Not happy with my stay at Moonbay Villas this time. We have stayed in Moonbay several times for the past years because it was just a walk away to some of the night spots and boardwalk. Service was great before. I am not happy with the customer service this time. The bedsheets and towels look worn out. Water from the shower floods the bathroom floor. When we checked out they were asking about 2 missing face towels that were not in the room in the first place. While we were sitting in the pool area early afternoon my husband ordered coffee the waiter told him they ran out of coffee beans. After a few minutes I questioned the waiter if you do not have coffee beans this early in the afternoon you can not serve coffee tonight or breakfast. The waiter then said they have instant coffee. He did not even bother to ask if we would alternate brewed coffee for the instant coffee. The staff needs more training in customer service. I hope to see improvement when we comeback.

Staffs are very friendly. Restaurant is open until midnight. The only things I didnt like in the room we stayed in is the electric outlet, most sockets are not usable in the bathroom and the vanity. I had to use the only working outlet in the kitchen to plug the hair dryer. Plus the night is alive in this area where you can hear loud music until past midnight. If you are the night owl type. That'll be ok but if you want to go to bed early please bring your earplugs.

Moon bay is absolute place to stay at SBMA! The upkeep of the rooms and the pool which is super clean and fabulous. The restaurant staff and housekeeping and front desk really take care of you and make you feel relaxed like your at home. Great place and I highly recommend Moon Bay to everyone!!

We are very happy with our 2-night stay at the Villas. The suites are very spacious and has amenities that are conveniently provided. The staff were all very polite, helpful and make their guests welcome. We enjoyed the pool, the balcony and the driving range at the back of the Villas. Value for money, well recommended!

It worked out for us perfectly.

Easy check in. Comfortable and clean rooms. Courteous and pleasant staff. The only issue I had was when I switched to one of the suites, and the room was a little too cold. Other than that, my stay was great.

American standard hotel rooms. Staff was great and food is above average. Very relaxing. The location is 👍👍

My stay was most enjoyable. There really isn't much not to like about the Villas, It is top notch in my book.

My stay at the Villas was fantastic. I extended my stay by 3 days as the place was just so pleasant. The room was more than spacious for one person. The room was immaculate. The bathroom was clean with god water pressure and plenty of hot water. The cafe was staff friendly and polite, and the food was outstanding. There are other dining options in the area, but the Cafe Azul's chef (s) are top notch! The hotel staff is courteous and professional, with kudos going out to Mike, who goes out of his way to make guests feel welcome. The pool was clean and pristine, so if you are looking for aquatic fun, you might want to limit it to the pool, as the beach area leaves a lot to be desired. The hotels in the area might want to consider organizing some community volunteer beach cleanup days throughout the year. The only complaint I had was on my last night there, the guy in the room next to mine decided to blast rock music in his room around 12:30 in the morning, and when I asked the evening security guard to deal with it, he instead directed me to the front desk, whom I reported it to (though I should not have had to as the music was quite loud). Unfortunately nothing was done and the music was still blaring when I finally fell asleep around 3:30 am. Things like that shouldn't happen at a hotel, and the perpetrator not face any consequences. Other than that I've nothing but good things to say about the Villa's.

Good balance of budget, location and cleanliness/safety/service. This hotel is in a perfect location for restaurants by the water or my fave Texas Joes.

Excellent place to stay with excellent staff

Such a pleasant atmosphere! Excellent swimming pool very clean! The staff here is superb and attentive! Great free breakfast! Highly recommend this place!

The property overall is wonderful, walkable, quiet and safe. The only the thing we noticed was there are mosquitos or bugs. Still we will come back.

All the staff were exceptional, they went above and beyond. The hotel needs a lot of repair/maintenance though. However, problems encountered in the room were handled/fixed right away.

Family-oriented

People were friendly. Michael security guy was nicest guy we’ve met. Food was great and priced low. Location was right on beach. We could walk to 3 different drug stores and a grocery store within 5-10 minutes. Plus restaurants along beach were all within 3 minutes walk.

Everything is great, only one thing that's a bit off is when we got there the first time there is a smell of strong paint odor, we got used to it within our stay, other than that everything is good o and by the way the breakfast is good 😋

Good location and nice place

Upon check-in, the hotel staff is helpful, carried all our things. Hair dryer is available upon request. The shower area has no curtain or door to prevent the water from coming out of the floor. The bath towels are clean, white and soft to the skin. Bed linens are not that white but smells good(need to be replaced). Pillows are comfortable to use. Overall, the place is huge for couples and well sanitized.

The pool is amazing and the food is great.

Beautiful pool and outside areas. Close to beach walk and bars. Plenty restaurants in walking distance but Food in this property is very good we preferred eating there several times. Breakfast is a menu with few options but also very tasty. Unfortunately the rooms require some updating ,our showerhead was very mouldy and had to be changed, the toilet seat was loose and needed to be fixed. The staff are very polite and helpful. We will be back and hope that some maintenance can be done to make this property as beautiful as it was before the pandemic.

This stay was one of the most memorable vacation stays I’ve had in a long time. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The views and pool were a plus. Truly will recommend staying here.

The staff was great! Check in was super easy and quick. The food at Cafe Azul was always fresh and delicious. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice and clean!

The staff were very attentive to customers' needs. The rooms (we were in 3 rooms) were big and came complete with a ref, electric stove, microwave and water heater. The place was fairly in good condition but a little bit more maintenance will make things better. Food is good. Minor complaint, extra pillows would have been nice. There were only 2 pillows in the bedroom, I am used to having 4 (2 soft and 2 firm) on the bed on most hotels I've checked in. We will go back!

Hotel’s furniture are outdated and need refurbishing. Generally, my stay was comfortable and mostly uneventful.

Food was poor and very limited choice for a 3 star facility. No attention to standard of what served. Breakfast was overcooked and quality of meat was poor

Restaurants, entertainment and points of interest are within walking distance. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. The breakfaat buffet when available was excellent. A La carte selections for breakfast were ok but limited.

What I don’t like is there are big cockroaches in our room and one of the cockroache went inside of my luggage.

The pool area is great! The kiddie pool is only a few inches deep so its perfect for babies

The location of the proprty is near the beach, 4 blocks from Harbour Pointe Mall, near Pier 1, and several good restaurants.

Moon bay villas was a lovely place, very service oriented. Breakfast buffet was good, eggs, rice, meat, fruit, juice coffee

Ants everywhere even after cleaning. However the staffs were being helpful and nice.

Not too crowded. A/c, cable tv and internet are perfectly functioning. Kitchen has microwave, ref, stove and toaster. The A/C in our room suddenly leaked but the staff quickly fixed them. Pool has jaccuzzi and small slide. The heater is our room is unstable, one minute its hot, then water becomes too cold. overall experince is not bad but could defined be better. Good for families.

Hotel was very clean; room was cleaned everyday. Staff was very courteous and polite especially in the restaurant.

Staff are friendly and provide excellent support. The Wi-Fi system here is the worst we’ve experienced in all our travels. Wi-Fi would kick us out within 1-15 minutes while in use. Very, very annoying.

Breakfast food service foods were very poor in quality. Selection of food and breads poor.

We are still here! Supposed to start and end our time in the Olongapo area at Moonbay but because we’re sick we decided to stay put. Front desk staff incredibly helpful in arranging our room, helping with transportation and even sending someone out for pizza for us when we couldn’t reach the restaurant. Lovely pool, whirlpool and poolside eating area.

Staff was friendly. Laundry service is inexpensive. No fitness center. Rooms are non-refundable. My plans changed so they would not honor my request to cancel one night.

This is a very clean hotel, close to a beach and night life. Beautiful pool, excellent for families.

frontdesk should show more courtesy and politeness especially when being asked by the guest

Family friendly hotel, very comfortable and homy-like room. Just one downside though, hotel has no exclusive car parking and we just parked along the road. Other than that, everything's great.

The first night was terrible as we checked in the hotel.the lady at the front desk was already going through the prices and the restrictions without even showing us the place yet.I think she could have waited til the next day to show me the prices and let us rest first as we had a long trip to get there.The next day was better,the rest of the staff were friendly and good service otherwise.The pictures online showed a stove where we can cook but there were no pots and pans available in the room.I even asked if we can rent pots/pans but they don’t have any😞.I guess the stove was just for a show.

It’s okay kind of pricy for the condition of the Villa, I booked this in purpose of cooking one meal however the kitchen has no kitchenware nothing at all It is unless no pots and pans needs lights on the hallway at the kitchen, however the pool is clean and the staff are wonderful! Over all it’s okay.

Clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel was well located and was close to plenty of restaurants and shops.

Everything was perfect. Eventhough there was no room available that I reserved, we were upgraded to a better one. I enjoyed Olongapo and would highly recommend Moomabay Marina.

The place is superbly located beside the beach. The rustic layout of the resort gives it a charm of a seaside resort.

My nephew and his wife was extremely satisfied with their stay at this hotel. They enjoyed their breakfast. It’s a nice hotel close by the waterpark. My sister and her family enjoyed their time at the Moonbay Marina waterpark.

I made a reservation for 3 rooms to throw a surprise birthday treat for my sister-in-law. I had the worst experience w/ the front desk especially their operations manager who sounds angelic over the phone but doesn't provide satisfaction to the customer. The facility refused to provide the WIFI password to confirmed guests not until they are checked-in. However, when I called them, they provide the password to even walk-ins. They asked my guests for a deposit of 4 thousand pesos even it was not disclosed on the receipts. The celebrant just received her biggest "surprise" for the day. The rooms and amenities were great. It is the staff especially the operations manager made it a nightmare stay for the guest.

My husband and I definitely love the service and all the staff are really friendly. They attended all my request . The resorts are really comfortable for my 1 week stay.

I am very with my stay at this hotel. Everything is always clean and tidy, being this is my second time after two years. I would recommed it to anyone.

This hotel is clean , staffs were accommodating and respectful, foods for breakfast was good . Close to the beach , restaurants and shopping stores . I will give this a thumbs up. Highly recommended to friends and families .

Hotel room also has kitchen with stove and sink, living room with sofa, dining table and a private balcony/patio with table and chairs. Cooking and dining utensils, iron and ironing board are available upon request. Jacuzzi is turned on by lifeguard on duty.

Nice property but the rooms were not maintained as well as they could be. Not real clean. Lots of soiled areas and built up soap scum in the shower dish.

The only negatives were the room was too cold a/c would not adjust, so we cut one off and that helped. Also, it was hard to find the check-in desk. But, we finally did and all was well. We wanted the have rest and relaxation and this is the perfect place for that.

I like this hotel one room I booked had a kitchenette so I bought ingredients to make spaghetti but there is no cooking utensils supplied. They gathered up some things for me to cook with. The lifeguard at the pool needs to relax a bit though

pros: the rooms are spacious, breakfast is good, reception staff is friendly, good location as it's close to restaurants and supermarket cons: the rooms are not cleaned properly; there's no quality check on the cleaning.

Stayed for one night and it was generally alright. Finding the front desk was quite a challenge if yog are not familiar with the place as I didn’t see signs pointing to it. The staff were nice though, had no difficulties checking in and out. They even sell discounted tickets for Moonbay Marina Waterpark (great deal if I may say, you just have to ask as it was not proactively offered). Room I reserved was the La Estrella but got upgraded to the room with a kitchenette due to unavailability (thank you!). The room was very spacious and felt cozy. Facilities such as the appliances, chairs, tub etc. were not in the most pristine conditions but were functional and served their purposes. Had dinner at their restaurant. I remember the menu had a lot of Filipino dishes. Ordered sinigang na hipon, chopsuey, and spring rolls. Amount was more than enough for us 3 but I found the chopsuey and rolls a bit too salty. Breakfast buffet, on the other hand, tasted better. Buffet had mushroom soup, garlic rice, longganisa, scrambled eggs, pasta, bread, fresh fruits etc. Only concern is there were a lot of pesky flies in the poolside dining area (even the e-fans couldn’t shoo the flies). Pool was nice. It was up to 5” and a kids section up to 2” and a jacuzzi area. There was also a playground area with swing and slide. There is also a nearby fountain area, where you can see Subic Bay (I think), and park benches. Would most probably consider staying here again in the future.

Rooms are large with a separate sofa/dining table area. Comfy bed and sheets. Nice balcony to enjoy coffee in the morning. Pool area and restoraunt are very nice and relaxing. Good breakfast. Had dinner one night at the restoraunt, it was delicious and large portions, Should've just ordered one dish and shared. Good location to get to the area attractions. Great place to stay, if I ever return to Subic Bay I will definitely choose Moonbay Marina again.

The hotel is at a nice quite spot and has a beautiful pool with Jacuzzi. The staff are very warm and treated me with great respect. It is very friendly and accommodating hotel with many amenities, and a good breakfast.

Love the location, pool, its design. Complete privacy right on the water. Good place to relax and feel away from the hustle.

Was a very nice hotel, clean and friendly. Had supper there and food was good. Breakfast buffet was not the best. Pillows on the bed are to thin so you will need to double up. Would stay again.

Was very glad that there is a life guard in duty. It is very seldom to see that in a hotel.

The hotel is very clean, well staffed and close to the bay, shopping, night entertainment and good restaurants. The staff is very helpful and resourceful. I would definitely stay here again.

Place is a villa so don't expect the usual Hotel amenities.
