Le Pleasant Hôtel & Café

The owner, Nathalie, was hands on and very helpful...as were all her staff! Rooms were made up daily in a timely manner and very clean! Thanks to Eric, Erin, Geoffrey, and others for their care and attention to detail, excellent service, and warm and friendly service. Definitely a family vibe to this 10 room hotel and cafe. Breakfast was definitely delicious even if somewhat pricey. Thanks to all and if we return to Sutton or surroundings, we will definitely book in with you! Louise & John C., Laval

Beautiful place with excellent and attentive staff

Loved the place. Very charming. Highly recommend

A pleasant experience, impeccably clean, with a good shower and truly excellent amenities. The absolute silence in the hotel and around, the comfortable bed and the quality linens provided us with an excellent rest.

The hotel is well designed, the room is quiet, staff is totally responsive and thoughtful and the breakfast is inspired and delicious. This as our second stay at Le Pleasant. We love the place.

I like the odor of carpet.

Homey but well appointed. Very friendly staff. I. The future I might ask not to have a third floor room as it was a bit of an effort for me. All else was great.

Lovely people. Took the time to explain where to find things in the room and extras about the property. Bed was ok. Quiet inn just off the main road in Sutton. Charming area with options for dining.

The only room left was their smallest room with a double bed. Overall property was lovely and well maintained and location was excellent in the charming village of Sutton. They also offer breakfast for an extra charge.

Very pretty and authentic spot rich in history and practicality at the same time! Room was cozy and comfy with excellent personal care products. Everything around is walkable and staff is very resourceful.

Beautiful boutique hotel, well located in Sutton downtown..great breakfast and great amenities

Very friendly and in the middle of town.

very quaint

Wonderful stay, nice staff, great room.

Such a pleasant. Came here to enjoy the mountain and wanted comfort. This hotel is very cute and feels homey. The room smelt of mild citrus. Very nice restaurant too offering fine culinary experience. I might have appreciated something more traditional for breakfast but the omelette was delicious nevertheless. I would definitely stay here again

Great place to stay within walking distance of dining and shopping. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient onsite parking - even two charging stations for guests with EV’s. My only criticism is the lighting in the room is not great for reading in bed. Otherwise this place is tops!

If in the area again, I would be delighted to stay again. I left early, so missed their wonderful breakfast offerings.

Super friendly, Super clean

Need new tvs

Breakfast is original, a culinary experience. The TV was not working in the room. It's a small hotel (10 rooms) in an old building, conveniently located just beside Main Street. Owner and staff are welcoming and helpful.

Nice place, modern furnishings, good café very nice people.

The property is clean and unique considering the history of it. We really enjoyed and very happy we chose this hotel.

It is a very quiet place and the staff is A1.

Nice staff, clean room, free parking ev charging dock, delicious breakfast/lunch, quiet at night

Mold on bricks in shower enclosure. Small tv on low table, difficult to watch in bed.

Nice room

Quirky room in an old Railroad hotel. Weird but fabulous! Nicest staff in the world!

Wonderful, accommodating hotel personnel make for a friendly and pleasant stay. My room was lovely. The bed super comfortable. I love staying in heritage buildings so that was an added extra. The lovely porch and deck are great for relaxing outside. Highly recommend the breakfasts. Would love to return!

I highly recommend Le Pleasant if you are staying in Sutton. The hotel was beautiful and the cafe was delicious!

Very quaint and cute stay. Staff was super friendly

Great little hotel. Friendly owners and charming decor in a perfect location in the middle of the village.

Clean quiet confortable perfect location for weekend spring skiing

Very nice welcome! Spacious tidy room! Accessable…!

Bien

Lovely place! Needs some rockers on the front porch.

Our stay was great.

The staff , room and building are all amazing

The hotel had been updated but they have maintained the township charm. Staff was outstanding and the breakfast/brunch was fantastic.

I stayed in the smallest, least expensive room here and was very happy with it -- it was very attractive, cozy but not cramped, and had a spacious bathroom - I made sure to get a room with a soaking tub. Location is right off the downtown main street so it's easy to walk to restaurants, cafes, and shops. There's no hotel staff on site after 7 pm but the late arrival instructions I was sent were easy to follow. Great place to stay in Sutton!

The room was super nice and so was the staff! They were very accommodating, definitely an enjoyable stay!

unique charming great service great location

Hotel staff were very helpful and personable. Very convenient location, easy walking to restaurants and shops.

Cozy room, and very nice staff.

Everyone was wonderful the room is great.

Staff friendly and attentive, rooms small but clean and comfortable.

Liked the staff who were friendly and accommodating. The room was large and bright and bery comfortable. Underwhelmed by the pricy breakfast.

This Hotel is fun, clean and unique with many personal touches. The owners and staff were all exceptionally helpful and kind. The cafe was truly a delight!!

A lot of little things made our stay enjoyable. While we had a corner suite it was surprisingly quiet. The location is ideal for using the nearby trails and accessing the village stores and restaurants.

This is a beautiful old property in downtown Sutton with convenient access to the restaurants and shops in town, and is just a few minutes from Mont Sutton slopes. My family loved staying here. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great showers and sense of charm. Gracious hosts and great having the bistro right there. We will definitely visit again.

Very friendly, comfortable, and quiet. Lees Pleasant is the only place to get breakfast on Sutton on Wednesdays. The shuttle up to the ski hill stops right outside

Very nice place

Very nice hotel in a lovely Quebec town. Friendly staff and very clean, classic rooms

La Pleasant is located in a legacy building filled with period charm. The breakfasts served in the cafe are an outstanding attraction: creative, healthy and nourishing. The attention provided by the small staff--stretched by the labour shortages of the pandemic--was first rate. The television in our suite acted up during our stay, but the staff attended to the problem quickly. The only challenge of which older visitors need to be aware is the climb up to the third floor, which was made more difficult by the wearing of COVID-19 masks. Otherwise, La Pleasant is a charming and welcoming stay.

Conveniently located right in town within in easy walking distances of restaurants etc. Excellent hiking a 5 minute drive out of town. Clean, spacious rooms.

En plein du village endroit tranquille

Nice quaint old house, lots of character and the staff was very friendly. My room was #5, spacious with 2 windows. It would be great to have a mini fridge in the room. You can get ice from the café downstairs until 7pm. As it is an old house, the walls are pretty thin... Definitely recommend it if in Sutton.

Historic old building beautifully renovated. They gave us all the comforts without compromising the charm. Great location .

Excelente food and nice restaurant . Super confortable

Very amazing experience and great location. Very nice selection of restaurants just a walk by

Nice location with very nice rooms and ambiance. Breakfast delicious.

Beautiful rooms and settings. Comfortable. Nice art work. In the center of the village, with good small restaurants and cafés and shops nearby.

A special well kept place in the heart of Sutton - they serve an awesome breakfast/brunch too!

amazing place, very good service, the room was in excellent condition

The hotel staff were great! From checking-in, to securing reservations at local restaurants, to a smile every morning as we sat down to breakfast, the hotel staff couldn't be more professional or accommodating.

Great location and friendly staff that had great suggestions!!

Exceptional stay in room #9 for a little family get-away. Suite is on top floor with separate bedroom and a spacious living area with two sofa beds for our kids. Loved the mix of modern and rustic decor and all the attention to details. I travel around the world from Europe to Dubai. Le Pleasant is really an unexpected gem in Sutton. Breakfast was excellent, best ham and cheese crepe I’ve ever had. I’m not joking and I am picky at times. It’s rated top 10 3-star hotel in Canada. I think it’s just because the hotel is small and charming, and does not have all the facilities of commercial chain hotels. I give it a 5-star, at least for our little family get-away. Congratulations to a business well-run with care and integrity!

Amazing, friendly staff, great location Brunch was superb !

Very clean, comfortable room. Secure bike parking. Good air conditioning

Very nice place and a cute town. Food, was great, we had breakfast only. Service was nice and very clean rooms. My only complaint would be that we stated to run a Spartan race and there was no access to any ice after 7pm or refrigerator in our room. They should have a small ice maker in hallway or some place for guest. Other then that, we would stay again.

Very well renovated property right in the middle of Sutton, we really liked our stay.

Tasteful and modern suite, spacious and well appointed. Brunch downstairs was delicious, and the staff was gracious and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay. Super nice room, quiet and relaxing. We were told the coffee machine wasn’t working though... would have been nice to have the chance to try their coffee since it’s in their name.

The building was beautiful. The room was the perfect size for 2 people just looking for a good nights rest. There’s a small cafe on the main floor where you can lounge and relax.

Jolie petit hotel dans une vieille maison. Les chambres sont très belle et confortable. Très bien situé à Sutton. Près de la montagne et des restaurants.

Very nice place, clean and proper. I would definitely stay again.

Positives-perfect location, parking, decor, exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, clean, nice bathroom, quiet location in general, great cafe! Negatives-noise level between rooms (sounded like our neighbours were entering our room at 12:30am and then could hear them talking through the wall), room 5 had a small bed for 2 people), couldn’t get tv to work.

Great location in Sutton with a pleasant cafe. Quaint with a nice mix of old and new. Room was very comfortable. Shower was very nice and the bath products were heavenly.

Excellent hotel . Walking distance to lovely town. Le Pleasant is tres Pleasant I

Great location in Sutton ... just off the main street but is very quiet. The room we stayed was nicely appointed and cozy. Staff very friendly, enhancing the small boutique hotel atmosphere.

Wonderful hotel. Beautifully decorated. Keruig coffee maker in room. Bathrobes. Spacious Room. Friendly helpful staff. If you are considering this hotel, definitely stay here. We wished we were there more than one night. Be sure to have breakfast or lunch at the cafe - its delicious!!!!

Delightful property with gracious innkeepers. Breakfast was delicious and the terrace lovely.

My stay was very enjoyable, and I look forward to returning. My breakfast was excellent, with the best coffee.

We didn’t get to stay long but the room was nice and we really enjoyed our brunch out on the terrace. We would definitely return!

Very nice Hotel and friendly staff

AMAZING ... beautiful place , wonderful host , exceeded all our expectations , Cafe was delightful !

very nice place. right in the middle of the town we met the owner in person and they are very polite and at our service very nice building and excellent sens of place

The owners of this hotel have beautifully remodeled an historic building and have created a delightful place to stay. The staff is wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay.

This boutique hotel is all about location and comfort. It is right off the main street of Sutton, so close to restaurants and shops. The room is very comfortable, and so are the beds. The Café offers tasty breakfast (albeit a bit pricey). The hotel is also not far from the Sutton ski station, and a nature reserve for hiking (about 10 min. drive). We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful experience. Old charm exterior. Modern rooms and bathrooms. Bistro is fantastic. Will definitely stay again!

Very pleasant stay, our first, in Sutton. The hotel is located in the middle of town, 50 yds down off the main street, so was very quiet. Staff is superb.

We had reserved for 2 nights. Due to family illness we had to shorten our stay and fly back early. We contacted Orbitz AND the Hotel directly about 2-3 days prior and explained our situation. Orbitz said Sorry too late. You are within the 2-3 days before starting your stay. So we had to pay for two nights in a lovely room that we only used for 3-hours to prepare for a wedding. (we drove to Sutton, dressed for the wedding and then drove to the airport)

We stayed 2 nights and loved our stay. The decor was lovely. The staff were very nice and helpful. We had breakfast both mornings and the meals were very nice. Our only complaint was the bed was uncomfortable and my wife had trouble getting in and out of the over bath shower due to the long glass screen.

Excellent stay! Cozy, modern room and very close to downtown restaurants.

Modern yet charming; a great combination if you want to do a small inn that understands the latest trends. Super check-in and check-out. Incredibly nice people.

We were pleasantly surprised by the charm of Le Pleasant Boutique Hotel, a restored early 1900's built home with beautiful woodwork. The team prides on their excellent service and clean upkeep. The rooms offer all the necessary amenities, although the rooms didn't provide bottled water (tap water or water from the downstairs restaurant and glasses were made available), and the pillows could be upgraded. Otherwise, very comfortable private rooms with nicely updated bathrooms. Do try the restaurant, Le Pleasant Café. We highly recommend its mouth watering healthy and savory menu. We plan on returning.

we had a wonderful room - stunning century home that is wonderfully decorated - room was perfect everyone was wonderful to talk too and very helpful - I would recommend this too all my family and friends. We stayed 3 nites and could stay longer if we could of - Thank you to the owner that was a wonderful man to talk too and very helpful.

This was my first time away with my son for a ski trip and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The personnel was so friendly, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and decorated very nicely. Every detail that could make my stay comfortable had been thought of. I should mention that they serve the best café au lait in their quaint breakfast dining area. I will definitely come back with my whole family next time, as it's also only minutes away from Mont Sutton.inn

I rarely review hotels, but my stay at Le Pleasant Hotel was so nice that I had to take the time to write a review. First, the hotel was extremely clean and well cared-for. Despite being in an old building, everything was modern (which suits my taste well). The staff was extremely attentive and was wonderful with our two-year-old. They all pitched in with ideas of what to do while we were visiting Canada (we ended up going to Montreal for the day). The food at the cafe was delicious, and the staff was a joy to talk with. My wife, who is the tougher critic, said she couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay, so that sums it up right there. We definitely plan to stay here again next time we come to Canada, and will recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in that part of French Quebec.
