Charming, beautiful view of the water from our room, quiet town, not touristy and convenient.

Loud church bells frequently ringing throughout the night.

Location

They would not serve dinner on one day as they were booked. The sauna and jacuzzi was not working and we had reserved this hotel for the same. They should have compensated for it not working.

Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und das Mobiliar bräuchte dringend etwas Renovierung. Die Betten sind sehr hart „gepolstert“. Leider.

可能是房子太古老了吧，浴室和厕所很老旧，房间的地板走起来嘎吱作响。阳台有点小，坐下来总觉得有点危险。

Hervorragende Lage direkt am See mit schöner schattiger Restaurantterrasse. Das Gebäude verströmt den Charme vergangener Zeiten, vertrüge aber hier und da eine sanfte Modernisierung.

A nice, quiet alternative to staying in Luzern, Weegis is a 40 minute boat ride across the lake. The hotel sits five minutes walking from the dock. An older property, it still maintains some of its charm. The public areas are a little run down, but the rooms are scrupulously clean and comfortable. The staff is charming and helpful - a particular nod to the manager, and some of the most conscientious housekeeping I’ve ever seen. The room was immaculate. Decent breakfast, with limited choices, but all good.

Hoteling in the age of climate change... The property doesn’t have air-conditioning in 27-28c heat. Yes, you can open the windows, however, there is a large church across the street that insists on peeling its impressive bells every fifteen minutes, 24/7. An added, ear-splitting, Angelus occurs around 0700, as if to ensure you’re not dozing off after a sleepless night. The manager said they’ve been trying to deal with this issue for years, but religious freedoms ensure that the heavenly symphony continues unabated. Indeed, they were told that the church could play, non-stop, were it so inclined. The staff was nice enough to provide us with a fan. An otherwise pleasant experience was marred by an inability to cool the room without opening the windows, and a wall of sound at fifteen minute intervals.

Location in front of the sea. The restaurant and terrace were great.

La gentillesse et la bonne humeur du personnel , la qualité du restaurant , le buffet du petit-déjeuner , la superbe terrasse , la literie un peu dure mais bien , l’emplacement , la tranquillité et la vue incroyable. Nous avions une chambre au 4 eme étage. Débarcadère , bus , téléphérique à proximité .

Chambre au style un peu vieillot, nous a surprise au début de notre séjour. Finalement , Elle a quand même un certain charme, si on aime les meubles en bois peints. La salle de bain aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement. La porte de la chambre 442 très basse, mon mari devait se baisser pour entrer. ( ça nous a fait rire ) Manque une petite barrière de sécurité à la fenêtre qui est basse aussi. Un petit frigo dans la chambre serait un avantage. Peu de place de parc.

Prachtige locatie! Fantastisch uitzicht.

Erg gehorig (binnen het hotel, kerkklokken ook in de nacht, naburig hotel). Geen verduisterende gordijnen. Voor €280,- voor een nacht met verwacht dan vergaande glorie. Zo ook op de kamer, toe aan renovatie. Stoelen stof doorgesleten, enz. Niet ideaal met baby en lichte slapers. Komen niet meer terug.

Great location , bus stop just outside the hotel & ferry terminal a short walk . Great view of the lake from our room balcony . Excellent terrace to enjoy meals or drinks. Good choice restaurants close by. There is only about 5 parking spaces at the hotel , but not far away there is a 2 story carpark & the top floor is open so great for motorhomes . 8 CHF per day.

On our last night I booked a table on the terrace for our wedding anniversary , but the waiter was hopeless ! He was a very friendly young man who enjoyed chatting to everyone but had no focus on his job. He would make a great salesman but not a waiter. We sat down at 7pm but didn`t eat until 9pm as he forgot to put our order into the chef. Another waiter , a young man with short hair at the sides had to take over at times as he noticed we were not happy .

Wij hebben 1 nacht hier geslapen op doorreis onderweg naar Italië en vonden het fantastisch, doordat je aan het meer zit heb je meteen vakantie gevoel als je tijdens het ontbijt de bergen en het meer ziet.

Jammer dat er geen airco was maar de ventilator deed gelukkig goed zijn werk.

De locatie aan het meer was super, terras was mooi gelegen aan het water

Het hotel viel heel erg tegen. Het was allemaal oude meuk, de kamer, de badkamer, de vloerbedekking overal oud en behoorlijk smerig. Geen 3 sterren waard

La taille de la chambre était très correcte et la vue sur le lac était vraiment magnifique. Le fait d'avoir eu un emplacement de parking pendant tout le séjour a été un vrai plus.

Le petit-déjeuner pourrait être un peu amélioré. le restaurant de l'hôtel est vraiment très cher. La petite plage privée est très agréable, même si elle manque un peu de transats.

Die Lage und das Service und Frühstück.

Für uns war es eine Enttäuschung. Die Zimmer sind alt und ungemütlich. Da es im Sommer extrem sehr heiß, hatten wir keine Klimaanlage sondern hatten ein billiges Ventilator, die kaum Abkühlung brachte. Zudem fehlte ein kleines Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher in unserem Zimmer. Das absolute Tiefpunkt unseres Urlaubes war die Dame an der Rezeption. Sie war extrem unfreundlich zu uns. Noch bevor ich meine Frage aussprechen wollte, unterbrach sie mich immer mit "Nein". Zu allem hieß es einfach pauschal Nein. Besonders schockiert hat uns ihr Umgang mit anderen Menschen: als eine chinesische Touristen versehentlich in den Servicebereich betrat, wurde sie von der Rezeptionistin in einem völlig bösen Ton beschimpft: "Nein, hier geht man nicht rein". Diese Frau sollte dringend lernen, wie professionell und respektvoll mit Gästen umgeht.

Top Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es hat einen besonderen Charme. Man fühlt sich manchmal in eine andere Zeit versetzt - im positiven Sinne!

Excellent location with direct access to the lake. The team was very accommodating, especially the housekeeping and restaurant staff. It was genuinely lovely to see such friendly, smiling young people working so hard to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. A special thanks to Clara for her warm hospitality and kindness throughout my stay.

There were no insect screens on the windows, so too many flies came into the room at night. The rooms were also very basic in terms of amenities, with essentially nothing provided apart from a hairdryer. One of the older members of staff was quite unfriendly and rude, which negatively affected the experience. Another issue was the hotel’s lake access. Non-hotel guests were regularly using the hotel’s ladder to enter and exit the lake, apparently because there was no ladder on the adjacent public side. As a result, many people were walking through the hotel guest area and around my sunbed and personal belongings to use the access. Nothing happened, of course, but it was still uncomfortable and created an unnecessary sense of concern about leaving personal belongings unattended.

Un merveilleux petit hôtel à Weggis au bord du lac de Lucerne. Nous avons adoré notre séjour! Le personnel est incroyablement sympathique, chaleureux et attentionné. On se sent rapidement comme à la maison. Les chambres ont un cachet absolument incroyable avec beaucoup de charme. C’est le genre d’endroit qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. L’hôtel possède un petit restaurant avec une superbe terrasse extérieure directement au bord de l’eau, offrant une vue extraordinaire sur le lac et les montagnes. Il y a également une très belle terrasse avec des divans, parfaite pour prendre un verre et profiter pleinement de l’endroit. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, avec beaucoup de choix et une très belle variété. Tout était frais et délicieux. Une magnifique découverte que nous recommandons sans hésitation. Un endroit paisible, chaleureux et idéal pour profiter de la beauté de Weggis et du lac de Lucerne. Nous y retournerions avec grand plaisir! 🇨🇭❤️

Very kind and helpful staff. The lady at the reception gave us instructions on how to get to Rigi. The lake was amazing, had an incredible morning swim.

The breakfast offer could be a bit better.

Wenn Sie ein Hotel mit Atmosphäre suchen, mit Charme und Geschichte, dann sind Sie hier richtig. Nicht alles ist perfekt hier, aber alles ist gepflegt, sauber, und atmet Geschichten. Das Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet.

Fan didn’t work and it was super hot. Many electrical outlets didn’t work. Sheets were dirty with other people’s hair which is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and for sure weren’t replaced!! HUGE amount of other people’s hair on the bathroom floor the minute we entered the room. Told the receptionist that the fan didn’t work at check out and she told me- we’ll I guess that won’t help you but will the next guests. Very unpleasant

Die Dusche sollte erneuert oder mit speziellen Reinigern bearbeitet werden. ( Schwarze Flecken in den Fugen) . Das Personal ist sehr freundlich jedoch fehlt es an Engagement. Man wartet sehr lange bevor jemand reagiert. Die Dame beim Frühstück war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

The location of the hotel was great, right on the lake with a great view. It has a typical old style hotel feeling, no electronic keys for instance. The staff was wonderfull and very helpfull.

It was very hot and there was no airco which led to poor sleeping despite a small fan. Also the bed matress is a spring type and unfortunately not too comfortable for me personally. Would have been nice to have a minibar/fridge to keep some drinks cool.

Das Hotel, insbesondere die Zimmer, ist renovierungsbedürftig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt daher aus meiner Sicht nicht. Vor allem im Sommer kann ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen, da es keine Klimaanlage gibt und die Zimmer aufgrund der veralteten Fenster etc. unerträglich heiß werden. Wir hatten Zimmer im 3. und 4. Obergeschoss.

可以坐在湖邊吃早餐，感覺很悠閒浪漫！飯店旁就是車站及遊船碼頭乘船處，距離Coop走路10分鐘，推薦👍

Lovely hotel with lakeside location. The room was large and beds comfortable. No air con as the building is very old but that didn't spoil our stay. The staff were all happy and welcoming. There is access to swim in the lake just outside the hotel. Breakfast was perfect.

Nothing at all. Very much enjoyed our stay.

die Zimmer sind doch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen bzw. das ganze Hotel, es ist einfach alles sehr, sehr alt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war eher einfach, nicht viel Auswahl. Kaffeemaschine war teils defekt, Cappuccino und co. nicht möglich

L'endroit est juste magnifique, nous avions vue sur le lac , les lits sont très confortables, très bon petit déjeuner, emplacement idéal pour point de départ pour les visites.

Das Zimmer ist renovationsbedürftig. Die Möbel sind sehr alt. Betten ok. Gefährliche Schwelle im Badezimmer (nein, ich bin nicht uralt)

L hotel est situé au bord du lac. Il possede un restaurant / salle de dejeuner en terrasse sur le lac. Quelques chaises longues sont proposées mais le seul accès a l eau est une petite échelle. Il y a une petite plage publique a distance de marche. La chambre est spacieuse. Parking gratuit devant l hotel (places limitées)

La salle de bain est tres petite et non rénovée. Elle semblait propre mais il y avait de nombreuses traces de moisissure dans les joints de la douche.

Le lieu est magnifique au bord du lac

La situation de notre chambre très petite et nuit infernale à cause du bar juste en dessous. Bruit jusqu’à 02 heures du matin sommes partis 1 jour avant à cause du bruit. Les tarifs de l’hôtel sont exagérés 1 dl vin 9.- fr….attendu 45 minutes pour un plat froid c’est quand même long

Lake side position is arguably one of the best in Weggis.  However, if you want to maximize this ensure that you have a lake side room, on a  high floor with a  balcony . Staff are excellent, professional, friendly and customer focused. Restaurant provides very good, quality food to satisfy most tastes, be it breakfast, lunch or evening . The hotel terrace offers a spectacular place to dine. The hotel is very clean, organised and and runs very efficiently. There is free guest parking for 10 cars on a first come basis. We were fortunate to get a place on all 9 days of our stay. Ideal position for the bus and boat services,  and to the Rigi cable car.

Like most hotels in Weggis it is relatively old and therefore while having charm and a special appeal it does not have the refinements of a modern hotel.  No air conditioning, which was a significant issue during the heatwave of June 26 - hotel provided fans, but they don’t replace ac. While generally good, the room facilities are basic. No coffee making machines, fridge/mini bar, limited toiletries ( bath and hand soap only),  no bathrobes, no ironing/trouser press. Towels and bedding were changed daily and the room well cleaned.

Important to provide a constructive balance. Also, to note that we were there during the June 2026 European heatwave. Positives: Lake side position is arguably one of the best in Weggis. To maximise this ensure that you have a lake side view room, on a high floor with a balcony . Staff are excellent, professional, friendly and customer focussed. Restaurant provides very good quality food to satisfy most tastes, be it breakfast, lunch or evening . The hotel terrace offers a spectacular place to dine. The hotel is very clean, organised and and runs very efficiently. There is free guest parking for 10 cars on a first come basis. We were fortunate to get a place on all 9 days of our stay. The furniture and fittings are in keeping with the environment and tastefully applied. The room was well appointed, the bed comfortable and towels and bedding were changed daily and the room well cleaned. Worth being aware that the room facilities are basic - No coffee making machine, no mini bar, limited toiletries ( bath and hand soap only), no bathrobes, no ironing/trouser press. General tips: Remember to get your ‘Day Visitors Pass’ from your hotel which provides local discounts- particularly good for boat, cable car tickets. If driving, have Chf1 coins to pay for parking - some meters take card, but from our experience it is mainly coins. Weggis church bells, like other Swiss towns and villages, ring out every 15-mins 24/7. While adding to the atmosphere of this lovely town some may find it disruptive to sleep.

La struttura necessita di una ristrutturazione generale, la nostra camera, junior suite, aveva le poltrone bucate, divano e pavimento in parquet macchiati, le tende pure in parte rotte. Mobili in generale vecchi. Ci sono solo tende sottili, non oscuranti, niente tapparelle per cui al mattino molto presto entra il sole. Peccato inoltre che la struttura non abbia l’aria condizionata per più confort nei giorni di afa estiva.
