Good location and friendly staff

Air conditioning did not function and no hot water - to be fair - we didn’t report it to staff as first day seemed fine but both failed on our last night. We informed them at check out - but obviously nothing they could do about it then.

Está hermoso. Te transportas al pasado y sientes q estás en casa de tu abuela. Aunque no son las instalaciones más cómodas, el trato del personal se lo lleva por 1000!!!

Al estar justo en el centro el ruido del bar en la noche molestó un poco…

Absence of hot water and extreme levels of street and park noise, nonstop.

Excellent historic property with very tasteful room decorations and very clean. Far preferable to any chain hotels in this town . Very nice staff who handled issues that rose with hot water for one room very well.

Room was beautiful, extremely comfortable bed, VERY spacious and super quiet. For being right in the central part of town with bars surrounding the hotel you couldn't hear a thing. I believe they recently updated the soundproofing on the windows. The hotel is incredibly charming and well decorated. The staff is super friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The breakfast was quite bad, perhaps the worst chilaquiles I've ever eaten. We refused breakfast all together for the remaining 6 days of our stay.

Leaking A/C contributing to extensive ceiling mold. Bathroom sliding door non functional. Unusable shower/tub due to extremely low levels of water pressure and high levels of dirt. Shower hardware disabled. No chairs on balcony. Dirty surfaces, the room had not been cleaned for some time. Light bulbs burned out, no replacement. Drapes in disrepair and non functional. Unable to view any outside features. Refused breakfast service due to "event," despite advertised sign in lobby. After showing these defects in the room, Manager-On-Duty offered a only a cup of coffee as compensation and became hostile to our complaints. We have supporting photos available to document these deficiencies.

We were really disappointed in this hotel all the way around. The room smelled bad -- not a sewer kind of smell in the bathroom that is somewhat common in Mexico - the entire room smelled bad - like a dirty diaper. There are two bars that stay open very late and play music so loudly that you can feel the pulsation (bass) in your body while you are trying to sleep. One bar is adjacent to the hotel. The other bar is directly across the street. It was like a battle of the bands --- really bad bands too. Also, we stored our luggage after checkout and the front desk *offered* to reserve a taxi for us at a specific time. Evidently they forgot to make the arrangements; after 40 minutes of waiting while they claimed several times the driver was 5 minutes away we lucked into flagging down a taxi ourselves. If our bus had been on time we would have missed it. I rarely write bad reviews, but I feel like this is necessary so other travelers don't have the same awful experience. I do NOT know how this hotel has received the rating they have on Booking.

The location is one of the best if your plan is to visit places close to the downtown.

There is no parking available, you need to find a parking lot by yourself.

El mejor hotel boutique del centro de Aguascalientes sin duda , la arquitectura del lugar te lleva al pasado , sumado a esto el excelente trato que recibí por todo su personal !

Staff were very friendly, when we arrived we were treated with a coffee. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had a little tray with chocolates. The hotel is in a good location. The roof terrace is nice and offers a good view.

El baño tiene mucho hongo (moho) en varias partes, oxido en la taza del baño, el jacuzzi es muy pequeño y estaba muy sucio y con hongos y suciedad visibles por todos lados, desagradable pensar bañarse ahi, y menos en entrar descalzo, el jacuzzi era el diferenciador de la master suite y resultó ser lo peor, casi imposible encontrar donde estacionarse, los estacionamiento a la redonda no tienen pensión para la noche y es peligroso dejar el auto en la calle si es que encuentran lugar.

Great location. Loved the history and decor of the hotel which is family operated. We were warmly welcomed by Owners and Staff who made sure we had everthing we needed. Daily water was much appreciated. Secure building. Such a lovely experience compared to staying in a modern hotel. Thankyou for a lovely stay!

The owners are wonderful people that listen to what you want and DELIVER! Great location and the breakfast on my private balcony was perfection. Thank you to all the staff for making this an amazing stay!! Anything you need just ask!

There is no parking, overnight parking is down the street, and it costs extra.

I booked this hotel for my father and he loved it. He had a lovely suite at this location, with a big bedroom, living room and bathroom. It was beautifully decorated and the staff took very good care of him during his stay. You can't beat the location!

Excellent service

Nice location, old pretty building, right by a lovely park.

Our first room smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. So bad that we could not stay in it. We had payed extra for this slightly larger room and were not offered a partial refund when we moved to a smaller room that did not smell. The rest of the rooms were outdated. It was very loud as almost all rooms are on the large foyer you walk into. Lots of echos and doors slamming. AC didn’t work, though we hardly needed it because the old building kept it fairly cool. A little too warm at night though. Some of the front desk staff were friendly, others would not make eye contact. No one was very helpful.
