The facilities were remarkable but what made BE stand out was their people. They know how to make guests feel welcome.

Zeer veiendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. Uitgebreid, lekker ontbijtbuffet. Dagelijks roomservice en regelmatig een kleine attentie. Al bij al enorm tevreden en voor herhaling vatbaar. Prijs/kwaliteit uitstekend!!!

Als ik toch iets moet opmerken dan geen ''gewone'' snacks te krijgen.

Food Hall offered an exceptional breakfast buffet with very attentive service. Seaside grounds were beautiful & private, with nice pools & decent snorkeling onsite. Alona Beach is a quick (free) shuttle ride away. Good gym + restaurants/bars onsite. Staff brought tasty Goodnight dessert to room nightly.

Some renovation ongoing so noise during the day. Onsite laundry prices too high, better off using local services at Alona that will pick up & deliver if needed.

facilities… lots of things to do for kids. They give ice candies in the afternoon by the pool area. They also give you sweet treats at night.

The best place I stayed in the Philippines. The staff was super professional, friendly and always for you. Thank you. The facilities amazing, view, comfort, away from Alona beach gives you quiet sleep and fresh air. I love the fact that the resort provides free transport to and from Alona beach, but even if they didn't, Grab or tuktuk will bring you to the town in minutes for small money.

There was some renovation, but the noise was moderate and didn't disturb our stay.

Location, facilities and staff were perfect. Great for any style of holiday and my kids loved it.

I thought the drinks prices were excessive. A beer here is more expensive than the Shangri-La in Manila and three times what you pay at a beachfront bar/restaurant at Alona. I accept that nice hotels will charge more but I think this is unfair and perhaps why even in Holy Week, the bars were near empty.

I really loved this resort , it's very amazing and the staff is super helpful. The breakfast is a nice buffet with various choices. I will come back for sure

The entire resort was beautiful, the grounds were kept well. Rooms were spacious and modern and very comfortable so we had a fabulous stay ( 4 nights, 3 days) The hotel is fairly close to Alona Beach which has a lot of restaurants and shopping for souveneirs, as well as many spas and massage areas. We liked that the hotel had a shuttle to and from the main areas. There's also a lot of tuk tuk to choose from as transport mode which cost about 100 pesos to and from hotel per ride We also enjoyed watching the sunset at Lune Bar- staff there were very nice

There were construction during our stay- supposed to be from 9am to 6pm, but they actually started at 8am Not so much as 'dislike' but an opportunity for improvement: the breakfast buffet, though plentiful and loads to choose from needs to ensure the 'hot breakfast' should be hot or at least lukewarm, but was actually cold and was quite greasy The staff needs to follow up re enquiries about tours and not promise to call back, then not do it

The staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. The resort is peaceful, clean and well maintained. We would definitely go back

We found a cockroach in our room. Not many options on the restaurant menu. The shuttle timetable to Alona Beach is very limited. Some procedures, like ordering external food are bureaucratic. We had difficulty getting drinking water. The room's conditions are very different from the pictures, worse than the pictures.

La struttura è indubbiamente molto bella e grande. Offre diversi servizi. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la piscina e la sala giochi (con biliardo, ping pong, scacchi), ma i servizi erano davvero tanti. È presente perfino una sala karaoke! Ci sono inoltre diverse soluzioni per pranzo e cena, e abbiamo in particolare adorato il Monkey Bar davanti alla spiaggia. Lo staff è sempre molto disponibile e gentile, in perfetto stile filippino! La colazione al mattino davvero fantastica! Una varietà di tutto e di più, dal cibo locale alle proposte internazionali. Ultima nota di apprezzamento: divise molto belle! 😊

Non abbiamo mai utilizzato la spiaggia dell'hotel ed in effetti la struttura non ne incentiva molto l'utilizzo, facendo immediatamente firmare un waiver per declinare ogni responsabilità. In generale, l'offerta non includeva nulla per i nostri due bambini (a partire dal corredo di asciugamani). La cosa un po' fastidiosa è stata dover pagare ogni volta la colazione dei nostri figli a parte, perché non inclusa nel prezzo.

Gorgeous hotel/ resort. From the staff to the beautiful pools, restaurants, amazing breakfast and the perfectly kept grounds, everything was just right. My room, one of the Oceania Suites faced the ocean with a lovely view, two balconies, a separate living room, small kitchenette, a gigantic bathroom and closet/ dressing room and a spacious bedroom. The room was immaculately serviced every day and each evening at 7pm I was delivered a good night sweet, it was just such a nice touch. The level of service, the facilities, staff and what you get for the price is at a level of a Four Seasons or Ritz Carleton you would find in Hawaii or St. Thomas at $1,000USD nighty. That would be for the Oceania Suite, most of the resort is traditional hotel rooms so I can't speak to the rooms but the rest of the resort and pools are great. There are also villas that looked beautiful and the rates were very reasonable.

One thing to consider is that the BE Grand is not directly on a beach but most of Alona is not on a beach, it is on a sea wall. The point of coming here is to snorkel and Scuba dive and those are amazing. You are also a bit of a walk from the action of Alona Beach if you are looking for action. You can take a tricycle taxi for 200PHP into Alona Beach or you can walk an easy 20 minutes to the main area or Alona which I did easily but walking back after dark is....dark! Bring a flashlight or just get a tricycle taxi, it isn't dangerous it is just quite dark, I wish I had brought a LED headlamp but my room did have a flashlight that I did use. This, in itself isn't a negative but if you are looking to be in the middle of party time you might want to look at one of the smaller hotels on the beach walk in Alona. But if you want to sleep and have a sprawling resort with beautiful grounds, this is the place.

Smell of damp in the room, bed sheets felt damp from the AC every day, restaurants/bars had loads of unavailable items, kettle didn’t work in the room, toilet cistern was a bit dodgy as well.

We like the surroundings specifically the graden well maintained and mowed. The Monkey Tale was the best part of the resort. Food wise superb, Michelin Star quality.

am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at your resort in Panglao. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below what we expected and what should reasonably be provided to guests staying at a resort of your standard. Prior to arrival, we requested an early check-in through Booking.com, which was declined. We understood this policy. However, when we arrived at 2:00 PM, we still had to wait nearly two and a half hours before our room was ready, despite check-in officially being at 3:00 PM. While waiting, we went to the food hall to have lunch, but the service was extremely slow and poorly organized. Our kinilaw took almost one hour to be served. Although the staff were polite, the service felt uncoordinated and disorganized, suggesting a lack of proper training and management in the dining area. When we finally entered the room, we were disappointed by the cleanliness. The room was not properly cleaned, with visible dust and cobwebs in the bathroom. We assumed housekeeping would address this, but even after several days the cobwebs (below the toilet door) remained, which is unacceptable for guest accommodations. The most disruptive issue during our stay was the ongoing renovation work. Beginning on our second day at approximately 7:00 AM, loud drilling and hammering started and continued repeatedly over the following days. We came to Panglao specifically to relax and unwind, yet we were constantly disturbed by construction noise early in the morning. By the fourth day it was still ongoing. Only after we complained to reception did we request that the renovation work begin later, around 9:00 AM. For a stay lasting nine days, this level of disturbance significantly affected the quality of our vacation. Additionally, we observed a mouse running in the garden area between the pool and the karaoke room, which raises serious concerns about hygiene and property maintenance.

The staff were all super friendly and knew our baby by name. They were happy to help us warm up baby food and sterilise baby bottles. The pool was great and our daughter had so much fun in the play room. We used the shuttle service every day during our 7 day stay. Thank you front of house Rey and Darcy and chef Jewel for taking care of us.

The location was great and the facilities where amazing. My kids really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet was good too.

Friendly staff, both at front desk as well as main restaurant. Great main pool, with lifeguards on duty. Regular shuttle bus to and from towns main tourist area. Food Hall restaurant was great, with a varying breakfast menu. Staff were lovely and made us welcome every day.

Monkey Bar Restaurant was a disappointment and not recommended. Staff inattentive, missing parts of the order and had to be reminded a number of times to bring the drinks requested. Very limited menu options. The worst burger ever, small and tasted terrible, fries more like potato chips. Unfortunately we selected this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Menus needs an overhaul and adult staff with a capable manager to take charge.

Großes Zimmer mit angenehm großen Bad (incl. Badewanne und separate Duschkabine). 2 große gute Queensize-Betten im Deluxe-Zimmer. Überaus freundliches, bemühtes und auch kulantes Personal. Große Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet, allerdings eindeutig asiatisch dominiert, da im Hotel viele Koreaner und Chinesen übernachten. Gutes Hotelrestaurant "The Food Hall" mit noch akzeptablen Preisen. Insgesamt sehr große Anlage, in der auch ganze Häuser zu mieten sind. Schöner großer Pool, alles sehr gepflegt. Zugang zum Meer über Treppen möglich, kein natürlicher Sandstrand. Meeresboden fällt flach ab, größere Flächen mit Seegras bewachsen.

Die vorgefundenen Handtücher waren suboptimal, je ein kleines, etwa 25x25 cm und ein großes schweres Duschhandtuch. Kein Bodentuch für die nassen Füße, wenn man aus der Duschkabine tritt. Die beim Frühstücksbuffet angebotenen Säfte sind allenfalls 3 Sterne-Niveau. Pro Person und Nacht sind 2500 Pesos Kaution zu hinterlegen.

Urejanje sob, osebje odnese brisače, katere niso nastavljene za zamenjavo in ne da novih, porabljeno kavo zamenja z mlekom v prahu, ne da novega wc papirja. Cene pijače in hrane nesorazmerno visoke glede na ceno nočitve v hotelu.

Rauhallinen ja mukava hotelli kävelymatkan päässä palveluista.

Toistuvasti aamiaisella sanottiin tavallisen teen olevan loppu. Minun piti hakea huoneesta teepussit erikseen, jotta sain juoda teetä aamiaisella.

Das Frühstück ist auf asiatische Gäste ausgerichtet. Es gibt nur Weißbrot, viele warme Gerichte, keinen vernünftigen Kaffee, kein vernünftiges Müsli. Für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie enttäuschend. Der "Strand" ist kein Strand, sondern nur Felsen und man kommt sehr schlecht ins Wasser. Was wie ein Strand aussieht sind künstliche Sandflächen oberhalb von Felsen.

Es gibt neben dem Hauptrestaurant, wo auch das Frühstück serviert wird drei weitere Restaurants. Diese sind untervermietet und sehr schwach. In der Monkey Bar gibt es keinen Kaffee (Maschine defekt), im "Bridge Cafè" gibt es ein schmales Angebot, von dem nicht mal alles verfügbar ist. Die "Moon Bar" (Rooftop) war während des Chinese New Year (!!) geschlossen. Danach weitere drei Tage zu.

Buffet breakfast was fantastic.

Уборка номера была отвратительной, в первую ночь, чтобы не мешать своей любимой я решил посмотреть фильм на балконе, предварительно постелив полотенце. Оказалось, что пол там скорее всего вообще не моют. 3 дня я добивался, чтобы балкон был отмыт, но в итоге это сделали очень формально, даже ваучер с интернетом продолжил лежать в углу, как будто уборки и не было. Мы попали в дожди и на завтраках все столы были просто пустые, никто не обновлял блюда, мне приходилось просить персонал, чтобы они принесли новую еду. Финальная ночь была выше всех похвал, в час ночи сверху начались доноситься голоса, я ждал и думал это гости пришли спать, когда я понял, что шум не прекращается, мне пришлось поднять этажом выше, оказалось это уборка номер в час ночи, с громким закрыванием дверей, шутками персонала между собой. ПРОСТО УЖАС! Финально, мне еще постарались предъявить, что полотенце, которое я постелил на пол балкона грязное. В целом отель не плохой, но учитывая его цену я ожидал более правильного подхода. Точно не вернусь туда.

Poco cuidado por el mar. Las personas sacan estrellas de mar como recuerdo. Son seres vivos. Nadie les dice nada. Por otro lado. Llegamos a las 11 am. Habíamos contratado el servicio de shuttle del hotel. Hasta las 15 hs que era el horario de check in no nos dieron la habitación. Ni un minuto antes. Mi hijo menor se golpeó la cabeza con el piso con un sillon peligroso que tienen y tampoco tuvieron la amabilidad de permitirnos acomodar antes.

Персонал на ресепшн очень пытается помочь. Пляжная зона интересная, зона бассейнов.

А вот в ресторане заказали заранее (была годовщина). Из меню выбрали блюда и попросили к определенному времени приготовить. Пришли в ресторане НИЧЕГО не готово. Хотя нам сказали, что стол украсят цветами и поставят блюда. С нами был ребенок 1,5 года. Мы ждали еду 1,5 часа. Попросили хотя бы ребенку принести еду. Ответ НЕТ. Ужасное отношение. Больше мы в этот ресторан не пошли.

Территория отеля очень большая и ухоженная. Хорошо охраняется, что в условиях Филлипин немаловажно. Несколько спусков к морю. На пляже есть как лежаки, так и затененные укрытия. Пляжные полотенца выдаются тут же, из номера носить не надо. Есть несколько бассейнов с пресной водой, но это скорее, для детей. Персонал подготовлен на "5". Очень хорошие завтраки. Ужины хорошие, но не "Мишеленовские" по оформлению.

Отель расположен букально в нескольких шагах от Алона Бич, где находятся все дайвинг-центры (куда я и ехал), но попасть туда можно только кружным путем, вызвав Тук-Тук на ресепшене. От дайверского пляжа отель отгорожен сплошным забором. Было бы неплохо организовать там пеший проход (хотя бы в утренние и дневные часы), тем более, что будка секьюрити находится в двух шагах.

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir haben uns aufgrund der ansprechenden Werbeanzeigen und der hohen Erwartungen für das BE Grand Hotel Panglao entschieden. Leider entsprach unser Aufenthalt insgesamt nicht dem Eindruck, der im Vorfeld vermittelt wurde. Besonders negativ aufgefallen ist uns die Sauberkeit. Bereits in der ersten Nacht mussten wir unser Zimmer wechseln, da wir unerwünschte kleine Besucher in unserem Bett hatten. Es handelte sich zwar nicht um Bettwanzen, dennoch war die Situation sehr unangenehm und hat unser Sicherheits- und Wohlgefühl deutlich beeinträchtigt. Ein solcher Vorfall sollte in einem Hotel dieser Kategorie nicht passieren. Das Personal reagierte zwar korrekt und ermöglichte uns einen Zimmerwechsel, dennoch blieb ein ungutes Gefühl zurück, das unseren Aufenthalt nachhaltig beeinflusst hat. Insgesamt hatten wir aufgrund der Werbung und des Auftritts des Hotels deutlich höhere Erwartungen – insbesondere in Bezug auf Hygiene und Qualitätsstandards. Zusammenfassend können wir sagen, dass das Hotel optisch Potenzial hat, jedoch vor allem im Bereich Sauberkeit und Detailpflege dringend nachbessern sollte, um den eigenen Ansprüchen gerecht zu werden.

Wir hatten eine eigene Villa mit privatem Pool und hatten das Frühstück auf der Terrasse in privater Atmophäre. War absolut hervorrangend. Das Geld war gut inverstiert. Gerne wieder.

We really liked everything about the Be Grand resort.

Très bon resort , le personnel est incroyablement gentil et serviable ! Grande chambre , avec excellente literie , bien équipée ! Jolie devanture de mer mais pas avec une vrai plage , mais transat et petit cocon très confortable ! Petit déjeuner varié, nourriture de qualité.. Nous avons aussi adoré le restaurant "Monkey " à la plage ou nous avons très bien mangé ! L' hôtel très bien situé à quelques minutes en scooter ou tul tuk , l'hôtel organise aussi des transferts gratuit !

Nous avions malheureusement une chambre communicante avec une famille très bruyante à côté ! Sur le balcon très forte odeur d'égouts, pas possible d'en profiter tellement ça pué ! Pas le meilleur endroit pour nager en mer car pas de sable seulement accessible avec des chaussons d'eau !

We booked a trip and the hotel tried to change price but when we refused they accepted the price they first gave us. Everything else was good with the hotel!

The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. The territory is really large. There are several places where you can have your meal,but for us Monkey bar was favorite probably. And definitely we were absolutely lucky to get the villa just occasionally and fo free! And the most cool thing about this resort is just villas,because they are located separately from each other like your own small house and far from the main building and main pool with plenty of children))) At the first sight it seems that everything is ideal,but just a couple of remarks: it is not so modern,as it seems on the photo, I mean you realize little bit later that it is founded in 2015 and there’s nothing new since that period. The breakfast was not so variable as it should be in 5* resort. It is strange,that there wasn’t electricity in the bath for hairdryer (may be just for safety).

Det står at de har mye tilgjengelig av mat og drikke, men de har nesten ingen ting. Det gjelder alle resturantene. De ga oss nøkkelkort til feil rom når vi sjekket inn, og så fikk vi «happy honeymoon» kake på rommet, selvom vi ikke var på honeymoon. Antageligvis feil levert.

Personal are litle confused and realy easy. But we have been on vacation.

The hotel has a nice view.

1. There are termites in the room. They are everywhere, on the bed, on the tissues, and on the bathrobe. 2. The room is too damp and there is a musty smell. 3. It's not cleaned thoroughly. There is a hair tie left by the previous guest in the shower area. 4. The breakfast is too bad and the variety is not sufficient. 5. There is no convenience store at the front desk or inside the hotel. The Monkey Bar opens at 11 am and it's very difficult for guests who arrive early to buy a bottle of water.
