Jenn and her staff were such lively people, friendly, helpful, and accommodating! Breakfast was one of our best om the WHW!

Sehr gutes Frühstück und individuell zubereitet. Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gute Küche. Man sollte besser im voraus ein Tisch reservieren weil das Restaurant ist sehr gefragt. Zimmer liebevoll gestattet doch etwas klein.

Hier scheint man leider nicht in jeder Ecke zu putzen und das Badezimmer ist etwas klein.

Gute Lage für WHW. Grosse Auswahl für Frühstück.

Empfang war unfreundlich, danach dann besser. Keine Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleider außer Schrank zum Aufhängen.

No sleep due to the band playing until midnight. Would not have stayed there if I knew that would have happened

Room was very tired and had water stains all Over the ceiling. Shower door was loose and bathroom wasn’t in the best repair. Our room overlooked the beer garden and as the window had to be open for ventilation and to keep the room cool, all the smoke from the smokers drifted up into our room. This made the room stink of cigarettes and horrible for non smokers to breathe in. Was also very noise late into the night and from very early in the morning- which we understand as it it’s a pub, but not a restful place to stay

The location was in a great place for West Highland Hiking and the south area of Loch Lomand.

There is a very active bar downstairs and our room window was right above the outdoor area which can be smoky and a bit loud. But we understand those things.

Our hostess was very nice, she took care of everything we needed. Good was also good, though I'm wondering if maybe we should have looked fore other options in the area. Though we have no complaints.

Wonderful pub accomodation right in the middle of the village. Wonderful food and the best chips we have ever had. Great breakfast included too. Staff were fabulous too. So helpful as we needed to leave our bags as we arrived early. Will definitely be back.

Ubytování v centru vesničky. Vše čisté a hezky uklizené. Personál velmi milý a nápomocný. Snídaně bohatá, podává se v hospůdce přímo v hotelu.

Trochu nás odrazovalo trochu nevkusné zařízení pokoje, ale to je pouze náš dojem, někomu se to naopak může zamlouvat.

Location is good . Great bar and restaurant service. Although the rooms are small they are decent in terms of cleanliness and level of comfort.

Bathrooms are a little cramped, better quality towels would be nice.

The staff were great and accommodating, they did us a packed lunch instead of breakfast as we had an early start. Very nice it was too!

Thought it was a bit overpriced in comparison to other places in Drymen, car park across the road a bit inconvenient but understand.

Posizione molto comoda. Staff estremamente gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo cenato lì e la cucina è veramente formidabile. In più davanti c'è un supermercato e lì vicino un ampio parcheggio. Ci torneremmo molto volentieri.

Unico punto negativo le scale non sono molto pratiche per salire e scendere con le valigie.

Zimmer gut, kleines Badezimmer. Abendessen sehr gut. Bestes Pie ever. Frühstück auch sehr gut!

This was a great stop along the West Highland Way. It was quite comfortable, had a nice set up of tea in the room, and has a bar and restaurant downstairs with some great fare! The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the wifi worked great!

Tiny room, awful camp beds, poor mismatched decor, old furniture, and worst of all the noise from the band downstairs made it feel like we were sitting on the drums, the walls were actually shaking. We were not warned about this and staff were quite rude and dismissive when we asked about it. It was basically we have your money now, what are you gonna do.

Perfect location for walking the RRW. The room was good with tea and coffee. The Venison Lasagne was fabulous.

We couldn’t get the key code to work on the external door but they let us in.

The major item to point out is the size of the room. At the very top, we had a suite consisting of two separate rooms with a double bed and two singles. This meant a huge amount of space to spread out after walking the West Highland Way. The welcome from the staff was excellent and we felt right at home. Food was very good, simple food but well cooked and presented. We added a couple of drinks for a full evening. The whole hotel was well presented and appointed and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

It was an expensive stay so be prepared, but it was worth it compared to other hotels offering less.

Good location for walking the West Highland Way

They had a karaoke on the night we were staying, we weren’t made aware prior to the booking. Would be good for an overnight stay but not recommended for walkers wanting a good nights sleep. Bathroom cramped with black grout in the shower. Small and basic for the price we paid

Great location, lovely old pub which has been modernised but keeps a welcoming friendy atmosphere. Staff were very helpful. Food is great with an interesting selection of dishes using a bit of imagination. Comfy bed.

The room was too small for two big suitcases to open fully. And it was quite noisy from the restaurant/bar downstairs.

Pizza for both of us for tea, excellent and the breakfast was fab, the scrambled egg with salmon was beautiful. The Guinness was very creamy and excellent.

The staff were very friendly and happy to help. They gave a warm welcome after the first leg of the West Highland Way and I felt very comfortable at the inn. The room was very nicely decorated and had tea, coffee etc, and the dinner in the restaurant was excellent. It is well situated in the village and there was an overall pleasant atmosphere. I would stay here again.

Room is very compact. Parking is at a space across and away from the inn so not recommended if you have alot of luggage. Service is great, very friendly and their full Scottish breakfast was delicious.

Locatie, eten, gezelligheid. En voor ons als motor rijder mochten we onze motor op het terras links naast de kroeg parkeren ipv verderop op een openbare parkeerplaats. 😉

Alles was verder prima, maar wij hadden kamer 5 met het raam direct naar de grote afzuigkap van de keuken, met als gevolg dat we om 6 uur klaar wakker waren😳

Central in the village.

Room was tiny, but clean. The shower and bathroom had a lot of black mould, we were there for only one night so I decided not to use the shower. The reviews I had read raved about the breakfast; the one we had was cremated. Pudding inedible. Egg burnt around the edges. Sausages almost black. Mushrooms looked almost desiccated they were so over cooked, potato scone like a frisbee. The bacon and beans were the only edible things on the plate.

the evening meal was really good, we enjoyed the quiz night in the bar. the breakfast was excellent. the rooms and bathrooms were small but very cosy and adequate for our one night stay. the staff were really helpful and very friendly.
