i liked the pool(s) and the view of the river is beautiful

i did not like that i was supposed to turn off the air conditioner when i leave the room. i feel like if im paying for the room i should be able to leave it on so when i return it is still cool in the room

L’établissement mériterait un meilleur entretien et une rénovation. Les chambres et les équipements sont vieillissants. Par exemple, le carrelage autour de la piscine était abîmé ce qui a provoqué la chute et la blessure d’un enfant.

We stayed in two different rooms. The large family room above reception and a riverview room. Neither room had adequate air conditioning. Also being an older property it could use a little maintenance in places.

J’ai adoré être un peu à l’écart du monde dans cette villa super bien située au bord de la rivière. Personnel agréable et à l’écoute. Ils m’avaient changé de chambre pour éviter que ce ne soit trop bruyant. Je recommande !

Location was perfect. So lovely to wake up, right on the river every morning. Amazing. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Location was excellent, as was the pool. Privacy was good.

Bathroom certainly needs cleaning and TLC. No hot water, no television. Needs better lighting in the room. The night verandah light shown into the bedroom, illuminating it, and making it difficult to sleep.

Un peu éloigné mais avec un scooter c'est très bien ! Et les volets laissent beaucoup passer de lumière.

Super emplacement le long de la rivière. Repas et petit déjeuner très bien. Jeux pour petits et grands.

Peut-être les joueurs de billards un soir, mais ils sont partis à 22h00 alors pas trop de nuisances sonores.

Die Managerin...

Un joli moment de détente dans cette belle demeure au vord de l'eau proposant une agréable piscine. Le réveil avec le chant des oiseaux. Observer le va et vient des bateaux de pêcheurs et le clair de lune étoilé depuis le deck en bois.

Situé en bord de Riviere, on peut voir les bateaux partir a la pêche. La piscine est agréable. La vue sur les montagnes derrière c'est magnifique.

Le logement commence à se faire vieux. Literie ok. Isolation presque absente. Meubles un peu vieillots. Ça sent un peu le renfermé. Ça mériterait un petit coup de neuf car le lieux est exceptionnel 🙏

Great position on the river literally just outside the town, ( you will understand if you have been or when you have been) Very relaxing. New year celebrations going on while we were there, brilliant atmosphere but very glad to be £1:50 worth of tuc tuc away once we had taken in the mania.

EVERYTHING, cannot recommend this place enough, it's a real gem. We ended up staying in Room 1 as the room we booked didn't have a view. Room 1 had a stunning view of the river from a huge private verandah, complete with comfortable lounge suite & comfy dining setting, situated to enjoy the view & the gentle river breeze. The trees & gardens are established & lush. Birdlife was beautiful, saw numerous species, more birds on this property than we've seen during the past 2 months of traveling. Our verandah also looked over the pool, which we used regularly, heaps of comfy day beds & shade. Drinking water is supplied, rooms cleaned daily, & we hired a scooter at a great price. The staff speak English & are friendly. The owner is a legend, he's knowledgeable about the culture & generous with his time.

Cannot imagine what there is to not like & If there was something, you'd only need to tell the staff & it would be sorted.

The people working there are fantastic Hans has a good crew Beautiful location with a lovely pool our room looked over the pool to the river 2nd time we have stayed here and intend to come back

L'hôtel devrait mieux entretenir son établissement surtout la piscine du fond - Dommage. L'établissement devait vraiment être magnifique avant la période Covid. Un petit rafraichissement du mobilier extérieur (le long des piscines) serait un plus.

Very relaxing space outside of the city, but an easy scooter or tuk tuk ride away. The pools were refreshing, the food was tasty (especially the quesadillas), and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. Relaxing by the river, experiencing the breeze, and even kitesurfing were all top experiences. Also nice having a large water jug at the bar that is always replenished.

The shower occasionally had super low water pressure to the point that a shower wasn’t really possible, but this was reconciled. The ping pong table could use new paddles :)

Het uitzicht en de tuin met het prachtige uitzicht bij de rivier is fantastisch. Met de tuk tuk is het 6 min. Naar Kampot. Het restaurant is ook prima. Zwembad is heerlijk en het uitzicht maakt een hoop goed.

De kamer (2) is echt van een hostel niveau. Slechte matras en douche waar nauwelijks een straal uitkomt, wc spoelt slecht door en vloer loopt zo af in de badkamer dat het haast gevaarlijk wordt als het nat is. Er is echt flink onderhoud nodig.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was beautiful and relaxing with decent food, a couple of swimming pools and a game room. There was no reason to ever leave! The staff was extremely helpful. We rented kayaks one day and a scooter the next. We would definitely stay here again.

L’emplacement est super. Ça n’est pas trop loin de la ville. Et c’est parfait pour regarder le couché du soleil sur la rivière. On a eu des bouteilles chaque jour. Super piscine.

La douche était froide. La salle de bain a vraiment besoin d’un rénovation. On a dormi avec un petit lézard dans notre chambre.

We had 4 days in Kampot. We had 2 days of city centre accommodation and 2 days at Villa Vedici - and we are very glad we made that decision to stay at Villa Vedici. Very friendly and responsive & supportive staff. Staff made us aware of fishing boat noise about the 5pm and 5am, but really, that was actually our highlight. The view was just amazing (we had the Suite with River View)!!! Located not far from the town centre. There was always tuk tuk within a few minutes of booking on Grab - in fact it was fun to tuk tuk into town those 2 days. It is located not far from the Green Cathedral either. Huge 20L bottle spring water was very appreciated. Food was reasonable quality. Drinks were good. Food & drink prices average/fair. Room was spacey and clean.

It surprised us that the room was very backpacker-like. Very basic bed & luggage counter & wardrobe. A bit of maintenance is required - the shower head kept spinning and a bit of effort was required to get it to stay in place. I'm sure staff would have responded if we asked but we just wanted to relax. - the pool had a bit of moss/green mould in the grout line (to be fair, I found this to be the case with my other city centre accommodation too). I think Kampot just doesn't do pools the way Siem Reap & Phnom Penh do. The tall step into/out of the bathroom worried me (for increased risk of tumbling in the middle of the night) so I placed a chair just in front of the sliding door to remind ourself of the big step. Any of the above a show stopper? No. Would I come back to Villa Vedici? Absolutely.

Stunning riverside location with beautiful river and Mountain views. Spacious leafy gardens with two pools. A bustling vibe. Reasonable food.

Very tired with lots of things that didn’t work or weren’t quite right: broken bedside lamps; broken chairs; broken tiles in pool, scruffy bathroom lumpy mattress. Staff sometimes friendly sometimes surly.

Die Umgebung

Die Anlage war bestimmt vor einigen Jahren sehr schön. zu teuer für diese abgewohnten Zustand. Das erste Deluxe Doppelzimmer, war sehr schlecht. Die Tür ließ sich nicht richtig schließen. Das Bad war muffig, Putz bröckelt von den Wänden. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht bei Ankunft. Haben dann für einen viel zu hohen Preis das Zimmer getauscht. Die Unterkunft war die schlechteste auf unserer Reise. Können wir nicht empfehlen.

Echt een prachtige ligging! Vooral de kamers met uitzicht op de rivier en zwembad. Omgeving is erg mooi en goed te doen met een scooter. Kampot is een gezellige provincie stad ( leuker dan Battambang!).Elke dag schoonmaak en schone handdoeken( zoals het hoort).

Can’t beat the views! So quiet and peaceful and exactly like the photos. It’s far away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet close enough to take a tuk tuk or even walk into town.

Some rooms were not great. They first gave me a room that reminded me of a prison cell and it was just by the pool bar so you would hear everything. They were nice though and gave me a new room when I asked to change a the new room was very nice. The staff wasn’t very service minded, not rude in any way just not great

Dit hotel is heel mooi gelegen aan de rivier. je kan er genieten van prachtige zonsondergangen. Leuk zwembad en het water was ideaal van temperatuur. Een heel relaxte sfeer heerst er daar, het is ook rustig gelegen, weg van het centrum van Kampot. Maar met een tuk tuk ben je er zo !

La bonne volonté et la gentillesse du personnel ne suffisent pas à surmonter la négligence de l'entretien de cet hôtel qui est pourtant magnifique dans un cadre incroyable au bord du fleuve Il faut dire qu'on avait passé un séjour à Siem rep dans un hôtel fabuleux au même tarif

Nous avons aimé l'emplacement et les 2 piscines.

C'est très bruyant, la chambre était au niveau de la réception. Vers 11h30 PM Nous avions demandé de faire cesser les bruits ( musique, discussions sonores très élevées...). Tôt le matin, nous avions les bruits des cuisines (vaisselles...) et des employés. Pas du tout reposant !! Nous avons demandé de changer de chambre. Installation à l'étage mais toujours dans la même partie du bâtiment. A peine moins bruyant. Nous vous conseillons d'éviter ces chambres.

Fantastische plek aan de rivier. Uitzicht aan de rivier is echt fenomenaal! Bovendien heb je een fijn restaurant met lokale Cambodjaanse gerechten maar bijv ook hele lekkere Mexicaanse gerechten (de quesadilla is echt hemels) en als je wilt ook bitterballen (de eigenaar is Nederlands).

Dat ik weg moest maar ik kom terug.

Le calme , l'emplacement...

Le lieu devait être magique mais malheureusement pas entretenu.. transats cassés, matelas abîmés, sanitaires piscine sale et mal entretenu... Seul les espaces verts sont agréables, dommage car ça pourrait être un petit paradis. ( Le forfait petit déjeuner pas proposé, malgres le prix signalé par booking donc payé plein pot...)

Schitterende locatie aan de rivier vriendelijke medewerkers en prima eten.

Er is wel wat onderhoud nodig hier zijn Ze mee bezig. Handdoeken mogen echt wel vervangen worden

L’accueil par Tim excellent, la chambre présentée ne me convenait pas par son emplacement et son espace , pas de soucis Tim nous a trouvé une autre chambre plus agréable. Une kitchenette est mise à disposition, la literie confortable, juste la douche sans plateau de douche ( c’est à dire que le carrelage sans rebord) du coup difficile de ne pas tout mouiller en prenant une douche , mais comme il faisait chaud , le sol séchait très vite . Ce sont des bungalows avec petite terrasse . L’endroit est simplement magique , un peu à l’écart c’est un domaine spacieux où la végétation luxuriante est abondante, bien entretenue, deux piscines complètent le paysage, divers petits coins salons où se poser accueillent confortablement. Les TukTuk connaissent bien l’adresse et vous emmènent partout très facilement. Les excursions dans les environs sont à conseiller. Toute « une écurie de véhicules » pour enfants s’y trouve( tricycles, vélos, trottinettes, petites voitures ! Table de ping pong , billards, fléchettes , divers jeux de société, sports nautiques. Idéal pour des vacances en famille avec de petits enfants. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et peut être pris toute la journée , belle qualité de repas. Les propriétaires sont chaleureux et présents tous les jours ( monsieur est néerlandais et madame cambodgienne ). Le coucher de soleil sur le ponton est extraordinaire, un rdv quotidien à ne pas rater ! Je conseille cet endroit où je pense revenir .

À part le bac de douche inexistant je n’ai rien à redire Peut être la cuisine qui ferme à 20 h - donc pas de repas plus tard

The room was too tiny, the bed too small as well. I would recommend the owner to do some new renovations to make more spotless and worth the value. Everything of this place is great accept the room. However I still recommend you all to go and stay at this place.

Der Pool und die Lage am Fluss sind sehr schön.

Etwas außerhalb der Stadt, Madratzen sehr weich und durchgelegen. Vom Kaffee in der Früh ist mir schlecht geworden.

The vibe and the nature is beautiful. The front 4 appartement are nice, the rest are average. Staff are very nice and helpful. Owner and wife are very nice. some rooms are very nice, some are very poor.

Hard to put big group there, while the quality of rooms are not the same. That was a quite big renovation during peak season.

Fantastiske omgivelser. To gode pools, en dejlig have, en hyggelig restaurant og udsigt over floden. Sødt personale og god mad. Dejligt roligt og hyggeligt sted lidt uden for Kampot.

Hytten trængte virkelig til en opgradering. Det var slidt, stikkene virkede ikke, badeværelserne ret primitive, og ingen aircondition.

Sauberkeit des Pools und der Sonnenliegen, die teilweise kaputt waren.
