all from different Countries. Joanna and Chris are charming and hospitable and are always available for their guests. In the late afternoons, a family of four Deer gathered on the edge of the property which overlooks the sea.

I can't think of anything really.

This inn is in a great location. Our rooms were beautiful comfortable and they've thought of all a traveler needs. The breakfasts are delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed talking with our host Joanna. Cute pup Harriet we will miss you! So peaceful and lovely we were sad to depart

The view was gorgeous and the breakfasts were spectacular. Our hosts were appropriately friendly and easy to talk with. Highly recommended.

Our bathroom was down the hall, but not really a problem at all. The other 2 rooms on our floor had en suites, so it was a private bathroom only for us.

Joanne and Chris were great hosts and provided excellent large breakfasts, and had lots of information about the area.

Bayview Pines is beautiful, peaceful, and very well situated to explore the Mahone Bay and Lunenburg area. It was super comfortable esp. for a family. Joanna and Chris were wonderful, very helpful and great communicators. Their home-cooked hot breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and served in a beautiful room with a 360-degree view of the surrounding bays. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we did!

The 14+ stairs to our room; my knees were not happy with me for that; but what can you expect? There were other rooms with much less of a climb.

Absolut tolle Lage mit Blick aufs Meer und den Sonnenaufgang. Ruhig und doch in der Nähe von Mahone Bay und Lunenburg. Frühstück fantastisch und sehr freundliche und entspannte Atmosphäre. Absolut zu empfehlen!

De ligging aan de baai is prachtig met een mooie grote tuin en een plekje aan het water met bbq en picknicktafel. Strandje op 3 minuten rijden en het dorp Mahone Bay op 10 minuten. De eigensren Chris en Joanna zijn erg aardig en super behulpzaam.

Nous avons passé un séjour des plus agréables ! L’accueil a été chaleureux et attentionné. La chambre est confortable et propre. Il ne manque absolument rien. L’endroit est calme, isolé et plein de charme — un vrai havre de paix. Les déjeuners sont excellent et différents chaque matin. Nous recommandons ce petit coin de paradis sans hésiter !

La était petite manque de place pour bien installé.

Wir fanden alles wunderbar

The location was stunning. Our room overlooked the ocean, and there was an incredible sense of peace and tranquility. Joanna and Chris are wonderful people who went above and beyond to provide me with a gluten-free breakfast that was safe for me (they even used toaster bags to toast my gluten-free bread!!! Awesome). Downstairs there was also a fridge available where we could store our food, the option to make tea or coffee. One thing we truly appreciated was the picnic table on the beach facing the ocean, where we were able to enjoy an aperitif at sunset. While driving toward Mahone Bay, we frequently encountered deer gracefully wandering through the region and during a trip to Kejimkujik National Park, we were lucky enough to encounter a young bear that crossed the road in front of us.

The mattress on the bed was a bit uncomfortable.
