Location was great. Ease of access to restaurants and ferry. Hostess/owner very kind.

Entrance up steep hill and parking in front of your unit is tricky. Accommodations need a little maintenance and updating but very clean.

De kamer was goed, er was naast de gebruikelijke waterkoker, magnetron en koffiezetapparaat ook een airfyer aanwezig. Zou je echt willen koken, dan was er slechts een eenpits plaatje en zou je een pan/pannen bij de receptie moeten vragen. (Wij hebben daar geen gebruik van gemaakt). Koffie, thee en suiker stonden klaar en kon je kostenloos bij vragen. Zeep, shampoo en conditioner waren aanwezig alsmede een föhn.

Bij ons was de rookmelder batterijloos. We hebben dit gemeld, maar er werd in ieder geval tot ruim een dag na de melding geen actie op ondernomen. Bij vertrek nogmaals gemeld. Dit was voor ons wel een echte min. Dat de badkraan lekt (eveneens gemeld) en dat daar á la minuut niets aan gebeurd, daar hebben we minder moeite mee, al vinden we de waterverspilling jammer.

Poor excuse for a Reno on an old motel. Lipstick on a pig. If you’re going to update a property do it right. Gaps in cheap laminate and a bit of paint doesn’t warrant the high price charged for a motel

Comfy, easy access into Powell river. Much better value than town centre hotel for a nicer room and better location.

Friendly staff and well equipped rooms. A perfect place for a stop over for a couple of nights. Bed was comfy and shower good.

It was in a great location, the property matched the photos and the bed was comfortable.

It was mentioned in the booking that the parking can be challenging with some of the units and the steep drive. We had two motorbikes with us which would have been a challenge to park at Unit#2, but at check in the staff suggested/offered we park the bikes beside the office in a protected flat area-which we did. This isn’t something we ‘didn’t like’ , but it is good information for travelers.

The view was amazing. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully sufficient for our needs. Did l mention how amazing the view was?

The drive way was interesting. Very steep.

Hole in the floor..felt like we could fall through No deadbolt on the door and the battery casing kept falling off Newspaper used as a cover on the nightstand

The ocean view is wonderful and the location is convenient. The staff here are very friendly.

The location and view was superb!! The staff was very kind and helpful. I just spent one night, but the bed was clean and super comfy and the motel was close to the airport.

Just the shower curtain needed a plastic liner to avoid getting the wet floor.

Pretty crappy room. Falling apart at the seams. Not worth 180$ after tax. Super small.

The location was great and staff was helpful

There was a cook top but no pots or pans, no additional garbage bags, a dirty/used sponge to wash dishes, the body wash was empty, the hand soap in the bathroom was filled with water. Only 2 towels for 4 people even though 4 people were on the booking.

Excellent location, lovely view, air conditioning and a little kitchenette. Also the staff were super friendly and nice.

The kitchenette leaves much to be desired. Very few plates, dishes, glasses and no pots or pans. You have to go ask at the reception for each pot or pan you want to use.

Nothing to dislike other than property is built on a steep incline, but rooms were great.

Water pressure in the shower was amazing and the man at the office desk was fabulous, very nice.

Walls had visible dirt and mystery smears on them. No bath mat, so the floor got wet with water from the shower. Walls are paper thin, we could hear out neighbors well after midnight.

Rooms on a very important incline. Not for the non-sportive kind.

A very clean and functional room, with a nicely equipped kitchen area. Everything we needed for a couple of nights. Great views from the seats outside.

Some of the floor boards were a bit loose, so could cause a trip hazard. We stayed in a different room before this booking and that was fine.

It was good-it’s old is all and they’re renovating-its a cool property not a square old boring 10 storey beige dull hotel-it has character My room had some cleanliness issues with sheets-they fixed it immediately-nice staff

The location is very good, close to the harbour, to many restaurants and shops. The view from the motel over the water all the way to Vancouver Island and the nearby islands is spectacular, as are the sunsets! The kitchenette has all the necessary appliances and is well designed, easy to use. There is a good manual in the room to review the rules of the house and the use of TV, air conditioner and other electronic devices. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The driveway up to the motel units is very steep, difficult to manage for older people with some mobility problems. There is a short stairway from the street to the level of the office. There is no walk path from the office to the units and the driveway surface is uneven in parts. Rain makes it even more difficult.

This older style motel is clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable and motel is located @ 500m from the BC Ferry Terminal. Staff member was lovely.

Location was central to the main strip and the ferry terminal. The motel was basic with a retro vibe and decent views of the water.

Door had a huge gap around it when closed. Luckily the weather was perfect day and night. It was basic so don’t expect much. All cooking pots and pans need to go through the front desk. The rooms are not stocked with them.

It’s the best

We liked the appliances. We liked the shower but not the toilet much too low for seniors. We liked the TV and the comfortable bed but the bed was too close to window difficult for people to get out of on that side. Comfortable chairs and very nice table.

The room has been nicely updated with a heat pump and new windows. The beds were comfortable, the refrigerator and kitchen area great. The staff were friendly and there were well written instructions and information.

The shower was a bit tricky to use, but worked well once started. A hanging towel rack would be nice. We were surprised at the steepness of the drive to the rooms.

Comfortable and friendly!

The centrally located property offered stunning views of the coast during both sunset and sunrise. The beautifully maintained grounds added to the overall appeal.

It was still a bit chilly even after we turned on the heater.

The location is fantastic, the view is breath-taking. This property has been updated since last time I was there 4-5 years ago. It's cleaner and well managed.

Walls are thin can hear the neighbours clearly. Didn’t have shampoo and stuff not enough provided in the room n sure if we asked we would have gotten more. Minor issues really.

It was exactly what we needed for our short stay. Clean, comfortable and a beautiful view. The staff is incredible.

Horrible beds, spend most of the time awake and with back pain. Beds are old and worn out. Definitely a quick and cheap Reno. Pictures are either from the best room or best parts of many rooms. Staff seemed very unorganized during check-in and changed our room twice.

The bed/mattress was so comfortable. I have to have comfy soft bed due to my chronic pain and bed nerve damage. SO bed allowed me to sleep well. <3

The driveway was steep and you had to make sharp turn to get in the driveway.

The property was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The room was spacious, and the kitchenette was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. The location is also great and quiet.

Lovely location!

It seemed pricey for what it was.

Located in the heart of downtown Powell River, the Westview is within walking distance of all major amenities. The staff at the establishment were extremely helpful and friendly. I had to make a modification to my booking and they were there to help me every step of the way.

The rooms were large and well-appointed with appliances and equipment. The location is very convenient.

Whoever redid the floors did a really sloppy job. Our check-in experience was absolutely ridiculous and took almost 20 minutes of swapping rooms, re-filling forms, and trying to overcome an impossible language barrier. It’s funny now, but it was very frustrating and stupid in the moment.

They knew we were three people and only had towels for two. Also only two cups for drinking. Office only open after 10 am and we had to get ready for a funeral service. Pictures aren't at all like reality. Said they had a reno done but the flooring was so poorly done that it looks like they squished brown caulking into the gaps and then smeared it around. Literally looks like poo on the floor. TV remotes were taped together and didn't work. For 3 people there was hardly enough room to walk and no room for suitcases. Overall just really grungy and dilapidated. Way over priced.
