Teddy Bear Bed & Breakfast

We had a very comfortable stay here. The host was very kind. The room was adequate, comfortable bed. Shared bathroom was clean. Breakfast was delicious and filling.

Good: Breackfast, clean, ample parking, big gardern space. Not good: shared bath & shower room

Yes

Great little Bed and Breakfast just minutes from Bancroft. The room was large and the bathrooms were always very clean. The breakfast was great! I would come back here again, Karin is a great host.

Teddy Bear Bed & Breakfast is a lovely place to stay! The hosts are warm and welcoming, the rooms are spotless and cozy, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with our 3-year-old. Very clean. Everything you need. Lovely breakfast.

Wonderful host and accommodation with delicious, full, hot breakfast and melt in your mouth croissants with home made jam. Love the location and the availability of a canoe to use on the beautiful, small lake the property is on.

Karin was just wonderful. Very friendly and great breakfast!

Beautiful place and delicious breakfast! Will stay again.

Nice comfortable beds, housecoats in the closet, lovely home cooked breakfast. I would highly recommend Karin’s & Luna (dog) Teddy Bear B&B. Would definitely book again!

Property is very close to Bancroft. Property is lovely with spacious yard and lake area. Lovely sunset. Home is lovely, clean and spacious. Bedroom is clean and nicely decorated. Very comfortable. BBC bathroom is very clean and spacious with lots of linens. Host Karen is lovely, friendly and ensures a lovely stay.

It was a pleasure to find this quiet escape and being warmly greeted by Karen and Luna! Karens presence was felt through her kindness working with us through unexpected expedia errors, taking our breakfast orders and especially through the cleanliness of all spaces on the property. Luna is a great furry friend to run to if she is around. We are grateful to have other wonderful guest sharing this space and enjoying the NHL playoffs in the living room. What i cherish most about Karen and the other great people she happily welcomes in was their genuine concern and loved show towards my attire during our night walk. I am truly blessed. If you are looking for a great space, a wonderful host, an space that leaves you rested and an opportunity to share time with others. Id definitely consider checking out Teddy Bear bed and breakfast.

Only good things to say! Clean, cosy, warm and welcoming. Exelent breakfast :)

Great place to stay with an excellent breakfast.

Loved this property and the host!

Karen has all the bases covered, well organized, comfy bed, clean fresh linens, bath robes in the closet. And the breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Thanks Karen, Hope to be travelling your way again. Tor and Shelley

Karin who has become a friend, is awesome. Been there many times.

Host was friendly snd helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Bed was so comfy.

The friendly host and the amazing breakfast will make you feel at home. The place is very clean and comfortable. I would defiantly recommend this bed & breakfast to anyone.

Great clean and cozy place. Excellent breakfast!

This is a lovely B&B on a lake with canoes for guests to use and a nice breakfast. Lovely dog greeter and host as well.

The place is so comfortable, good option for food, clean place.

The hostess is engaging and competent. I enjoyed the stay immensely.

Excellent breakfast by host but room could be bigger for 4 people in a room. Recommend to book 2 separate rooms for 4. Blankets and sheets had stain. Bathroom very cleaned despite being shared with other guests.

The rooms are so lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Super friendly hostess. Would definitely recommend and return to stay again and again.

Comfortable bed, spotless room, great breakfast!

Lovely evening at Teddybear B&B with lovely hosts and breakfast service. Thanks so much.

Super clean facilities, courteous host and delicious breakfast.

This stay was everything the previous reviews said it was. Which is good to know when booking. Bed was comfy, sheets soft. Breakfast was delicious and nutritious.....made to order. Thank you to our hostess

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The tranquility and access to the canoe for a paddle on the lake was just what we needed at the end of a long driving day.

Karin and Luna were wonderful hosts. Beautiful property, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Will definitely be back.

The whole place was extremely clean and the yard beautifully maintained. Breakfast was excellent (restaurant grade). The host and her dog were welcoming and generous. We already booked our next stay!

Teddy Bear is a spacious property on the lake. Gardens are beautiful and good access to swimming is close by. The home is clean and spacious and uncluttered. The hostess is kind, attentive and flexible. She anticipates your needs and is ready to help. The beds are comfortable. There are no artificial smells in the home. I highly recommend staying here.

A welcoming, clean and comfortable stay. Wonderfully hospitable and beautiful grounds!

Very friendly host. Very good breakfast. Quiet room. Possible to go boot ride. You can swim on the lake. Very beautiful place for holiday. Recomend.

Small sand beach just around the corner. Loved the access to the main room after kid bedtime and the incredible made to order breakfast

Beautiful lake and property. Comfortable clean room. The hostess is great! Nice breakfast with eggs and sausage.

A friend place where you can rest your head, enjoy a nice breakfast, and have a welcoming chat. The property was immaculately well kept, the beds were very comfortable, and breakfast was homely. Overall Teddy Bear was an top choice for our stay, we were very pleased!

Very clean, sweet and lovely place!

The owner was lovely, the space was beautiful, very pretty bench and waterfront dock to sit on not far from town either. Breakfast was amazing would highly recommend this B and B

Clean, plenty of towels, great breakfast, good price, overall a great place to stay.

Exceptionally clean, delicious meal, beautiful setting, beds very comfortable, friendly hospitality. Karen, got up early to make fresh coffee for me at 0600. Second time I've stayed there, will continue as many times as we are in the area.

Karen was so kind, as is Luna, her gentle and courteous dog. I received some bad news just before getting here and was upset, she was so gracious and offered to make me a cup of tea. Thank you Karen and Luna.

Great time! Karen was so helpful and kind!

What a great homemade breakfast

So sorry we couldn't stay here . The owners were really nice about it. They were having trouble I believe it was with the plumbing or the electricity and wasn't aloud to have anyone until it was fixed. It was to take a couple of days so they arranged a place for us in Bancroft.

Nice clean room with a good bed. Well maintained property and friendly welcome.

Amazing breakfast and very clean and comfortable. Wonderful host and beautiful dog. Forgot my coat and was shipped to me. Beautiful scenery.

It's a super quaint place, tranquil area, really nice, very clean, great service & breakfast from the owner. Super friendly, we felt like home or as though we were visiting a friends home. Really enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again & recommend to others! Great choice for the area!!

What a lovely stay! We were welcomed with warmth, slept in comfort, and were fed very well in the morning. We can't wait to go back. Cute Luna was a bonus!

Had a great time

We loved our welcome from Karen and Luna! Comfortable, clean room. Beautiful property with lake view.

This is one of the most comfortable B&B(s) I have ever experienced! It felt like a huge bear hug from beginning to end. The owner Karin and her beautiful dog Luna were so friendly and welcoming the entire time. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious; therefore no need for lunch. I highly recommend this "Teddy Bear B&B"! ~ LJ

Clean and tidy accommodations. Our host Karen was friendly and prepared a nice breakfast. Would stay again if we visit the area again in the future.

Wonderful host, accommodating and welcoming. Delicious cooked breakfast as well as fruit, yoghurt and freshly baked pastry. Yum! Thank you.

This is a gorgeous property. The host, Karin, is friendly and her dog Luna is beautiful and very sweet. The room was pristine, beds comfortable and you can have just about anything you want for breakfast. This is a beautiful gem and my Mother and I highly recommend it. We loved it!

We had a wonderful time at teddy bear B&B. The bed and room were clean and tidy with a wonderful bathroom with a great shower. The homeowner was very congenial and gracious and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with great choices and very substantial. We highly recommend this place and will most definitely return again.

A very clean and quiet establishment, with very friendly staff!

Great stay

Very friendly host and cozy house with a theme.

Our stay was great! The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast amazing!!

The room was small but very cozy and well decorated. We enjoyed the coversations with Karin. The breakfast was great.

Such a surprisingly wonderful stay. Host is amazing!

Felt very homey

Excellent host, clean, nice property, basic room, excellent breakfast. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Best recommendation I can give is that I would stay there again in a heart beat.

A great experience. Accommodations were homey and very clean. Owner, Karen was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, while still respecting our privacy. We enjoyed her large well maintained beautiful property, that offered a private dock on a small and quiet lake which we relaxed on to watch the sun go down, had we arrived earlier we would of taken advantage of her boats. Comfortable beds, thick luxurious towels, etc. She had thought of everything. I have saved the best for last. Karen asked what time we wanted breakfast the night before. In the morning we were greeted with the the smell of freshly baked croissants, homemade jelly, coffee and a fresh fruit salad. While we feasted on the fruit and such, she prepared bacon and eggs to our specifications. It was all very delicious. This was my first experience at a BNB, and I was very reluctant, and was expecting to hate it. To my surprise I enjoyed the entire experience. Karen definitely enjoys meeting new people and strives, and succeeds to offer the best. We highly recommend The Teddy Bear Bed and Breakfast, we wish Karen all the best and we hope to return in the future. Thanks for your hospitality. Paul and Elizabeth

We were well received. Everything was super clean. It was a very peaceful environment and the breakfast was amazing

Wonderful place. Fantastic breakfast, service, amenities, helpfulness.

We loved staying at the Teddy Bear Bed and Breakfast...Karen and Luna were very welcoming! The room was exactly as promised, very clean and comfortable. A lovely property and a host who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay! We will definitely be back!

Great for an overnight stay.

I liked its clise proximity to the city of Nancroft, and the big yard that made me feel relaxed. Nothing to dislike really.

The hostes greeted us as we arrived

Karen is a very accommodating host. Room was very comfortable with lots of electrical outlets with built in USB ports for charging items . We don't normally stay at a bed and breakfast so adjusting to a shared bathroom requires thought and consideration. There were other guests staying, which unless you had seen them, you never would have known they were here. Karen asked what time we wanted breakfast since with COVID she was staggering them to keep people safe. Very considerate in my opinion due to the extra work involved.

Highly recommend, very clean, attention to detail, beautiful breakfast each morning and we love Karen and Luna!!

We like everything about this property -it’s a beautiful location, the rooms are very comfortable and clean and Karin’s hospitality is well appreciated. Also love that it’s pet friendly! The breakfast was delicious too!

The host was very cordial and she kept the place super clean. Easy to talk to and very accomodating. Would recommend this place for cleanliness and value. Hot breakfast was delicious. Hope to return someday.

Everything was great…Karen was extremely helpful in telling us places to visit and giving us directions. We would not have find the long Egan chute without her help. Our room was very clean and Karen made us a much needed coffee pot on our arrival 😍 Breakfast was wonderful and yum except that pancakes were little too thick to finish

We can't say enough about the delicious breakfast every morning. Fresh fruit salad, croissant and hot breakfast every morning. Karen our host was also very helpful to register for a day pass at the Algonquin Park. Very nice lake on the side of the property. Every night, we couldn't help but spend a few minutes stargazing before entering the B&B as the cloud-free sky was dark enough to show the milky way.

We love the full cooked breakfast. We would prefer not to have shared a bathroom

We have stayed in many B&B’s over the years in many countries. We were so impressed with Karen and her home. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Karen was the perfect host. The home was beautiful. The location, on the water, is so lovely. The room was very clean. The bed was so comfortable that we had no problem sleeping peacefully all night. The cooked to order breakfast was the perfect way to start our day. We will certainly stay here any time we visit this area. So much better than a motel. Oh, and watching the sunset over the lake followed by the gathering around the fire pit was the icing on the cake. OH...and Loona!

Place was very comfortable, good breakfast provided and friendly host

We could only stay one night, but we really enjoyed it at the Teddy Bear Bed & Breakfast. It's a charming B&B with character, everything was clean and our breakfast was fabulous! Karin is a great host and we'll stay there again when traveling to Bancroft.

Surprised there was no TV in the room. Clock radio was non functional so no music..no tv..no morning alarm!

On the water, could fish from the dock or use one of their canoes.

We had a short but very relaxing stay. Karin was friendly and helpful. Karin’s delicious Breakfast filled us up. The room was very comfortable. Lots of benches to enjoy the view of the lake.
