Lay out bit unconventional. No privacy with wc and bathroom. But ok. Some may not feel comfortable with it..

In het centrum van Ieper. Ontbijt was oke. Kamer was oke.

Er waren veel spinnenwebben in de kamer. Wij dachten dat bij een b&b de gastvrouw aanwezig was maar het werkt met een code. Gastvrouw wel vriendelijk maar wel maar een kwartiertje gezien tijdens ontbijt en de betaling.

De kamer was heel groot en mooi.

De deurtjes van de douche vielen wat uit de toon bij de rest van de kamer

Zeer centraal gelegen accomodatie met ruime verzorgde kamers en ruime badkamer en een schitterende gastvrouw Joke. Niets was teveel gevraagd. zeker een aanrader voor wie Ieper en omgeving wenst te ontdekken!

We hadden het 'genoegen' om daar te verblijven tijdens een zeer warme periode. Het was soms moeilijk om de warmte buiten te houden

Kamer, toilet, douche heel goed. Vrij toegankelijk. Volledig in centrum Ieper waardoor we vlug van alle zaken konden genieten.

Ruime, mooie kamers. Goede ligging Lieve, vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Geen airco! Zeer warm op de kamers. Zeer basic ontbijt. Meer lokale producten gebruiken.

Excellent room, very large, modern, big bath. Very comfortable bed. Separate shower, separate WC, both en-suite. There is an honesty fridge/bar downstairs. Breakfast is available on request. The location, close to the centre of Ypres is very convenient. There is Free parking just around the corner. We met the host in the morning, delightful and helpful. We had an excellent stay.

Stairs are steep if you have mobility issues.

De ligging. Het huis bevond zich in het centrum wat heel makkelijk was om ten volle van het straattheaterfestival 'De Gevleugelde Stad' te kunnen genieten.

1. Wij boekten via booking.com. Daar werd vermeld dat het een totaalprijs was met alle toeslagen en taxen inbegrepen. Toen werd ons door de eigenares plots gevraagd om nog extra toeristenbelasting te betalen. Wij weigerden dat verwijzend naar ons boekingsformulier en zij werd boos. 2. Toen we toekwamen, hing er naast de voordeur een prijzenblad met foto's van de kamers. De prijzen die uithingen waren zo'n 50 euro goedkoper dan op booking. 3. Onze kamer (de blauwe kamer) stonk naar riool. Het vullen van de putjes van lavabo's en douche kon daar geen verandering in brengen. Ook de handdoeken stonken ernaar. We kregen wel nieuwe. Thuis heb ik al onze kleren moeten wassen want die stonken er ook naar. 4. Een zeteltje om lekker in te zitten lezen, had voor dit geld ook wel gemogen. Of een gezellig leeslampje naast weerskanten van het bed. Nochtans betaalden wij veel geld voor deze kamer (iets meer dan 150 euro per nacht). En er was niet eens ontbijt inbegrepen.

Das Haus ist sehr schön, sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr zentral gelegen. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich.

Zu Beginn war die Zimmertemperatur tief. Anmerkung/Info für mobil eingeschränkte Personen: Im Zimmer hat es eine zusätzliche Schwelle, um zum WC/Dusche zu gelangen.

De locatie was prima midden in het centrum Vriendelijke gastvrouw en lekker ontbijt

Alles was perfect

Mooie ruime kamers met goede bedden. Ontbijt uitgebreid, lekker en verzorgd.

Badkamer niet afgescheiden van de slaapkamer. Ik reisde met een vriendin, dus dat vond ik ietwat vervelend.

De ligging kort bij de markt, de restaurants

De locatie nm ieper is prima . Na brugge is ieper voor mij de tweede beste site van west vl.

Excellent location, lovely rooms. We were only there for 2 nights however really liked the comfortable vibe. There was a lounge area and an honesty bar which was a nice touch.

Ontbijt was top, vers, voldoende, voldoende afwisseling en lekker. Voldoende kussens. Voldoende plaats op de badkamer en kamer. Veel folders van de omgeving, wel rommelig.

Deur badkamer werd gemist. Hygiëne kon daar wel beter. Weinig / zeer weinig contact met host was jammer, ik voelde me een vreemde in een ander z´n huis. We zagen een huis met ´een verhaal´ maar kende het verhaal achter de keuzes niet.

We loved this hotel. Super communication, easy access and easy, free parking. The room was really lovely and spacious with huge bathroom area, looked all new and was very clean. We didn't use it but liked the fact there was a small honesty bar and lounge area. My husband liked the chocolates in reception😂 Location was superb, walking into centre in two mins and we highly recommend it.

Considering the location is central of the city, it was a very quiet area and very relaxed,we only met the host on the last day of our stay but she was a lovely person and spoke very nicely.

I love staying here. It’s perfectly placed to explore and enjoy Ypres. Our host is a beautiful human, a lovely lady. I cannot recommend the B&B enough.

The huge open plan bathroom was an interesting feature- personally would prefer a door and a larger shower! Wifi was very slow.

The room was a good size and nicely divided from the bathroom area. It was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet despite facing out onto the street. Location is splendid with bars and restaurants in easy walking distance as was the central square of Ypres. There is also a lovely little courtyard which was perfect for sitting out before going to bed.

Cozy place to relax in a central location of the city with free parking around. Bed is comfortable with big room enough space. Breakfast could be arranged with the lady Joe.

A beautiful room in an excellent area. The only complaint is the wifi was non existent. If you need to work or do research you can not do it with the existing wifi.

Street light adjacent to bedroom window was annoying despite blackout curtains. Noise from traffic on cobbles outside. Infrequent but unsettling. Shower was unnecessarily complicated. No milk in room nor wifi code. Had to go down two flights of stairs to get either.

Lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. Location is very central. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The rooms are spacious, stylish and well-designed. The location was central but relatively quiet. It's a very easy walk to get to the Grote Markt with all the restaurants and on to the Menin Gate. There is plenty of free parking just round the corner on the Minneplein.

We happened to stay during a heatwave, which meant that the bedrooms were very warm, there being no air conditioning. Thankfully there was a fan, which made things bearable. The plumbing was a little querky - the cold water ran very hot for a few minutes before the cold water eventually arrived.

Mrs Jo was a fantastic host. And you couldn't wish for a more central location. The room was nice and large with a great shower.

Constant issues with the lock on the room door. The catch kept sticking.

Room was different, cool layout

The only thing I could say I didn’t like was the lack of air conditioning or fly nets on the windows. I had to leave the windows open because it was very hot and had some insect bite the next day. The place was perfect other than this and the weather was exceptionally hot.

The room was very close to town centre and all the attractions. The staff were very welcoming. The room was very clean and had everything to give us a comfortable stay. Even had a descent hairdryer as some hotels they’re not good! What a beautiful little garden perfect to look out at breakfast and start off the day 🥰

If I was to fault anything would have been nice to of had some little toiletries and maybe a biscuit or 2 on the coffee tray 🤗

It’s hard to know where to start in reviewing this property - avoiding hyperbole it is in the bottom ten of places I have ever stayed at - especially for the prices charged. 1. The internet did not work **the entire 3 days of our stay**. Apparently it was going to be fixed after we left, one of the days of our stay was a national day so this supposedly slowed the process down. I can’t say if it was a service provider issue or not, but I can say that it was not functional for three straight days and the owner did **nothing** to recognize that a major service offering in her overinflated prices was not met. Her remedy was to go a cafe to get our internet. 2. It was dirty - the floor was clean but the upper reaches had hardened spider webs throughout many of the light fixtures. 3. The breakfast, a 12 euro extra, was awful. Not just bad but awful, the first day the owner was there and in fairness it was just underwhelming. The second day she left it to her assistant and he was disinterested - eggs were grossly undercooked, then the bread was removed before we could make up for the fact that the eggs were undercooked. So we were left with very little edible. The dishes from our breakfast remained in the eating area all day and most of the night - not that was particularly inconvenient to us but it was illustrative of the fact he left as soon as he could. 4. Very good location. Beautiful room deco and spacious. Delicious breakfast. The room was on the street and it was nosy with open windows. So in summer chose garden view!

B&B saBBajon was in a great location, easy walk to all the central restaurants and Menin Gate. Jo and her staff were so friendly and nothing was to to much, they went above and beyond. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good start to the day. I would defiantly recommend this property to anybody who is visiting Ypres.
