Super 8 by Wyndham Vermilion AB

Super great staff! Check in was easy. Everyone was friendly. The rooms and whole hotel were clean. The pool was clean and the kids had fun on the waterside. We had a super late check in but the security was amazing and helpful! Also in the morning, the service was great too!

Very friendly staff.

The pool temperature was too cold for my old bones lol

LOCK YOUR ROOM!!! Staff tried to enter our room TWICE while I was nude. They did nothing to rectify this aside from apologizing. This is a huge issue. We had it latched thankfully but it was terrifying and violating.

The room was good, comfortable bed, good coffee.

The stairwell.

Water slide and pool

Hotel breakfast not really up to standard

Breakfast was okay

Carpets in room were unacceptable they were ripped and tattered, and did not look clean for 160.00 s night. The room was not appealing at all!

It was wonderful. We had a nice day. Hope to come back here soon.

There was no hot tub and other guests were swimming in their underwear. Beds were not very comfortable. Heating/cooling systems need upgrading

The retro art historical art work

Breakfast was meager

I picked that one to stay at because I stay there before and liked it.

Clean excellent staff

Handy

Everything except the gym

The gym . It was unusable . Reminded me of Mexico . Nothing in operation . Could be nicer , more functional weight equipment.

No issues. Would stay again. Nice pool.

My stay was good with a few problems The tv remote volume and on-off would not work There were not enough blankets on the bed, my sleeping experience was very cold. Finally got up and put sweats and a hoodie on to sleep in. This was after I had turned the air off

The accommodation was exactly as advertised. I was very satisfied with the comfort of the room and the friendliness of the staff.

Super 8s don’t have great breakfasts. It’s free, but it’s very limited. Small space. The room was ok. We were about to bring our dog.

When I moved to another room there was a diaper and tissues in the garbage bin. And there were flies during the breakfast hours.

When I moved to another room there was a diaper and some other tissues in the garbage bin. And the flies during the breakfast hours. Besides that I enjoyed staying at super 8. The staff is so helpful and very polite.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.

Clean and comfortable

When I made the booking through Booking.com the listing stated a 4 room suite with 4 queen beds. When we arrived it was 2 rooms with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bunk bed. Not at all what was advertised. When I asked about it at the front desk the response I got was not really helpful, she said no such room existed. The room info should be updated to reflect the actual state of the room, we were mislead.

ok

Staff was great! Place was clean and just like photos. Great family restaurant attached to hotel.

The breakfast could be for longer period of time. It was jut 6-9am on weekdays so we missed it.

Clean and comfortable beds

The staff. Particularly one gentleman that was on a night shift. He was an amazing guy. Accommodating, friendly, and kind. I didn’t catch his name but he was exceptional. And the coffee.

All good.

How come expedia does not offer senior discount?

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay

Hotel was very nice, great location and the staff allowed us to stay later before check out which was so great, thank you

Pillows were quite firm

It was quite adequate for our simple overnight stay. The bed and bedding were quite good and overall the room was clean. The only drawbacks were the cloying smell of some sort of air freshener and a very basic free breakfast.

Good location for my business travel. The room was confortable, The facility clean; Ok fitness room and ok breakfast.

The others customers as they were yelling in the hallway.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

Good but on check-in we could have been told it would be easier to park in the back to unload.Insted of carrying everything all the way to the room.

The pre-checkin online really streamlined the process. So easy. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Check in was quick and efficient. Lots of parking available in front and behind hotel. Hotel room was very clean, good amenities in room. The hotel was very quiet overnight. All in all a very pleasant stay and will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

Hotel room was very clean. Bathroom was nicely finished. Hallway was quiet at night. Hotel accommodated our request for a main floor room for our pets. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient.

I have stayed there several times while my son went to college there and always enjoyed staying there.

This hotel was close to our intended activity location.

Breakfast selection not great.

Was very quiet as so few people booked in but the beds were comfortable and it was all we needed for a quick stay over.

Decent prices and great staff

Good stay, great shower pressure

Queen suite was great for a family of 4.

No hot tub☹️ Bunk bed was very squeaky

There was no elevator at the property (we had a large crew of dance families) so there were a lot of trips up and down the stairs. No offer from staff to hold the door open or assist us with anything. The breakfast was very plain and minimal. The hotel and rooms smelled funky. Most rooms had teeny tiny fridges. Wasn’t great. Beds were comfy and A/c worked, so those are positives.

👍

It was a 2 story walk up and for older people an elevator would be nice. Otherwise beautiful stay.

Good

Great stay as usual

It’s always nice to be able to park at the back door of your room so you don’t have to pack all your luggage in through the building

it was clean, quiet and the breakfast was ok. The basics that we needed for our simple night stay to visit Lakeland college

Yup

Was a fantastic stay. Only complaint is the pillows are too thick, so bring your own pillows.

Very quiet, clean and staff was very helpful and accommodating

Clean rooms, breakfast on the go. Friendly staff

Breakfast included, very clean room. Beds comfortable.

Staff were so friendly and helpful.

My daughter’s graduation at Lakeland. It was very convenient

The hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast was quite adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Little touches like the décoré added to a pleasant stay.

Average Canadian hotel. Little breakfast options but not bad. Free parking and free Internet, friendly staff, can be repeated! I was impressed by the firefighting artifacts that are scattered throughout the building. It fits the theme, as we were here to attend our sons graduation from Lakeland college for firefighting

This was a great Super 8. Great size room, good bed and pillows, lot of counter space, can have outside access, and restaurant Nick's attached was very good. Was offered a choice of gluten free bars at desk for breakfast besides oatmeal. All in all a good stay.

All was good, room I had was a bit noisy as it overlooked the lobby. Restaurant beside is good, a few restaurants within walking distance. Was clean, good bed.

Great staff and quiet convenient

Good

Good!

Nice place staff were great only thing I did not like was no elevator

good

Clean hotel. Very good hygiene at breakfast area. Overall good parking, close to other services. Downside was lady at check in was on the slightly rude side. Also, towels were not replenished after 1st night.

Staff were great and accomadating ie. Early check in, extra coffee. Pool was clean . The nearby restaurant was great. Nice menu and good food.

Train train and more train no hot tub

mostly quiet relaxing enviornment easy to find

The location was perfectly situated for access to the Lakeland Rowing Club on the river. We were in Vermilion for a 3-day training camp and our room was cool, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were friendly and easy to talk to. Cleaning staff were great in switching out towels. The beds were quite comfy and we slept very well each night. Breakfast was exactly what we needed before a long day of training. And the AC worked so well given the extreme heat and smoke outside. The attached restaurant provided tasty and healthy meal options and portion sizes were large.

I could hear the people walking around upstairs in the suite above us and some of the guests slammed their doors. But this isn’t your fault. These are the only things that disrupted my evening and early bedtime.

Clean. Quite

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Room was good other than the carpeting, it needs replacing badly. Other than than good value.

Good location close to restaurants

The included breakfast was a disappointment. For that reason I would choose another hotel in the area in the future.

Spacious rooms and friendly Stuff. The hotel met our expectations and we were satisfied with our stay.

Breakfast was basic with limoted options.

The room was comfortable and the facility very clean.

The breakfast was a bit lacking but adequate selection for continental style breakfast.
