Sea Whisper Guest House

We stayed for one night and would have been very happy to stay longer. We were upgraded (to a sea view) which we really appreciated. The owners are helpful and friendly (as are the staff) and very much 'hands on'. The room was spacious, very clean, fitted out to a very high standard, and very well maintained. Similarly, the breakfast was exceptionally good. The bed was the most comfortable of our six weeks of travel in South Africa. It was easy to find and the secure parking and compound made us feel very safe.

Nothing in real terms other than we stayed in September (when it was cold, wet and miserable) and coming from an equitorial country found the room a bit chilly, even with the heaters on. If I imagine the room, balcony and garden in the summer sunshine, it would take them to another level.

My excellent room (Deluxe King Suite) was up a short flight of stairs, at the front of the building, with nice stone-tiled floor and a balcony with ocean view. The breakfast was great, the staff super friendly. Parking behind a gate is available, which I did not take advantage of because the neighbourhood seemed very safe.

I think I'd move the sofa forward a bit for a more natural layout. As far as I could tell the guesthouse is missing a nice indoor common area, but then the room was so nice you didn't want to be somewhere else anyway.

Very good (and large!) breakfast. Staff was very friendly and the manager was especially helpful and welcoming. Loved the balcony with the view to the beach. The lounge area was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Large bathroom with a long vanity.

No sink in the kitchenette area was inconvenient. There was no cooktop but that was not a problem for us but might be for others.

Welcome from the host. Great bed. Helpful to have a fridge & microwave when you’re touring. Super sea view. Excellent breakfast and went out of their way to cater for my dietary needs.

Stunning accomodation in a safe and picturesque area.

Strangely there are no pavements to walk on locally. Everything is grassed.

Bell'appartamento monolocale in una guest house con più soluzioni. Dotato di tutto, arredato molto bene, grandissimo bagno con doccia e grande vasca, con wc separato. Bellissima terrazza privata vista mare con barbecue e molto spazio. Tutto estremamente pulito. Ottima colazione servita da 2 perone squisite. Host gentile e accogliente.

The room was big and very nice and functional furnished. Everything vas very nice and beautifull. The view is exceptional.and the sea is sounding calm and quiet.If you get very close to sea you cant sleap unless you like to sleep in a sound that is similar to a flight cabin. This is the perfect distance to the sea. The swimming pool area and breakfast area is very nice. We have been many times on the garden route and this is in our top 3 stay.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Das Frühstück für einen kleinen Aufpreis ist sehr gut. Innocent, der Hausmanager wird allen Wünschen mit seiner herzlichen warmen Art gerecht. Schnell ist man im Ort, der zwar nicht besonders reizend wirkt, dafür aber sehr relaxed und authentisch. Toller Tip von Michele, der herzlichen Landlady, war zum Beispiel das Resturant NINA'S! Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist herrlich!

Etwas kurios ist die Kitchenette: es gibt keinen Herd und keine Spüle, aber Pfannen und Töpfe!

房子位置不错，房间安全系数也很高，正门和阳台都有铁门，所以钥匙也实在多，我们的房间位于副楼的一楼，要经过一个小花园，里面养了几只陆龟，挺可爱的。离海滩稍微有点距离，使得这次住宿很符合它的名字sea whisper ，能隐隐约约听到一些海浪声，如果想住这里，请务必提前在app上给房东留言要二楼的房间，也许可以看到一些海景。房东太太人很好，会很热心地回答问题，推荐她认为好吃的餐厅给你。

Wir hatten die Africa Whisper Suite, als uns das Zimmer geöffnet wurde, waren wir beeindruckt, was für ein tolles Zimmer, allein der Badezimmerbereich war größer, wie manche Zimmer, welche wir in der Vergangenheit schon gebucht hatten... Auch die Ausstattung und Dekoration war passend und sehr schön. Wir haben gute Tipps für das Abendessen bekommen. Leider konnten wir den Pool nicht nützen, da wir zu den Öffnungszeiten unterwegs waren, aber dieser sah optisch schon gut aus....

Der "gesicherte" Parkplatz ist etwas klein und man musste etwas "kurbeln", aber letztendlich hat es gepasst. Das Frühstück war zwar nicht schlecht, aber auch keine Offenbarung - alles einzeln in Plastik verpackt....

Innocent was really such a great guy and made us feel right at home. Our room was amazing and spacious with great amenities. The breakfast was great and on time. We will definitely be coming back for a longer stay!

I liked everything from the moment I was greeted with a big smile from Innocent ! The suite was beautifully furnished and equipped and the view of the ocean was an added bonus. I liked the good quality filter coffee and rusks that were topped up on a daily basis 😄

The accomodation is absolutely gorgeous with beautiful views. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, from the Manager to the staff. The Manager was so kind and helpful when we arrived, helped us with our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a comfortable one.

I loved the room. I have been coming to Sea Whisper for a while now and everything just seems to get better with each stay. The room is beautifully furnished and fitted. The bedding is luxurious; the pillows plump, the blankets ultra-soft and cosy and the electric blankets and heater keep the room warm and toasty. Extra touches such as chocolates, filter coffee and rusks every morning completes a perfect stay. The area is also quiet so great for a sleep-in holiday morning. It is truly the best guesthouse is JBay.

Absolutely loved every minute of my stay. It was at the point of I didn't even want to leave the room at all.

Sea Whisper is very central located. The guest house is secure and as a solo female traveler it was comforting. The breakfast was really great. The owners and the staff was very friendly and always available.

Innocent was incredibly helpful and friendly, and so professional. The room itself was really comfortable and incredibly spacious. Mine overlooked the ocean and it was tranquil and exactly what I needed. Everything you need is there; fresh towels, a big comfortable bed, small kitchenette suitable for short-term accommodation, braai set up on the verandah, comfortable furnishings, a big bath and shower, and two basins, etc. There is great attention to detail. What I appreciated was the on-site parking. It was a pleasure to stay here, and I highly recommend this place.
