The White Cottage

We enjoyed our stay very much! Everything was perfect and O was very helpful and kind. We are looking forward to come back. I can only recommend to stay at the White Cottage :)

Ihana henkilökunta, siisti mökki ja uima-allas, hyvä ja hiljainen sijainti! 7eleven 5min kävelymatkan päässä. Todella hyviä ruokapaikkoja heti hotellin lähettyvillä.

Vedenpaine oli hieman alhainen ajoittain ja välillä poikki kokonaan vähän aikaa. Tämä ei tietenkään ole majoituspaikan vika vaan johtuu yleisesti koh samuin huonosta vesitilanteesta.

Clean and helpful staff

The manager was really nice and accommodating, the cottage was comfortable and the shower was almost as big as a room.

We loved these cottages, we had a family room (2 adults and 2 teenagers). The location was excellent, a 10 minute walk to fisherman’s village and restaurants, shops, market. The manager was really friendly and helpful. Exceptional value for money, we would definitely return again.

Not that it was a problem but the pool is fairly small with only a couple of sun loungers, but we were generally the only ones in the pool when we wanted to go in. It would be tight if all visitors wanted to use the pool at the same time, but not a problem while we were there.

Dichtbij het strand, fijne bedden en prettige en rustige sfeer. Maar vooral, wat een lieve, betrokken en zorgzame mensen die daar werken. Ze stonden echt voor ons klaar en dachten met ons mee. Ze hebben heel erg aan onze fijne verblijf bijgedragen.

La personne de l'accueil et sa sœur sont adorables. Heureusement qu'elle étaient là pour essayer de nous trouver des solutions.

LE BOSS!, la propreté... NOte de 8.7 sur Booking très étonnant!!. - Cafard (normale d'après le BOSS, il a mis un coup de bombe et voilà, à moi de le ramasser). - Odeur nauséabonde dans les salles de bain (nous avions réservé 2 chambres pour 4 pour 2 nuits). - Eau marron dans la douche, obligé de se laver à la bouteille d'eau... - Chambres vétustes. - Aucun services et entretien de cette établissement BREF à fuir!!

Hübsche kleine Unterkunft in Strandnähe und in der Umgebung mit vielen Cafés und Restaurants und nah zum Fishermans Village. Freundliches Personal. Super Preis/Leistung.

Hier und da etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte etwas modernisiert werden. Strand nicht flach und grobkörniger.

Great little budget hotel with lovely simple rooms and a very nice pool area. Good location just a short stroll to the beach as well as shops restaurants and bars.

Bardzo ładny butikowy resort z kilkoma bungalowami prą węże przy plaży. Zadbany ogród i ładny wystrój pokoju i ośrodka. Mały i czysty basen. Wygodne łóżko z moskitierą dobrze bo są komary. Obok restauracja Omsin z pysznym jedzeniem i kiepskim wyglądem.

Jedyny problem to nieprzyjemny zapach z łazienki prawdopodobnie z nawiewu tak intensywny, że ciężko było wytrzymać. Dobrze że nie przedostawał się do pokoju.

Gutes und günstiges Hotel mit kleinem Pool, den man 24 Stunden benutzen kann. Man kann zum Strand durch das Hotel daneben gehen, das ist sehr praktisch. Der Strand ist gut. Es gibt viele Wasseratraktionen, Jetski, Bananaboat etc. Restaurants und Supermarkt gibt es in der Nähe und Fisherman‘s Village ist auch zu Fuß zu erreichen. wir waren nur eine Nacht da.

De vriendelijkheid van de dame is goed. Ze reageert heel snel op je vragen.

Het was een doorreishotel dus bewust goedkopere keuze gemaakt maar desondanks dit feit tonen de foto’s een verzorgder beeld dan de realiteit. Het is echt verouderd. De douche spuit de hele badkamer nat en de badkameraccommodatie is echt aan vernieuwing toe. De kamer zelf was gewoon vier bedden, that’s it. De bedden waren ook heel hard. Ik ben er van overtuigd dat met wat investering in de kamers ze er iets beter van kunnen maken.

Très confortable et bien situé, en 2 eme ligne de plage. Accès rapide à une plage magnifique, personnel souriant et sympa. Petit piscine très agréable. Ménage quotidien à la demande. Proche de toutes commodités pour les courses, resto, massages…

On entend un peu le bruit de la route la nuit en fonction du vent, mais rien de gênant.

Cottage proche de Fisherman village (20 min à pied) tout en étant au calme. Les bungalows sont agréables autour d une piscine dans un décor tres sympa. La plage est juste derriere et on y accede en 5 min par un chemin.La literie est confortable. Ce qui a rendu notre séjour Exceptionnel c est O ( désolé pour l orthographe de votre prénom) la personne qui sont occupe de l accueil. Elle est formidable : gentille , souriante de bons conseils et d une aide précieuse pour nous aider à réserver les taxis et excursions. Encore merci L ensemble du personnel est d ailleurs tres sympathique et serviable également.

Very good place with a nice and comftable big bed. The lady helped with every thing 24/7. Clean the breakfast cheap. Ithank them for the nice stay and will certanly go back.

Un charmant petit hôtel, au calme mais tout proche de la route principale donc tous les commerces sont à proximité ainsi que le night market de fisherman s village. O est adorable et de bons conseils, elle propose de vérifier si les tarifs de taxis sont ok sinon elle réserve pour nous de son côté

An amazing place to stay! The owner was absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful. She even called and booked our excursions for us without asking for any extra payment. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The location was great 2 mins Walk to the beach and 10 mind walk to the fisherman market and a really comfortable bed.

Although staff are nice, kind and tried their best they were not prepared for a day long power outage. Not only was there no electricity which is not their fault, their water pump runs on electricity and unlike neighbouring hotels, they didn’t have any workaround /power back up to provision for water in the toilets which made the room unliveable for an entire day.

pequeñito pero bien resuelto, piscina suficiente y habitacion con baño mas que bien. la verdad que repetiria sin problema. a 50 metros tiene un restaurante local donde se come que te mueres y un seven para abastecimiento basico. vamos todo bien.

la playa de bo phut tiene bien de mierda... pero bueno esto no es cosa del alojamiento claro.

Wir waren das erste Mal auf Samui und somit auch in dieser Unterkunft. Uns hat es wirklich so super gefallen und wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Kleine süße Unterkunft und daher auch nicht überlaufen. Ein Roller konnte auch direkt über O gebucht werden und es hat alles super geklappt. Wenn ihr auf Samui sein solltet, können wir diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen!

La señora que nos atendio fue demasiado amable y siempre estuvo atenta a lo que necesitaramos. Los espacios como la piscina y la zona de comer son muy bonitas y limpias.

La localizacion del lugar es buena. Pero es un poco dificil conseguir buenos restaurantes a su alrededor.

La struttura è molto carina e pulitissima! con piscina 24h, abbiamo soggiornato 3 amici e una di loro faceva il compleanno e O ci fatto trovare una sorpresa in camera per la nostra amica, i suoi consigli di O sono stati molto utili soprattutto per il tour e la night life! Grazie mille a tutto lo staff! E stato meraviglioso! Se torniamo a Samui sicuramente soggiorneremmo in questa struttura un’altra volta! Grazie ancora!

Structure sympathique à taille humaine. Chambre agréable et propre. Toutefois, l’insonorisation est vraiment mauvaise. On peut entendre tout ce que font les voisins.

Basic catering no lunch or dinner

The hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable, with excellent service and a great location. The staff were friendly and very kind and helpful, and overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Less positive for me was the fact that there was no window in the bathroom.

Super nette Inhaberin mit tollen Tipps und immer hilfsbereit! Man kann Roller und Ausflüge über die Inhaberin buchen. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet Preis/Leistung passt! Lage ist top - man ist ziemlich schnell am Strand und bei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (7eleven, Restaurants,..) Frühstück gibt es in der Unterkunft gegen Bezahlung - haben wir aber nicht in Anspruch genommen, somit können wir nichts darüber sagen.

Zimmer ist sehr klein - am ehesten nur für Backpacker. Es gibt keine Möglichkeiten den Koffer offen liegen zu lassen. Badezimmer ohne Fenster, Bett ist nur eine Matratze auf einem Podest.. für 2 Nächte war es ok. Klimaanlage sehr laut und nicht wirklich wirkungsvoll. Ziemlich hellhörig

Pool a bit small, but only 11 rooms in complex

Klein maar alles wat je op een vakantie wenst. Knusse plek strand om de hoek. Klein zwembadje wat prima is om er snel in re plonzen.. koelkastje op de kamer. Aparte wc en douche. Schoon. Klamboe boven je bed.

We zijn er 2 x in een vakantie geweest. De 2e keer maar 1 nacht. Toen hadden we een huisje in een hoekje waar we niet lekker op de veranda konden zitten. Toen gebruik gemaakt vd tuin. Veel geluid vd grote weg ook al ligt t in een straatje

The manager was extremely helpful and could not do enough for us. She even gave us a gift when we left.

The staff were amazing, really helpful with booking things and advising places to go. It was really quiet and peaceful, very clean and well cared for. It was set back away from the main road so there wasn't lots of traffic noise. It was close to lots of shops and places to eat.

Nothing related to any issues with the accommodation, but it was a bit of a walk down the main road to get to the fisherman's village area and the beach. The beach wasn't very clean as far as the water looked brown, which was off putting so we didn't go in the sea the whole time we were there

It was my second time staying at this place. Love the location. Rooms are very cozy and comfy. Just a peaceful place where you can really relax and be comfortable. The staff are as always very kind and helpful.

A fantastic little place in a excellent location to amenities. Very peaceful as its offset from the road. The lady was more then helpful . Organised a motorbike for us promptly and offer us help continuously. I would 100% stay here again.

Great host O and her helpers made our stay flawless. Location is great, much quieter than many other place. 1 minute walk to the beach. Hot/cold water pressure is great. Rooms are very clean. Good breakfast for a reasonable price

Beds are a bit too hard, but perfect for others. It was not clear about sun beds and umbrellas. I thought we had them for our use, but the resort requires to spend at least a 1000baht. We spent that anyway in their bar, so had at least 1-2 sun beds available for 4 of us.

Das war sehr schöne Unterkunf in Koh Samui. Das Frühstück war simple aber lecker. Der Pool war klein, aber ausreichend für unsere Kids. Das Bett hatte Mosquito Netz, es gab viele Mosquitos. Das Zimmer war klein, aber reicht für 3 Nächte. Die Mitarbeiterin und Besitzerin/r waren nett und hilfsbereit. Würde weiterempfehlen.

Ein bisschen Abseits vom Night Markt. Wir sind zu Fuß gelaufen. In 10 min ist man aber schon am Anfang des Markets. Die Tuk Tuks sind leider zu teuer wenn man Abends nach Hause kommt. Lieber laufen 😆

The location was perfect for us as family to fisherman village and lots of fab restaurants The manager was very nice she was very tired working well over her time.

The swimming pool was filthy green We were there for 4 nights and not once could we use it he pool A worker was hand cleaning it with a small machine the next day it was green again , and again cleaned it with the handheld cleaner and green again. In the height of summer it's a shame not to have a working pool. We had to use the karma resort across the road 1000 thb each (highly recommend it's stunning) towels pool beach and the money back on food , the food was very nice We arrived and the room we got handed facing the end of the pool( it's on its own)was very bad the doors slid open on each side when locket your whole arm could fit in on both sides it was unsafe with kids and the noise of the cacidas was so loud they may aswell of been in the room with us.

Ubytování mělo skvělou pozici, nebylo úplně v centru - místo bylo klidné. Doporučujeme i restauraci na rožku při příjezdu, byli jsme tam maximálně spokojeni.

V jednom z bungalovů špatně odtékal odpad ve sprše a lehce zapáchal, v druhém špatně odtékalo WC. Bazén měl na fotografiích nádherné čistou vodu, v realitě byla zakalena a plaval v ní nepořádek ze stromu, bali jsme se v bazénu koupat. Na pláž to ovšem bylo pár minut pěšky.

Sehr nette Chefin. Sie hat sehr gute Tipps. Alles sauber. Bequeme Betten. Pool und Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt.

The property was a little gem tucked off a beach full of resorts it’s a 2 min walk to the beach 10 min walk to the market. It’s a busy area lots of resorts and fancy restaurants with a really great Thai market tucked behind.

The area was too touristy and too resorty for us the white cottage was a nice get away from it all. O was a fantastic host and super helpful.

La gentillesse du personnel

Un personnel aux petits soins surtout la patronne qui ce souciait de tout. Elle a été d'une aide précieuse pour nous aider à nous déplacer en nous réservant des taxis moins cher que sur grab. On a beaucoup échangé par whatsapp, elle nous demandait toujours si ça allait...bref un amour. La piscine est un plus surtout avec la chaleur qu'il fesait et le fait d'être un petit établissement permettait de sympatiser avec les autres vacanciers.

Le matelas du lit était un peu trop dur pour nous et peut-être un 2ème coussin dans le lit( même si quand on en a demandé un 2ème ils nous l'ont desuite emmené) et une 2ème serviette de toilette seraient un plus mais bon rien de méchant.

Nous avons adoré le site , tout proche de la plage le calme, la décoration du jardin, la chambre spacieuse et confortable, et je terminerai par l' extrême gentillesse de l-' hôtesse d' accueil , adorable et de bon conseil. Merci infiniment

Good location close to airport and ferry pier (I only stayed for 1 night after my flight arrived and before departing to Koh Tao the next day). It's in a fairly quiet area and while the rooms face the pool, each room has some plants around the entrance to give a bit of privacy and your own outdoor seating area.. The room was comfortable with some cute decoration which made it a good place for a short stay on Samui.

Thus was the second time ive stayed at the white cottage. It's the staff is an absolute pleasure. They always make sure you are well taken care of it's a very small and you feel almost like family there. Some things are beginning to look a little dated and could use a little pick me up. The beds are firm which are fine for some. I just prefer something softer and maybe a few more pillows. But the location is amazing. The staff our top tier. The pool is lovely.Then, I would recommend the spot to anyone.

We had an excellent experience at The White Cottage, and were particularly impressed by the staff who were incredibly kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us very welcome.
