女子トイレに和式が多かった。

古い建物の割に、綺麗にメンテされているホテルでした。錦帯橋に近いのがいい。

We hadden een kamer aan rivierzijde, dit is een pluspunt. De onsen waren geweldig, vooral het buitenbad. Het eten was van zeer goede kwaliteit en de service was 5* waard

Old-school onsen hotel without any pretentiousness. Most comfortable futon I've ever slept on. Lovely. View of Kintaikyo bridge from the hot pool is a bonus.

お部屋の掃除が行き届いていて清潔感がありました。 部屋の窓から望む、錦帯橋ライトアップは最高のロケーションで感激でした。スタッフの方々も丁寧な対応をして下さいました。

外出先から部屋に戻った時に、若干カビ臭⁈の様な匂いがしました。（匂いは多分、エアコンの吹き出し口辺りからだと思います）

The Onsens were incredibly relaxing and refreshing. The staff was extremely helpful and always cheerful. The entire hotel was always clean. The hotel does feel nostalgic for Japan and adds to its charm.

This hotel is like stepping back in time to the 1970's and I loved it for that. It's a bit faded but full of atmosphere and elegance whilst the staff are excellent. Our stay included a remarkable 10 course traditional dinner which I will always remember. I enjoyed wearing the supplied yukata at breakfast! I wish I had time to try the hot baths.

Whilst the river and castle views are lovely the immediate vicinity of the hotel really needs tidying up.

Fantastic location, very spacious rooms and friendly staff. The baths were lovely and the views of Kintaikyo Brifge were amazing from our rooms and from the rotenburo

In-house breakfast was a very ordinary buffet and the beds were rather too firm.

Breakfast was good, quite traditional. The location near the bridge is excellent, we were all happy with our rooms although we didn't have a view it was fine.

The staff was so friendly and tended to every need and wish…very customer oriented! 5 star plus experience!

We loved the view of the bridge and the castle. Our family room was very large and comfortable. The Japanese dinner was amazing.

Unfortunately despite all the positives, the bathroom needed an upgrade. The hot water on the shower took about 15 minutes to come through.

Lieu enchanteur à deux pas du Kintaikyo. Onsen merveilleux, spacieux et varié ! Chambre avec vue sur le pont immense et très joliment meublée. Lits de style japonais (futons) extrêmement confortables. Dîner et petit-déjeuner parfaits ! Vue sur le pont pour le petit déjeuner ! Personnel aux petits soins mais discret.

Éventuellement des rénovations à faire dans la chambre (petits trous ou paroi en osier abîmée, taches sur les papiers peints dans les sanitaires). Mais sinon tout était parfait !

Beautiful location, views. and staff. I loved the electric bicycles available for guests to use. Gift shop was cute and great shop for a snack or souvenir. Loved the hot baths, bathing areas. The room was very nice, linens all were ironed and well cared for. Robes were used and enjoyed.

Rugs/ carpets needed cleaning throughout the hotel, the room we stayed in had four walls around the Western beds and the top edge of the walls was a dust haven. I would have appreciated more information in English.

The Hotel is located very close to Kintaikyo bridge and Iwakuni castle. The views from the Hotel are exquisite. There's even a public bath and an onsen which is very relaxing.

各部署のスタッフ皆さんが素晴らしいサービスをして下さいました。大変心地良く過ごすことができました。フロントスタッフ皆さんの言葉や表情からまず癒されて、夕食は錦帯橋を眺める広い個室で、なんと花火まで観れて、食事は全て美味しく大満足。個室担当のスタッフさんは、細やかな心を寄せてサービスして下さいました。お風呂も部屋からタオルを持っていく必要はなく、清潔なタオルをお風呂入口に準備して下さっていて、最高でした。部屋はとても静かで美しく、ゆったり滞在させていただきました。また行きたいホテルです！

We had a room with the private bath and it was amazing. The forest view out the back was very relaxing. Also this hotel is less than a block form the famous bridge and just across the river from the tram and castle. It was lovely to see the bridge during sunset as we ate dinner and then be close enough to walk to the castle prior to checkout in the morning. Also the style inside is very cool and retro!

Everything, in particular the free onsen and spa.

The Sakura restaurant (both at dinner and breakfast) was below expectation

Small non-chain hotel. We got larger rooms and they were quite spacious, and everything was functional. Safe and slippers were provided, but no iron. They have excellent Japanese restaurant on site, and the souvenir store. Breakfast had lots of Japanese options, but very limited western offering.

It is a little expensive.

Lovely location by the Kintaikyo bridge. Friendly attentive staff. Very comfortable bed. I got dinner included in my booking which was a 10 course kaiseki, I didn't like everything I had but it was a nice experience all the same.

The decor is quite dated in the rooms. The value for money here isn't great but for a night I think it's still worth staying if you're visiting Iwakuni for the Kintaikyo bridge and surrounding area.

I loved everything about the Kokusai Kanko hotel. My room faced the beautiful Kentai bridge and the amazing hillside scenery. I used the onsen at least twice a day and it was absolutely blissful and recharged my soul. The breakfast had many options and I always selected the Japanese specific cuisine which left me satiated but not bloated like most western breakfasts. The room was always clean and had everything I needed. Would like to come back on a non-business trip and explore the area more in-depth! Thank you to thr wonderful staff who made my stay so memorable!

Get location to enjoy the country side and nice friendly staff. They were patient with me while I asked questions about the use of the SPA in the hotel as i had never been in a SPA like that and wanted to make sure I totally understood the customs while in it.

I visited the Iwakuni Kokusai Oanko hotel for the public bath only. It was my first time experiencing this and I enjoyed it immensely. The cost was $1700 yen ($11 USD) and I read in some other reviews that this price is a little high. I have nothing to compare it to so I don’t know. From the hotel main entrance, go to the elevators and right up to the 7th floor. Walk down the hallway by following the signs to the public bath. Take your shoes off once you arrive and lock in the shoe locker (no charge). Buy your ticket from the vending machine. The woman in the booth will hand you a small and larger towel. Enter the appropriate side for men or women and find a locker to strip down to your birthday suit (naked) as they say. Leave your large towel and clothes in the locker. Enter the washing area and clean yourself and dry with the smaller towel. You carry this around and can hide your private parts for modesty if you feel the need. Do NOT ever put this small towel in the water. You can carry on your head or place on the outside edge of the tub but never in the water. Do not put your face and head in the water. These actions are considered unsanitary. There was one indoor tub and dry sauna and 2 outdoor tubs. Apparently they switch sides between men and women because the view is different. I preferred the outdoor tubs for the view, fresh air and too cool down. I sat on the edge with just my feet in once I got too hot. I spent about 90 minutes total and think that is more than enough time. They have soap, shampoo and maybe conditioner at each bathing stall. I don’t know what amenities were provided in the changing area as I didn’t need anything other than the single stall toilet.

The views just across the street are stunning in the Springtime.

Stayed one night when visiting customer nearby. Room was small, but functional. The problem was thermostat that seemed to ignore temperature setting. I set it to 22C and temperature did not drop below 26C; rather warm at night. Short walk to the bridge.

Came here for lunch which was provided on a coach tour of Hiroshima and the surrounding area so this review is for lunch only. Our meal consisted of a nicely presented bento box with accompaniments. All the food was cold including the tempura items. We had no idea what most things were so it was a case of trial and error. Overall we did not really enjoy it.

Beautiful view at breakfast, and a fairly epic and grand lobby. I enjoyed the giftshop in the lobby, also, which made souvenir shopping easy.

Everything was perfect. I can only recommend this wonderful hotel in a wonderful area of Japn

古い建物ですがとても清潔です 錦帯橋の直ぐ側で錦帯橋の景色を朝晩楽しめます。 フロントの方に蓮根麺が食べたい何処かがありますかときいても分からずで、もう少し近くの飲食店を詳しく知り案内をしてくれると良かったです。 朝食会場のスタッフは皆親切で良かったです。 全体的にとても常に全てのスタッフが挨拶をしてくれて親切で良いホテルでした。

The twin room was very spacious and comfortable. Dinner was superb, even though the choice was limited to 3 set courses. Breakfast was a mix of Japanese and Western buffet. The location is great, with views of Kintaikyo from the restaurant.

The breakfast had a good selection.

The Kokusai set menu meal was very ordinary with ice cold sashimi and bland offerings. The Chawanmushi was nice. You are better off ordering a la carte or pre book Teppanyaki well in advance. We tried to upgrade to a Teppanyaki meal but this was too difficult at 2:00pm for that evening's meal. Everything else was fine.

Wonderful staff and comfortable room. Food was great, including the breakfast buffet which had a great selection of dishes. Location could not be better: close to bus station, great views of the river, bridge, and castle. Onsen was lovely, especially at night.

An oddly stained carpet did not seem in sync with the otherwise wonderful room.

I got the room with a view of the building's roof. I don't mind not seeing the Kintai bridge but not being able to see anything is a bit sad. If our window we clear of obstacles, it would have been perfect.

We had a huge room with a view of the Kintai Bridge, Kikko Park, and the Castle. The actual bedroom with western beds could be blocked off from the rest of the room by shoji screens. There was a sitting area with a low table where your tea service and cookies were replenished every day. There is also an alcove right next to the window with a small table where you could work. There is a large dressing area right outside the toilet room and bath/shower/sink area. There is plenty of room for your luggage. The tatami mats provided a nice fragrance. The hotel offers smaller rooms for businessmen. The public baths were clean with 2 inside pools and 2 outside pools with tranquil scenery. The breakfast buffet offers western and Japanese dishes ranging from eggs, bacon, toast and croissants to local Iwakuni dishes, broiled fish, nato, rolled eggs, ochazuke, salads, and fruit to name a few things. Tea, coffee, milk, and juices were also offered. It was hard not to overeat. The kaiseki dinners were wonderful. Starters, sashimi, grilled oysters, shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, tempura, puffer fish sashimi were among the stand outs.

The bathrooms need to be renovated. Everything was adequate but looking a little shabby. Also, it took 10 mins for hot water to get up to the 4th floor for showers or private baths.

何度も利用しています。広島中心部から1時間とアクセスが良く、錦帯橋の目の前で、立地抜群です。お風呂は露天風呂で四季折々の風景が体感でき、ゆったりとくつろげます。お料理も鮎と、岩国の郷土料理を含めた懐石料理がとても美味しいです。コロナで一人旅の方が多く、静かでゆっくり過ごせました。また紅葉が深まった頃に利用したいです。

ご飯が本当に美味しく、スタッフ全員のサービスが素晴らしかったです。
