The Max Hotel Sandton

Very comfortable, very clean and wonderful staff who always respond promptly to every request..

Clean

Nothing

Location was good and the hotel was safe as it had private parking, wires around the place and a gate across the front. People on the front desks were great. The restaurant was delicious too

The hotel shuttle was extortionate - it cost far too much and we didn't really find out important information unless we ask. We couldn't book another shuttle as nobody was available too. There were renovations going on as well so the pool was out of use and was slightly noisy

Everything was perfect

Looking forward to having a swimming pool

Everything about the place was exceptional

Have netflix on the tv

The apartments are well maintained, clean and neat. The on site restaurant serves great meals.

A few times our electricity tripped. It's quite difficult having to wattsapp each time you need something

Just add a smart tv in the sitting room please

Exceptional Service: The staff and management go above and beyond with warm, attentive, and highly professional service throughout the stay. Impeccable Rooms & Amenities: Accommodation is spotless, modern, and thoughtfully equipped with high-quality furnishings that ensure total comfort. Ideal Self-Catering Setup: The fully equipped kitchen facilities make cooking convenient and effortless, making it an ideal choice for both short and extended stays in Sandton suitable for families with young children.

Everything was great!

The Restaurant dining area was comfortable with great service. The room was spacious and clean. The room looked over the back of the building and was quiet. The breakfast was very good and not served buffet style. Great Cappuccino. Location is great to neighboring restaurants and schools.

No one met us as we arrived to help with luggage and to greet us, instead he was vacuuming the floor? I asked for a room situated away from the lift area as guests tend to gather there whilst waiting for the lift and talk at the top of their voices. It is very noisy. I got a room right next to the lift area? No electricity due to load shedding? Afternoon and Morning. The beds were the worst - soft and sagging on one side, like the springs had collapsed and you can hear them. Terrible beds.

Everything was on point. Cleanliness, spacious and location

Nothing

I liked the shower and the bedrooms set up and the service was awesome

It was the television, the quality was very poor and few options when it comes to channels

The place is clean and spacious

That they don’t offer buffet breakfast please consider that option

Position.

No outside leisure area.

Location

Nothing

The place was super neat as expected, quiet and suiting for families. It was a family trip of 7 and it was awesome for us.

I didnt give it a 10 only because the management staff to me were not friendly. The front desk staff, duty line managers, cleaners, restaurant staff were super amazing and friendly but the main management staff were not.

Spacious

We stayed in an apartment without en-suite Maybe we should have requested

Mooie inrichting van kamer. Zeer proper.

Comfortable beds and clean

No pools

The property was beautiful and I liked the restaurant area more.

The was no gym and pool, still under construction

Phenomenal service, cleanliness and exceptional standards!

No complaints.

The apartments are clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. Absolutely loved them

There was a bit of noise from renovations being done in the floor above. But that is likely a temporary issue, and I would not mark the hotel down on that basis. There is a need to upgrade the TVs to smart TVs.

It is in a wonderful location and very spacious

The loadshedding

Excellent service, great rooms amazing location.

I have no complaints.

Staff is very polite

Small lift

Accessibilité, confort et propreté.

Very spacious and accommodating. Staff are as very friendly and even allowed us to check in early.

A bit of an awkward entrance to the place and tight parking

Staff were friendly and helpful

Great location, very neat and responsive

Nothing

The location is perfectly fine.

The TVs? 3 of them in same apartment but NO DSTV to begin with, also NETFLIX? I did not have carpet in my bedroom, mind you upon my booking I requested but still didn't deliver. The rooms were just cold, weak aircon on the dining.. I expected better ends!

The whole place/apartment was very nice.👌

Nothing

Great value for money and good location , staff was fantastic

No Breakfast Included.

Kitchen not fully stocked with basic essentials. Alot of utensils missing.

Its central location between Sandton City, Rosebank and Melrose Arch. Very clean and comfy. Uber warm staff and it clearly attracts decent guests who have decorum.

We like that its in a great location.

The dishes were not so clean so we couldn't make anything without having to clean it first. The dish sponge was filthy, the bathroom doors couldn't close all the way and one of the beds had what seemed to be not so clean linen. We've been in the 3 bed twice before which was marginally better, but the 2 bed...not the best. The finishes seemed messy and the couch badly stained :(

Location, comfortable bed.

Finishing touches could be better, no places to charge phones in the bedrooms.

Excellent location, close to the main centres with easy access. Very neat, spacious and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant and food.

2 bedroom apartments the best

I couldn't find my charger when I asked about it...I forgot it in the apartment..

Everything. Location, cleanliness respect and responsive staff

Nothing

Excelente custo benefício para ficar em Johanesburgo. Uber muito barato para todas atrações. Quarto confortável e muito atualizado. Excelente escolha.

Café da manhã. É terceirizado, com qualidade ruim.

Spacious rooms, lovely interior design, fantastic restaurant

Air con was faulty, and there was no smart TV in the lounge or bedrooms

Location, staff is amazing and facility is very clean

Load shedding though there are light the stove and Aircon’s are off on backup

Everything to our satisfaction

No hairdryer in room

Location good

Cleanliness, quick assistance

Not all utensils that kitchen needs. No milk, only one day coffee and sugar

Friendly staff, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing.

Most things were either chipped or patched up, like the toilet and the fridge. Some of the cutlery wasn't clean. The food from the restaurant wasn't good. I ordered chips and they were old or looked like left overs. The last straw for me was having to call maintenance for the TV for the 3rd time in 3 days. I asked them to check the WiFi because it wasn't connecting and they told me to send them the speed test. That's when I decided to check out earlier than I had paid for. It wasn't worth the stress, when I came there to rest.

Spacious clean apartment. Reception and staff are kind and attentive Close to all ammenities Coffee is amazing.

The room descriptions are a bit lacking in description. 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom.

We had an absolutely amazing stay here, everything was perfect- very clean, friendly and helpful staff, very quiet and very quick responses on their WhatsApp line for anything we needed in the apartment. Its definitely great value for money, I look forward to staying here again someday

The breakfast was described as a simple English breakfast or an omelette pack at R250pp which didn't seem like value for money so we skipped this and ate out

The actual room we slept in

Nothing

The central location

No shower door in the 1 bed studio apartment floors get wet its crazy. Rooms are cold, no rug or mat to give ut a warm feeling. Kitchen cupboards need a revamp its damp and old. Staff need to clean up better. They rush and don't even tidy up rooms properly. 1 day i thought my room wasn't even cleaned.

Overall great property,

Bedding needed to be changed.

It is conveniently located next to a shopping centre and easy to access.

The cleaning staff did not thoroughly clean the rooms and bathrooms. Just needs a little bit more attention to detail to bring the room to being fresh and clean. The sockets also didn’t work sometimes, might be due to load shedding and alternate power usage.

The location is perfectly centralised, the apartment was spacious and clean. The is everything needed for self catering needs.

There was no drinking water provided.

A localização

Do preço do café da manhã

Our bathroom bin wasn’t emptied so it was somehow like it wasn’t cleaned throughly and the carpet also need a wash. But it was okay the bed sheets was clean which was fair for me coz I needed rest

Perfect location close to restaurants. New restaurant inside was a bonus

The location is good

There was no warm water in my apartment, also it is advertised as a hotel but there are semi permanent residents there

We didnt have breakfast at the premise.

All is good

Reception was friendly and very helpful with some of our queries .

Value for money. Everything about that hotel is amazing.

Guests should be accompanied to their rooms. Don't just tell them "turn right then left." These people are tired and cannot get lost

The property is located perfectly for everything needs for a work or holiday trip! It’s clean and the staff are very friendly

Na

Central to many amenities

It’s central to Sandton Mall , Rosebank mall and Hyde Park malls

Nothing bad

Was an amazing stay but they should work on their TV situation...

They had no Smart TV in my unit and that threw me off.....Smart TVs should be a requirement for all hotels.

The Room, The Cleanliness, The bathroom and supplies, The kitchen... Infact the apartment is superb

Limited TV stations. There was no one to accompany us to the rooms to give us directions. The receptionist did not even show us which way to go but just gave us the keys. I dont fault her, there were other people at her desk. Please have someone on standby to take the guests to their room, assisting with luggage even. That part needs improvement

No hot water.

Everything

Nothing

Amazing location. Easy access to shopping.

Cold showers, room wasn’t ready on arrival. Some staff unhelpful.

It was impeccably clean and really spacious. Our kids loved the space.

The finishes in the rooms were top class but some things seemed unfinished, I assume because its been renovated. Outside had lots of building material yet to be used, like the rolls of turf. Not sure if the hotel can control it, but the neighboring rooms made a lot of noise until early hours of the morning which wasn't fun.

Everything

Nothing

The location, the location, the location! The hotel exceeded my expectations. It is great value for money. And the staff were fantastic!

N/A

The facility, the rooms nice and clean

The TV channels were scrambled

It is neat, well positioned and good value for money. A rare find.

Late even staff when we wanted to extend our stay increased the fare by 70% so we had to go to the Capital for more three days

The apartment is beautifully finished , very very clean and the staff are amazing. The internet is good, the Aircon works and there is hot water 💦🌊 all day long..The place is very secure there is enough parking... The beds are super comfortable... Love it 💕 ...

The location was convenient! The rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly.

The window to our room was facing the main road and it was quite noisy in the morning when trying to sleep i.

Peaceful

Sharing bathroom on two bedroom

Spacious room and friendly front desk

Room close to the elevator can hear everyone talking and passing. Room wasn’t clean from the rig to the floor. Tv in the room didn’t switch on. Using the remote even tried to switch it on by the tv.

The location

The room was not cleaned properly, there was hair in the bathroom and the bed. very disappointed.

It’s safe and clean

For not smoking in the room

Everything was perfect
