You have to pay in cash which wasn't clear beforehand but there is an ATM next door so no problem. The fish look too big for the tank they're in

The pool and pool area were fabulous - very clean and well kept! The personnel was sweet though a bit reserved. It felt very safe and clean enough. It's close to the main road which you have to cross in order to get to the tourist strip towards the beach. It's about a 15 minute nice walk there.

Pool needs to be cleaned more often. Leaves, fluff/feathers from the chicken & cock & bugs. Bathroom need to be maintained - There were cracks in the ceiling and so flakes of the ceiling were increasingly on the floor during my stay. Drains/plumbing needs to be maintained - worms coming out of drains/sinks etc. Final night more significant part of ceiling fell on the floor and large number of worms when I went in to use the bathroom.

Probably the best hotel i have stayed at the staff are very nice and will do anything for you,if you stay have the string hoppers for breakfast out of this world ,the rooms are very clean and big with a lovely shower and tv,you can cook your own meals and use tea and coffee making facilities.3 times i have been here in 4 months fantastic place and not far from the beach.

De badkamer was niet schoongemaakt: er lagen overal haren, er zat schimmel op de douchekop, er lag gebruikte zeep en er waren bruine vlekken in de wasbak. Daarnaast was de eigenaar zeer onvriendelijk. Toen ik vroeg of het mogelijk was om het aantal gasten tegen extra betaling te wijzigen naar twee personen, werd hij boos en begon hij tegen mij te schreeuwen. Ik stelde voor om het gesprek te beëindigen en dit de volgende dag, wanneer hij gekalmeerd zou zijn, voort te zetten. Hierop gaf hij aan dat ik hem niet meer moest bellen. Dit alles ontstond omdat ik per ongeluk een tweepersoonskamer had geboekt maar had aangegeven dat er één gast zou komen. Toen ik vervolgens met mijn vriend aankwam, reageerde hij extreem en dreigde hij zelfs de politie te bellen. De eigenaar is naar mijn ervaring niet voor rede vatbaar en communiceert op een zeer onprofessionele manier. Ondanks dat ik meerdere keren aangaf dat ik op een rustige en respectvolle manier wilde communiceren, bleef hij schreeuwen. Uiteindelijk heb ik het gesprek beëindigd en ben ik naar een ander hotel gegaan, omdat deze situatie voor mij onacceptabel was.

We enjoyed our 5-night stay here. It's a budget hotel and for the low price we paid, we can't have very high expectations. The room was clean and acceptably comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Hot water worked well but the pressure in the shower isn't great. Wi-Fi was not stable but internet seems to be a problem in the area of Unawatuna so, this is not exclusive to the hotel. Location was very convenient. The swimming pool, which seems much newer than the hotel building itself, was very nice. Staff very friendly. Overall, we were satisfied.

My only complaint is with regards to the laundry service offered at the hotel. We paid extra for this service and it was a total waste of money. Clothing was returned to us in a worse state than before and did not smell of soap at all. It was as if they had only used water. None of the dirtiness was removed. Cloths were not folded upon return and were wrinkled, too. A total disaster. We had to find a different laundry service, elsewhere, and pay more to have them washed again. Avoid doing this at the hotel.

Pool - but didn't use it because of the continuous very loud noise coming from the quarry ( stone crusher machine during the day) directly behind the wall. The hotel was clean and well maintained.

Advertised with balcony - balcony was 1m x 1m. Could not fit a chair. Room felt very small because of huge 4 poster bed. Very noisy quarry!!

La ubicacion y la piscina de este alojamiento son geniales. La habitación tiene aire acondicionado y ventilador. Volvería a alojarme aquí si volviese porque por el precio compensa bastante.

La habitación es pequeña y oscura pero por lo que vale no se puede pedir más.

Piccola struttura in zona tranquilla, con sorveglianza h24. Molto accogliente la zona piscina, frequentata anche da simpatici polletti. Molto gentile la ragazza alla reception che ci ha accolti. Vicino alla via principale di Unawatuna. Bancomat e fermata dell'autobus subito fuori l'hotel.

Ci hanno assegnato la camera n.1, in zona reception, molto piccola, senza armadio.

Propriétaire et personnel très agréables. L'hôtel est parfaitement situé pour un accès à pied à la plage et à tous les restaurants. Piscine superbe. Chambre propre et matelas confortable. Super rapport qualité-prix à Unawatuna. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

We loved the new pool area, the hotel itself wasn't new, but it was reasonably clean. Staff was great-super helpful and lovely. We enjoyed the stay, I'd say great value for the money we paid! Would recommend!

- очень приветливый персонал, - есть парковка перед отелем - недалеко от тусовочной улицы, но в тихом месте - номер небольшой, но терпимо

- очень маленькая раковина и душ никак не отделен от остальной части ванной, в итоге все внутри мокрое - довольно шумный кондиционер - идти до моря вдоль проезжей дороги, но это в принципе норма для Шри-Ланки

Спасибо за кофортный отдых! Хозяева вы супер! Улыбчивые и дружелюбные люди, готовые на любую просьбу откликнуться и помочь. А теперь по отелю. Хороший отель за свои деньги, не вау, но всё что нужно есть, уборка по запросу пожалуйста . Отличный бассейн, очень чистый, для нас это было важно, фото специально сделали для других, чтобы видели. Забронировали этот отель через букинг без оплаты, связались с отелем, бронь сразу подтвердили, связь держали с ними до самого приезда, помогли с трансфером в отель и из отеля. Заселили ночью без вопросов и доплат, на утро только заплатили за проживание. Некоторые пишут про лесопилку рядом, ее почти не слышно, нам совершенно не мешало, шум с улицы не слышен, всё тихо и спокойно. Рядом банкомат находится. Рядом ходят тук тукеры, автобусы во все направления. До пляжа идти недалеко минут 5-10, по туристической улице, мимо всех кафешек, рядом хорошая кофейня Бариста.

Отель пастель-завтрак, по недостаткам по мелочам даже писать не будем, ерунда это всё! Самое главное океан и природа😊

Очень понравился сад и бассейн))) и персонал )) очень отзывчивые люди, готовые прийти на помощь в любой момент) Также понравилось размещение отеля, недалеко от пляжа, но и главная дорога абсолютно не помеха 👍🏻

The staff was very helpful and responsive to all of our requests and they let us stay longer than the check-out time. It was good value for the price, with balcony, TV and fridge in the room.

It's a good budget place near the Unawatuna commercial bank ATM bus Stop. Good smiling hotel staff. Very near to the beach. Very easy to catch bus to and from Unawatuna from here. Good big sized rooms and quiet environment.

The rooms were clean and looked freshly painted and furniture newly polished, linen fresh. comfy bed and pillows. Ac worked like a charm. Property is well maintained. The owner and managing persons are very friendly and helpful. They sweetly upgraded our rooms. Cafeteria is on the ground floor and has a set menu. homecooked meals. hot water. clean bathrooms. mosquito nets. cute balcony and the beautiful tropical plants. parking inside. it's located very conveniently on the main road. bus stop right outside. tuktuk right at the gate. 2 Atm s are literally at the doorstep. convenience stores within few metres. the beach is small 400m away and plenty of cafe s along the way.

Fan and AC position was at a distance where we didn't feel cold enough instantly. Had to wait for 10 20mins at least. But its okay if you consider the rent.

Property is at very good location. less than a km from unawatuna beach. many shops nearby. Room is big , clean and restroom is cleaned well. The host don't know much of english , so we struggled a bit for communication.we paid 1 day room amount for our 3 days stay. easy access to transport to galle and thalpe beach. Breakfast is available for a amount but there are shops nearby where you can get very affordable food. overall a great experience. Wifi is free. Good water flow in bathroom and hot water is available.

A really nice place for a digital nomad for this price: the wifi is stable and good (about 60-70mbps, enough for good conf calls), the room is very quiet, there is a table and chair to work (the only thing, I had to move it closer to reach the charger and it was difficult to walk around). No insects anywhere: no ants, no mosquitos (if you have the electric repellent on when you check in for a short while and then use the AC without opening windows, of course), no cockroaches. The bed is very comfortable, the room and the linen are very clean. And the location is perfect: the buses stop just on the exit, so you can go surfing in 10 mins, the main road to the beach is just infront, so you have plenty of places to eat or drink in or it would be a 10-15mins to the beach just to chill a nd swim. The garden is beautiful and there is a space to sit outside. The staff are very nice and friendly. You can use the fridge in common area.

Everything was good. The room is a bit too small with that big bed and no place to store things. The staff don't really speak much English. My room was just by the reception that, I think, was good for my wifi, but there may be people passing a bit more often that you may hear (except for two loud kids one morning, it was never an issue).

Exellent and value for money. clean rooms, beautiful garden and friendly staff with exceptional service. 5 star place for me. Owner is very cooperative and friendly. Clean and tidy linens. Garden is colourful with lot of verify of native plant. Kids enjoyed a lot. Highly recommend. You want regret for your decision to choose this hotel.

Convenient location and value for money

The location is great less than 5 minutes from the beach. It's very quiet in there. I couldn't hear any traffic at all. The mattress was very comfy and had great sleep. The personal is very friendly as usual with Sri Lankans. Good WiFi from my room. Spent 3 days here.

There was a smell of damp as per other guest's comments however, While its persistent, it was not overwhelming and I got used to it after few minutes in the room. Small little confusion with the price to charge. Toilet basin and mirrors could have been cleaned too. A bit pricey for what I have encountered during the following days.

AC was turned off in the morning and not turned back on until past 5pm. we were told there was a power cut when there clearly wasn’t. AC was switchable in the main area and all rooms were just turned off for whatever reason. no scheduled power cuts, all other power worked. this just felt like a money saving exercise. we booked a room with AC for a reason, not to only use it after 5pm. first hotel we’ve paid on check in (in the last 15 properties) which seems clear as to the reason why.
