Pomeroy Inn and Suites Vermilion

Clean, well maintained, easy access, comfortable beds

Excellent

All good

Breakfast was very good, a little above the average complimentary breakfast. The attendant was very aware and focused on keeping everything fresh and resupplied.

Other than the hallways being a little uncomfortably cold, perhaps because it was a cool summer day and the air conditioning was running steadily, there wasn't much to dislike. Our personal preferences found the pillows to all be at least three times too thick.

Check in was quick and easy, staff was friendly and facility's were excellent

Breakfast was challenging due to the waffle dispenser breaking down after each use and one of the staff when asked about it stated " I will get to it sometime but not a priority" Expectations are when breakfast is offered for a limited time period all things should be a priority.

Very well kept property, good breakfast

Great experience, price seemed a little steep but we did get breakfast so probably ok

The clean room, I upgraded for the kitchenette and it was certainly worth while. The room was very clean, spacious and comfy. The pool facility was very clean and the breakfast was amazing, tons of options and changed up on different days.

The hallway to my room smelt like a dirty diaper.

I highly recommend it. The hotel is located in a quiet setting. The staff is knowledgeable. The room is large, comfortable and clean, and the mattress and pillow are very comfortable. Heating/air conditioning work well . I can open a small window for fresh air. Good lighting and a comfortable reading chair. Large mini-fridge with freezer space. Good hot and cold breakfast , nice breakfast room.

First ; Booking.com write a wrong address ; southwest . The good address is northwest NOT southwest Bathroom fan is noisy and is on all the time

Just nice and roomie

Shower pressure low

Breakfast was excellent

Bed was just a bit too hard for me but not bad. I found the bedding noisy when someone rolled over in it, had a rubbing noise.

great for kids, pool and breakfast

The rooms were very nice and the staff were really good.

Great Staff, Price and Free Breakfast ☺️

The people. Awesome staff

Very clean

The pillows were way too high and big and I woke up with a very sore neck and headache. Pillows need to be flatter

Great location. Close to Lakeland College. Discount for college commitments very much appreciated!! Staff excellent and helpful, Hotel itself and room very clean, comfortable, great breakfast, and quiet. Would stay here again.

An onsite restaurant would be a bonus.

Breakfast selection was excellent. It was a busy morning so it was challenging for the staff to replenish certain items but overall a great expereince.

Nothing.

We were suprised at how nice the room was. Great place to stay.

Booking.com confirmed our booking by email, but it was not to be found upon arrival a couple days later. Front desk sorted it out and luckily they had room. Something fell apart, this is the second time we have experienced this, so I always carry paper and email confirmation of booking, because hotel would be under no obligation to find us a room. Verify your booking with hotel!

Large room, clean, friendly staff

The fact that when I got there, I had no room. They claimed booking.com had not sent they my information.

Location. Breakfast and staff

Saving a bit of money using booking.comas good . Nice clean facility . Staff are excellent

Weather and snow lol

Was given room next to pool. Too loud. Difficult to fall asleep.

We always stay at the Pomeroy when in Vermilion. A home away from home.

Cleanliness, comfortable bed, pleasant staff.

No granola or yogurt at breakfast. Ok coffee

Location was excellent, staff were friendly and we enjoyed the water slide and pool. The pool was comfortable temperature the kids and I spent hours swimming.

The pictures in the room scared my children as they have warning signs and graffiti that say "watch your back" and "Help". We covered the pictures so the children could sleep.

Friendly, helpful staff.

We didn’t discover that the manager has ties to Borradaile until we were departing. Someday, if we return, we will ask him about access to Bowtell Community Center, the school where my dad and his siblings attended school.

We booked a king suite, it was amazing. Lots of room, very clean. The staff was great. We used the hotub/pool/waterslide. It was quiet and good temperatures. It was in good shape.

Clean and quiet

Everything was great rooms were spotless and pool and slide was amazing

The bed's are very hard , the pillow is not good either very hard to sleep through the night. The fridge is very loud in the night that keeps you awake too for sure. The Stuff was very nice and the breakfast was good

Very clean property and the staff were friendly and courteous!

Everything was great

We booked a king suite and were very pleased with the kitchen, living area and separate bedroom design

The hotel was nice. Breakfast was excellent

Front desk staff very helpful

Service was good needs better cleaning

10/10 stay, great hotel

A very nice hotel in small town Alberta is often hard to find. The Pomeroy in Vermilion is an exception. Clean, spacious room, easy check-in and check-out, good location. We enjoyed our stay!

The front desk worker was extremely rude. I was there in Vermilion for my mom's funeral and the worker definitely made it a lot worse.

Service and the room wasn't cleaned after the first night. Had to ask for fresh towels, toilet.paper and conditioner

Great place to stay. Clean, convenient with friendly staff.

Clean, beautiful area

Very clean and friendly

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The pool area was clean. The room was clean. Thank you for a great stay.

Accommodations were fine - clean and comfortable -and the staff were great.

Location

Stayed four night and our room didn’t get cleaned once . They brought towels and said to leave garbage out by door and dirty towels they stayed there for a good day before anyone picked them up . Breakfast was slow and coffee not filled up and cups always short and ran out of yogourt

Liked multi bed room with full kitchen

We booked a king room with a couch that turns into a bed and requested we not be on the ground floor, multiple rooms available at time of booking. We got the Expedia special, room on the ground floor, directly beside the lobby, on the hallway to the pool, king but no couch/fold out, just two chairs. We were only there one night, we got in late and left early, room wasn’t horrible, it was noisy when we arrived but quoted down shortly after and it was clean.

Very clean and quiet . Good breakfast and friendly staf

Canadian-owned! It’s new, clean and just a really nice hotel. Breakfast was great and the pool was nice.

Would be great to just leave the pool open 24 hours. There’s no lifeguard. Then adults can enjoy some quiet time there. The hot tub temperature was a little hot for summer.

It was clean and the location was great for the wedding we attended

The pillows were pretty big and hard to sleep on

We had a family gathering at the hotel after a funeral and the staff let us use the breakfast area for our visit It was awesome and a big thank you to the hotel team

Great hotel with very friendly front desk staff.

Great location right off the highway, nice staff.

Michael the general manager was very courteous, professional and efficient with checking us in. There are several shops within walking distance of the Pomeroy.
