We had a really good experience at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. A special thank you to the manager, Isma, who was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. We would also like to thank Dewa, the gardener, and all the reception staff for their excellent service and friendly attitude. Everyone made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others!

Estaba bastante sucio y deteriorado

Blood/mud stain on sheets, dark bathroom and rusty mirror with a weirdly positioned toilet. Door lock is very loose and wobbly. Located in the middle of nowhere. Was staying for 16 nights but had to leave after 1 night due to school arrangements, and the hotel refuses to give any refund. They forced me to sign a statement for 0 refund at checkout. Awful experience.

The room and ambiance was simply amazing. The food and service was top tier! I requested room decoration and it was simply beautiful to walk into a room with fresh flowers.

Was disappointed to see the hotel was so run down. Need to have an update to bring it back and maintained the quality of 5 star rating from 10 years ago. Lots of mosquitoes in room and asked receptionist to spray. Was told that this is a tropical island Madame. Cannot sit by the pool without mosquitos making a meal out of us. Was then given burner to use by our villa pool and this helped a lot, but main pool was still an issue. Beach transfer to beach that is more suitable for surfer than a swimmer and no t private to hotel. Staff was lovely and helpful.

It was an amazing experience for us, the biggest highlight was how beautiful our one bed villa was, and the hotel staff were genuinely amazing, super friendly and super attentive, felt like a family environment. It’s very calm and super amazing for it’s spa, breakfast (specially floating breakfast), and villa. I would definitely recommend, specially the staff there is going to make it very easy for you, they are amazing. Value for money is amazing and it is very clean, daily cleaning was very good.

The room was dated, and a bit grubby, plus no shower curtains meant the room got very wet. It smelt a bit damp as a result. The cleaning wasn't up to western standards.

What to expect: The whole hotel need a facelift, starting with breakfast. The food was terrible. Breakfast sits out all morning and doesn't taste fresh. We tried everything on the menu for dinner because it's far from everything. Everything is disappointing. We bought food at a grocery store and put it in our fridge but everything soiled. The fridge does not get cold enough to keep food inside. On the map it looks close to places but with traffic and the poor road conditions if take 30 minutes to get anywhere. It's close to Jimbaran beach, but it's a disappointing dirty beach. The hotel is cheap and it feels cheap when you are there. The room is spacious but once you leave your room there is a weird empty feeling in the hotel. The upstairs bar was closed the entire time we were staying there and we stayed there for 5 nights. The gym is super small and has an air freshener going nonstop which made it impossible to breath in there. The air condition in the gym is weak and barely works. Positive notes: Moni at the spa is the best massage in bali.

Poor location with no facilities near by, accessible only by very poorly maintained unadopted road, taxi/grab required for any thing outside the hotel. Tired rooms and building in need of maintenance and upgrading, broken dirty upholstered chairs, broken sun loungers lights, dirty pools and fillers. Little to no facilities in hotel, those available poor quality, roof top bar and restaurant, pool bar separate pool- all need renovating Food poor quality and repetitive Definitely not a 5 star so if your expecting it you will be very disappointed Spa staff really pleasant as are some of the staff

The aromatherapy massage was absolutely wonderful and incredibly relaxing. The essential oils smelled lovely, the therapist’s touch was gentle and professional, and I felt completely calm and stress‑free the whole time. It was such a soothing and rejuvenating experience.

We had a truly excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. A special thank you to Berta, who went above and beyond for us. She was always there, incredibly helpful and caring — we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended, and we are very grateful for everything.

The location of the hotel is poor. The road leading to the hotel is dreadful. The villa was run down and not very clean. The staff were amazing and the spa was amazing. However, the cleaning of the outside areas of the villas needs vast improvement. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel!

We stayed here with a Scoopon deal, which was good value. The location is quite far away from the usual tourist options , and only accessible by car/ bike. We used a Gojek to get around. The buffet breakfasts were good, with a decent selection, however the dinner options we chose were just average. There’s nowhere else within walking distance that you can choose from . We are people that like to go for a walk after dinner etc, and unfortunately the roads are very bad and unsafe to walk on, and really nowhere to walk to or see. We enjoyed our stay, but would not return. The staff were lovely and very efficient .

Receptions at hotel are very friendly and often gives useful , efficient help . They can speak a good English. The restaurant are very clean , coffee and food quality are impressive! Hotel room very clean , elegant , make it like your own home 🏡 The massage room are beautiful . The price it’s reasonable.

This hotel is a hidden gem. We had a very nice private pool villa booked through Luxury Escapes that included half board. Their restaurant menu is extensive and all our meals were well presented and tasty. It may seem to be out of the way but there is a three times a day shuttle to the south end of Jimbaran Bay where there are several sea food restaurants on the beach and a short walk to the shops and restaurants by the Movenpick hotel. It cost us 100000rupiah for a Blue Bird taxi to the Discovery shopping complex in Kuta. $9aud The staff are friendly and the manager Isma looked after splendidly with nothing to much trouble.

The looks of the hotel are misleading on bookings.com as 5*. Even the staff agreed that it should be 3* We stayed here for two nights. The lead up to the hotel was so bad as the road was totally broken. Food was mediocre quality. The rooms are not 5*

I have an amazing experience, I was treated as part of a family. Everyone makes me feel settled and welcomed. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

Our bed was comfortable. We had a second room booked but the smell in the room was unbearable! It smelled like mold and mildew. They offered a second room that also had the same smell. They offered a Villa room which also had the same smell. I convinced them to set up beds in our room so all 4 of us shared one room. I told them I didn’t expect a refund for the second room they made me sign a waiver. Breakfast was mediocre so we stuck to eggs and toast. Dinner menu was terrible food was tasteless and severely overpriced and overcooked. Road was in horrendous shape leading to the hotel in need of repair. Some of the Grab drivers refused to pick us up due to the road. Staff were polite and friendly though when we called reception it always took awhile to get someone to come up. Linen had stains and the water in the bathroom smells like raw sewage! Had to wash hands in the bathtub as hot water was not available in the sink. Probably would not recommend this Hotel as it’s to far from a nice beach and we had to take a grab to go anywhere. Roads unsafe not walkable. Garbage everywhere! Would never go back came home feeling disappointed ☹️

The Leaf Jimbaran is located in a nice quiet area with access to many other attractions including a beautiful place called the Rock Bar. The staff at the Leaf Jimbaran are top notch, always so welcoming and willing to help. Exceptional service was provided by Diva and Julian in the lobby, who were always helpful and friendly. Our room was a bit disappointing as it had a very funky smell however we did not allow us to enjoy the rest of the amenities.

The rooms very spacious and Very nice, the only issue is the bugs. The bathroom setup is beautiful.in terms of cleanliness is not too bad if they can find a solution for the bugs it would be great.

We stayed 9 days and to be honest this would be a 3 star at best! Staff were great and generally good hotel! Now something I must warn all that book here. We booked as all inclusive, we soon found out this was not the case. we was charged for drinks and food! Breakfast was only meal that was fully inclusive! Lunch and dinner we where given snack meals menu for our inclusive and everything else was a charge, we come to the end of our stay and while we waited at the reception area , we was charged for drinks and snacks that where in our inclusive package. After mentioning to the staff they said we have to pay as all inclusive doesn’t stand on the last day of your stay! Place is very outdated. Most staff were friendly. Resort is in the middle of nowhere and no beach area close by. Pool area wasn’t very clean and just constantly surrounded by bugs. We loved Bali and will return but we will never stay at this resort again!

A very clean hotel with very good service and the staff are very friendly. My only negative experience is the internet kept going down and as a result the TV kept turning off. The drinks to the bar were all brought down from the roof top bar. It's location is also not near any beach or shopping area.

We really appreciated the swimming pool (nice and well kept) and the floating breakfast, wich was very impressive and the staff made the right effort to satisfy us.

Overall, we didn't have a good experience. For a hotel that claims to be 5-star, we encountered the following inconveniences: We spent 4 nights in a room where the internet and TV didn't work. Then at 11pm :( no apologies, sorry, let alone an upgrade or a free beer; we were offered another room where these problems didn't exist. But we encountered something else: very noisy AC, broken curtain hostel-style, missing LED in the bathroom, and an overall impression of a bad room. Look at the photos to understand... The next day I reported everything to the reception. Here again no apology or anything else, they took steps to fix it, except for the AC which remained noisy. Bad: no one comes on vacation to wait while a 5-star hotel starts tidying up the rooms with guests inside. The restaurant was below average, with meats immersed in sauce to cheat on quantity, as well as freshness, everything cooked in advance. The staff is kinder and more friendly when: you don't complain, you leave tips, and when they offer you various services such as transfers at triple the cost of a taxi, massages, excursions, drinks, and Eating. These last two services are requested regularly if you're at the pool, in case you forget what you're supposed to do. Cynthia, it's your turn

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. The property itself is truly impressive and beautifully designed. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a private pool, which proved to be ideal for both comfort and privacy. The service was top-notch – polite, helpful, and always smiling. The breakfasts were delicious, varied, and fresh, a perfect way to start the day. Definitely a place worth recommending, and we'd happily return. By the way, there's a little kitten wandering around the hotel, very friendly. We took care of him during our stay (photo attached). Please take care of him 🩷

I have had two treatments from Wistari now and both have been amazing! As my past profession is in this line of work I can be very fussy about my treatments but I can honestly say the massage I had and the reflexology are beyond amazing! I will try and sneak another one in before my holiday ends :)

Our stay was made special by the lovely staff. So caring and helpful. The food was great and our only sunset photos in Bali were from rooftop restaurant Cilantro. The villa was comfortable and well presented. The gardens were a delight to walk around.

The villa was exactly like the pictures. It was big and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very good service. It's not far from the airport. I have no complaints. I would definitely stay there again. I wilk recommend the Leaf Jimbaran.

The one bedroom villa is just amazing. Staff is also awesome. I recommand also the spa. Nothing to say, it is a five star experience. Just about Food, it is Good but I would rate it as a 4/5 stars. Thanks again to the team, very kind and considerate.

The villa had a strong, unpleasant odor due to excessive humidity and was poorly maintained, with outdated and low-quality furniture. There was no laundry service available, which was quite surprising for a hotel claiming to be five stars. When I inquired about it, both the manager and receptionist simply told me to take my clothes to a nearby laundromat—completely unacceptable for a property of this caliber. Additionally, I found a spider in the bed and requested a change of bedsheets, but no action was taken. Based on my experience, this hotel doesn’t deserve more than two stars. NEVER AGAIN

I had an amazing couples massage with my girlfriend and we both had an amazing 1hr treatment that started from our feet all away up to our faces, the pressure was perfect throughout and I felt so relaxed. We were then greeted with a lovely rosella tea and honey afterwards. My masseuse komang was really good at her job. Would highly recommend!

Stayed at the Leaf with our two teenage boys for 4 nights. The villas were not new but large, well furnished and well maintained. Nice pool area, small fitness studio and spa "OK". The restaurant was excellent. and reasonably priced, albeit their portions are on the small size for teenage boys.... Excellent breakfast buffet. We took advantage of the free shuttle to Muaya beach every day and spent the afternoons and evenings there This beach is well known for the seafood restaurants where you sit at table set up on the sand and watch the sunset. There isn't much within walking distance of the Leaf but there is a small store and a very inexpensive laundry with overnight service.

The breakfast has good spread. The reception and manager are very friendly and response to our request. The rooms are very spacious. The toiletries are adequate.

The toilets and rooms still have damp smell. The pillow case not so clean. The road leading to the villa are very bad, full of potholes and narrow. No transport provided to the shopping centres.

It looked pretty.

Everything else. The food was very bad, very mediocre and tasteless. The room was big, dirty and outdated, easily fills up with mosquitoes. We couldn’t sleep the last night. The bathroom was leaking from the roof and stank of mold. Drawers were smelly. Everything was overall very unkept. Faucets were oxidized. It looked so dirty. The pool was full of insects and dead black worms. The villa right next to us was under construction - they started around 8:00am. On one of the mornings they called us on the phone to wake us up, in order to calls us for breakfast - this was unrequested - we were shocked and rather upset. Some minutes later, house keeping proceeded to ring our bell 5 times, this was at 10am. We called reception asking them to stop. We never imagined the staff to be this intrusive. We couldn’t fall back to sleep. Jimbaran is in the middle of nowhere. There’s nothing around it. Everything is extremely far away. The accesses are terrible. Everything is full of trash. People kept making regards on us being white meant we had money; if we could tip them more. It was awkward. We were just waiting for our stay to reach its end. This hotel needs some TLC.

Mum and I spent 10 nights at this beautiful hotel/villas. Everything from start to finish was just perfect! When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely welcome drink that was so refreshing! The staff at the leaf jimbaran are what make it so special, Bayu who was always there with a big smile, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy during our stay, kept us entertained with his beautiful singing and stories. The dining staff, reception staff, house keeping, security, grounds staff were all so lovely and friendly. We had booked a deluxe room which was so beautiful, spotless and fresh, we were upgraded to a villa for nyepi for two nights which was also very beautiful and well kept, the whole grounds of this hotel are just so beautiful and tropical, the pool area is lovely and peaceful. The food was delicious. We didn’t get to try the spa but we did use the shower area to freshen up before we left and it was so kind of the staff to let us use the amenities free of charge. We can’t thank the staff enough at the leaf jimbaran for making our stay so memorable, would highly recommend and we will definitely be back again in the near future.

We had a fabulous stay at The Leaf and my early morning swin in our villa's private pool will make this a stay we will never forget. The breakfast offered a lot of choice and the food in the restaurant was good. The shuttle to the beach was also welcome. Apart from the fabulous villa, the staff made our holiday a stand out experience. Thank you to Isma, Alden, Dina, Dita and Leo (our room boy who is a master of towel sculpture). Also highly recommended the Thyme spa where we had a number of 60 minute Balinese massages by the skilful hands of Wistari. She has magic strong hands. We were saddened to leave, but there's always next year.

We stayed 14 nights at this magical resort. The highlights include the villas swimming pool as well as the main pool with waterfalls and a small kids pool, the wonderful staff who do their outmost to accompdate any request and the three televisions that connect to Netflix, Youtube etc. The wifi was fast and without any connection issues. Even though the location is a bit remote they have a shutyle going to the nearest beach several times a day and a kiosk right outside the hotel. Thank you for a great time!

Room facilities were not function well.

Very relaxing massage, nice atmosphere. Very accommodating. Also got a tea afterwards. The koi pound outside was very beautiful and relaxing. Had a 30min message, very thorough. Was able to get the massage instantly, without any waiting.

Amazing villa with personal pool. Beautiful plants huge room with outdoor kitchen and full fridge. Breakfast buffet was decent and coffee was good. Staff very helpful and great with our young daughter.

The smell of sewerage was terrible. Could not use public bathroom with smell, toilet paper had to go in bin, so smell of poo was horrible.

My experience was amazing I enjoyed every aspect of my trip staying with this amazing accommodation, upon arrival I my friend and was greeted by Bayu who was such a delightful person, upon his greeting my friend and I knew this trip was going to be one we come to love. The staff at this resort is nothing but exceptional, their warm energy puts a smile on your face every day, which makes the experience and atmosphere 10 times better than it actually is . I would recommend this accommodation to everyone base on the amazing room , exquisite food and spectacular hospitality. Let’s just say we most definitely will be coming back.

The villa was great - the view is amazing! Clean, nice and beautiful. The stuff was very understanding and responsive. All the issues were resolved very quickly. Also can recommend cocktails at the bar - was the best cocktail I've tried on the Island)

The rooms are big and swimming pool in the villa was long but not too deep even for kids to worry. The checkin and checkout was smooth. The prices are very reasonable

Location it’s not close to anything but not far from anything either so all in all a mixed bag.

The flies in the restaurant. This is a general observation for all of Bali. Even the most upscale properties can’t get rid of flies in eating areas.

Initially, I was shocked to find myself in a room with clear signs of significant moisture issues. As soon as I entered, the odor was overwhelming. Despite the hotel staff's efforts to mask the unpleasant smell with various scented products, it didn’t help at all. The room itself was spacious and nicely decorated, so I attempted to remove the scented items and opened the windows, but after an hour, the smell persisted. I requested a room change, and the hotel staff, who were very friendly, accommodated my request. The second room was smaller, but thankfully, it didn’t have a strong odor at first. However, over time, I noticed a distinct humidity smell. It was no surprise to discover mold on the bathroom walls. I had to place a towel over the air duct to minimize the odor. My friend, who stayed in the adjacent room, experienced the same issue. We didn’t spend much time in our rooms, so we chose not to switch hotels, but keep in mind that the hotel is quite isolated—you’ll need to take a cab to reach restaurants and the beach.

We got a large private pool in our villa with beautiful garden, the bathtub is facing the pool and have direct access to it. Room is absolutely gorgeous! Breakfast is buffet and changing menu every day, super delicious. We had our romantic dinner with sunset view at their rooftop restaurant

We were welcomed by most friendly people here. The moment we arrived, they give us this healthy welcome drink, coming to our villa, we are surprised by the large room with glass walls overlooking directly to our large swimming pool, and beautiful garden. The bathroom was also super gorgeous, there are separate shower and toilet plus the bathtub facing the pool, it was amazing experience to have a bath there, moreover we book their love potion couple bath with milk and rose petals while drinking wine. Beautiful and a scrumptious dinner at their rooftop with stunning sunset view. As a couple we really enjoyed our stay, there are no words to describe how romantic and peaceful our stay was. Definitely come back again!

The lobby was gorgeous then up a lovely tree lined path and thw wooden doors opened to my own private paradise. Private pool beautiful rooms with lounge and the biggest bed with big comfy pillows. Bathroom with great shower bath fluffy towels. everything smelt divine. Ha d lunxh in the resrauranr ans buffet breafast and room.service. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Treated myseld to a massage in the on sire spa. Convenient free shuttle to the beach.
