Staff were very friendly. We were the only guests in the entire resort for most of our stay. Amazing to walk off beach and snorkel with turtles.

Bed was tiny. Paint was peeling in pool.

Secluded, beautiful grounds, very welcoming & caring staff! Loved my room with balcony overlooking the ocean, with a gorgeous pool, hammocks & restaurant/bar available! Stunning sunsets! Food was great, bed was comfy, AC & shower worked well! Luxury in a very cozy feeling. Easy to get a tuk-tuk ride into town.

It was quiet and relaxing, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. The beach access was lovely and the little cafe had a good range of food.

The pool and rooms are pretty dated. Our view was onto nothing and there were flashing lights outside that were left on all night. Staff very unwilling to help if it was even five mins out of reception hours. We asked for toilet paper at 7.55 and were told to wait. We also asked if we could get a take away breakie as we were leaving for a day trip before breakfast started but were told no. This must happen quite often with so many day trips in the area. They could make breakfast earlier, or leave a bowl of cornflakes in the room with some milk and fruit.

The staff were attentive when they were there but were often off doing other things. The sun loungers were very small and uncomfortable.

Meals are average. Staff were lovely. Direct access to ocean was amazing. Snorkeling was so good and easy.

We had ocean and pool view but room walls are thin so noisy people next door were little bit of an issue. Most guests were fairly quiet. Bed was hard, but they're hard most places in Philippines.

Breakfast was ok - location great as it was close to the Main Street but nice and quite so perfect combination if you are looking to relax

La literie dans les chambres mériterait d'etre changée car nous avions un 140 peu confortable à 2 d'autant que nous sommes restés 1 semaine.

Lage perfekt um dem Trubel zu entkommen, ca 15min Fußweg zum Zentrum, Hausriff sehr schön. Frühstück sehr gut. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite junge Dame, die für das Restaurant, den Garten und die Rezeption zuständig ist, aber allgemein sehr nettes Personal. Rezeption organisiert auch Ausflüge und Transfers. Nah zum Schildkröten - Strand.

Absolutely fabulous , the spacious rooms with sea view, the greens, right on the private beach (clear, yet rocks). The family who run it are most welcoming. Perfect location near ‘centre’

Not very cozy at all. They charge like a four-star hotel for one-star services. We stayed here for three days. Upon arrival, we were surprised to learn that my eight-year-old would be charged an additional 2,000 per night, resulting in a total of 6,000 per night for a double bed and a single bed. Additionally, there are a lot of mosquitoes! If you hang your wet clothes outside, a swarm of mosquitoes gathers there within a few hours. As for the pool, I've never seen one so murky that you can't even see the bottom, even with goggles on! What’s worse is the breakfast. For a hotel charging 6,000 per night, you at least expect a decent breakfast. Unfortunately, on our first morning, we were served instant coffee, a banana, two eggs, one serving of rice, and a small dried fish—a dried fish! Not even "danggit," which Cebu is known for. We asked for more food at no charge, but our request was denied, and we ended up having to pay extra. On the second morning, the same situation occurred: one serving of rice, two eggs, and a small locally made hotdog. I will never book this resort again!

Their online advertising was good, and I liked that. Unfortunately it is a scam that cost me almost us$100.

My first clue that this was a scam was how they handle payment... While they claim on booking.com that you can prepay with a credit card, this is not true. They immediately sent me a message stating plainly that they do not allow credit card payments, and that I needed to prepay for one night via a paypal invoice. I'm not sure if this is to avoid paying proper taxes, or to make it harder to seek recourse from the payment provider. Unfortunately I agreed to pay the deposit On arrival I was presented with an entire page of legal contract with some rather unusual demands. I have never seen such a thing before. For one example: If someone comes to visit you they cannot leave the lobby... If they enter your room for even a minute you will be charged for an additional overnight guest and if you don't pay it they will charge you interest and send lawyers after you. Of course, you can't settle the rest of your bill on arrival using a credit card either... Only PayPal or cash. At this point I was so suspicious of their business that I asked to see the room before paying more (the booking was for four nights)... Note that by this point I had already paid for a full night. From here the staff became very rude, telling me that their policy forbade allowing people to even peek in the door of the room without paying for the entire stay, in cash, with no possible chance of a refund. They wouldn't even let me take a photo of the contract. Talk about huge red flags! Even when I said I would walk away and find other accommodations, they stood their ground. Fortunately for us, our driver from Mactan hadn't unloaded our bags from the car yet. He overheard the conversation and got involved, using the local language. Voices were raised and other employees arrived looking angry. The driver said we should probably leave. After leaving the property, I was able to book an alternative stay, on booking.

Jesteśmy zadowoleni z pobytu, spokój, cisza. Śniadania były bardzo dobre. Obsługa bardzo sympatyczna.

Het is een prachtig, rustige locatie. Veel mooier dan op de fotos en op loopafstand van Panagsma road. Je kan super mooi snorkelen voor het resort.

De douche is wat minder luxe. Verder geen verbeter punten!

Point négatif. La route pour rejoindre la ville est vraiment abîmé. C’est plutôt un chemin cabossé, difficile pour les tuk tuk. Le personnel est sympathique seul bémol. Un ami est venu nous rejoindre pour prendre le taxi. Il n’a pas pu nous retrouver, il a dû attendre à l’accueil, je trouve ça moyen. Un peu de souplesse dans ce monde de brutes serait bienvenu.

Fantastisch kleinschalig resort. Schone kamer met ruim balkon en warme douche. Zwembad erg lekker en als hoogtepunt prachtig snorkelen voor de deur. Erg mooi koraal als je iets dieper zwemt en een zeeschildpad gezien. 15 min lopen naar het centrum.

Ontbijt begint pas vanaf 8.00, het zou fijner zijn als het eerder begon.

L’accompte via Paypal est très contraignant et l’hotel ne se veut pas très compréhensif dans les échanges. Certains membres du personnel ne sont pas agréables et nous avons eu un problème au check in

Sitio muy auténtico y familiar. Te sientes como en casa pero en ambiente filipino. La dueña y todo el personal amabilísimo, nos atendieron de maravilla y nos dieron muy buenos consejos de qué hacer y dónde ir. Inolvidable. Las habitaciones con terraza y vistas son las mejores. Muy tranquilo. Puedes nadar en el mar, que es prácticamente privado. No es lujoso pero es muy especial. Por la noche y por la mañana los locales cogen moluscos cuando baja la marea. Cercano al pueblo pero a la vez independiente y sin ruidos. Muy aconsejable.

Posizione e tranquillità

All'arrivo l'accoglienza da parte dello staff è stata quasi inesistente. Quando le camere venivano pulite, gli asciugamani e i materiali di consumo non venivano ripristinati, si doveva andare a chiedere personalmente all'inserviente. Assurdo che non si possa far accedere alla struttura altre persone che non siano ospiti, anche solo per vedere la parte esterna della stessa. Dalle ore 20 non era presente all'interno della struttura nessuno dello staff nè per sicurezza nè per assistenza ai clienti. La stanza mancava di arredamento di base quali gli armadi, data la durata del soggiorno di circa 14 giorni sarebbe stato comodo averli. Il lavandino si trovava fuori dal bagno, nello specifico in camera.

Tolle Unterkunft etwas außerhalb des gesamten Tourismus. Dadurch ist eine gewisse Ruhe gegeben. Ein Highlight sind der Pool und der private Strandzugang. Das Personal war freundlich und es wurde täglich sauber gemacht. Panagsama Beach ist in 10-15min fußläufig zu erreichen. Die WLAN-Verbindung war in Ordnung.

Die Betten sind wirklich extremst weich. Es dürfen keine Gäste auf das Zimmer gebracht werden (betrifft sowohl Einheimische als auch andere Touristen). Es muss eine Anzahlung an die Unterkunft (Abwicklung nicht über Booking) erfolgen. Dies könnte besser kommuniziert werden.

De kamer is 'schaars' ingericht. Bij het zwembad zijn geen ligbedjes en daarom niet uitnodigend. Het ontbijt is een keuze menu wat aangekleed wordt met een beetje fruit Net als de kamer, de aankleding ook bij het zwembad, was het ontbijt, karig. Wij troffen het niet dat er 1 nacht feest was ergens in de omgeving: de hele nacht discosdreunen, maar dat was eenmalig.

Wi fi non existent. Hear everything from rooms next door very noisy. Get sea view as garden view has no view whatsoever only bushes breakfast very little choice. For the price which was over 5 thousand pesos a night you could do a lot better. It's only worth 2 thousand pesos a night at best or even stay in a hostel. The place is very outdated. Can't understand how it gets such a high review very far from the town avoid you'll do better elsewhere

We liked the staff as they made us feel very welcome. Like we we a personal guest staying. Nice and quiet with only 10 rooms, nothing was ever a que and we loved sitting on the balcony.

Quality of toilet roll ans the sunbeds we a bit small ans uncomfortable. Some better signs as we found it a little tricky to find as google maps take you to the next track

The hotel was great, cozy with a stunning view. It had everything we needed and the staff were amazing! The location was about a 10 min walk to the main part of moalboal. And the resort itself was very peaceful

The room didn’t have the best lighting, even with all the lights on it was dim. However not the worse problem

It’s located away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful landscape, ocean front, friendly staff and they were able to help booking transportation and renting a motorbike.

Sound transfer from adjacent room. The first night, guests in the room next to us were having a good time and we were exhausted from the trip and couldn’t sleep. I got earplugs and problem solve.

We loved everything about our stay at Dacozy from the location our room the facilities and all the wonderful staff We would highly recommend staying at Dacozy

Ein außergewöhnlicher Platz in Moalboal....so harmonisch, sauber, freundlich, alles, was du brauchst....wow wir haben uns so wohlgefühlt. Zimmer meerseitig zu empfehlen, das Personal extrem zuvorkommend, gutes Frühstück, tolles Service, wunderschöner Ausblick, Pool und 🌊Meer, Sehr, sehr sauber. Sehr ruhig gelegen, ca 1 km vom SardinesRun und zahlreichen Lokalen usw. Absolute top Empfehlung - würde sofort dort wieder buchen. Danke, danke

Everything was as it was expected. Room with seaview has a nice private balcony, swimming pool is good and maintained. The staff is very friendly and ready to help.

Breakfast only starts at 8AM and for almost all the tours you’re leaving before that time. So if you have breakfast included, that’s a bit of a waste

The location is just perfect. You can walk and swim to the sardine run. The staff are absolutely amazing. Just the kindest people and super sweet and helpful. The resort is an oasis.

The breakfast was a bit rough for us. They make their own bread, which is incredible, but we didn’t like the items to accompany it.

the size of the rooms

It's not that I did not like it, but more of I was disappointed that it seemed like there weren't that much rooms that were booked yet I was told they were fully booked when I asked if there was another room that I could book aside from the ones we've already booked and used.

The staff are what make this place amazing. They were always fun to be around and genuinely happy and helpful. They are well connected to the local community and found us a reliable and great tricycle driver for our day to day in town, and beach adventures. They made all the arrangements for the three different tours we went on and all three tours were the standard cost everyone pays, so no need to bargain. They made all the arrangements for transport from and to the airport. The people they connected us with were all equally great, like the drivers and tours... The property itself is very nice, clean and well maintained. It's a 10 min walk to the restaurant area and approximately 15 min walk to the sardine snorkeling area, or you can take a tricycle ride which they arranged for us when needed. The cost of this resort is worth every peso/dollar, which is beyond reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

The staff were very helpful and kept the place very neat and tidy. They organised everything requested. Access to the waterfront is easy and good for looking at the reef in low and high tide. The breakfast was reasonable and the fruit delicious.

The breakfast was so good, with lots to eat. The location was really nice. Quiet and relaxing location, but still an easy walk to town and lots of restaurants. The grounds are immaculate and having a pool was a great bonus. Had fun snorkeling just offshore. We really enjoyed our stay!

It was a lovely, quiet resort - very peaceful. Views out over the sea were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located about 15minute walk/short tuktuk ride from Panagsama Road where there are lots of bars and restaurants.

Very peaceful and quiet. Clean and spacious rooms. Temperature of air conditioner and showers can be controlled. Easy access to service ( drinking ) water. Comfy and relaxing hammocks. Beautiful, manicured grounds. Attentive staff. Pool very clean. Great location. Less than a km walk into town with great selection of restaurants. Staff very pleasant, accommodating & helpful with local tours, ( but you have to ask for suggestions - not advertised). Glad I asked!

Selection of food in restaurant. Simple menu. Fans would help in restaurant if there’s no breeze, can be be very warm in covered area. And fans help with mosquitoes.

Lovely property right on the sea - we swam out with our snorkels and saw 5 turtles, it was incredible. The room was lovely and spacious and it was great to be away from the busy town.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool area, it was lovely and peaceful. The snorkelling was great, although no sandy beach area but the grass made up for it.

The breakfast options were quite basic but it did the job.

It was a very intimate, peaceful experience. Very clean and fantastic view. Pool open 24/7 and virtually had our own personal chef for menu items

Can't enjoy breakfast with all of the smokers. We parked our car sideways for a few minutes to get changed in an empty parking lot and the staff comes to our room telling us to move our car straight in and out - why? Too far to walk into town with the restaurants and there is no beach here. Walls are paper thin. All of the activities in town are water based and they won't provide you with towels or permit you to take your towels with you - who travels with towels? You can't sit at the outside tables and eat your own snacks unless you pay them a fee, and there's only a few guests at this place - you have to sit in the pool to eat with no tables. This is definitely not a resort by any stretch of the imagination. I've stayed at many resorts where the staff tries to accomodate you, but here you have to accomodate the staff. And the booking process was the most convoluted I've ever encountered - I paid in full through booking.com, then started getting ever increasingly nasty emails from the resort telling me to pay them directly. I now have to go through bank and credit card statements to see if I was charged twice for this stay. There are so many better options in the area to stay at, and there is a lot of availability throughout town where you don't have to pre-book it appears.

A long walk out of town. The beach is sharp coral. Pool is uninviting-no shade, no lounge chairs. Room was fine, cleaned daily. Breakfast was good.

We were disappointed with the service after our check-out. Since our flight was scheduled late in the evening, we asked to leave our luggage at the reception for a few hours, as is common practice in most hotels. Unfortunately, this was refused with no alternative offered. It really complicated our day. Additionally, since breakfast only starts at 8 a.m., we requested something to take away at 7 a.m., as most activities begin earlier than that. Once again, our request was denied, and we were only offered a banana. It’s a shame, because everything else in Moalboal went well, but this lack of flexibility and consideration for travelers left a negative impression.

Hotel is so nice, clean and personal is so kind. I'd recommend it. Bring some insect repellent to use at night. I thought the hotel would have a larger portion of beach, event though the view from the terrace/restaurant is beautiful. The only thing I think could be improved is part of the bathroom/shower space: when you take a shower it is easy to get all the bathroom floor wet, also it would be nice to have more than 1 toilet paper roll available in the room. It is easy and fast to get to the Malboal's restaurants or bars from the hotel, even walk distance, un unless it is raining.
