Super clean and had everything that you could want. The bed and pillows were super comfy. The outdoor patio was amazing. The decor was solid and beautiful. The room was the perfect location of being not too close, not too far, from the port, water taxis, etc. Highly recommend this place. The booking pictures are exactly as the room.

I had a wonderful stay at Mastoris Mansion. The hospitality was exceptional—the owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available if I needed anything. They kindly met me at the port and helped with my luggage, which was a thoughtful touch and made my arrival very easy. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of the port, restaurants, shops, and all the charm of Hydra. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

The room is rather small and facilites are not luxurious but the vibe compensates and the owners are so friendly and helpful with anything that is needed.

It was in an excellent location and close to the port , restaurants, cafeterias, and the beach was close . The staff / owners were amazing , very kind, and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. It also included all kinds of facilities, such as ironing , air conditioning, ceiling fan , a coffee machine, and a fridge, and it offered hygiene products like toothbrushes , cotton and organic hand soap bars. It was also very nice the fact that it included recycling bins and all the covers , like sheets and towels, were 100% organic cotton. Finally, it was nice that we had free access to the balcony day and night , which is shared with other visitors of the mansion . It is beautiful and decorated with plants and paintings, excellent for relaxing.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour grâce à l’excellent emplacement et au charme de l’établissement. La chambre était agréable et constituait un bon point de départ pour explorer la région.

Quelques éléments pourraient toutefois être améliorés. Le matelas manquait de confort pour un séjour de plusieurs nuits. La ventilation de la salle de bain faisait beaucoup de bruit et semble nécessiter un entretien. Nous aurions également apprécié que les fournitures soient mieux vérifiées avant notre arrivée, puisque le savon pour le corps était vide et la quantité de papier toilette un peu juste. Enfin, la salle de bain gagnerait à être rénovée. Certains signes d’usure étaient visibles, notamment la peinture du plancher de la douche se décollait par endroits. L’aménagement de la toilette, sous une arche murale, était également un peu particulier et moins pratique. Dans l’ensemble, nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour grâce à l’emplacement et au cachet des lieux.

Adorable room (we were in the triple that had two beds). Felt super clean. Amazing and accommodating host. Perfect location a 5-minute walk from the port (and not uphill, as most things in Hydra are).

Every little detail was taken care of! Location and facilities were ideal! Could not ask for more!

Το κατάλυμα είναι αρκετά κοντά στο λιμάνι, ενώ τα μαγαζίά είναι κοντά χωρίς την φασαρία που μπορεί να έχουν.Το διαμέρισμα ήταν άνετο και καθαρό. Από πλευράς εξοπλισμού, το κρεβάτι & τα μαξιλάρια ήταν εξαιρετικά, υπήρχε ψυγείο (αν και δεν το χρειαστήκαμε), χρηματοκιβώτιο, καθώς επίσης και κλιματισμός. Παρόλο αυτά λόγω της πέτρινης κατασκευής και ενώ είμασταν σε περίοδο με ζέστη δεν το λειτουργήσαμε καθόλου καθώς μόνο ο ανεμιστήρας που είχε ήταν υπέρ αρκετός. Είναι πολύ έντονο το προσωπικό στοιχείο και η αγάπη που έχουν δείξει οι ιδιοκτήτες στο κατάλυμα και στα διακοσμητικά στοιχεία αυτού. Τέλος, οι ιδιοκτήτες είναι αρκετά εξυπηρετικοί και κατατοπιστικοί σχετικά με το να κατευθύνουν τους επισκέπτες τους με τα προσφερόμενα καταστήματα, παραλίες & πρόσβαση σε αυτές.

Το μέγεθος του μπάνιου είναι μικρό σχετικά. Όπως στα περισσότερα καταλύματα αυτού του τύπου δεν υπάρχει χώρος για να απλώσει κάποιος τα είδη θαλάσσης, αλλά μπορεί να χρησιμοποιήσει το χώρο στην αυλή που έχει κάποιες θέσεις.

Relaxed vibe a few streets back from the strip. Boutique and traditional style. We got a few beach towels from Christos (brilliant) and on one rainy evening we found umbrellas in the hallway. A short walk from some lovely swimming spots of the rocks, restaurants and cafes all around

Location just a few blocks from the Hydra port was hugely convenient for me as a single traveler with two suitcases. Yet despite its proximity to a plethora of exciting restaurants, cafes, and beautiful stores, it's an incredibly quiet location. Communication from the host, Cristos, was excellent before and during the trip. I felt so warmly welcomed. The room itself is incredibly charming and makes you feel you've traveled to somewhere really special. I loved the handcrafted details of exposed stone walls and wooden beams, combined with modern conveniences such as quality windows and a mint green colored tea kettle and espresso maker. Charming details such as upcycled materials to serve as functional tables and wall hooks added to the room's appeal. High quality bedding and towels were a treat. Beautiful outdoor sun-shaded terrace was resplendent with succulent plants for a relaxing and cozy place to expand your stay.

Wifi connection was very poor. In order to basic online activities, let alone work remotely, I needed to find a cafe with a stronger connection. My favorite was Plakostroto, just one block away which had great wifi in a beautiful shaded garden setting.

Absolutely everything! Unique, beautifully put together place to call home, an absolute piece of heaven! Kristos, our/your host, could not be more helpful. He provided friendly, knowledgeable assistance and has clearly put in so much hard work to a property he loves. Stay here, you will not regret it.

1st time in 60 years of Greek travel toilet bin not emptied, room not serviced at all. Bedding worn out and towels stale smelling. Tiny room with tired scruffy decor. Badly executed diy which had sharp edges, metal spiked fittings and broken fittings. If we’d wanted a cave we would have booked one. Incredibly expensive and very very disappointed. Would not recommend at all.

Fantastic place! Brilliant location, fun decor. Wonderful roof top terrace for the guests to use. Christos is the nicest, most helpful host ever. If ever we're lucky enough to return to Hydra we will absolutely stay here again.

Bathroom door was a touch tricky, but everything else more than made up for the minor inconvenience.

This feels like home and you are treated as part of the family. Ideally located and easy to get around. Kalotina and her family are so accommodating and nothing is too hard. We can't wait to visit again and this will be our first stop!!

Perfect location, stunningly cute with wonderful little features, amazingly helpful owner (Christos) and an inspiring approach to guest service, such as allowing me to store my suitcase after checkout, before my ferry and making a shower available for guests to freshen up from one final swim before their ferry. Brilliant!

Fantastic staff and room. We really liked the use of recycled materials in the decoration. The only thing which could have improved things would have been a breakfast option - even if only a simple yogurt, honey, bread, coffee option.

The breakfast was exceptional; lots of home made pastries, jam, cake, orange juice etc. It was buffet style. The bedroom and communal areas were beautifully decorated in bright colours and lots of attention to detail. It was bright and creative and cosy and very tasteful.
