Nothing.
The service, the pool area, the restaurant, the hallways and elevators -everything.
Close to family
Sheets scratchy. AC did not work. No rooms close to our kids and we had to upgrade to get adjacent rooms
A éviter absolument!
Great service
The location is near the city center and is somewhat old.
Không có nước nóng !
Nice hotel with a great staff
This hotel is definitely for only Vietnamese people. What I mean by that is they don't believe in air conditioning. They don't have air conditioning in the public areas. Air conditioning barely worked. Definitely not up to Western standards
I need to use google translate for communication with the staff. No iron available, no pool available due to a wedding. A 4:50 am a lady with a speaker super loud at street. Due to not understand the language I assumed was aerobic class at that time. Was over and over until almost 9 am. Breakfast was ok.
We stayed only 1 night to catch the boat to Phu Quoc the next morning. The room is spacious, but dated. Bed was hard. The hotel is across the street from a government building that has loud speakers broadcasting at 4:45 in the morning. Bathroom is a wet bathroom, meaning the shower was not enclosed. So taking a shower will wet the whole bathroom floor. On the positive side is the included breakfast. The food was good and there was a wide selection of Western and Vietnamese foods.
nice hotel
Central and very clean 🤝
N/A
Restaurant being set outside the garden very nice and clean , staff very polite
Food
Quiet, convenient location
Breakfast had a good selection for the area. Pool is likely the better one in the area. Gym is huge and spacious - surprised.
Rooms are dated and a little dark Gym closes at an early hour despite the price of the stay (limited access) and pool as well
Overall good experience, we had the family apartment, pretty well set out for a family, second shower would have been nice, but not a deal breaker, there is a second bathroom with toilet and sink, just no shower. Beds are very firm/hard on the king, but kids beds are medium. Pool is a decent size, gym is ok, but badminton courts need attention. Central location and easy to get to places.
The lighting wasn't so great. The bathtub was high and difficult to get in and out. The room has AC but the common areas do not. The bathroom was mopped every day but I don't think the carpet was vacuumed every day. The food was good and the seating was comfortable. The staff was good. The outside of the hotel is beautiful with bonsais and other nice plants.
Clean
We are very happy with all of the staffs they are polite and helpful
love the space, clean enough
Clean and quiet
Clean, spacious, two toilets for family room
Breakfast didn’t have enough fruit varieties
Tuyệt vời
Staff were attentive to patrons.
the breasfast is not bad location is good
The service is very good and friendly
The bathroom shower tube is dirty around the edges If they can fix then will be perfect. Thx
After a flat tire the staff helped me to find s tire shop nearby to fix the problem. But as always there is that problem with the breakfast, because i am a vegetarian - i got only pineapple and watermelon but they forgot the avocado. Anyway, out of the season with just a few guests the service is good.
Place was very well maintained and staff were wonderful. The only things is guests were allowed to smoke in the hallway on the floors so we constantly walked a smoking area every time we went back to our rooms. Perhaps have a designated area in the lobby that is a smoking area would be better?
Terrible
Too hot
Dated hotel, poor location
"Due to urgent time, I booked a room at Rex Saigon Hotel for one night but the impression of the hotel was very good. The hotel is located in a beautiful location and very convenient for traveling to tourist attractions. Hotel staff. because my family booked the room in a hurry, but you guys were very supportive The street or window has a nice view, so next time I will have to ask about the room in advance when booking. I am really satisfied with my stay at the hotel."
The building needs a new coat of paint, noticed some chipping and broken cements
Finding a clean and functional hotel in a more remote part of Vietnam can be difficult to find. This hotel is a rare exception. It is clean, the room is practical, the staff are friendly and it delivers on its promises. I do hope that tourists will come back soon as there were only a few guests staying at the hotel on the Sunday night that I stayed there.
The property is huge and well-known but not well maintained as carpet looks 30 years old with all sorts of stains.
Breakfast buffets wasn’t that good A lot of good food was on sale for breakfast
Clean, nice looking hotel, but air flow was not good. Could not change air conditioning level in room and lobby was stuffy. We couldn’t get a hotel taxi to the ferry terminal and front desk staff wouldn’t call another taxi service and told us to go out to the road to flag one down.
4 stars hotel ... Overall was okay... Breakfast was not good compared with other 4 star hotel. The staff of hotel good , helpfully ,friendly .....
The hotel is biggest in town at the moment. I found it’s interesting which many wall pictures, showing famous people saying. It doesn’t look like a state owned company where nonsense slogans hanging everywhere! Room is clean. New dimsum breakfast facility is served. Haven’t tried any other hotels yet, so can’t compare them. However I could recommend this hotel for staying in town. One thing I don’t like. FO offers airport transport at 6:15am only when the flight is at 7:00. They make customers nervous.
The hotel has been well maintained and consistent with good service, friendly staffs and good breakfast! We have stayed here every time we come to Rach gia which was quite often and they haven't let us down at all!

Excellent staffs and service. The breeze was very nice at time and very enjoyable.
Very nice stay. Great service. Ac worked good. Breakfast was a big buffet
All good and thanks My falily will come back for next vacation
Excellent food, beautiful hotel, spacious rooms, friendly staff
Booking an executive Suite expects an executive service - not here. Eighter i‘m not a local or because you find here no professionals in their job. Sorry for this review but to claim being the best hotel at the place means also to see the needs of a guest and give the best to make this stay impressive.
Pool was a relief; the grounds were large enough to create a sense of tranquility in a very busy world. Location excellent.
Mycket barnfamiljer i poolen.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised upon arriving. We were greeted immediately and the check in process was fast and easy. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast buffet has a good variety and the restaurant was a very good and affordable dinner option. The reason for my poor rating is that very early in the morning (before the sun came up) there was a knock on our door and a voice that followed, “Housekeeping”. I was woken up to find a man not in uniform standing in my room. He claimed to be housekeeping and that he was there to clean the room. I told him to leave as I was sleeping and I would be checking out after breakfast. I told the front desk what happened and all they did was apologize. This incident made me feel uncomfortable/ unsafe and will deter me from ever staying there again.
Staff was extremely polite and did the best they can to accomodate. Only complaint we had was the shower/tub combination was not very well thought out. Everytime we showered, water would leak to the ground and caused a flood-like effect outside the tub.
When traveling of the beaten (business) routes you never know what to expect. We were pleased with the new and clean rooms and super large king size beds. Breakfast buffet was very extensive and tasty. Staff spoke little english but helpful when needed.
A reasonable price or quality and service for this rural town. There is only one flight to and departing from Rạch Giá to HCM city. The departing flight is at 7am, but the breakfast starts at 6 am, thus you leave hungry. Hotel should be aware of this and help their customers with a quick breakfast.
Pros - Nice and clean hotel you expect from 4 star hotel. Also no mosquitoes! Breakfast buffet had many selections. I would recommend the local fish noodle soup "bun ca" . Suggest skip most of the other Vietnamese dishes as they were kind of bland and you are more likely to find better in local restaurants. Cons - Some loud guests made for a less than quiet stay. Also is a bit far from city center. ~ 10 minutes taxi
They have nice facilities like pool, clean rooms, comfy beds, grand entrance, landscaped geounds, breakfast buffet and gym with ping pong table but the gym and entrance a.c. is usually not on. Since Rach gia is so hot sometimes you just need that relief once you step inside. The staff are very friendly. We had a few incidents that was not enjoyable. We were sick for 2 days and wanted to rest but there was constant noise like garbage dumping or laundry machines. We asked twice to be moved to a quieter room and was told there are no rooms available when we don't see the hotel that busy. We also lost a pouch of medicine which was a disappointment and obviously nothing can be done about it.
I don’t know how to describe but it felt like we just stayed at a money laundering property. The hotel is ridiculous large but doesn’t have any guests. The check in process was confusing to the agent since she didn’t know how to look up Orbitz confirmation number yet was able to give me a key a few seconds later. She didn’t know about the shuttle information. I also don’t like the fact that our passports were kept overnight. The next morning, check out took a while because the agent had to wait for another person to check the fridge to make sure we didn’t drink anything.
Nice quiet hotel with good breakfast
Had a pleasant stay at Saigon Rach Gia Hotel. Spacious room with lots of outdoor sitting areas. Small but good breakfast buffet.
nice hotel - clean and comfortable. If i had to go there again, i'll choose another hotel near the sea or shopping center. there are a lot of hotels that are actually not available on website such as expedia.
Overall, the hotel facilities was good and rooms were clean. However, communication was poor. Although, there is a disclaimer that requests are subject to availability, it would have been appreciated if the hotel could notify us of changes made to reservations (ie. Unable to meet bedding requests) which were not communicated at all until arrival at the room after check-in. Further, in the hotel manual found in the room detailing facilities available - stated that the pool was open until 10pm (photos available) however, when we went down for a swim at 8pm, we were informed that the pool was closed for cleaning - reflects poor communication as we only found out when we went down for the swim.
This is my third or fourth time staying at this hotel but every time I came back I saw huge but positive change at the hotel. Staffs here are very nice and helpful. They would answer your every need immediately and with courteous manners. Their service and care are truly genuine. Rooms were clean and comfortable. However, it would be very helpful if they can keep an eye on the tour groups and guests, especially those from Northern Vietnam. They talked so loud in the hall way, and inside their rooms with doors wide opened no matter at what time of the day or night, be that early morning or late night! If they can do that, then the stay here would be very comfortable well worth the money.
Overall Good hotel to stay. Recommend to all when visiting Rach Gia.
Stayed here during 4 nights and had a very pleasant stay. Nice hotel with lovely, attentive staff as well as with nice rooms. You will find everything (or even more) you need on a level you usually find in this region. Liked it it very much. They also have a nice pool if someone can find the time there to just lay back and relax. Overall we had a pleasant stay and can recommend the hotel to everyone.
There is the only 4 stars hotel in Rach Gia city. There is not many things to see in Rach Gia but it is a good place to stay a night before going by speech boot to Phu Quoc. We drove from Can Tho to Rach Gia, then stayed one night then next day take the speech boat to Phu Quoc at 8 AM. The hotel is new, room is clean and well made. I think it is the best hotel in Rach Gia where there are not many choices.
A large, modern hotel located quite a distance from the centre and on a busy road. The rooms are functional and clean. Friendly staff. We had a 'Premier Deluxe' and it was fine but wished I'd asked for one facing the opposite side to the road. There is a decent pool and gardens to the rear and a large restaurant. Everything was fine, except for the very substandard breakfast. A miserable selection of food, the only thing that I found appetising was an omelette. The choice for coffee was either a sachet of white coffee with sugar or a sachet of black coffee also with sugar. I asked for coffee without sugar and was told OK but I would have to pay for it. I think this was the first time this has happened to me. I know it's only coffee, but come on!
Good hotel located on city center. Facilities are new and clean. Staffs are friendly. There are not much choice of breakfast. As located next to government offices hence there are less restaurant/street foods if you want to get local foods outside by walking.
Stayed for one night ar this very empty hotel. Very nice entrance and super friendly receptionist, big room and bed. The staff does not speak english. Breakfast is very vietnam. Good food for dinner. Pool is good and varm. Very strange feeling staying at this hotel. Can't explain it other then it feels like you are under surveillance the whole time ☺ but maybe they are just not used to tourists and that there were no other people there.... But great for just one night.
