Hotel Heritage Inn at Assi Ghat

The overall experience was amazing. From early check-in to food to cleanliness everything was on point. The breakfast buffet spread was good, variety was quite good. We traveled with kids and did not fave any issue. Mr Abhijit, Mr Vikas, Mr Vishnu all the men at reception were very supportive. Even our travel partner Mr. Aakash Pandey took all the effort to take us to each and every corner of Varanasi. Thanks for the help and you are doing great.

The property is clean and the staff is very courteous. Vikas ji helped us with discounts for room upgrade and he was polite. Overall it was a great stay.

It seems some fraud. The hotel was already full although booking .com confirmed my reservation. The phone number of property is wrong as registered on the booking.com website. So it was a long harassment for my family in morning.

We stayed 3 nights in family room in Hotel Heritage. This really nice hotel with very close proximity to Assi Ghat in Banaras. The rooms are clean and very confy beds. We really liked our stay and would recommend Hotel Heritage any time.

Good location close to the ghats, quiet surroundings. Very nice room. During our stay the messy reception area was being renovated with workers and building material all over the place, dust and deafening noise. Once finished the "new" reception will be very nice.

You need to improve your message routines and paper flow: Please only send relevant messages (no new confusing requests for pre-payment if you already have recieved what you need months ago). In the reception you need to keep better track on what (restaurant bills, laundry etc) is already paid cash and what should be paid at check-out.

Были в январе 1 ночь. Расположение отеля очень удачное-до асси гат 5 минут и там вечерний аарти, также к отелю подьезжает такси и не нужно никуда нести чемоданы по узким улочкам. Предоставили трансфер, отвечали на все вопросы. Организовали лодку и могут предоставить гида и любую экскурсию. Номер чистый, просторный, горячая вода, чайник. На 5-м этаже ресторан. Я в Индии уже 7 дней и здесь ела самую вкусную еду за все время, хоть и вегетарианскую.Очень советую и ресторан и отель. Приятные, хорошие люди. Все было очень хорошо!

The property is good and very well located . However there was a construction going on and it was very inconvenient. Elevator was not working and it was increasingly difficult with my mother to climb . To compensate the same they arranged a complimentary dinner for the in house guest . Rooms were clean and decent .

Liked the location because of its proximity to Assi Ghat. This isn't the first time I stayed at the property and I have always liked the behavior of staff in general.

The room key wasn't working and spent a considerable time calling up and getting the key issue resolved, only to experience the same issue resurface. The room TV wasn't working either and had to call the reception before it was fixed.

They are thieves… Don’t book this hotel… they charge different from different people. No value for money.

The location

The booked room was supposed to be having a large king size bed but I was given a room with two single bed. The size was a lot uncomfortable for me.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was neat and clean. They organised a good guide for us. We enjoyed our stay.

Really not actually disliking but restaurant services need to improve as it is bit slow and very limited breakfast variety.

The Hotel room, ambience , restaurant food and other amenities were very good. All the staffs, Specially Brijesh ji were very cooperative, prompt and well behaved. Will surely be coming back here on our next trip to Varanasi.

Hotel management lack proper communication, not sure if it’s a language barrier . They did not give clear information regarding a few things .. Location is just ok , there are no good restaurants or other shopping places near the hotel ..

I booked it for 3nights and a day prior to my checking date i got a call from manager for the confirmation regarding my booking and i told him that my booking is confirmed and I’ll be there at 4PM. On the day of my booking i again got call from hotel manager and i said I’ll be there in an hour. As soon as I reached at hotel he said theres no such booking under my name and then said u had made up the whole confirmation mail by urself. Then he said we never talked about the bookings on call, then he said we don’t have the room which I’ve booked and there’s only 1 room available for INR 5500 per night, and the bookings that i made was for INR 3800 for a night, After all this arguments he left and went to his office and was making fun with his guys and having his tea. Then i asked him to call his GM but he started mocking us and was being abusive.

I spent there 3 nights, and left to catch my train but it was delayed for 1 day, so I returned back to the hotel to reserve just one night. They welcomed us, and upgraded our room without any extra fees.. it was a very respectful action especially i was traveling alone with my kids.. Really a very nice and good team and we enjoyed our staying there.

We had an extremely comfortable stay. The room was excellent and the food was delicious. The management of the hotel were extremely professional and took care of the itinerary of our trip. We could also see the Ganges from the terrace of the hotel.

Totally avoid this dump. Booking.com's description is completely false, the Hotel is not "At" Assi Ghat at all, not even within walking distance. There is construction all over, NO hot water at all, AC turned off randomly, the same dry/cold breakfast every day, dumb staff, etc.

No hot water. You have to ask again and again for hot water. Finally, they gave immersion rod for water heating. Pathetic wifi connection, hardly worked during my stay. Frequent power cuts We had to remind several times daily for room Cleaning. Inspite of this, the bed was not made.

Bad Location, bad staff. Service was very poor. We booked a family room and we were given two tiny rooms with twin sharing beds. No housekeeping service was there. Worst stay so far.

The location is excellent. I could see the Ganges view from the top floor. The rooms, the food at the restaurant at the top floor and the hospitality by the the Hotel Owner Ravi was very comforting. Would definitely give a visit next time.

My parents were there for a leisure trip, they can not stop praising the staff, facilities and location, everything was phenomenal, I would like to thank the hotel for making my parents stay wonderful and taking care of them (senior citizens), i had booked it online and was worried about the facilities but the feedback from my parents was that everything is great at this hotel !!

Location was very good. The rooms were neat and clean. Staff were awesome. The service was excellent.

The Hotel don't have the Hot and cold water facility together. Either we get Cold water in all taps or Hot water in all taps which is pathetic. Because of this even though we woke up at 5.30 am, our tour didn't go as planned and we got delayed by one or 2 hours. We had to wait in the bathroom for the water.
