Very clean and the infinity pool is spectacular. The breakfast buffet was so good, it genuinely made us look forward to in the morning. Every spot was clean, even when we were tracking sand from the beach, the next minute you’d see someone brushing it.

Over the years, Bohol has had to adapt to the kind of tourists they have and Hennan is no exception. A lot of the food and experiences were changed to adapt to the Korean and Chinese tourists which sometimes feel a bit alienating for Filipino tourists such as myself. I was really surprised there were so many Korean food items at the buffet and would love to have seen more Filipino food too or at least expand it to a bigger variety

We weren’t given a welcome drink while others were, but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all.

I was very impressed by this hotel. The facilities were excellent, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was great. The location was convenient, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a highly recommended hotel and I would gladly stay here again.

I originally booked a short stay but ended up extending for a couple of weeks as I loved the place so much. This place does so many things well; absolutely lovely staff who are always so eager to help, beautiful and comfy rooms, reliable and fast Wi-Fi (I was able to work seamlessly while staying, including having video call meetings) fantastic breakfast with lots of choice incl plenty of fresh fruit and veg, good gym and big swimming pools, stunning sky pools, great mango smoothies (with soy milk!). I love that lots of little details are thought through, e.g. light switches by the bed, dimmer switches, security guards on the beach so you can safely leave your belongings while swimming etc, turtle monitoring of nesting sites. The location is also fantastic, it's close enough to all the Alona Beach dive shops, bars etc, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful on a night - it really was the perfect location. I felt like the atmosphere at Premier Coast was more relaxing, chilled, and family orientated which I appreciated, whereas the original Hennan next door seemed a bit louder - I would definitely choose Hennan Premier Coast again and would stay again without question. Overall, a wonderful stay, thanks! :D

A couple of really minor things and one big one. Major; There seemed to be no environmental awareness which was sad and such an easy fix. Every other hotel I stayed at in the Philippines had water coolers on each floor and refillable bottles in rooms. Hennan instead used multiple 500ml bottles every day for all guests which creates an INSANE amount of plastic waste. I took to filling my water in the gym most of the time, but that seemed to be the only water cooler in the hotel (after asking multiple staff) which got really annoying, so of course everyone else just used single-use plastic all the time. Installing water coolers on each floor and scrapping plastic bottles would be so easy and still convenient for guests. Similarly, I often picked up plastic from the beach when I went swimming. Great that the hotel had bins and recycling right there, but I never saw staff make any effort to clean up the plastic on the beach. There's enough staff that even just a few mins each day would make a difference (at least in front of the resort); if I can do it, surely the hotel can. Minor; 1) It would be great to have some more vegan/vegetarian options on the bar and restaurant menus - atm they are really limited, even though the place does have beans and tofu (in other dishes) that could be offered. I ended up having to argue my way into a meat free salad as I said I wasn't going to pay full price and just have the meat removed. 2) The gym was great but always sooo hot (especially compared to other hotels) which made training a bit uncomfortable and difficult. Staff were always happy to turn on the 2nd air con unit when I asked, but then it takes so long to cool the room down that it's only just getting semi-OK by the time I finished my work out.

If you want to stay right on Alona beach but also want some privacy and a little luxury this is the place. The Junior Suite is definitely the best option.

It’s a cracker - location incredible. The rooftop bar and pool is unique for killer sunsets and awesome happy hours. Staff amazing. And the walk-in pool rooms just genius.

This property is absolutely stunning! The customer service is outstanding- every employee we encountered was pleasant, professional and helpful! Breakfast was delicious! Many items to choose from and we also ordered off the à la cart menu for dinner and it was delicious!

Location is good

The hotel needs serious uplift to be considered as 5 star. Very inexperienced staff who although polite and friendly are not capable to deal with simple requests. Very low quality of services for such a hotel. food was below average, as well as the breakfast. Room was smelling bad and the AC was leaking. Had to move to another room. Beach that you can’t really swim (depending on the tide). Wanted to order a beer in the night and was told that room service doesn’t operate after 21:00 and that if I wanted to get a drink I had to walk to the city. Not going back in this hotel as my experience was disappointing

We had a wonderful stay at Henann Primier Resort. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The resort was clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable and relaxing.The location is excellent, situated right in front of the beach, providing beautiful views and easy access to the water. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast buffet, which offered a delicious variety of food every morning. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Henann Prime Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Very well thought through design. Everything was very convenient, service was attentive and friendly, the rooms were spacious, clean and kept in good condition with comfy beds. The property seemed more quiet than the Hennan next door, which suite us perfectly as we prefer chilled vibe over buzz, especially by the pool and the beach. The location is close to everything you may need - 10 min ride from the airport, 5-7minutes to the high street and restaurants. Beautiful beach right at the doorstep with plenty fish to see if you like snorkeling and it's safely marked by lane line. The food was really good, from breakfast to a'la carte, which we had few times for dinner. The prices are also comparable to other restaurants by the beach, but the food is of the better quality.

Two small suggestion we have would be to have some foot shower by the beach entrance and some additional industrial fan in the gym as the AC didn't seem to be enough.

Staff and location

On the first night after a full day of travel there was a bad smell in the bed, house keeping changed the sheets etc but the smell remained. Changed rooms the following day.

Couldn’t fault the stay at all. Nothing was too much trouble, all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely, room was clean and perfect for our stay. We had celebrated our anniversary and they had decorated the bed for us. The pools have the most amazing views and you walk out onto the beach with plenty of sun beds available. The location is perfect, just a short stroll down the beach to plenty of restaurants which loops round to a a street full of shops/restaurants. Lots of guides around these places to book tours with too once you arrive in Panglao.

Great location with direct access to a nice and calm part of Alona Beach. Plenty of sun chairs. Quiet but central location in town.

Hennan seems to be very inflexible. Example: I requested late checkout, but they couldn’t confirm until the last day, despite the hotel not being full. Also airport transfer is 2pax minimum pay. I could understand if you’re the only one in the van, but not if it’s already half full. Anyways a Grab is less than half the price, but it’s the principle. Service was lazy. Spent a couple of days at the rooftop pool deck. Plenty of staff, but they didn’t make rounds for orders, I had to go to the bar to order just a coffee or whatever. However, there was a guy blasting music from his cell phone for everyone to ‘enjoy’,and the towel guy quickly stopped that. Food was underwhelming: very limited options for low-carb eaters and the pasta I ordered one day was swimming in oil. Finally, there was a lot of noise from the hallway in the morning from what I assume was housekeeping. It woke me up both days even if I sleep with earplugs.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the view was outstanding. The staff were so lovely and the location couldn’t have been better.

No USB outlets anywhere. For a modern 5 star facility we expected this small convenience. Minor point but important.

The hotel is located on the sandy beach, with spacious and clean rooms, comfortable bed, large bathroom with bathtub and shower, balcony with clothes rack. I really liked the rooftop pool with bar, many sun loungers and jacuzzi and there is another huge pool on the ground level that you can access from the room. Nothing is missing from breakfast. They have everything for all tastes. They have European, Korean, Japanese, Filipino food, and some desserts are in a refrigerated display case like in a confectionery. I recommend mango sago, which is delicious. You can have lunch at the restaurant on the beach. You can also have dinner a la carte at the hotel restaurant. The service is top notch and the dishes are delicious. It is a 10-star hotel that I would return to.

We stayed at Junior Suite with beach view - Henann Premier Coast Resort for 4 nights. Everthing was great at this location - Comfort, cleanliness, etc. Food was good but can be improved in terms of variety. It was more focused on Korean and Phillipines customers.

We already paid for 4 nights online when we booked it. BUT When we reached the hotel and doing checkin, they asked for 8000 as a deposit or a credit card. Some people don't use credit card - we are one of those. Even though it wasn't a big amount to give but we planned our stay and had calculated cash. This made us go to the ATM later and get the cash for them however they asked us to go to the room and give the cash later that day. They could have mentioned this on their booking platform or somewhere when we booking it so people can plan better.

This is a nice beachfront resort, but the staff would benefit from better training, especially in housekeeping. We didn’t receive bath soap until the third day of our stay—we initially thought only bar soap was provided. Given the price, this is unacceptable. On the first day of cleaning, there weren’t enough towels for our family suite, and the sand we had left in the room in the morning was still there when we returned. The safety deposit box was not working properly at check-in; although maintenance fixed it, we had to wait about 30 minutes. This should have been checked and resolved before guests arrive. That said, the reception and breakfast service were pleasant.

Although Alona Beach is beautiful, the mattresses were dirty in the morning and were not changed throughout the day. It is quite a long walk from the beach to the main pool, and the hallway floors are extremely slippery when barefoot. Considering this is a high-end resort, having to bring your own outdoor slippers to move around is not an ideal solution. The rooftop pool is beautiful, but the male bartenders were not very friendly. The pool is also quite shallow, so the water becomes very warm. More seriously, the staff did not maintain the floors properly to keep them dry. I slipped and fell, hitting my back and head hard, and was unable to stand for a few minutes. One staff member noticed and asked if I needed medical assistance, which I appreciated. Please be mindful of safety while trying to relax and enjoy your stay at this resort.

It was a great hotel, in a great location! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good, as was the restaurant. Mango Shakes by the sky pool is a great way to spend some time.

The coffee is not great. Tastes like instant coffee - even if you get a cappuccino or a latte or something.
