Il vero punto di forza è la fantastica terrazza panoramica, perfetta per godersi una splendida colazione con vista. La struttura si trova un po’ fuori dal centro, ma la posizione è ampiamente compensata dalla facilità con cui si possono prenotare i Tuk Tuk tramite l’app PickMe.

This definitely is a haven on the hills and a home away from home. The host Kethakie has a beautiful home and she makes you feel really welcome in it. It was so nice to be situated out of the hustle and bustle of Kandy city and enjoy the beautiful views over the hills from the comfort of your bedroom. The bed was so comfortable that I spent a full afternoon relaxing, admiring the view and watching the sun set on my last day here. The bed linens and towels are lovely and clearly high quality. The breakfasts are so generous and filled me up for most of the day! Kethakie was so kind and always asked how I slept or how my day was when I’d been out, which was really lovely. She was so helpful if I was in town and spoke to drivers for me so they could find the homestay. I would highly recommend booming Haven upon hills, thank you Kethakie for a wonderful stay.

La chambre était trés grande et tout confort avec une vue incroyable sur kandy et les montagnes. Les repas et petits déjeuners sont copieux et bons. Kate est très serviable.

Une amélioration sur le Wi-Fi serait la bienvenue.

The breathtaking views, and the warm and welcoming hospitality from the owner, Kethakie. She went above and beyond to make us feel safe and well looked after as two young girls travelling!

Beautiful views and a warm welcome This place is located a bit outside of Kandy and offers an absolutely amazing view over the green hills – truly a highlight of the stay. It’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The host was very kind and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well maintained. I especially enjoyed having breakfast with such a beautiful view – a great way to start the day. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Kandy!

The view is incredible!! The bed and pillows were really comfy we slept very well!

It is quite a way out of town and we weren’t able to get a Tuk Tuk or pick me due to the war in UAE and fuel panic so we had to walk down which was short of an hours walk but managed to get pick me back up

Basically everything. The place, the room, the view, the owner herself. The breakfast was a lot and so many options.You will feel like you are staying at home, so cosy.

The stay was AMAZING! You have the best view and the host of this guesthouse is so kind and welcoming🙏🏼 We were sad that we did not stay for longer😅 You can have dinner and breakfast at the property for additional charge and we stay absolutely try it because it was some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka🙌🏼

The place is just stunning! The views are amazing! The bedroom is huge with a very big bed, which is super comfortable. The bathroom id very spacious! Everything was super clean. Kandy is a very caotic city so for sure you will need a break. This was the best place for us. It was so much better than we thought! It's a little lost in the mountain but it's truly worth it. We stayed two nights and our sleep was incredible! The ambience of the house is super nice and the host, she is really nice. She recommended us some places. We could park our tuktuk. The breakfast was just amazing, the best we had in all Sri Lanka! Delicious!! The best breakfast with the best views. We also bought something to take away and have dinner one night at the terrace. It was super beautiful!

It's hard to find. There was no sign at all. It would be nice to have more indications on the road or at least something written on the door.

Best view ever, didn’t even need the Kandy view point because this was better, great breakfast for CHEAP. The hostess was really nice and helpful.

La stanza era bellissima, molto spaziosa, grande , con un bagno enorme e dotata di un arredo bellissimo. Vista top! La colazione poi era ricca e buonissima.

La stanza non era pulitissima, oltre all' armadio inutilizzabile, le plafoniere vicino al letto erano piene di ragnatele, il bagno poi pieno di muffa. L'acqua calda alla sera non funzionava e scendeva a sgoccioli. Per prodotti del bagno c'erano solo 2 saponette. La posizione era proprio scomoda, nessun servizio e proprio fuori città.

The location is simply amazing and you get the whole place to yourselves. The room is spacious, including the washroom. The terrace is an awesome place to relax. Nature is very close, you can hear birds and other sounds. We also saw some monkeys in the morning. Another big plus point is there are no mosquitos. One thing to keep in mind though, it is a bit far & higher from the city. The way down gets dark as soon as the sun sets. So if you plan to go to the city for dinner, you should go before the sun sets. Pickme doesn’t work most of the time from here, so you need to ask the owner for help.

This is a beautiful homestay, very comfortable & spacious. The views from the huge balcony are stunning. The host is very kind, booked my tuk tuk for me & helped me when I got sick.

Unfortunately, it’s pretty far from the city center and difficult to reach, but the room was amazing and the view even more! The host was super nice too.

Rooms are super clean and very big. View is phenomenal. Owner is very sweet and breakfast is also great.

Accommodation is very far from Kandy city. Keep that in mind. Not every tuktuk driver is willing to take you there because it is high up in the mountains. But the view makes it more than worth it.

The host, Kate was really helpful. The room was very bright & spacious with panoramic views of Kandy & the surrounding hills. The bed was really comfortable & we had a good seating area It's a very peaceful location Initially we felt we'd made a mistake by booking here as it felt too far out of the centre up steep roads( not helped by arriving in torrential rain in semi darkness & our taxi getting lost! ) But the location ended up being a bonus as the 50 minute walk down through winding roads, passing lovely houses , temples, friendly locals and beautiful flora and fauna was a highlight of the trip.

It was quite a way from the centre. Tuktuk & taxi drivers charge more as its quite a trek up a steep road.

The most lovely, friendly host for me and my girlfriend. The view was the best we have ever seen. So lucky to wake up to the most beautiful cloud inversion over Kandy. 100% would recommend staying here!

You stay in touch with a local lady, very nice! You have the best view. Clean room. Nice breakfast. Peacefull area in a crowdy city.

You need to get a tuktuk to get there, it is all the way up the hill.

You need tuktuk to the city area and the owner will call you a driver. Don’t forget to bring dinner or finish eating out cause there’s no restaurants nearby.

Had a wonderful time! The owner and staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The room was cozy and comfortable, perfectly capturing the home-stay vibe.

Stay was really good

I arrived as a stranger and left as a friend. The homestay has only one bedroom with a large rooftop terrace enough for 30 pax. The view is about stunning, i watched the beautiful sunset in my bed throughout the glass gliding door. The house is clean, spacious and has tasteful interiors. The bed is large and comfy. The host lady is very kind, open hearted and always there to help in whatever way. We chatted about buddhism, family and life over the delicious homemade milk tea and vegetarian meal. Her story was one of the biggest highlights of my trip to Sri Lanka! Everything has its pro and con. If you sign up for quietness and serenity, you might expect a bit extra effort to go to the city. But the host is there to offer her help and navigate whatever is needed.

It is soo hard too reach from City Center. When i was coming i paid 300 rupi, when i was returning tuk tuks wanted to charge me 2200 rupi.

The apartment and our room was really nice, very clean and had beautiful furniture. and did we mention the view? it is awesome! Our host welcomed us really warmly and prepared us a spontaneous wonderful dinner. it was one of the best we had in sri lanka! she organized us tuktuks, laundry service and gave lots of tips! We also had good talks and fun together. thanks so much again!

a bit aways from center. you need to get tutuk to center cost 1000 rupies per ways. However kandy dont have much night life so you can chill in the room anr balcony and enjoy the view 🤗
