ONE STATION HOTEL KUMAMOTO

We stayed on the 11th Floor and the room looks like newly renovated. Spacious and very clean. We could access the beverage section on the 4th Floor which provides coffee, tea, wine and cup noodles too😊. Will stay again when we visit Kumamoto next time!!

We had the room with the bunk beds and the slide. It was perfect. Clean, comfortable, and very accommodating. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay at this hotel longer!

Right next to the station. Friendly staff

Staff were great, place was clean but the beds were uncomfortable and kept moving around. Not a comfortable sleep.

It is a ok hotel with good location. Pictures are much better than the real room. Think the customers are mostly one time travelers. The fabric of the couch is plastic and make people feel uncomfortable.

超級乾淨與軟硬度適中的床和枕頭。

Very nice and convenient, right beside the main Kumamoto Station.

Conveniently located next to the JR Kumamoto station mean lots of options for food and shopping at the AMU Plaza. Airport shuttle is located right outside the hotel. Tram stations are also right outside.

Room is spacious and comfortable, but using traditional keys instead of a room card is kind of inconvenient

The two nights we spent at this hotel were the best thus far. The staff was attentive and spoke enough english to help us with anything. The hotel is right beside a mall. There a bunch of restaurants to choose from as well. The room itself was clean and we always had towels avaliable. The only part that was annoying was that drain for the shower was clogged.

全般的に良い位置とクリーンな環境を持ってるところです。駅の前でいる長点とバス停留所がすぐ近いにあるのが良いだと思います。ただし、大きい音じゃないけど列車の音が部屋まで聞こえます

Overall a very excellent hotel. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good. It had a large selection. being very close to the train station made it very convenient. There was also access to other forms of transportation very close. If you have a rental car, there is a Parkade you must pay for behind the hotel. The rental car centres are also located very close to the hotel.

It took some effort to step into washroom due to heigh gap

The breakfast buffet was a cut above normal and definitely worth paying for.

Very good top notch hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

worth the price of the room

Booked primarily because it is close to jr station. Downside after 8pm nothing nearby open except family mart inside station. Staff were great. Assisted filling out the luggage transfer form and retrieving card when I locked my self out while checking out. Bed is firm and comfortable. Ac can be controlled. Shower press is great

Close to train and bus stations.

Beautiful

Really old carpeting and facilities. Had a really dusty old smell

Very close to Kumamoto station, just 4 mins walking distance. Clean but a bit old in renovation. Small TV

3 minutes from JR Kumamoto station by foot. Very convenient for transportation and to catch a cab.

Very close to station.

Great location, and comfortable beds for a quick stopover and visit to Kumamoto castle. Filthy carpet, outdated bathroom even on renovated 9th floor.

The hotel is located next to Kumamoto station. Transportation is very easy both locally and going to other places. There are many restaurants inside the station with lots of dining options. Like it.

Great location, and friendly staff!

We stayed in Kumamoto for three nights. Rooms were spacious and clean. It was sweet they provided a little bag for my son with slippers. The staff was friendly and spoke English. I enjoyed extra clean towels each day. The breakfast buffet had a lot of selections for western type food but was more pricey than I would have liked to spend. This hotel was walking distance to the train station which was very convenient for us. Overall, I enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Property is next to the Amu Shopping mall, train, bus and tram station. Very convenient.

Super spacious room. Amazing. Lots of storage spaces. Very comfortable. Bathroom little dated. Otherwise perfect. Awesome location next to train station.

next to train and bus station, super convenient

The staff was pleasant and courteous

This property needs to be updated. Rooms appear old and outdated. Room size was good but the carpet is old and appears dirty in the halls and in the rooms. The bed is hard and feels like you are sleeping on a box spring. I literally could feel the round springs. The pillows were hard. Also be careful when booking I did not realize I booked a smoking room and my room smelled like cigarettes. They did change it to a nonsmoking room for additional charges. The staff was very warm and friendly. The staff and location were the best part of the stay here. Right next to the rental car and train station.

Convenient location near Kumamoto Station, good range of FnB options in the area, clean room, great staff.

Good location, clean room, great staff. Near Kumamoto station. Mall nearby.

Great location. The hotel was very tidy, staff friendly and helpful. Very minor negatives. WiFi was a bit unstable. I would prefer a chair with a back to sit at the desk. There was a bit of thumping noise this morning between 7.30 and 9.00. Overall, a very nice hotel

性價比高

Great location to the train station. Staff friendly and helpful.

Pleasant and relaxing stay. Love the location of the hotel! The breakfast facility was definitely my favorite aspect of my stay.

Old-style stay. We have a real key instead of a card key. But the location was really good. There was an event just in front of the hotel. Very near to the mall. You could also walk to Kumamoto Castle, like 30 mins. The bus was also very convenient.

Convenient location.

Hotel is dated with cracked carpet. Free wifi is terribly slow!

Close to parking spot and amu plaza for shopping and dinner

Very near to Kumamoto Station. Good spread of breakfast buffet.

We chose this hotel due to the special Kumamoto decoration for the kids as a surprise for the trip. It was a very enjoyable three night stay as we loved the cute Kumamon bears that the kids loved playing, appreciated the spacious room and layout that fit ideally for a family of four with young kids and loved its close proximity to the Kumamoto station and Amu Plaza shopping centre. The kids were so sad when we had to leave for the next location.

convenient location and staff are friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. We enjoy our stay!

Wonderful stay always will be my go to hotel when I’m there

Was very pleased at how easy checking in was and the rooms tidiness.

Hotel was clean, and conveniently located.

Criei uma expectativa, mas nao correspondeu. O atendimento falta humanizacao. Estrutura dos quartos antiga.

Very nice hotel next to train station. Spacious! Good service!

The hotel was in a super convenient location, however quite unclean by Japanese standards. The carpets were quite dirty and the there was significant mould in AC vents.

Room is clean . Location is convenience walking distance to tram, bus and train station Service is excellent.

The hotel was very near Kumamoto station. Very convenient location. Enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel upgraded us to a larger room. Room was very quiet even though the hotel was next to the JR station. Great location and very convenient to all shinkansen, local trains, trams and buses. Buffet breakfast had a good spread. The reception staff were very friendly and even recommended us one of the best ramen we have tasted in Japan at the JR station. Our only issue was that our bed sank in the left side and had probably seen better days. Overall, we would definitely stay again at The New Hotel Kumamoto if we return to the city.

Hotel is very near to the Kumamoto station and near to amenities

It is alright overall. Plus point is the convenience because is next to Kumamoto Station. Front desk know very basic English. They could not understand if you ask complicated question. I booked the Kumamoto themed room. The room is quite run down and old. I read other articles online that they used to offer souvenirs if you book the theme room but they no longer offer that now. Parking is behind the hotel for 1,000 JPY per day, which is considered cheap for Japan.

2 minutes walk from Kumamoto Station, excellent location. Room is spacious, breakfast is good. Price is reasonable.

Great location, 5 mins from Kumamoto station and tram station. Many food options in AMU Plaza and the food hall in the train station. Traveling around is convenient. I booked a Delux twin room, room is very spacious and clean. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. My family and I had a great stay!

This hotel is new, clean, and super convenient when traveling by train. The architecture and design are beautiful.

We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was very spacious and clean. The location is very convenient as it was by the shinkansen station.

Good location. Near cafes.

The room and bath were large and well appointed. The full length bench seating along the window was especially inviting. The hotel is a very short and easy well-paved walk from the kumomoto train station.

The hotel is near to Kumamoto station and tram stop. Convenient and room is comfortable. Provided cleaning amenities too. The only thing that is the air conditioning is not controllable and it is too warm for us. Hotel is asking us to open the window to get the cold air.

Friendly staff, and I got a corner room that has extra space! Bed and pillows are comfortable. Close to station, convenient!

Facilities were clean, and conveniently located next to train station.

Unfriendly girl receptionist

Very comfortable hotel right beside Kumamoto JR Station. Although approx 1km from city centre, transport options were very easy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the hotel breakfast.

They had supplied a few drinks inside the room refrigerator, however, the explanation on the sheet written in ENGLISH is totally incorrect. Basically says the drinks in the fridge are already paid for, which wasn't the case, but the ENGLISH was written that way. I think it's an embarrassment to the hotel. They should just say drinks are not included with the room rate.

This is a good budget hotel with comfortable overnight stay experience

This is a good budget hotel with comfortable overnight experience

Near the train station Housekeeping excellent Staff friendly

Friendly staffs. The hotel looks new from outside but rather outdated inside.

Dedicaed and helpful ounter staff. Central location to the Kumamoto Train Station (within 150 m). Nice breakfast.

Very close to train station. Easy access to streetcars. Stood sized rooms. Comfortable.

Pros: great hotel and service, a few minutes walk from Kumamoto train station at an affordable price. Both tram and bus stops directly outside. Parking is easy at the back, and they reimburse you 300yen (multi-storey parking 900yen for 24hours. There's also a ground level metered one next door for 800yen). Room was large and spacious, with a work desk and another corner couch with table - was a nice surprise as I had a lot of work to do. Cons: this is only for the superstitious Asians (which I am) - we got the standard king' room which was on a corner and room was odd shaped. We had the front door directly facing the bed and the large mirror on desk wall was overlooking the bed - not kosher for the feng shui concerned. Otherwise, loved the place and location, thank you!

We liked everything about this Hotel. Very nice and clean. Great staff. Good location near train station. Would definitely go back.

Good location. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. I really recommend this hotel.

I like the polite and helpful staff and location near railway at the hotel. However, the room is quite small in which putting luggage is not easy at all.

Everything is simply excellent. Three minutes walk from Kumamoto JR station and tram station. The hotel and the staff there are all excellent too!

Spotless and very cosy. Slightly further away from the city centre but still a good location.

Coffee bar all messed up. Place kind of a scam. Prices too high.

Convenient location to stay for the next day train ride. Good eats around the train station.

The Kumamon room is so cute, very happy to stay in this theme room. The location is very good, 3 mins walk to JR station

Staff are nice and helpful. But most of the staff can not understand English well Good location The room is too small

Near to station, easy check-in and check-out, I think most Japan hotels do too.

very nice room. staff was very helpful and smart. check-in was quick.

The bed is nice and cosy. The room is fairly big too. The breakfast in the restaurant is tasty and has a good variety of food choices too.

近熊本站，生活機能方便 床舒適，double room 空間仍很充足 房內設施備品新又充足 總括滿

We were welcomed by the friendly staff at the door the moment we walked in and the lovely lady helped us bring our luggage upstairs, leading us up the lift and guiding us all the way to our hotel room. The drinks in the minibar are not free, which was not immediately apparent to us. There was an ice bucket for ice outside the room which was surprising. Happy with the stay overall

Easy for public transportation. Everything was good - room, food, service.

We weren't here for very long. But the location is great as it is next to the JR Kumamoto station, so very convenient.

Amazing hotel. Very high quality all around and great location.

It is a nice hotel, and it's next to the station, but I don't know why google map lead us to walk a whole circle.

So close to the station... easy to access to various spots by tram.. enjoy my stay at the hotel

The hotel is very new, and a short walk to JR station & tram station. Front staff speak good English. Fit my purposes. For those who want night life & variety choice of food, then down town is a better choice.

Near Shinkansen station. Breakfast, not included, a bit expensive to include.

Really close to the station and staff very nice

A great hotel with great service. Restaurant and bar staff very helpful and friendly. Special mention for Ohtani who went out of his way with service.

Convenient location to train station. Able to quickly go from Kumamoto station to Higo Ozu station for Explore Kumamoto tour. Able to get to Shinkansen easily. Great breakfast. Clean comfortable room.
