The room was very dark The hotel was short staffed Bicycles they offered were in bad conditions, braked hardly worked and gears didn’t change Did not get what we expected.

Bedroom was on the small side-but perfectly formed, pillows needed to be upgraded as little life left in them

Nice place, small rooms, great staff (including a very sweet young lady who was so nice), and didn’t have as many problems parking as I anticipated.

Look, everything is overpriced in Nantucket…but comparatively, it was ok priced.

The room.waa immaculate, breakfast pastrues etc were delicious, homemsde cookies at noght were a surprise treat. Our luggage was stored for us before check-in time so we could move around downtown comfortably. The living room was sweet and the little porch in the backyard was a peaceful retreat.

The bathroom waa clean, but tiny. It was also tough to do your hair and make up due to no counter space and no dresses.

This was a lovely place to stay. Our room (212) was small but well appointed and tastefully decorated. The continental breakfast choices were first class and the fire 🔥 pit outside was a beautiful place to spend the evening chatting to other guests. Can't speak highly enough of this place and the extremely helpful staff.

We loved that we were able to go to the nearby location and sit on their patio since ours did not have a patio.

The Hotel is beautiful and the staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The complementary snacks, drinks and breakfast were delicious. We will definitely be back to visit again. Perfect vacation!

Beautiful location overlooking the harbor and the rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Also the service was exceptional. Breakfast is continental but there’s lots of options from cereal to yogurt to muffins to fruit. And of course coffee. Alicia baked cookies every day in the afternoon that my husband loved. She made a point of reminding us when the cookies were to be fresh from the oven.

Some low-level humming from the bathroom which I assume was due to the heater. We were there over Christmas.

The location is great. The hotel and facilities were great. The front desk staff were amazingly friendly and helpful

My only criticism is the room was very small but even that wasn’t too bad.

Breakfast every morning was perfect and just enough options. It made getting going for the day easy and comfortable.

Two things that really did not take much away from our otherwise exceptional stay. The pillows in the room were a little soft and I realize the room was a bit small for it, but a small chair even in the room would have made getting shoes on to go or sit and read easier on our aging joints than sitting on the platform bed. But they are again very small issues for us.

Excellent location. Staff upgraded my accomodations when I arrived because they had extra rooms in adjacent location.

Parking could be a problem but staff gave me special parking.

We have a late check in, and not a great welcoming at this time. But the day after the staff was very friendly. We were in the Veranda house so nice and historic. We enjoyed our stay of 1 night. The lobby is beautiful and offers some snacks at anytime. The breakfast is perfect. Our room and our bed were pretty tiny, until the bathroom was nice ad spacious, but this is an old house. To my opinion the price is too high, but it is Nantucket.

Pet accommodations were amazing! Rooms were super clean and beds were so comfortable! We loved the availability of bicycles, also.

Was essentially a rooming house. Great location, friendly staff. The Veranda House 2 blocks away had more options for drinks, snacks, breakfast, etc. Thought I was booking Veranda House but apparently the "Sherburne" rooms are in a house 2 blocks away. Still nice.

Perfect location, clean and comfortable though the property needs a few cosmetic upgrades.

Beautiful old house well kept. Handrails on back staircase is my only suggestion.

Beautiful spot! Everything was wonderful.

It’s a nice resort good location… which features several properties around the main building. The main thing for us being an older couple was we were put on the third floor with no elevator in the building. The young receptionist offered to take our luggage up… but we said we would try to manage. We would not do this again. I feel we should have been offered a room on a lower level.

We paid for an upgrade to our room, the screen door to the balcony was completely broken. We were on the third floor, and the elevator had an expired inspection, and when I brought it to the management attention, they texted me back siting "issues with being on an island". The place burned down a few years ago, you would think they would be more vigilant? With so many options on island; this one can be missed.

Right from check-in the balcony door key did not function… Sam stated it would be taken care of & it never was, first night the folks above us from 10:30-11:15 were crazy loud, we called front desk left message and over 24 hours later addressesd this with front desk (Jillian). They seemed somewhat but never any action to resolve. At 4:00 the next morning a woman ran down the stairs hysterical crying. On the third night is was noisy again above us. On the 4th night a gentleman was outside yelling Betty Miller for 3 ish hours. Finally, the cops come and wow who knows what happened. Besides all this the pillows are awful. We stay in many many hotels and never have had such a poor experience. Although Nantucket is beautiful and we still had a nice vacation/birthday, this has left a very poor lasting impression of Nantucket Resort Hotels.

The staff was so accommodating, the rooms were clean and comfortable! Love the location! I will be back , they made Nantucket easy and inviting !

Appreciated the rise to the ferry. The lobby was nice, fireplace, games. Lived the canned water. Did not need towels changed daily. Recycling was not well demarcated. Great location.

The location, the staff and the rooms were beautiful! Their continental breakfast in the morning was fabulous! I would highly recommend this property!

Great location and friendly staff. Free bikes and ability to visit and use the facilities of their other three locations.

Very clean and quaint facility. Rooms were quite small and the bathroom was tiny. Staff was friendly. We had an enjoyable stay.

Close to shops, sights and restaurants!

We had the best stay- staff was attentive- the bed was exquisite- we would stay here again

Wonderful and charming place! Easy to walk everywhere from there. We ended up not renting any bikes or cars because it was so doable on foot. We had the best time.

Our stay was great but beware of the room type when you purchase. We selected the Chapman Queen and ended up in a Petite Queen. We were able to switch our room on the 2nd night which was much bigger than the first night. Fantastic location and would definitely stay there again.

Our room was very small which was not a problem, but the aircon unit was positioned so it blew directly on our faces in bed making it very uncomfortable. The second night we slept with the aircon off and the window open. Also, the floor of the room had a slope which meant the bed had a slope too 😂. If I stayed again I would ask not to have a room on the first (ground) floor. The hotel itself is perfectly located and was lovely, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Drinks and snacks were also available throughout the day.

Breakfast was very basic and that is fine but a little more fresh fruit or pastries.

the in room amenities could have had more selection to an in room snack.

The inn was beautiful, clean, & well kept. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries that were amazing with delicious coffee. Snacks & beverages were available 24/7. Staff was attentive when needed. Location was great, easy 2-3 minute walk into town. Highly recommend.

We loved this hotel. The atmosphere and staff were lovely, the bed comfortable, breakfast simple but yummy, lots of amenities, and we loved the location, being close to the main part of town yet a little out of the way, so in a quiet neighborhood. The only negative was that the room was a little small - not the purported 250 sf., more like 200 sf, at most.

The location was perfect. Close to the main part of town. The decor and furnishings were beautiful. Loved the access to beach chairs and bikes.

It was a bit pricey but a great deal for Nantucket.

Bed is super comfortable. Lots of chipped paint in the bathroom. Chipped vanity mirror. For $850 a night these things should be taken care of

Location was ideal situated right in the heart of town.

Everything was nice but nothing particularly special. Breakfast was minimalist.

The location was perfect, walking distance to town. The breakfast is great continental. The community space is really convenient we were traveling with family and we used the screened in living area alot. Also there is outside seating with a firepit. They also have water, juice and snacks available all day..chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon.

There were loud guests by the fire pit until around 3am. Multiple attempts to reach someone at the property to ask them to move were not responded to. Ruined an otherwise good stay because of no sleep the last night.

Excellent! Yes, it’s pricey but there’s perks! Absolutely worth it.

The property is conveniently located, only a couple blocks from shopping, the Whaling Museum and restaurants. The fire pit offered a relaxing place to meet fellow guests. Delicious breakfast! The availability of coffee and other beverages and snacks all day long was greatly appreciated. Comfortable and handsome room. Super friendly and accommodating staff.

The staff was excellent...polite, friendly, accommodating! The breakfast, for what is advertised as a "continental breakfast" is outstanding.

So happy the Veranda hotel has rebuilt. It is out new favorite hotel on the island. Rooms are beautiful and location is unbeatable. Just loved it. View was lovely and breakfast very good.
