Zest Airport Jakarta by Swiss-Belhotel International

Nice budget hotel

I had a good stay

Convenient to airport. Lovely staff. Good breakfast.

Anyway, the room and the shower room were dirty.

I like the airport shuttle bus system, very dependable and friendly driver and service.

The very friendly staff and services and clean place.

Very clean and relaxing. My stay was pleasant.

Poor breakfast (the worst, Ibhave had in may hotel) and don’t even try to get their shuttle - very confusing. Just download app and get GRAB - it’s like UBer

It’s so cheap that you can’t complain. It’s basic but it’s clean and has everything you need. Plus a free shuttle service. KFC and other food outlets. Our favourite food of the trip was the restaurant that sold Indonesian food 20 seconds away from the hotel, before you get to KFC. Not sure of the name.

A good hotel, located as part of a shopping mall. The room was clean and staff welcoming. The shuttle bus is good - but only runs hourly. The meeting point at Terminal 3 is close to 'East Lobby, Meeting Point' where you are advised to pick it up - walk out the terminal, passed the big sign which says 'Meeting Point', up a very small incline and head right immediately after the coffee shop to the curved road which has 'pick up zone' marked on the road.

Good hotel

Excellent option for overnight or extended stays. The hotel is within a complex that has 2 convenience stores, Starbucks and multiple eating options. No need to go anywhere and when you include the free shuttle bus it is top value for a nice room.

Excellent value, convenient shops nearby, free airport shuttle.

Everything is ok

first time stay here i just arrve n need wifi after 8hour flight， but they say the internert wifi hve prblm n i need wait until 10:30pm。so noising also we can listen wht next room talking

Good staff support

Perfect for a short stay, very kind staff and clean rooms. There is a small mall connected to the hotel that has everything you need, so you don’t need to go into Jakarta if you don’t want to. Only downside was that the keycard to our room reset everyday, however that was fixed quickly by the receptionists so no big deal. And because of the pictures we tought there would be a pool :( but we should have read better.

Very reasonable price

We only stayed one night in between our flights. The hotel was quite loud and not very clean. However, it was a convenient location close to the airport and quite cheap.

Lack of amenities & facilities. The internet signal kinda poor too.

Clean hotel with friendly staff and good service

Airport shuttle 24/7 I hope.

Very convenient for an overnight stay before catching a flight from Jakarta airport.

the property quite new & clean

Started here on an overnight layover. The free airport shuttle service runs every hour which is very convenient. The instructions I got for catching the shuttle at the airport wasn’t intuitive and I ended up wandering around the airport for nearly 2 hours trying to find it.

The corner in the room was dirty it has some stains and smell like somebody has had been smooking in that room

Came late at night, we were picked up by free shuttle bus that provided by the hotel.it was good hotel, good breakfast fast. The room little to small anyway

For me, this place was a bit disappointing. The term “you get what you pay for” clearly comes to mind. The walls are very thin & I don’t think there was a single moment of peace and quiet. There is a shuttle bus (which I paid for in advance) but it was no where to be found, after 1 hr I finally got ahold of them for a ride. I also paid for breakfast but they had no vegetarian options. You also have to pay for parking for any driver that comes to you. Seems from the reviews this place works for a lot of people, but for me it was just a hassle - I ended up changing hotels.

It is Zest what more could I say. Their customer service is one of the best I ever seen. The food was excellent and the service great. One thing did stand out to me was management. Watching Managements bus tables and working at the reception desk again let know how Zest and it Sister Hotel will go to extremes to see to their guest. As always thank you for being here and making my stay a place I can rest and be at peace even in this virus emergency.

I like everything. The transfer to airport. But breakfast is very local.

Very old towel, quick check in check out. Hard to connect wifi for apple gadget simple breakfast menu nice location and great cleanliness

Cheap and close to the airport, next to the 24 hours restaurant and grocery store.

This hotel is near the Airport and some restaurants next door. The Airport staff is not that friendly and welcoming. He asked me to wait but then asked me to get in the big bus. I felt like a ball thrown here and there. I was just tired and jetlagged from long flight. The bed is pretty comfy but the towels looked like rags. So gross. The breakfast starts at 4 am where I need to be at the Airport at 4 am so I didn't get to enjoy the breakfast. They should have breakfast starts at 3 am like other hotels. There was nothing that impressed me. They put my room near the elevator so so much noise and I couldn't sleep. The staff is not that friendly. It lacked of smiles. Next time, I will stay other hotels around with the price that I paid.

Dining experience was not good Had to wait almost 45 min for the beer and food which was a simple dish of fried rice

Mosquito were swarming along with other bugs outside. The pool was nice and had nice view of the aircraft landing. Should give an estimated time on how long it takes shuttle to get to each gate at airport. I didn't time it but it took a while. Made it on time though cause left early. Did find board with nail sticking up in air by pool and I moved it to side and maintenance had fixed it by time I came back.

Aircon room 532 is so noisy. Could not sleep well because of it

Room is dirty. Bad smell in the corridor and from the toilet. Staff is not helpful and they provide wrong information.

Check in takes too long eventhough there were only 2 parties guests on the front of us at that time but there was only one person who deal with all the guests.

We killed at least 20 cockroaches for one night stay

This hotel is good for transit to and from airport. It delivered its purpose. Check in was easy and the room was clean. The hotel is connected to a mall with several good places to eat and get coffee. They have Starbucks in the mall. They provide a large bus to the airport every hour, just be in the lobby 15 minutes before your intended time to the airport. The negative things about this hotel are a funky smell in the hallways but didn’t feel it in the room. Also you can hear people talking in the hallway. Overall, this hotel is good for one night for transit.

This location of Zest Hotel is very convenient near the Soekarno Hatta airport. And they have a very good shuttle service to the airport. However the bathroom does not have any curtain, so it is very difficult to take a shower without the floor being really really wet. They used to have curtain in the bathroom before. And when I checked in, they do not have floor towel ready. I have to ask from them.

Nice hotel with airport transfer. But airport transfer take some time.

Satu gedung dengan Mall dengan banyak tempat makan, tersedia free shuttle ke dan dari Airport

Not much choices for the breakfast.

Room a bit musty smell due to individually air conditioning system which shut off aitomatically everytime leaving the room with key. I arrived very late, air con unit was off I guess dor the whole day and smell musty.

It's a nice budget hotel with decent price. The only problem I found is that I noticed there were no curtains in the shower room causing some water splashing out to the floor in front of the vanity sink. The floor became a little bit wet. Informed the staff of this but no concrete actions. Hopefully the hotel management can fix it.

Very good for taking early morning flights. Will stay there again in the future.

No internet. Supposedly airport pick up but no one at the front desk answers the phone when I called (6 times!!). A light in the room would not turn off and was not connected to any switch. I had to remove the door card disabling electricity to the room. Altogether awful.

Clean, good service

Staff friendly but room air con not working properly, every hour stop. Called reception for 3 times service & ask to change room but rejected till the 3 rd time service, than willing to change room for me till midnight 2 . So just sleep for 3 hours

First, the food the restaurant served was lousy. Second, due to some construction going on near the hotel, i didn't get to sleep well as it was too noisy... i also can hear talking and walking outside my room too.. The plus point was that there was free airport shuttle from hotel to airport..

It was ok for one night very good value

Good value for the money. Rooms with wifi. Complimentary breakfast and airport shuttle.

Long journey to hotel if you have little time between planes maybe need closer to airport but hotel was exactly what I wanted thank you

Disclaimer: I did not actually stay here. I made it as far as the lobby because unfortunately I had messed up my reservation, booked the wrong day, and the hotel was full. But I can say that the front desk staff was extremely sympathetic and helpful. They called several hotels until they found one that had an available room (it was an Indonesian holiday so finding a room was tricky). Then they arranged for a taxi to pick me up, and it was a Blue Bird taxi, which I hadn't specifically requested but is a very trustworthy taxi to get in Jakarta. Very pleased. During the time I was sitting around waiting in the lobby, I noticed it was clean, bright, welcoming and modern. There was a little cafe adjacent to it, too. The building contained a Starbucks and some other shops right next door within walking distance. A lady who could only speak Chinese came up to the front desk complaining about something very loudly, and the front desk guy handled it very kindly and professionally, even though he couldn't understand her. All in all, I will definitely book a room at this hotel again... I'll just have to make sure I get the date right next time!

The cleanliness is good, staff friendly, but the pillow case and the bed cover is very not clean or maybe not change. not very happy with that.

Love the hotel. I have checked in the hotel more than 5 times since its strategic location. Good and reliable free shuttle. Just give them a call for the pick up. Many eatries nearby so you have many choices. Starbuck, Jco and D'cost seafood are amongst my fav. A convenience store or known as Indomaret is next to the hotel. Easy for you to get your necessities even during odd hours as the store opens 24 hrs.

Bearable if you stay for a short period of time. Offers free hourly shuttle bus to the airport.

Minimal standart was reached by this hotel made it right as transit hotel

Satisfaction.

A bit more effort is needed to make the facility more relaxing and comfortable. The level of cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired

Location for early flight out of Jakarta airport. Food can easily found within five minutes walking. Convenient store easy access. Coffee breaks readily available

cleanliness of the bathroom can be improved, not a nice sight to see hairs on the floor. towel hanger already on the verge of dropping off, yet still not fixed poor condition of furniture aircond humming loud sound, either too old or no maintenance

Great location near the airport, free shuttle from and to the airport, and free breakfast with ok variety (certainly better than American motels). Friendly staff. Fast check-in process. We stayed here twice during our trip, one night each to catch our flights. Air-conditioner wasn't working really well both times. During the 2nd stay, A/C wasn't working good at all during the night, and after we got back from our breakfast in the morning, it was completely broken with water pouring out of it. It could have been better. The hotel is located within a small shopping complex with a really good security. There are convenience store, KFC, Starbucks, J-Co, and Auntie's Kitchen which served great beef soup, and a few other shops, including a pharmacy. Zest Hotel is an inexpensive chain of the Swiss-Bell Hotels, and it is in the SAME complex as the Swiss-BellIn Airport. Many taxi drivers don't know the location really well.

Not as it looks in pictures Very bad room dark rooms bad toilets and really uncomfortable

Good Hotel

good

We chose this hotel because of its convenient location close to the airport and because we had an early flight at 4am. It was a terrible experience for the following reasons: entire room was unclean and dusty, a/c had particles coming out, bathroom floor was flooded after 5 min of shower, hair on bathroom floor. The shuttle to the airport was convenient and on time. And staff were kind enough to pack our breakfast (very ordinary). Do not choose this hotel. If you want a good night's sleep, go somewhere else.

Decent stay Convenient location to the airport, but that's about it Hourly shuttle to the airport, but should provide more frequent service during busy times (morning, evening) and make the meeting point at the airport more accessible and clear

Near to airport. Good for transit.

the hotel is great for a short stay gateway. to the airport. Staff are feiendly and helpful as well

the buffet in restaurant same food every day. the house keeping equipment room was near of my room it's dirty every insects and reptiles come from it.

A new budget hotel near airport. Hotel in very good condition. Good to stay for business/ family trip near airport. 1 minute walk to a shopping mall with good eating options.

Good place to rest overnight between flights. Shuttle. In a complex with a variety of restaurants.

Was supposed to be picked up at the airport and no one showed. Cab driver got lost trying to get there. Overall experience was not so good.

A nice, clean hotel very convenient to the airport. Attached to a small mall (not much to see, but reasonable food options and a Starbucks). Room was neat and comfortable, wifi was fast. My only complain is fluctuating water temperature in the bathroom. Not an area with much to do, but perfect for short layovers or early flights. Make sure you get a metered taxi, not fixed rate, since it's not in Jakarta proper.

okay for overall

Good for travellers who 's plan for next trip to airpirt again.

simple and near to airport. quick bite only that no kettle or bigger jug in e room to fill in water from water dispenser provided. its abit walk distance from my room just a glass of warm water. i am sure they can improve better. overall its great place to stay.

A decent price hotel for the service and facilities provided. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice selections of tasty breakfast. Surrounded by good restaurants and shopping area. Highly recommended.

It was fine. As you'd expect from this type of hotel

I had a faulty card key holder that kept turning off the electricity supply in the room I was given and the technician could not fix the problem. Rather then wait for the technician to come again. I asked for a change of rooms, which was attended to promptly. The mattress in the room has seen better days, it sagged and was too comfortable.

I needed a hotel near the airport since I had a very early morning flight to catch. From that point of view, it was a great hotel, good value for money. The hotel room was very neat and clean but was very basic. It was purely a hotel that can be used for transit or for a short overnight stay. Basically, there was no wardrobe or a refrigerator in the room; neither was there tea/coffee making facility. It is a very basic hotel but was very neatly maintained.

We were shocked at the poor level of service. The bedsheets were not clean, the electricity cut out ~10 times and when we called down to reception we were promised someone would come up to the room. They did not arrive. The hotel promises 24h room service but when we requested a menu at 22.00 this also did not arrive. We were offered an alarm call but the alarm call came 30 minutes earlier than requested.

We stopped here for one night for a connecting flight to Bali. Zest was a good hotel for what we needed.

............................................................

Poxy Location, taxis don't know where it is and will rip you off. If in overnight transit, the room is acceptable but already looks worn down even though relatively new. Otherwise you are trapped in a poor location and stuck with the limited eateries below. Drinks only available at the adjoining hotel and are $10 a pop! Oh dear, us poor western travellers to Indonesia! Entrapment everywhere you go.

rather decent place altogether; staff correct

Good hotel for a transit stop over in Jakarta. There is an hourly airport shuttle 24 hours a day. Major malls are nearby via taxi

I had a good experience in Jakarta especially knowing part of the word of Indonesian language which is the same I my dialect Ilocano in the Philippines and also the actual food. The availability of tour accommodation, which is private, but i wish they have group tour of the city where i could have join. I was happy to tour the city with car, including a driver and tour guide. The only problem that I had, looking for souvenirs about Jakarta, local made, the available are name Bali.

This hotel has lots of potential. My room had a great bed with crisp sheets and the best bathroom mirror and hot shower that I had in my 29 days in Indonesia. Still other than the bed, other furniture consisted of a cheap desk and chair. Also, the floor in my room seemed a bit odd and dirty - some of this may be due to the cheap flooring that was used in the construction. The one thing that annoyed me more and was very avoidable was the hotel staff that proved unreliable as I never received a wake up call I requested.

Good hotel to take a couple of hours rest before transit.

The zest hotel is located nearby a little mall, but most of the shop are still closed because the mall it's new. The room smell's of fresh painting. Is not possible to open the window of the room to keep out the bad smell.

Very disappointed with the Zest. My pre-arranged airport transfer never arrived. The hotel receptionist said she would speak to the manager about taking care of the 80,000 IDR taxi fare I had to pay to get to the hotel but she never did. The hotel is in a seedy area near the airport. While the shower water pressure was fine, the temperature would vary from too hot to cool during a shower. Considering how new the hotel is, the room was already showing signs of wear and tear and mold. The hotel's restaurant closes early.

During our flight from the United States to Bali, we had a 10 hour layover in Jakarta (on the way there and the way back.) We arrived after midnight, so the shuttle was no longer operating. Taxis are plentiful at the airport, and can be arranged for less than 5 USD to the hotel. The shuttle to the airport is very dependable and leaves on the hour from 0600 to 2400. You should arrive in the lobby at least 15 minutes before the hour, because the shuttle is a bit small. During one of my stays at this hotel, we were waiting first, but the shuttle was full from the other hotel onsite. I immediately asked the staff if I would have to wait another hour, and to call a taxi. They called another shuttle and in less than 5 minutes, we were on our way. Our room was quite clean, with two clean towels, clean and crisp sheets and a basic amenity kit which included a bar of soap and a toothbrush. The dispensers were full. There were no bugs or other issues with the room. The wifi was quite fast and dependable. I made several VOIP calls from my phone with no disconnections. Videos within Facebook played with no problems. Streaming from YouTube was quite sluggish. The breakfast consisted of a typical Asian breakfast (noodles, soup, curry vegetables, etc.) with accommodations for the British (baked beans and scrambled eggs.) There were a few western options also, mostly cereal and danishes.

The place is really nice. It's still off-gassing so it smells a bit chemical but everything was very nicely done.

I arrived just after midnight. The hotel staff was there to pick me up for the free airport transfer. The check in was quick, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. My only problem was that during the day I used the hotel shuttle to go to the airport in the morning to catch a bus to the city center. On returning to the airport I called the hotel to see if I could catch their shuttle. I was told to wait at a specific place. However, after waiting for two hours, no shuttle. I wasted two hours and took a taxi to the hotel. On bringing this to the staff's notice, they just shrugged their shoulders and said they were busy picking other guests. I told them that then they should not have told me to wait. No answer, no apology. Also, this hotel is out there with nothing close by.

such a great value of a hotel. The room is clean, WiFi is fast. free shuttle to and from airport alone is quite a few dollars saved. I definitely recommend the hotel.

Great value. The room and property was clean while the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Location is close to airport..good for a quick rest and sleep. New hotel smelled of fresh paint. Couldnt open the window so the room was stuffy and didnt like smell. Maybe in a month or so hotel will lose the paint smell and be more comfortable.
