Good location and good sized room.

Very disappointing stay – multiple issues throughout Unfortunately, my stay here was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend this hotel. When I arrived, I was told that they would not accept card payment, despite this not being clearly stated anywhere when I made the booking. I had no cash on me at the time, so I was told I could not check in until I had paid in cash. It was pouring with rain, and I had to walk to an ATM to get money, leaving me completely drenched. I also found the staff unwilling to accommodate an early check-in under any circumstances. There were also several problems with the room and facilities. The WiFi did not work, the shower had extremely poor water pressure, and the TV did not work, which staff were unable to fix. In my brother’s room, the air conditioning was leaking and eventually damaged the TV because the water was dripping directly onto it. Another major issue was with my booking. I accidentally booked 14 nights instead of 7. I contacted the hotel immediately after making the booking, before I had even checked in, to explain the mistake. However, when I arrived, the hotel refused to refund the unused nights and told me to contact support. I contacted support as instructed, but they also refused to provide a refund, meaning I ended up paying for accommodation that I was not even staying in. Housekeeping was another disappointment. My room was not cleaned until I specifically asked for it. I even removed the bedsheets myself to make things easier for the cleaners, but they simply left the used sheets on the floor and folded the sheet back up without replacing them with clean bedding. As a result, I had to sleep without proper clean sheets for part of my stay. The laundry service was also problematic. My towel was lost, and some of my belongings were even placed into another guest’s laundry bag.

Er is geen ontbijt voor deze lage prijs. Het hotel is waar voor zijn geld. En de locatie is midden in het centrum. Dus alles op loopafstand. Geen extra kosten voor Electra. Koelkast en airco op de kamer zijn goed maar maken herrie. Daar moet tegen kunnen of gewoon uitzetten.

The location was great! A short walk into the village. The hotel is lush, tropical and exotic…. You are really living in the jungle! The staff are super lovely!! So smiley and helpful!

Las toallas, aunque olían a lavadas tenían mucho uso y manchas, y las sábanas también. La cocina estaba muy sucia y las pinzas de las galletas tenían hormigas todos los días.

In unserem Zimmer hat es extrem schlecht gerochen. Vorallem die Bettdecke roch so, als sie nicht gut getroknet wurde und das war ziemlich unangenehm. Zudem war die Betreiberin einmal beleidgt weil wir eine Tour zu den Elefanten selbst gebucht haben und wir nicht Elefanten anfassen wollten wie es bei ihrer Tour der Fall gewesen wäre. Wir haben uns beide Touren im Internet angeschaut und für uns entschieden nicht diese vom Hotel zu nehmen. Ich finde es ein tolles Angebot vom Hotel, dass sie Touren anbieten aber finde auch, dass man auch selbst Touren buchen darf.

Se esistesse un campionato mondiale per i letti scomodi sicuramente potrebbe vincerlo. Materasso durissimo e cuscino durissimo, davvero davvero scomodi. Inoltre viene fornito un piumone (!!!) così pesante che in nord italia lo usiamo giusto forse a gennaio, giustificato dal fatto di dover tenere l’aria condizionata a mille. Alla seconda notte ovviamente abbiamo tolto il piumone e tenuto solo il lenzuolo perché altrimenti l’effetto era o gelo assoluto senza coperta o tropici sotto la coperta

On our first night, we stayed in a family room. It was spacious, but the washroom was so-so. There was no shower head holder, which was quite inconvenient. The air conditioner was also problematic—it was leaking a lot of water all night, even though we set the temperature to 25 degrees Celsius. ​The next day, we moved to room 101, a twin room (two twin beds). It was okay, but the sink faucet handle was missing, making it very hard to turn on the water with soapy, slippery hands. Again, there was no shower head holder, and one of the provided pillows stank badly. ​Overall, I'd give it 3 stars. It was just okay. Location was great.

Well situated and was able to check in at 12pm instead of 2pm after a long night bus ride. Nice staff.

位置还可以，价格也很合算。

噪音巨大，空调声音大到无法睡觉。没有电梯，爬楼比较麻烦。房间挺大的，但是浴巾看起来比较脏。第一天晚上噪音让我一夜没睡好，跟前台说了好久才给换了房间。幸亏定了两夜，不然这睡不好太崩溃了。

De ligging was goed. Kamer was groot. Personeel was vriendelijk. Je mocht je bagage laten liggen na je verblijf. Goede toiletartikelen.

Tv werkte niet. Je moet waarborg betalen voor het materiaal, maar de handdoeken en lakens hadden al vlekken. Het was gewassen maar ze zien er niet meer goed uit. Trappen nemen tot het 4e verdiep.

La cama estaba bien, la ubicación también en una calle tranquila, y el área de la entrada era super bonita y relajada, y tienen noodles y algunas cosas para que comas que te dan ello, aunque me quedé ahí por la cocina y está fuera de servicio. También el balcón tiene vista al templo y se ve muy lindo y en la noche es lindo estar ahí.

למקום יש גרוב של אכסניית נוער, למגבות היה ריח של כפות רגליים מזיעות, החדר היה פצפון, לא היה בו חלון(!) והצוות היה אדיש. נוסף לכל גם אין אינטרנט (לא עובד בכלל בקומה 4 היכן שתקעו אותי), ואין עם מי לדבר (ליטרלי, אין מספר טלפון והצוות מוזר ולא מבין אנגלית. לבקש פיקדון ואת התשלום מראש הם דווקא יודעים), יושבת שם סוכנת נסיעות כחלק מהמקום שמציעה נסיעות במחירים מופקעים. אם זה היה זול מאוד לא הייתי מתלוננת, אבל זה לא. אז בקיצור, להתרחק

It's a cosy, chill place in the city centre near the night market and opposite a Thai cooking class. Nanthana is wonderful and will help you book tours, transport, thai boxing, elephant reservation... anything you like! Free coffee & snacks. I really enjoyed my stay there and it's good value for money.

Très bon emplacement pour visiter la vieille ville de chiang mai. Idéalement placé pour le Sunday market. La possibilité de réserver des excursions avec la très sympathique Nancy :)

La chambre n’a pas été nettoyé durant le séjour ce qui est plutôt moyen. Pas d’ascenseur, pas gênant en soit mais à savoir qu’il y a pas mal de marches.

The staff and hotel are lovely, and I liked the big terrace, but I had to leave early as the WiFi didn't work! A shame as it was great otherwise and really good value.

Die Matratzen in den Doppelstockbetten waren steinhart. Die Matratze im Doppelbett war entgegen völlig in Ordnung.

NANCY is the best! She became our best friend in Chiang Mai. She helped us book some great tours (and gave us discounts). Her kindness, smile and laughter are the reason we want to write this review.

The wifi was down during our stay (apparently due to city construction out of the hotel's control), and the cell service inside the room was practically non-existent too. But the staff set up a temporary hotspot in the lobby area, which was nice of them.

Our stay at Kristis House has unfortunately been cut short. We booked for several nights, even though we saw mixed reviews. The staff was not really friendly and willing to accommodate at entry. The room had an unpleasant smell and the showerhead was unable to stay upright. Then in the middle of the night the air conditioning started to drip and leak loudly all over our clothes. When in the morning we addressed the issues and mentioned that we where going to move to an other place for the rest of our 5 day stay they were again not that friendly and unwilling to think with us. We know we did not book a 5-star hotel, but from the service and accommodation in a city can a lot more he expected.

The people working there are all so nice. I highly recommend booking day trips at the hotel instead of online.

the place is a bit run down.

Nancy was fantastic, we would like to take her back to the UK with us! We had reliable and consistent help and advice during our whole stay, it was brilliant. Nancy and all the staff were very friendly and always asked about our day when we were coming and going, very friendly environment to be in. The accommodation is the perfect location, so many things to see and do in Old town and Chang Mai are within walking distance or a short Grab ride. The building is well looked after and the rooms are a really good size with good AC.

The wifi was quite unreliable while we were here, Nancy and the team consistently chased it up with providers and even created a hotspot for guests down in the lobby which was fantastic. I don’t think the WiFi issue is normal so would not advise people to choose elsewhere to stay as a result. They made it work while we were here and we were very grateful.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Old Town. It is very convenient for getting around, with plenty of restaurants, pubs, bars, and 7-Eleven stores within walking distance. A great base for exploring the area and enjoying the local atmosphere. One of the highlights of this hotel is its outstanding tour booking service. Nancy provides exceptional assistance and can help arrange a wide variety of tours and activities. Hotel guests receive special discounts that often make the prices significantly cheaper than booking through outside agencies. Thanks to her recommendations and support, I was able to enjoy several great experiences while saving money at the same time.

When it comes to the reception staff, I generally had a much better experience with the staff working during the morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, whether male or female (although I encountered male staff more often). They were friendly, approachable, and usually willing to help whenever I needed assistance. However, I was less satisfied with the night-shift receptionist who usually wears glasses. On several occasions, I noticed him using his mobile phone or resting on the sofa near the entrance instead of paying attention to guests. Communication was also challenging at times. He often started conversations about topics that were unrelated to my needs, and when I asked questions, the answers were sometimes confusing or unrelated to what I had asked. As for the housekeeping staff, I would like to give them credit for doing an excellent job when they cleaned the room. The room was always well-maintained and cleaned thoroughly. However, there was an issue with consistency. On several occasions, I hung the "Please Make Up My Room" sign on my door, but the request was not attended to on the same day and was instead carried out the following day. While the quality of cleaning was very good, the response to room-cleaning requests could be improved.

Er is een reisbureau waar je tours kan boeken met korting. Erg lief vrouwtje wat daar de hele dag zit.

Er zat schimmel op 2 plekken op het plafond in de badkamer. Maarja wat verwacht je ook voor €10 per nacht… Onze kamer is geen een keer schoongemaakt. De 1e keer waren we simpelweg te laat de kamer uit en de tweede keer hing het bordje er gewoon nog.

Tout était parfait : l’hôtel était propre et l’emplacement idéal. Je recommande cet établissement sans hésitation !
